Trevor's a fun pizzeria/bar/liquor store in Arcadia. It's a great place to grab some pizza and watch a game. They even have some arcade games and couches set up in the back to hangout. Service is fast and friendly. We were seated right away but it was very full. Cocktails were delicious. The Sicilian old fashioned is amazing. I will definitely bring going back just for that. Dave Portnoy is trippin'. This is not the best pizza in Arizona. Don't get me wrong, it's good. Fresh out of the oven, the flavor is really good. I'd probably give it a 7.4 on the Portnoy scale. My problem is the crust. Unless you're absolutely starving and crush the whole pizza right away, the crust gets super hard. Not crispy. Not airy with a little crunch. Hard. Not too long ago some guy on the internet gave Trevor's a high score on his pizza review and from that point Trevor's never looked back. Does it hold up the hype? First off, the space at Trevor's Arcadia is great. Ample seating that's part lounge and sports bar. It also boasts one of the better to go craft beer and wine selections in the areas. So if you're looking for takeout, make sure to check it out. The service here was top notch. Everyone checked in frequently and helped me with my order. I ordered spicy diavola. The jalepenos were properly spicy and the Calabrian chiles contributed to the heat level which I enjoyed. The best part of the pizza was the crust. It was perfectly crunchy, and a little chewy. I originally stopped in on a Saturday afternoon to sample a whiskey that was being promoted by a distributor. I didn't realize this location had a full kitchen and was known for its pizza. I wasn't in the mood for pizza, so Christina suggested the Meatball Sub. It ended up being a great recommendation. The sandwich had a lot of flavor and stood out from a standard meatball sub thanks to the crunchy sesame bread, flavorful tomato sauce, spicy giardiniera, and fresh basil. And on top of that since it's Trevor's, you can shop around the store as well. Both times I've been here, it's been pretty busy so that's just something to be aware of, there could be a wait for the dining area. If it's your first time at Trevor's, it's a great liquor store with multiple locations. I live closest to the south Scottsdale one. I come to this location typically after going to Undertow across the street. There's a large parking lot for Trevor's and the other businesses in that plaza, however it can get busy. I first discovered Trevor's close to two years ago after Dave Portnoy from Barstool gave a high rating for their pizza compared to other pizza spots in the area, as I'm always on the hunt for good pizza. I waited for a bit for the hype to die down, and finally tried it out. It's so good that it's become one of my favorites and I usually bring people from out of town in here to try their pizza. Love their imported wood oven from Italy, it really does cook the pizzas quite well, especially the large sized ones as I find the smaller ones cheese tends to pool in the middle. Plus, it's cool to see a huge liquor store set up as a restaurant on the side of it. I've been in this location multiple times over the years and they're usually pretty consistent with their pizza. Overall the pizza and salad were good but not anything incredible, especially for the price. The beets didn't do much for the salad dish and could be swapped for a citrus. The pizza came out steaming hot but they said they had no utensils to grab it like a spatula and we had to use our hands so we waited for it to cool down. The pizza was okay but nothing special for a $33 pizza. We got the better than ranch sauce for $1 and we'd rather just do regular ranch next time, if they offer it. We've been dying to try this spot and went on the Tuesday before New Year's Eve and no surprise, it was absolutely slammed. Since they don't take reservations, we waited at the bar and had a drink. The bartenders were quick, friendly, and made excellent craft cocktails. We tried the Sicilian Old Fashioned and were genuinely blown away by the depth of flavor. Unfortunately, that's where the strong service ended. There were three open tables for about 15 minutes with no one else waiting, yet we weren't seated until we went back up to the host to ask; at which point we were seated immediately. Once at the table, we waited another 15 minutes before seeing a server and again had to check in with the host. When our server did arrive, the experience didn't improve. She came across as rude, took about 10 minutes to bring a bottle of wine we ordered, and didn't offer a taste before pouring. The service remained inattentive throughout the meal. That said, the food completely redeemed the experience. We loved everything we ate. The Caesar salad was crisp, fresh, and perfectly tangy. We then ordered the white sausage and spicy pepperoni pizzas in the large size and they were MASSIVE. The ingredients were fresh, the sauce was delicious, and the prices felt very reasonable for the quality and portion size. Despite the service issues, the food alone will bring us back. Hopefully next time the front-of-house experience matches how good the kitchen clearly is. read more

I've been meaning to try this place and finally had a chance to last weekend. A group of 8 of us arrived on a Saturday evening and it was packed. We waited for a good 45 min - 1 hr until we were seated. We ordered drinks at the bar and walked around the the spacious store. The hostess even gave us a 10% coupon on all retail purchases, which was nice. The retail area has a bar where you can sample some of the liquor that they offer, which is pretty neat. We ordered a salad and pizzas to share. I like that Trevor's offers 2 sizes, an 11" or 18". We ordered the 18" of the trevor's combo, proscuitto, and double pep. The chopped salad was delicious. I particularly loved the crispy chickpeas which added more texture. The pizzas were gigantic and incredible. I loved both the trevor's combo and proscuitto! We definitely had leftovers. Another one book marked and experienced! This spot is good for a casual night out. It's very different with a liquor store and a cigar bar all in one place. The liquor store has all sorts of things that you don't normally see and it was beautifully arranged. Clean Restaurant section; It is all about sitting at the bar and the tables that surround the bar. Interesting cocktails and intriguing mixtures. Limited menu, but everything we had was delicious. Great caesar salad (split the large portion) and a the Trevor's combo with the Calabrian Chili Relish is a must! It was presented nicely, a liitle greasy but did appreciate that thin crust with solid toppings. Get the Roasted Garlic & Parmesan Dipping Sauce to dip! Good beer list. My wife and I put in a to go order of a pizza and salad. We were told it would be 30 minutes since it was a busy night. We shopped around and once we found some wine, I sat in the chairs and waited... and waited.... And waited. I saw pizzas be brought to the front, but there was no acknowledgment of who it was for. In the meantime, four receptionist talked and jabbered about their plans for the rest of this weekend while I sat and waited for my pizza. Even the manager asked what my name was, but never actually checked any of the orders. I finally asked someone to check for me if the pizza is at the front desk. I've heard about this place for years and know this is a staple of the Arcadia neighborhood. This place is always busy and they don't take reservations for smaller parties, just be aware of that- but the wait is 100% worth it. The good news is that this restaurant is also a giant liquor store, so there is plenty to space to explore as you wait for your table. There is a solid draft and cocktail menu, but they are most known for their pizza. I highly recommend their Blood Orange Blonde on draft. We ordered the house salad to start and it was very freshly prepared. We ordered the White Sausage pizza and Trevor's Combo pizza with ranch and honey on the side. Both pizzas were jam packed with great flavor combos. I really liked the white sauce on the White Sausage pizza and the chili relish as the topper on the Trevor's combo. Stopped by on Saturday for some dinner along with 500 other people. This place was super busy but we decided to wait it out. The hostess was very nice and got me checked in and estimated an hour wait. We stood there to the side of the host stand and people watched. The bar was handing out popcorn and displaying some High Noon's. Made a quick visit to the bathroom and the bathroom was very clean. It was decorated nicely and then even had a candle lit. The hour went by pretty quickly and we were finally seated. The friendly server came over after a few minutes and took our orders. We ordered: One order of bruschetta One Caesar salad One white pizza with sausage The order of meatballs were given to us unexpectedly by a different server, which we thought was nice. (He said the kitchen had made an extra order and he wanted to give it to us) They were delicious, super flavorful, and topped off with some red sauce and cheese. The food was all yummy. I loved the salad and how fresh and crunchy it was. The dressing was already mixed in and it was the perfect amount. The bruschetta was also really good and my friend said it was her favorite of the night. The pizza was hot and super cheesy when served and it had the right amount of sauce and toppings. First shout out to the bartenders! Our girl I wish I had her name was amazing. The drinks were 11 out of 10! I'm super indecisive and she created some cucumber egg white drink. Don't know what it was but super refreshing and it hit. We did order a white sausage pizza and the bacon on it was delicious. We did not take pictures of that because we ate it fairly quickly. All in all a great time in the Arcadia location would go back also because of this location, we will be trying the old town location with some coworkers when they come into town in a couple weeks. I've been recently disappointed by several pizza restaurants, but Trevor's lived up to my expectations and was very good all the way around! First, I thought the restaurant was unique. I thought it was kind of fun that it's in the liquor store, which, as an aside, has a wide selection of (high quality) liquors. We ordered wine, a large Caesar salad, the Trevor's Combo (with no cheese), and the White Sausage pizza. The Caesar salad was one of the best I've had in a while! It was definitely a large serving size (great for sharing); the dressing had a strong but not anchovy flavor, and it was creamy without being caked on; and I liked the large parmesan flakes on top. I thought both pizzas were delicious. The crust was crisp on the outside but not crunchy or burnt, and the inner part of the pizza was thin but not enough to fall apart or flop under the toppings. The Trevor's Combo had a generous amount of meat toppings compared to other places that have a carne or some sort of equivalent, and I loved the balance of the spicy sausage and onions on the White Sausage pizza. The latter is a must try! I personally prefer the crust a little fluffier, but the flavor in the pizzas made up for it. Lastly, our service was good. Our waitress was always accessible but didn't check in too much. We also got the wine, salad and one of the pizzas on a special, so overall this was a fantastic deal price-wise! read more
