Another person got the Aftermath burger, it looked great, he said it was decent but didn't like the bun, said it was "a lot of bread". I did order the AM burger which is a double but it was brought out as a single, very thin patty. When I mentioned it, I was offered another patty, but the interaction felt a little off, so I just kept it as is. The burger itself didn't match the expectations I had from what I've seen online. What is Born & Bred all about? Good food and great customer service. The location was recommended by one of the locals and I'm glad we gave them a try. The atmosphere is chill and restaurant offers plenty of indoor and patio seating. We visited during brunch and were not disappointed by the food variety. Their menu was tailored to fit the time of day. We ordered the breakfast sandwich and breakfast bowl. The only negative was they didn't have coffee available and we had to wait until some was brewed. For a place that is open for brunch, coffee is a must. Both the bowl and the sandwich were delicious and the eggs were cooked perfectly on the sandwich and bowl. The short ribs in the bowl were perfectly seasoned and added a nice touch to the meal. The sandwich was served on a huge plate with a side of fruit and because of the plate size, made the entree seem small (which it was not). Looked odd to get such a big plate for a breakfast sandwich. Stopped in while visiting town. Came mid afternoon on a Sunday so we were provided with the brunch menu. I went into it thinking I wanted the Caesar wrap. However after learning it may be a bit anchovy heavy I decided against it. The antipasto salad was a great substitute for getting my greens. The pizza was also fairly tasty. So the kitchen took over two and a half half hours for mine and my coworkers food. The restaurant was not packed and the kitchen was not overwhelmed. It was a logistical nightmare and it was embarrassing to see the kitchen staff eye gawking the plates trying to figure out what is going on with 9 steaks that were ordered. They looked lost trying to figure out whose plates were whose. Yes, they comped mine and my coworkers meal after I said that I didn't want to eat it and wanted to leave and have it to go. The staff is super friendly and they gave us excellent recommendations regarding their specialty cocktails which were great. We ordered the shrimp cocktail for appetizer, but the absolute best thing on this menu is the aftermath burger with side Caesar salad. We can honestly say that this is the best burger you could ever order in a Phoenix restaurant and the side Caesar salad is so great as well. The burger is absolutely delicious and so different from most traditional burgers, that you will leave this place rethinking what a burger should actually taste like ... it's THAT good. We finished our meal with the Keylime dessert, which was tasty and unique. Overall, this restaurant is great place for date night and a very reasonable price point scottsdale. I walked over to this restaurant from the Hilton next-door. It is in a strip mall. It has indoor/outdoor seating and an indoor/outdoor bar. I got a martini for happy hour. It was really tasty and decently priced. They have a happy hour menu that includes shrimp cocktail, a fancy mac & cheese, a chicken Caesar salad wrap, and a few other items. I wasn't craving any of it so I just enjoyed the martini but others at the bar we're ordering food and it all looked really good. It took over 25 minutes just to get a salad, and we ordered bread too -- which they're supposedly known for--but it was so stale it wasn't even edible. Honestly, it tasted like a crouton. Things only got worse. The pizza took over 50 minutes to arrive, and by that point, I had already told the staff I needed to leave soon to catch a flight. Only then did they start to rush, clearly because we were ready to walk out. (Even the table next to us walked out from slow service) When the pizza finally came, it was not what I ordered. I asked for a Margherita, but what I got had a ton of toppings I would never even order in my life. When I mentioned the mistake, the server gaslit me, insisting I must've ordered it wrong. He took it away and magically came back one minute later with a Margherita--at which point I had to send it back because I no longer had time to eat it. The server continued to treat me like I was at fault for the mix-up, which was incredibly unprofessional and upsetting, especially on my first visit.
