A great location in Downtown Phoenix; small place that lends itself to a very cozy feeling. The long bar places diners, as if, immersed in the kitchen. The menu is simple, but the food is spectacular. Edible enticement awaits with every dish. Hands down the Caprese Martini is the MOST delicious drink I have encountered in Phoenix. read more

The staff was the star of the show for me. All very friendly and attentive throughout my visit, cant say enough positive things about them. The size of the restaurant is relatively small but has a hip-upbeat ambiance. The slight cons I had with the visit was that the dishes run slightly high. For the price, I found my meal okay, nothing to really write home about. If I could, I'd give this place a 3.5. I plan on visiting again to try some of the other dishes incase they are better. For this first visit I went with the penne vodka and added a chicken cutlet and ricotta read more

Long time regular, first time reviewer. Best chicken parm I've had since Little Italy! The vibes are immaculate. Yes, I do want to bop along to Juvenile while eating bomb Italian thank you. This place seemed promising at first till I walked in. I gave it a chance but was completely disappointed. Music so loud I couldn't even talk to my wife, very few options of "pasta". My plate had at least 3 spoonfuls of pasta, but each bite tasted like pure salt and hard pasta and wasn't even hot, I confronted the waiter which led to talking to the manager, and before I could even say anything he disrespected me and said "just stop being a typical beaner and eat real food". Just horrible. Then proceeded to pay at the end and expected me to pay 30% tip. Sorry no thank you. I would avoid this place at all costs and just go to olive garden to save your self money and get some Taste out of something. Never trust hipster places. read more

Update: Just saw all the ludicrous threats the owner made to yelp reviewers that were less than 4 stars. Like I said the food isn't worth the price, the experience is mid, and there are better options out there. Unhinged and a grown child has a name and its Racan. Hopefully the owner is able to run this for longer then his previous ventures. I was super stoked to see them reopening after the last 2/3 year hiatus especially in downtown as I didn't know of any other great affordable quality pasta place in the area. With the rigatoni, cutlet and ricotta it came to about $30 in their new location; which to be honest I didn't feel like was at the right price point given their food truck days the pasta bowl was PACKED and cost about $20 with the cutlet; and in this case the portion was mid and the pasta was good but I could not tell much of a difference in quality from the food truck days other than the portion was much smaller. The cheesecake was divine though and the staff was very friendly and accommodating! Definitely a special occasion craving personally. Atmosphere wise I could dig the tattoo parlor lighting and pew seating vibe but the music is definitely as loud as they advertise. read more

Best Italian I've had here in phoenix! Not only was the food amazing but the place was pleasant on the eyes . Great for laid back business or to bring your date :) well done saint pasta ! Will be back read more

Great food and service! Delicious pasta, cooked to perfection. One of the best places I've eaten at for a long time. A must try!

Can I give more than five stars please? I have been following Saint Pasta since the days of their food truck and have been waiting to try the restaurant for a couple years, but was never able to get to the truck or restaurant. Tonight we had the chance to go. I knew what to expect with the music and the menu, I knew that you don't go there and be a dick because they have the right to be a dick back. I brought my husband who only knew of Saint Pasta through the jars of sauce I used to buy at Luci's and I told him, "This is kinda like a cult online," and I prepared him to know not to ask for anything different than what's on the menu, (like the soup Nazi from Seinfeld). So we went in knowing that it would be a particular vibe. And OMG what a vibe it was! We were greeted right away and had the opportunity to dine at the bar which was a show in itself! The level of attention the cooks give to each dish, from tossing a Caesar (which was tangy and so delicious!) to grating Parm on top of their famous chicken Parm! You can tell everyone cares about the food, the service and the vibe there. Lily was awesome, took our order, offered suggestions, kept our water filled. The bartender even stopped by to make sure we liked our drinks (Tito's Cosmo and a martini). We got the lemon buccatini and the OG chicken Parm after we devoured the Caesar (which is enough salad for 2-3 people!) Yes the music is loud, but it's part of the package and also, I loved that they played some Bieber and Action Johnson on the playlist. After my husband and I finished the last bite, he looked at me and said, "holy fuck that was good!" Go prepared and have fun. Prices were also not bad at all. I see some people complain about portion sizes but they're wrong! Chicken Parm as big as your face. Pasta dishes were not skimpy either! If you're looking for a vibey yummy Italian restaurant, Saint Pasta is the place! Thanks to all who made our first trip to SP an awesome experience! read more

Food was excellent, I enjoy a smaller menu. Sadly the beer that we wanted had just arrived and wasn't cold. The staff was very upfront with us and offered an alternative, which I appreciated because I think I would've hated a warm beer more than a different beer. read more

Food and service is incredible. I'm not kidding when I say I had the best garlic bread and caprese I've had in my life! The pasta is cooked PERFECTLY and the sauces are delicious. This place is smaller and quaint. So show up on non busy times if you want to avoid a long wait. There are no modifications of any kind. So if you're gonna need that, don't show up and write a dumb review complaining about it. If you don't like it, simply don't come and open up your own restaurant where you can do what you want. It's that simple. For normal people with normal sets of expectations, this place is a must! read more

Literally forget about it, this is the best place for pasta, ever. Let me first say though, the Caesar Salad should have you guys put in the food hall of fame. Never in my life have I said "that was a delicious salad" until I ate that masterpiece. Best salad I've ever had in my life. I didn't even get a picture of it because it was gone. Now the pasta, also on another level. Seriously this guy has to be joking with this much flavor. We tried 3 out of 4 of the dishes and they were fantastic. The chicken cutlet you could take home to your nonna. Of course with the cloud of ricotta on top!! Our server, I can't remember her name I'm sorry, but she was so kind and so gorgeous! I had to compliment her rings. Action Bronson was playing, the sun was setting, and we ate our locally made stracciatella cheesecake, and with that one of the best meals of my life was over. read more

This place was very yummy! I went in a group of three at dinner time, it was pretty busy but we were seated pretty quick. Two of us got the Vodka sauce pasta with chicken and one in our group got the pesto with chicken. As an appetizer we got the garlic bread. All the dishes and drinks were delicious. Inside was a little loud but outside was perfect if you want more of a relaxed dinner vibe. Pricey but the food was worth it. Would go again!! read more

Less than impressed. The food was good, but there were so many other things that did not make this experience worth it. My mom had been in contact via Instagram as they required reservations for a party of 6 or more. After some back and forth, we secured a reservation for my husband, two kids and my parents. We followed the recommendation of ordering according to the menu, small pasta portions, but chicken large enough to share. My kids are young, 4 and 6, so they don't eat a ton. We ordered a couple starters, two salads, a chicken dish to share and 3 pastas. My dad decided to order a fourth last minute as he saw the portion sizes were small. When the food arrived we were shocked as to how large the portions were. Long story short, they had us ordering from the family style menu, not ever mentioning to us that was the case. They nonchalantly left us with a $500 tab and not once mentioned how much food we were ordering or that we might not need that fourth dish because there was a lot already ordered. And really, it was only 4 adults, my kids eat very little. We spoke with the manager and he said, oh well I sent you the family style menu when we talked online. That was not the case and my mom went back through her messages to prove it. The manager did discount the bill slightly, but by no means made the situation right. Another reason I'll not be going back to this restaurant was the extremely loud music with vulgar profanity. We mentioned this to the manager on our way out and he said, yeah we've received that feedback before, but didn't really care. I guess they don't want to welcome families or many other groups that wouldn't appreciate that environment. The restaurant's don't give a rats attitude and rules about dining and eating will not get them very far. Lastly, we tried to resolve this with the restaurant as they requested before posting a review, but that got us nowhere. With all the great restaurants in Phoenix, this one I would skip entirely. Far better options outside of Saint Pasta. read more

Kinda want to leave a bad review just because the owners clap backs are almost as good as the food but I just can't. I was so bummed when they closed down the first time so when I learned they'd reopened I was all over it. Believe the hype. A few things to consider. Yes, it's more expensive than Olive Garden. Yes, you will probably spend 100+ bucks to enjoy yourself. And yes, it's worth the price. read more

I live in close proximity to this restaurant and am impressed that this place has full dining room, bar and patio every time I walk by. The two previous businesses ended up leaving. I don't eat much pasta at all, but I do get a craving every now and then. After a fun day of pickleball I wanted some comfort food and didn't want to travel far, so my friends and me decided to skip on over to Saint Pasta and see what all the fuss was about...now I know! The garlic, the olive oil, the vodka sauce the Cherry Hill-Billy cocktail were all outstanding! We were chilly on the patio and there was only 1 heater, but we all agreed it was worth it as there really aren't that many cold nights in Phoenix. Again, even in the chilly night air the patio was full and we saw tables turning over and people still waiting for one! The menu is still limited as Saint Pasta is still in soft open mode. I can't wait for some bread and salad and veggies to be added. I encourage foodies, pasta lovers and all the hip folks I know to patronize this locally owned gem. read more

This is the best pasta I've ever had in my life and I WILL fight you on this. I was finally able to make my way to its new restaurant location and as always, the food, service, people and vibes were amazing. They have always had the kindest employees and the pasta is always incredible and always consistent. Their chef is a master at his craft and as authentic as they come. I no longer live in Phoenix but have screamed from every place I've lived in since (yes, even NYC) that Saint Pasta in Phoenix is the best. read more

I know they rep al dente or die but my pasta was hard and VERY crunchy on the inside. Sauce was good but I had to request an extra side because it wasn't quite enough for the portion of noods they gave which is okay but also had to cover for the pasta. Service was slow per usual on busy Friday night, music was bumpin but to the point I could barely hear my date (awkward for a first date) but we went to an ice cream shop near by and were able to talk quite a bit there with a calmer atmosphere. Honestly my date suggested we go here because it was "raved" about on her socials but as a born and bred Jersey guy this place was equivalent to fizolies without the unlimited breadsticks. read more

Pasta worth breaking out of the hospital for! Listen, when you're fresh out of the hospital and dreaming of your first real meal, you better make it count. Saint Pasta didn't just count - it knocked it out of the park, across the street, and probably into the next zip code, probably all the way to haters on the internet. Let's talk about Racan, the Pasta Patron Saint himself. Despite having a packed house, this gem of a human being took time to stop by our table, remember us from the food truck days, and show genuine care about my recovery. In a world where kindness can be as rare as an unbroken piece of spaghetti, this meant everything. The spaghetti pomodoro with chicken cutlet and ricotta? Oh. My. Pasta. If there was a support group for people obsessed with this dish, I'd need to join immediately. The chicken was crispy perfection, the sauce was a symphony of flavors, and that ricotta? Let's just say I'm pretty sure angels make it themselves. But it may be devils because it has to be sin to be that good. And the cheesecake? Well, there may or may not have been a minor family feud over the last bite. I'm not saying I'm still giving side-eye to the person who snagged it, but... okay, yes I am. Worth noting: This might be the first time I've considered arm-wrestling a relative over dessert. The portions are generous enough that I had leftovers for the next day, which honestly felt like finding money in your pocket - except better, because it's pasta. The atmosphere inside is energetic and fun, with playlists that make you want to dance between bites (though I will need to wait a bit longer in my recovery for that). If you're looking for a quieter experience, the outdoor seating is your jam - though you'll miss out on the killer soundtrack. The entire team operates like a well-oiled machine, attentive and friendly throughout the meal. They've somehow managed to create that perfect sweet spot between casual comfort, speed, and exceptional dining that makes you want to come back again and again. Pro tip: If you're planning to share that cheesecake, maybe bring a referee. Just saying. In conclusion: Was this the perfect post-hospital meal? Absolutely. P.S. To the staff at Saint Pasta: Thank you for making a special moment even more memorable. You're not just serving food - you're serving joy, one perfectly crafted pasta dish at a time. #AldenteorDie read more

Saint pasta is a thing that twins teach each other. Simplicity with house noodles. Dressed with the hard earned reality of a hard earned day in the industry. The most splendid space to scarf noodles. Short: This place is okay. I would recommend trying it but ultimately think it's overpriced. Long: Portion size is small. For $26 my pasta better taste absolutely amazing but it was just okay. I'm sorry but peas in the vodka sauce did not go well. I thought I would be able to eat around them but they are huge. I definitely recommend the garlic and oil pasta. It's a unique dish more on the mild side of taste but not in a bad way. It would be perfect with a touch of parmesean cheese. Fresh parmesean cheese to be exact. Disappointed to not have that an option on my expensive pasta. The cheesecake was 10/10. Absolutely amazing worth every penny. Our waitress was super nice and friendly. I think she got busy though because we had to wait 15 mins to check out. Otherwise service/staff was good. The chicken tasted frozen. The meat had a weird translucent look to it. Not sure if it needed to be cooked longer? Music was loud inside but we sat outside where it wasn't a bother. It was $73 (before tip) for one coke, 2 pastas, and cheesecake. read more

Great vibe! The best chicken parm in the city and beyond! Great staff and really good drinks!

Unfortunately my experience was less than to be desired. Service was very slow, wait staff was kind and attentive so it's not their fault. It took 45 mins for food to come and was cold upon arrival. It's also very expensive, $20 for pasta and an additional almost $7 for protein. My boyfriend and I left hungry and with a huge bill. Food is good but slow service and small expensive portions. Would recommend going elsewhere if looking for quick service that fills you up read more

We saw this place online and thought we would give it a try. There is very limited seating and the music is very loud. I would not recommend coming here if you want to have a conversation with the people you're with. With the limited food options we expected our meals to be out of this world. The food took a while to come out and when it did we were very underwhelmed. The portions were very small for the price and the pasta dishes could easily be made at home with better flavor... The service was not the best either. Our server did not check in after we got our food and did not acknowledge us anytime we said thank you. Overall there are much better places you can go cheaper, bigger portions, and better food. read more
