Wow, hidden gem in Scottsdale. We attended a concert in the jazz bar area. It was a free concert. Any donations made that evening went to the nonprofit Kitchen On The street. Great ambience, drinks were available at a reasonable price, and the table placement made it easy to see and hear no matter where you sat. During intermission, we learned about the nonprofit benefiting from this concert, and the musicians actually walked around and talked to people in the audience as well. There is also larger hall here for concerts. The music was great. If you enjoy Jazz music, this is the place to go!

Beautiful ambience and superior sound! What a great little gem in North Scottsdale. I love that they offer a jazz club night as well as special events.

First time at Ravenscroft Hall for a great concert. The theater holds about 250 people and the acoustics and lighting are exceptional. Large lobby area has plenty of seating. For the venue I attended, there were also dinner selections. The Ravenscroft is completing their second Jazz Season. Saw Diego Figueiredo and Stanley Jordan.Excellent concert with two Jazz Legends, what a treat. Free valet parking and friendly atmosphere. Nice to have another great Jazz venue in the Northeast Phoenix & Scottsdale Area.

What a wonderful night. Great sound. Fab staff. Catering is top notch. Come a bit early to get some dinner. I love the way they ticket the seating, assigned by table. Come and enjoy.

This is a great venue. We visited a jazz performance and it felt like being in someone's home. I recommend without reservations.

I haven't had a drink I haven't liked, you can't go wrong with any of them. The 50 first dates has become my favorite, however. For food, the milk bread is a delicious starter. The chicken tenders are also amazing. Can't wait to go back!

We made our way down the stairs and the hostess was there ready to check us in. We didn't wait at all and got seated right away. Once seated it took a while for the server to come take our order. There was live music going on which kept us entertained for the time being. After about 15 minutes, she finally came over to greet us and take our drink orders. We ordered: 1 WILD STRAWBABY - Ocho Blanco Tequila, Bergamot, Strawberry, Pineapple, Lemon, Almond Milk $22 1 50 FIRST DATES - Bumbu Rum, Cascara, Brown Sugar Date Syrup, Coconut Milk, Cinnamon Sprinkle $22 1 BLUEBERRY MULE - Blueberry, Lime, Ginger Beer $13 The drinks didn't take too long and another bartender dropped them off. Water was never offered to us and was only given to us after we asked. All the other tables were given water once they were seated. Our drinks were good but we chose to just have one each and we left. The live music was great. The musician was playing the piano and kept it fun and upbeat. The inside is pretty cool and unique but service could've definitely been better though. *There's a $10 cover fee per person when there is live music*

I have so many things to say... One, as an aviation fan I…read morehave wanted to go here since I moved to AZ. It did not disappoint - this is actually a second-story restaurant so you can see the runway and planes! I'll note it is at the far end of the runway, so it would be MOST ideal to sit outside at the end of the patio for plane watching. Two, the service was impeccable on a Saturday for brunch. Is everyone who works here in a good mood? The energy is bright, light and airy, the service is attentive but low pressure. Three, they LOVE PETS. I'm not a pet owner but while I was there two people brought their pets along and one was a golden retriever puppy. This wouldn't matter but puppies can obviously cause a nuisance indoors - this staff did not mind. They were not in a slow service part of the day but they treated the pets like patrons and it actually created a really relaxed, collaborative atmosphere. I will note this though because if you're not an animal lover/ are afraid of dogs, their acceptance is a little more than the typical "pets outside" policy. Four, the food. It was beyond exceptional, and it's funny because the typical airport diner isn't elevated. But this is Scottsdale, and we had really delicious, beautiful food - actually fine dining presentation but in these cute mismatched kitschy dishes which brought it back down home. Lastly for anyone who loves birding, you wouldn't think an airport is a great spot but there is actually wildly diverse population of birds in the Volanti entrance. Trust me. I would not only love to go back but I think bringing a visitor here would be the best time.

We booked a reservation ahead of time so we're able to snag a patio seat which was the best for plane watching. They have some misters but it still was quite hot on a June day, I'm sure fall or winter would be perfect. They have some great happy hour prices and the portions were very generous. Here's my ratings for each menu item we tried: Tenderloin sliders 5/5 Meatballs 4/5 Take off trio 2/5 Tiny tuna 3/5 Tacos 3/5 Our server was just okay this visit, we would've liked to order more but once our food came he didn't check on us again until we had asked for our bill. Overall we still enjoyed our meal & I would come back again.

The waitress was so attentive and all food and drink was half off. I had the Bellini which was a heavy pour so you definitely get your money's worth. Apparently it turns into a club at night with a band and indoor/outdoor bars. Well worth the value!

I've passed by Blue Martini many of times. It always seems to be the most hype spot on High Street, a nice entertainment district in Desert Ridge. I finally took the plunge and checked it out on a Thursday night around 9:30 p.m. Parking is easy (and free) on the street, in the surface lots, or the garage on High Street. Ambiance (3.5/5): Blue Martini is definitely a bit bougie and caters to that audience. There's a nice outdoor patio which is where we sat since the weather was beautiful. There's a bar outside and waiter service. I briefly looked inside and there's a bar inside too, lounge sitting, and a dance floor. Blue Martini often has live music or a DJ. Definitely a spot where you can break it down on the dance floor. There's bottle service too if that's your thing. Service (2/5): Talk about slow service! It took our waitress longer than it should have for us to greet us. After placing an order for drinks, we received them promptly. After that we didn't see her again for quite a while. I wanted to order a second cocktail and she was nowhere to be found. Eventually she came around and I placed my order. I decided to close out right then and there knowing that it would take a long time to track her down to close out if I didn't do it right then and there. They also charge two fees amounting to 5%. Not sure what that's all about. Food (N/A): While they do have food, I just had drinks since I was there pretty late. I view Blue Martini as more of a drinks spot, but I can't comment on the food. They have a daily happy hour with discounts on select food items. Drinks (3.5/5): If the name isn't a dead giveaway, Blue Martini specializes in martinis. Beyond martinis, they have a large cocktail list. Plus everything else you'd find with a full bar. The drinks are a bit pricey (it is a see and be seen type of spot after all and you're likely to see old geezers pulling up in Lambos and Ferraris), but I liked the selection. I started off with the Blue Martini, their namesake. It's served with a blue glow stick. From there, I had the strawberry basil martini. Both were pretty good. Not speakeasy quality cocktails but better than your average bar for sure. While Blue Martini isn't really my scene, I can have a good time anywhere. If you're looking to turn up and dance, it's a good spot for that. And it's also elite for people watching.
