I had high hopes for this place. Maybe I should I order something else. We tried it for the first time. I would try it again but something else. We got the Tuna sandwich and it tasted more like sardines and was super super dry! Would not recommend. I got the Italian combo and the inside of the sandwich was great but the bread was sooooooo hard!! Cut the roof of your mouth hard. Very hard to eat. They both came with a cabbage salad on the side that was good Lastly my friend also got the side salad which seemed very plain but the dressing was very tasty kinda saved the lunch.

Porchetta Sandwich

If you haven't had the porchetta sandwich, you have never lived. This is my top 3 sandwiches in Phoenix. The creamy, cold, greens cuts through the richness of the pork. The sandwich is messy. Ask my extra napkins.

The original of the Pizzeria Bianco chain. Although I have seen this at The Row in DTLA, my first experience is at this Central Phoenix location during a work trip. We had an opportunity to meet Chris Bianco as well, which was how we learned this was the first location. Their lunch menu was really simple, and parking was not too bad. We got here right around when it opened, and there were already parties sitting at the tables. I ordered the pepperoni al taglio since one of my former bosses told me the pizza was amazing at the DTLA location. The portions of the food were really great for the price point. I ordered a second pepperoni al taglio as I was famished. The second one I ordered felt overbaked compared to the first one, unfortunately. They can get really busy in a matter of minutes. Service was friendly though not the fastest. It was a great lunch spot in the middle of the work day.

Pane Bianco is one of my go to sandwich places in the valley. Everything on the menu is great and they use fresh local ingredients which really shows in the quality of the food. I've eaten here for a sit down lunch or also a quick takeout but am always treated great by the staff. I'm looking forward to coming back here and trying something new off the menu!

Tried out Pane Bianco for a late Friday lunch excited to taste the highly rated focaccia bread. This restaurant is situated right next to Lux so parking is tight. I was able to snag some street parking but make sure you heed any signage. Pane Bianco is a casual indoor/outdoor restaurant and the winter weather was cause for the entry door to be pulled open. The climate was pleasant, but there were more than a few bugs buzzing around. We ordered the albacore tuna salad sandwich and the mozzarella sandwich. The foccacia was incredible - nicely toasted and flavorful. If I were to go again, I'd pass on the tuna. It was bland and overall missable. The mozzarella was as fresh as the bread but the prosciutto left something to be desired. Overall this a fun spot for a casual meal; it might be more of a takeout spot. If you'd rather make your own sandwich, you can purchase bread at the counter.

Had lunch at Pane Bianco yesterday and really enjoyed it! I ordered the tuna salad and it was plentiful for the price. I really liked the rustic and home-y ambience of the restaurant. It had a unique vibe to interior design. The fresh bread was also awesome.

Nothing beats their fresh mozzarella sandwich served before 3pm. And trust me you'll always crave it after 3 and be disappointed haha. The focaccia bread is scrumptious and it has the right amount of cold thick mozzarella and tomato piled on. Wrapped in paper and aiming to please! You have to try it!! In over a decade, this recipe has only seemingly gotten tastier!

Had an awesome experience at Pane Bianco. AJ took my order and couldn't have been more professional--he pointed me toward the pizza, and honestly, great call. They cranked it out fast, and the result was this gorgeous wood-fired pie with a bottom crust that honestly feels like something people dream about. I'm 100% coming back. The whole place just has this super welcoming, calm energy, and I knew the second I walked in that the food was gonna hit.

Really liked the food that we got. The square pizza (Al Taglio) was bomb and the green pizza was also really good. The bread on the sandwiches had the perfect chew to it and made the prime rib sandwich for me. I saw people just buying bread to go. I think it's advertised as a sandwich spot but I will remember the pizza!

Very Homey Ambience. Immediately greeted upon entry. It's a very small and quaint place but the food is and customer service is hospitable and amazing! Definitely will be back with a large group, as my first try is a solo act. I plan on getting a in-depth taste of the menu!

First time here was really impressed. Strangely, the chicken dish was the standout. Whatever they did to it was amazing, it somehow tasted like smoked ham, and came with delicious sides and sauces. A good value for the price. The pizza was good, maybe a bit dry for my taste? Light on the sauce. But that's me nitpicking. Would def return.

The first thing that stands out is the massive, beautifully maintained outdoor seating area. It's covered, pet-friendly, and thoughtfully designed with fireplaces and privacy walls that give each table a more intimate feel. There's even an outdoor bar where you can grab a drink while you wait or just enjoy the atmosphere. Inside, the décor is incredibly creative. Butcher knives and custom cutting boards line the walls, and the open kitchen showcases hanging meats so you can see everything in action. The bakery area adds another layer of charm, with rolling pins and whisks hanging from the ceiling, it all feels intentional and immersive without being over the top. The menu is just as fun and different as the space itself. I started with the Sicilian wedge and then had to go for what they're known for, the handcrafted meatballs. You can mix and match meatballs with different pastas, but the real showstopper is the "meatball carousel." It lets you sample multiple meatballs with their recommended sauces, all presented on an elaborate Ferris wheel-style display that turns heads across the restaurant. It's a full experience, not just a meal. Everything we tried was absolutely delicious. What truly made the night, though, was our server, Mia. She struck that perfect balance of fun and professional, engaging, attentive, and genuinely enjoyable to interact with. After dinner, we went next door to the Sicilian Baker and ordered an array of treats. Their tiramisu is a must! I've had it twice now and it's some of the best tiramisu I've had (topping even slices I've had in Rome!). The girls helping us were Riley and Tatum and they were very helpful. It looked like they had a musician tuning up her guitar but she had not started before we left. The menu featured selections of pastas, pizzas, and salads. We sampled 3 pizzas, all of which were good. As we were travelling and flying out the next morning, 2 of us split one, which was perfect for not having leftovers. The 4 in our group also sampled an appetizer composed of a fried rice ball with cheese. I was skeptical, but it was actually good. Parking is on-street, as there did not appear to be a dedicated lot for the restaurant itself. It was a busy area, but we did end up finding some spaces about a block and a half away in a residential area. I would definitely be up for another meal here.

The service was just as amazing, friendly, attentive, and welcoming, and the food was just as fresh and delicious. Prices are still super reasonable, which makes it an even better go-to. How hard would it be to have a quieter area or make a speaker accessible with volume control? People, whether on the spectrum, with hearing impairments, or just lovers of good conversation deserve respect and when it is not given, will go elsewhere....
