Came here for a last-minute dinner with six people and was pleasantly surprised the location is so beautiful inside. I'll be back here for sure!!!

Service was great! She indicated the food was made fresh in house each day. Pizza and meatballs were really good, Cacio e Pepe was good but not my favorite.

    Our dessert..so good.

We had a terrific time at EVO with their pizza and bottle of wine special. The restaurant is beautiful and the service staff is very attentive. Our server Mitzi was outstanding as well as everyone at the restaurant. Highly recommended.

Went to this EVO location for a birthday dinner and had an excellent experience from start to finish! The atmosphere of the place was great, with dim lighting with a low-key, elegant (but not too elegant!) vibe to it. The staff was incredibly friendly and prompt, and they went the extra mile by bringing out a complimentary birthday dessert, which was a really nice touch. Highly recommend their tiramisu! For dinner, I ordered the chicken piccata, and it was fantastic. While I've been to the Old Town location before, this was my first time at this location, and it definitely did not disappoint. Highly recommend this place for a date night, celebration, or any nice night out!

Came by on a Monday evening at 6pm. We had reservations, but there were plenty of tables available. Was promptly seated by the hostess, however, it took quite awhile (15 mins) for our waiter to come take our order. Once he did stop by, the service was good thereafter. Modern and upscale decor and lighting made for a nice vibe. The menu had numerous good options to choose from. Luckily, we made it before the end of happy hour so we were able to snag a few items off that menu as well. We ordered way too much and our appetizers barely fit on the table. Our favorites were the Arancini, Bruschetta Trio, Charred Octopus, and the Whipped Feta Dip. Our Mains were the Lobster Gnocchi and the Chicken Alfredo. Both were decent, but I would place the Lobster Gnocchi slightly higher on taste. Overall, a good meal and good drinks. Wouldn't hesitate to come back for another run.

I want to try this restaurant because I was craving pasta out of town. I was excited to try the whipped feta since the waiter told me it was a popular dish. I did enjoy it with the bread, but the apple slices were a bit brown when the dish made it to the table. The lobster and shrimp tortellini was delicious. The sauce was very creamy and I could definitely taste the lobster pieces. I ended the meal with the butter cake. I don't think it needed the fruit garnish, but the cake was amazing and everything I expect for butter cake. Great end to the meal!

This place was recommended to me by a co-worker and it was a great rec. I ordered to go and it was ready when I arrived. The place was bustling and I'll be excited to eat in eventually. I ordered the chili shrimp pasta. The pasta was fresh and cooked perfectly. The pasta had so much flavor - it was delicious!! There were really big pieces of shrimp in it as well. The hostess that helped me was super friendly too!!

Who knew that this was a late night spot?? All the happenings was going down when I visited. To my surprise, the kitchen was still open after I walked it at 11p. on a Saturday. the staff was amazing. We were seated promptly, but the bar was truly vibing. The drinks were perfectly preparing and the food hit the spot. Accessible parking and entrance.

Cozy atmosphere, great cocktails, and yummy pizza and pasta. Tried the whipped feta, Burrata salad, fennel sausage pasta, and pepperoni pizza -- they were all delicious! Service is friendly and attentive without feeling rushed. Perfect spot for date night or a casual dinner with friends. Highly recommend!

Great find. I was looking for something different. Evo has a cool vibe and did not disappoint. I was greeted and seated promptly. Bianca provided world class service. The Italian salad was the perfect starter to my homemade fennel sausage pasta. If you are in the north Scottsdale area and want a great meal, check this place out. You won't be disappointed.

I celebrated my 70th birthday at EBL last night with 11 of my family members. The service the food the ambience was all truly amazing! Bobby Miller, the general manager knocked it out of the park and our server ( and I'm so sorry I can't remember her name, but I'll blame it on my age) was equally superb! We will definitely be back and I can't wait to dig into my leftovers. Thank you for making my birthday amazing

The meal was solid ,but at first service was slow starting. The waiter was really nice. We asked what the specials were and 20 minutes later were told they were already sold out of all specials. They only Opened 30 minutes ago so tha was disappointing. Appetizers we had the meatballs , bread service and frito misto. Entrees we had the braised short ribs, lasagna, chicken parm , and And two pizzas. The fungi pizza really lacked any favor or season . The pepperoni pizza was phenomenal. The Buttercake was a great way to end the night .

Went to EVO on Monday during happy hour (4-6pm). Ambiance is good, felt a little dark though. But that does give a good feel. Being a vegetarian my choices are limited in the happy hour menu. So ordered whipped feta dip, margherita pizza, arancini and butter cake. I noticed almost everyone who is in the restaurant is trying the feta dip. Overall all of them are fantastic except pizza which is still decent. Service is excellent. Will definitely recommend.

We made our way down the stairs and the hostess was there ready to check us in. We didn't wait at all and got seated right away. Once seated it took a while for the server to come take our order. There was live music going on which kept us entertained for the time being. After about 15 minutes, she finally came over to greet us and take our drink orders. We ordered: 1 WILD STRAWBABY - Ocho Blanco Tequila, Bergamot, Strawberry, Pineapple, Lemon, Almond Milk $22 1 50 FIRST DATES - Bumbu Rum, Cascara, Brown Sugar Date Syrup, Coconut Milk, Cinnamon Sprinkle $22 1 BLUEBERRY MULE - Blueberry, Lime, Ginger Beer $13 The drinks didn't take too long and another bartender dropped them off. Water was never offered to us and was only given to us after we asked. All the other tables were given water once they were seated. Our drinks were good but we chose to just have one each and we left. The live music was great. The musician was playing the piano and kept it fun and upbeat. The inside is pretty cool and unique but service could've definitely been better though. *There's a $10 cover fee per person when there is live music*

It tries to be those things and fails in all. The layout: It's a long narrow room. The stage is on the smaller far end. The tables are arranged going back along the long direction. If you're sitting more than halfway back you'll be disappointed in the seating. In the back are high-top tables which are very small. The "bar" is along the long wall. The "restaurant" is catered food ( I don't think the venue has a kitchen). It's arranged buffet style on portable tables in the lobby. You go in a line and chose your dinner and they hand it to you in a plastic to-go container. You eat at your table and then bus your leftovers and trash to the trash can. There is no wait service. Just like eating at a fast food restaurant. If your sitting at a small high-top table there's not enough room for more than two people to eat. You'll be seated with strangers and they'll be right in your face as you eat. The "bar" only has beer and wine for alcohol. Or you could get a canned mixed drink. Stand in line and wait your turn at the end of the bar. The bar seats are reserved for the show. Remember no wait service. So if you want a drink during the show you have to go to the bar. Music was not Jazz. Very slow, boring folk. The crowd was 70+ year olds. And they charge for this experience? Won't be going back.

The Living Room at DC Ranch is such a comfortable, casual place for Happy Hour, dinner, wine and…read moredrinks. The name really fits because there are several different seating areas, including cozy groupings with soft couches and chairs, traditional dining tables, bar seating and an outdoor patio. There is also a separate larger room that looked great for groups. It's nice enough for a fun night out or date night, but the overall feel is relaxed and casual, so you definitely don't need to dress up. We went for a girls' Happy Hour, specifically because the Wine Wall sounded like so much fun, but one of the things I really liked about The Living Room is that you absolutely don't have to be a wine drinker to enjoy it. They also have a reasonable, well rounded menu and signature drinks. Happy Hour is weekdays from 3-6 PM. The menu offers $2 off wines by the glass, draft beers, signature and well cocktails, as well as the bruschetta and flatbreads. So one person could come for wine and bruschetta, and someone else could enjoy a beer with flatbread, or have something from the regular menu. There are salads, soups, sandwiches, sushi rolls, food from the grillI, and starters. We first shared the Artichoke Spinach Dip. I feel like the dip is a portion for one, as you can see in my photo; it's in a small ramekin, but the chips are fantastic and sharable. I had the "fried rice with steak, chicken and shrimp topped with a fried egg." The "steak" was tiny little pieces, not slices, but the portion of fried rice was very generous and filling. It's a "Starter" that was a "meal" for me. I was pleasantly surprised by how reasonable the food prices are. Now for the Wine Wall, because this is such a fun part of the experience! You're given a Tasting Card that works somewhat like a debit card for the Wine Wall. You tap the card at the WineStation, choose the wine you want and then select a 1 oz, 3 oz or 6 oz pour. Each wine and pour size has its own price, and every selection is added to your Tasting Card. At the end, the accumulated amount is transferred to your restaurant check as one "Wine Wall" charge. Our server was wonderful about showing us how everything worked. He walked us over to the Wine Wall, explained the system and dispensed our first glasses for us. Later, when he asked if we wanted more, my friend ordered another 3 oz Silver Oak and he brought it right to our table, so we didn't even have to get up again. If the Wine Wall is one of the main reasons for your visit, there are couches and tables right by it. You might want to choose that area if you plan on trying 1 oz. tastes of several wines. We enjoyed two excellent Cabernets from the Wine Wall: Caymus and Silver Oak. I had a 3 oz Caymus, a 3 oz Silver Oak, and my friend had a 6 oz Caymus and 3 oz Silver Oak. Our total Wine Wall charge was $83. We're already looking forward to returning for what will feel like a different experience by having white wine and sushi outdoors on a cool evening. I could definitely see The Living Room becoming an easy choice for a casual Happy Hour or dinner with friends.

After looking over the menu, we started off with Francesco's frittura to share. This dish tasted fine, nothing outstanding. For our main entrees we ordered the brown butter seared scallops with sweet corn risotto and the shrimp fradiavolo. Both of these entrees were outstanding in their own respect. The risotto was subtly sweet and not heavy or rich. Additionally, the scallops were nicely seasoned and not overcooked. The shrimp fradiavolo was mildly spicy and the spaghetti was perfectly al dente. Since we always have room for dessert, we ordered the tiramisu to share. It was nice and fluffy, and not too sweet, which we prefer. Overall, service was friendly, patient, and attentive. The ambiance was comfortable and intimate with lots of indoor seating and some outdoor patio seating. I highly recommend making reservations in advance if you plan on coming here. My two favorite dishes that never miss are the Lasagna and the Chicken Parm. Like clockwork, it has always been impeccable. Sadly my most recent experience will likely be my last experience. I ordered the Chicken Parm and when it came out there was something missing from my plate. Instead of the usual Rigatoni Pasta with Vodka Sauce there were a couple of stale chunks of potatoes and some sorry looking asparagus spears. I asked the bartender where is the pasta. She responded that it no longer comes with pasta and that I could order some at an additional charge. It was at that moment that I knew I would never return again. Never in my entire life have I ever ordered Chicken Parm at an Italian Restaurant and not have it come with pasta. That is like ordering a hamburger and it doesn't come with a bun. Then they tell you that you are more than welcome to order a bun at an additional cost. It was like the ultimate slap in the face. I understand that businesses are under financial pressure in these tough times. I can assure you though that this restaurant does not suffer from this fate. There is simply zero excuse for this type of behavior from ownership. Their meals are already priced near the top of the market here in Scottsdale, and rightfully so as their food is top tier. But to raise prices and then remove a staple item off of the menu is asinine. Again, I really do not like writing negative reviews for businesses because I am a fellow business owner as well. However the consumer in me cannot stand for this type of treachery. I am sick and tired of paying more and getting less. This is not meant to deter others from experiencing this place. It is meant to let management that loyal customers are dissatisfied with their business practices. Finally, I am not a cheapskate either. I always tip at least 30% which is way above the average. I am not tone-deaf, I sympathize with restaurant staff and wage gaps so every little bit helps in the service industry.
