Angie was an amazing server and made us feel truly valued as loyal Trevor's customers. We've visited several Trevor's locations, but this Scottsdale location continues to be one of my favorites. We sat outside under the misters, and as the afternoon started heating up, Angie was quick with recommendations, attentive service, and knowledgeable suggestions. Her friendly personality and attention to detail made our entire family feel welcome and well cared for. One of the things I love most about this location is how spacious it is. It's always lively and bustling without feeling crowded. The golf simulators, lounge areas, cigar lounge, and thoughtfully designed spaces throughout the restaurant give guests the option to create whatever experience they're looking for, whether it's a casual meal, drinks with friends, or a more relaxed evening out. I brought family visiting from New York after a day at C2 Tactical, and everyone had a fantastic time. Our table enjoyed a cheese pizza, a build-your-own veggie pizza, a pepperoni pizza, the Caprese sandwich, another delicious sandwich that disappeared too quickly for me to remember the name, and a Caesar salad. We also enjoyed a few glasses of wine, some martinis, and mocktails for the kids. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. What really stood out was the exceptional hospitality from start to finish. The hostesses were warm and welcoming, our food runners were friendly and efficient, and even our stop in the attached liquor store was a great experience. We picked up a few bottles of wine on our way out, and the gentleman at checkout was incredibly kind, patient, and personable. Overall, this was a fantastic experience from beginning to end. I've been intrigued by Trevor's for a while now, so when I found myself in the area for an event on a weeknight, I took the opportunity to finally try Trevor's. The event ended after 9 but thankfully, Trevor's is open until 10. I ordered a large mushroom pizza ($31) through their website and came by 30 minutes later to pick it up. Even though it was close to 10 pm, Trevor's was still busy and lively. I walked up to the hostess stand, mentioned my name and order and the friendly hostess had it ready for me. I had a long drive home, but couldn't wait, so I snuck a few bites on my way home. The mushroom pizza came with roasted mushrooms, roasted garlic, and fresh basil. Simple yet delicious. Trevor's has a great selection of liquor and wine. I tried two old fashioned cocktails during this visit. The Dark Manhattan Nights ($17) was way too sweet. The Sonoran Old Fashioned ($17) was much stronger and tasted way better. The service was great and very friendly, and the inside of the restaurant is nice and lively. Beautiful, spacious pizzeria with a great vibe. There's a large bar (around 18 seats), indoor seating with a golf simulator, and really lovely outdoor seating. We were a group of three and sat outside around 3 pm - Arizona weather honestly couldn't have been better. We ordered two 11-inch pizzas (6 slices each). One was the seasonal veggie with house-made mozzarella, ricotta, cherry tomatoes, roasted fennel, wood-fired onions, and fresh arugula. We added a side of chicken separately (they don't offer chicken as a pizza topping, which was the only small downside for me since I don't eat other meats). The second pizza was Trevor's Combo (spicy soppressata, spicy Italian sausage, pepperoni, Calabrian chili relish, and red sauce) Both pizzas were solid - 8/10. Drinks were excellent. The Sicilian Old Fashioned was a clear 10/10, and the Fresh Draught Beer No. 22 was light, fresh, and very easy to drink. Our total came to $93, which is a bit on the pricier side, but the overall experience made up for it. Definitely one of the better pizza spots I've tried and worth a visit, especially if you enjoy good drinks and a relaxed outdoor setting. read more

I finally visited Trevor's Liquor with my friends on a Saturday night, and I had a really fun experience. Upon entering, you immediately see the store side with a large selection of different alcohol. The whiskey room was fun to explore, and when I went to the beer section, I was over the moon to find the Czech beer I've been searching for! I couldn't find it online anywhere, so I'm so glad Trevor's carries it. I was able to keep our beverages, though I had to leave the opened box/cans of beer at the counter while enjoying them at the restaurant/bar side. I ordered the Spicy Diavola pizza. The pizza was good, but extremely salty, which was a bit of a bummer. The "Better than Ranch" was good. My friend ordered a charcuterie board, which was good, and the Purple Drank cocktail was tasty as well. Overall, it was a fun spot with great drinks and a unique atmosphere. I'd definitely return to try more beverages and food, though I might skip the Diavola pizza next time or ask for it less salty. read more

I started with the house salad sub goat cheese instead of mozzarella and add beets, it's delicious! Excellent, excellent pizza in Phoenix! Lives up to the hype (ie the high score on Portnoy's rating. Not to mention the service and care of the establishment. We placed a to-go order and accidentally put in the wrong pick-up time (way later than intended). The individual on the phone spent about 20mins with me troubleshooting the problem and ensuring it'd actually be ready on-time instead. I just wish they had a kids menu with options for the little picky eaters. Parking lot at this location is large and easy to find parking. It's been a while since I've been to Trevor's and just like every visit before it never disappoints. Friendly staff and such a great atmosphere! They have lots of TV's and had the US Open tennis match on, which was great! Their cocktail menu has everything and their pizzas are amazing!!! The crust is crispy yet soft. It's slightly charred with that wood fired aroma from the pizza oven, perfection! My friend and I ordered a bottle of wine and shared the White Sausage Pizza, with parmesan, spicy sausage, roasted white onions, and rosemary. We had them put sausage on one side and then add roasted mushrooms on the other to make that side vegetarian, it was delicious! We also ordered a side of "Better than Ranch" dipping sauce. It's homemade garlic parmesan sauce, not ranch, so the name is very accurate! Love dipping the pizza crust in that garlic sauce, yum! I checked out Trevor's Liquor on Mayo for a networking event on a Tuesday afternoon. Located in a busy shopping center, I found a spot in the complimentary lot. Trevor's is a unique place and I'm a big fan. Ambiance (4.5/5): Think part bar, part restaurant, and part liquor store. For my visit, I started out at a table on the patio. We were close to the open-air bar and they were showing the NBA playoffs, which was a nice touch. There's also comfortable seating inside, including some chairs away from the hustle and bustle of the main dining area and bar. They also have golf simulators and a cigar lounge. It's an awesome spot and larger than I expected. Service (4/5): We had a large group, 12 people or so, and our waitress did a good job taking care of us. She was friendly, and while I had to grab her attention a few times, it's tough to take care of a large group. Drinks (5/5): Trevor's has a full bar. One of the primary ways I judge an establishment's offerings is its cocktail list. Trevor's has a great one. You'll see 15 or so craft cocktails incorporating creative ingredients and garnishes. My second cocktail of the evening, and my favorite one, was the Oaxacan sun, which has mezcal as its base. A lot of the offerings on the menu looked great. And after you're done at the restaurant/bar, check out their liquor store. Think of it as a smaller Total Wine. I bought a mix-and-match six-pack of beer. You'll find some rare craft and European beers and you get 10% off six or more, which is nice. Food (4/5): I went with a small double pepp pizza. Trevor's is known for its pizza and it didn't disappoint. I love pepperoni, so why not double it. They also have a hilarious option where you can get a large cheese pizza and two High Noons. I have to do it at some point. I'd say the pizza is about a 7/10. I could use a little more grease, but that's part of what I like when it comes to pizza. There are so many styles of pizza and we all have our personal preferences. We also had a Bourbon tasting but I skipped out because I'm not a Bourbon guy. There's a lot to love at Trevor's. Absolutely terrible service. Our original server was great--we cashed out properly and decided to finish our pizza and drinks at the bar for better seating to watch the game. The bar was completely empty, staffed with three bartenders and two barbacks, yet once they realized we had already eaten, we were basically invisible. We told the bartenders multiple times that we wanted to order more drinks and dessert. No one checked back. No one took our order. Instead, they all stood grouped up at the end of the bar doing nothing. When new customers came in, we tried again to get service and were told, "Let me check with the new customers first." That still didn't result in us getting helped--at all. It took asking four times just to get a pizza box to go. I eventually tried grabbing one myself from behind the bar. Only then did they suddenly rush over, give us boxes, and finally ask if we needed anything else. This place sucked. The service was awful, and the bartenders working on 2/19 were rude, lazy, and clearly uninterested in doing their jobs. Save yourself the frustration--go across the street to Buck & Rider for the same price point and a great happy hour, or head to Trevor's on Cactus and Tatum instead. We spent another $100+ there, watched the game, and received excellent service. If you need anything at Trevor's Liquor at this location , plan on doing it yourself. First visit was 2pm on a Tuesday and things were great & I really want to love this place BUUUTT after my second ....It is incredibly difficult. Id like to start with the positives, it's an awesome liquor store with great selection & amazing educated liquor stewards! Food quality is excellent and the efficient friendly food runner (I should have gotten his name) kinda made up for Katelyn's bad service. However, that being said we arrived at 6pm on a random Thursday (no football or sports playoffs) we had a party of 3 and were told it would be about 30-35mins. 1 hour 5mins later I check with the hostesses & with a surprised look (I think we were forgotten) she tells me it will be a few more minutes, we can see an empty 4 top from the hostess stand?? I go back outside & wait another 5 mins for my text. Lesson here is DO NOT go there between 6 and 7 PM. We get seated our waitress Katelyn comes over & we order drinks and food immediately since we know what we want, we are hungry & we have been looking at the menu while we were waiting.... I would say everything came out fine with the exception of the pizzas coming out 10 mins apart (somehow forgotten & unnoticed by the server) the food runner did a good job & even had to bring the silverware our server neglected to give us. Once we ordered we never saw our server again, except when she came by once to ask "are things still going amazing here" what?? When did you even ask? Next thing we know she delivers the check.... I guess I didn't want anything else?!? We were interested in more drinks and desert but not anymore. I was really looking forward to my 2nd visit and we brought our friend after telling them the place was really good but tonight it was disappointing. Honestly, I felt like twice tonight we were forgotten, then to be shooed out the door?!? Kinda ruined it for us... in fairness I did notice a lot of lingering tables that weren't ordering anything more & I get the need to turn tables but we weren't even asked if "we needed anything else" and after an hour wait we weren't even there for an hour. It was a lot of build up for meh. Again I don't know that we will return and if you decide to give them a try for dining go at an off time.
