I love Pomo! Their pizza is delicious. Neapolitan style. I've tried a few and their delicious. Decent happy hour specials for drinks and apps. We stopped by there on Fri and they had some Valentine's drink specials. My friend had the strawberry one and it was delicious. The bartenders there are always so friendly Love the vibe there.

Pomo Pizzeria in downtown Phoenix is so yummy! We had such a great experience at Pomo Pizzeria. Great, super friendly service. Yummy food, with so many options for everyone. On this particular night, we were a party of 4 and shared a bunch of stuff: Caesar salad, salami board, calamari, meatballs, zucchini chips, gnocchi, and a pizza. Everything was tasty and delicious, except the zucchini chips. I thought it was going to be more like actual friend zucchini, you know, nice and crispy. No, it was shaved zucchini and then deep fried. It tasted like burnt tissue paper...lol! Everything else though, YES PLEASE and THANK YOU!

I sent the email the business owner requested and received an error and a kickback message that the email address doesn't exist.

Great Italian Cusine with an amazing Happy Hour! Location: Located in downtown Phoenix, this location has indoor and outdoor seating. Parking: We are staying near by and walked a few blocks to get here. The walk was pretty easy, no super busy roads or crazy alley ways. There are parking lots nearby; however, I would recommend reading all signage. Not sure if they are owned by the restaurant. Ambiance: This place is a chill vibe and has a changing table, which tells me that it is welcoming to families and kid-friendly. Thank you Stefano for thinking about us families out there! Service: We got there a bit early and was greeted with a smile and a quick convo with a gentleman who was sweeping outdoors. We later walked in and had great chats with the young lady serving Gelato and Hannah behind the bar. She made some great recommendations for us. Food: We had the focaccia which was lovely and the meatballs. I will say, I am usually not a big fan of meatballs because they are mostly soggy, but this one was delish. We of course had to wash it down with a nice glass of wine. All of the above was on the HH menu! We went with a friend who is from Italy and he raved about the food. The Gelato... They have so many flavors and they are sooooo smooth and creamy! I had a hard time choosing which one I wanted because they were all so good! We plan to go back and try more of the menu!! Looking to get more of that great service and food!

Haven't been here in a year and decided to try the pasta instead of the pizza--lesson learned! The pasta was decent but chewy in spots, and the sauce lacked flavor. If you come here, definitely stick to the pizza--it's amazing! Steer clear of the pasta dishes very lackluster

Wow!!!! So at first I was not happy because of parking and I was ready to go somewhere else. So glad I decided to keep looking because this place is worth it. The staff amazing! Super friendly and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious. The dough was perfectly cooked and the ingredients were so fresh. The bread had the right amount of crunch to softness. This place is an absolute must try: everything was perfectly cooked and so good. Will definitely be back and try some of their other items. My husband said the Nutella torta (cake) was like a delicious brownie on steroids. He doesn't like Nutella but he couldn't stop eating this.

This place was absolutely wonderful. The parking was a bit troublesome, but that's normal for the area. Walking in, the decor definitely gave the fancy modern pizzeria feel. The service was great too, very prompt and quick. As for the food, I ordered the Pomo pizza thinking it would be good, figuring it has the name of the place on it. Extremely impressed, would definitely recommend this place if you're in the area and really want pizza

Popped in for a quick lunch. Order a few pies and the ricotta honey focaccia app. We sat outside on the patio to enjoy the weather. The food was excellent and came out fast and warm. Service was a little slow but all and all it was a good visit.

I've come here quite a lot for happy hour martinis after exam days. They have some of my favorite espresso martinis in town (the cannoli, specifically, is to die for). My favorite pizza is the nirvana which is a summer special . This location seems a little less updated than their Scottsdale location but overall it's still good.

This is a place where both their pizzas and pastas are made with absolute excellence. All of the pizzas are personal pizzas. My brother and I tried a pasta and a pizza and shared. The service was fairly good. What was a neat touch was that I let them know it was my birthday and they allowed me to have a free gelato. I loved how the pizza was packed full of ingredients. The pasta was fine tuned with amazing flavor. The gelato was smooth and creamy. Our bill for two came out to $55.79 (includes tax and tip). Finally, I noticed that most people were not paying the parking meters and according to the employees, those meters outside are never checked so consider it free public parking.

Exploring downtown Phoenix I came across Pomo. Decided to give it a go. The restaurant was packed so I was able to squeeze in at the bar. The staff was all friendly and the bartender was great at explaining the choices I had for dinner. I went with one of their pies and it was ok. I definitely needed some more ingredients for my tasting. I found myself leaving a lot of crust due to minimal cheese added to it. In the bites that did have a little sauce and cheese I did enjoy and were good. If I'd to come again I'd ask for some modifications.

Delicious Italian style pizza! Each pizza pie is sized for one person, but it is a big serving. The crust is amazing. The saucing is not heavy. I got the PoMo. The veggies were tender and flavorful. Fresh ingredients that burst with flavor in your mouth.

The Inferno pizza has my whole heart! It's my favorite pizza in all of AZ at the moment. If you like spicy, please try it. The salads are also good and fresh and I've had the fritto misto which was awesome. I think the crust here is immaculate. You cannot go wrong with Pomo - everyone I've ever brought here has loved it. The restaurant itself is cute. They have the big pizza oven by the bar area and a big patio for when it's nice out. Lots of parking by this location too. Delivery is always fast and you can order for pick up on their website.

The first thing that stands out is the massive, beautifully maintained outdoor seating area. It's covered, pet-friendly, and thoughtfully designed with fireplaces and privacy walls that give each table a more intimate feel. There's even an outdoor bar where you can grab a drink while you wait or just enjoy the atmosphere. Inside, the décor is incredibly creative. Butcher knives and custom cutting boards line the walls, and the open kitchen showcases hanging meats so you can see everything in action. The bakery area adds another layer of charm, with rolling pins and whisks hanging from the ceiling, it all feels intentional and immersive without being over the top. The menu is just as fun and different as the space itself. I started with the Sicilian wedge and then had to go for what they're known for, the handcrafted meatballs. You can mix and match meatballs with different pastas, but the real showstopper is the "meatball carousel." It lets you sample multiple meatballs with their recommended sauces, all presented on an elaborate Ferris wheel-style display that turns heads across the restaurant. It's a full experience, not just a meal. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious. What truly made the night, though, was our server, Mia. She struck that perfect balance of fun and professional, engaging, attentive, and genuinely enjoyable to interact with. She guided us through the menu, made great recommendations, and brought a level of energy that elevated the entire experience. You can tell she takes pride in what she does, and it shows. For dessert, we went with the traditional Sicilian cannoli stuffed with Nutella and a lemon tart that was so good I'd honestly consider flying back just to have it again. The only thing I was bummed about is that I love their marinara so much that I wanted to get the rigatoni with marinara as my side. However, they don't allow you to sub the sauce. It came with vodka sauce and I'm not a fan of that, so I opted for the side salad. Wish they'd allow you to sub the sauce. After dinner, we went next door to the Sicilian Baker and ordered an array of treats. Their tiramisu is a must! The setting does a lot of the work: a large, charming garden with plenty of outdoor seating that gives the whole place a cozy, almost village feel. The kitchen is usually the highlight. With an Italian chef behind it, everything leans fresh and well executed--pizzas consistently shine, and the salads are just as strong. This time, though, the bolognese was a miss. The pasta was clearly overcooked, which stood out given how reliable the food typically is--felt more like an off night than the norm. The wine-by-the-glass list is solid and approachable, and the many awards feel well deserved overall. A diverse staff adds to the cosmopolitan yet relaxed atmosphere. The outside tables were relatively comfortable when we ate here. They moved an umbrella over to block the setting sun for about 20 minutes, which was great. It looked like they had a musician tuning up her guitar but she had not started before we left. The menu featured selections of pastas, pizzas, and salads. We sampled 3 pizzas, all of which were good. As we were travelling and flying out the next morning, 2 of us split one, which was perfect for not having leftovers. The 4 in our group also sampled an appetizer composed of a fried rice ball with cheese. I was skeptical, but it was actually good. However, it's unfortunate that the outdoor seating is on such a busy traffic corner, so it's not the little retreat it would otherwise be. The lunchtime music was more like happy hour music, not conducive to conversation--maybe for the cellphones-at-the -table crowd it's okay, but being near the Phoenix Art Museum and Arizona Opera, why not add to the cultural experience of the area by celebrating its Italian origins with some Italian music? Even if just added as interludes during every few pieces, it would enhance the ambiance. We had to raise our voices to carry on our conversation, but it was manageable. However, when I came back the next week with a friend with a hearing impairment, it became more problematic. She tried adjusting her hearing aids, but the thumping rhythm kept taking precedence as we tried to find a quieter corner, but it wasn't possible as it is a small space and speakers were close to each table. I felt so bad that she couldn't enjoy a meal there--we both were so looking forward to having a fresh pasta dish, but just couldn't stay. Upon leaving, I felt I should let management know why so I waited to speak to him, offering constructive criticism about the sound level but he was not the least apologetic nor said he would take it under advisement, but was completely dismissive and harrumphy as though we were annoying problems and not potential regulars with suggestions worthy of consideration. How hard would it be to have a quieter area or make a speaker accessible with volume control? People, whether on the spectrum, with hearing impairments, or just lovers of good conversation deserve respect and when it is not given, will go elsewhere....
