Went for a very special occasion and tried this place out for the first time. Alea was our server and was very sweet and Accommodating to every request! If you come, please ask for her and you'll be guaranteed a great time with good service and even better food :)

This place is fantastic. Amazing drinks, amazing happy hour, amazing service. Our bartender, Gigi, was so fun and helped steer us towards some delish menu options. The smash burger was a hit, and the ceasar wrap with the pepperoni pizza crust was so unique and delicious. Was my first time visiting and I'm now a Big fan of this spot, excited to return on my next az trip!

Came on Tuesday and they have happy hour all day! Got a strawberry mocktail. It was good. Also got the burger and it was delicious. Also my sister got the ceaser wrap and it was good.

Chicken Caesar Wrap

I was so excited to try the Caesar wrap here, however the lack of chicken and dressing, made it a little underwhelming. The wrap definitely has potential, as the restaurant was encompassed with wonderful, fresh bread smells. The accompaniment of pasta salad was an interesting choice and not something I got to pick. I wanted to add avocado to the wrap, but they forgot it. The service was great though and carry out was perfect. The wrap did not get soggy and the lettuce and cheese tasted fresh and light.

The AM burger

I've been wanting to come in since they opened and was really excited to finally try it...especially with all the burger hype I've been seeing. It was my girlfriends birthday and she loves burgers so we decided to go. The fries were fantastic!! Super crispy and easily the best part of the meal. I did order the AM burger which is a double but it was brought out as a single, very thin patty. When I mentioned it, I was offered another patty, but the interaction felt a little off, so I just kept it as is. The burger itself didn't match the expectations I had from what I've seen online. Unfortunately, it felt pretty underwhelming overall. The service was okay, but not quite the experience I was expecting. I truly wanted to love it and still believe in what they are building here. With a few adjustments, especially to the burger consistency and overall guest experience, I think this place could absolutely live up to the buzz and be a standout spot

What is Born & Bred all about? Good food and great customer service. The location was recommended by one of the locals and I'm glad we gave them a try. The atmosphere is chill and restaurant offers plenty of indoor and patio seating. We visited during brunch and were not disappointed by the food variety. Their menu was tailored to fit the time of day. We ordered the breakfast sandwich and breakfast bowl. The only negative was they didn't have coffee available and we had to wait until some was brewed. For a place that is open for brunch, coffee is a must. Both the bowl and the sandwich were delicious and the eggs were cooked perfectly on the sandwich and bowl. The short ribs in the bowl were perfectly seasoned and added a nice touch to the meal. The sandwich was served on a huge plate with a side of fruit and because of the plate size, made the entree seem small (which it was not). Looked odd to get such a big plate for a breakfast sandwich. Overall, the restaurant is good for all times of the day and serve up delicious meals with decent prices. Give them a try!

Stopped in while visiting town. Came mid afternoon on a Sunday so we were provided with the brunch menu. I went into it thinking I wanted the Caesar wrap. However after learning it may be a bit anchovy heavy I decided against it. The antipasto salad was a great substitute for getting my greens. The pizza was also fairly tasty. It was fairly dark inside for an afternoon. I wish they had offered at least a pasta on their brunch menu. I really wanted to check that out. The service was fairly helpful. Only disappointment was a can of soda so I wasn't able to get refills of that.

If i could leave this place a 0, I would. We came in couple hours before prom and ordered the steak with fries while the rest of our group placed orders. (group of 6 all teens) We waited for 50 minutes for SOME of our food to come out and we realized that it was only our garlic bread apps! After waiting for awhile more we were brought a damn near raw or blue steak, we asked for medium rare, After sending it back they did not comp it! After waiting another 20-30 for our food to come again they brought the bill for the table and we had to go!! Didn't even get to eat my food! Do not EVER recommend this place.

Chicken Caesar salad wrap with Pepperoni

We came after seeing the chicken Caesar salad wrap on instagram. It was worth the visit. I wish we were going straight home so I could take the leftovers. I definitely want to check this place out again at dinner time as we were there during Saturday brunch. Our server was great and the restaurant has modern American vibes. Overall great place, would recommend!

Don't sleep on Born and Bred's lunch special! We visited last week and were excited to see the lunch special as an affordable, yet filling, option! It's a side Caesar salad, a personal pizza, and an NA beverage all for $14. Can't beat it. I went with the Ragazzo pizza, which was basically a barbecue chicken pizza. We saw them wood firing our pizzas, which was pretty cool. The ingredients tasted very high quality as well--always a plus. Our server was busy but very attentive and friendly. The restaurant itself was cozy and not too noisy so my friend and I were able to catch up. It was a great experience!

Tried this restaurant for the first time for take out and was a bit disappointed!! Everything went fine with ordering, but the chicken Caesar wrap was very bland, had very little chicken and I paid extra for avocado, and hardly any was included. Will try other menu items in the future. Friendly service.

So the kitchen took over two and a half half hours for mine and my coworkers food. The restaurant was not packed and the kitchen was not overwhelmed. It was a logistical nightmare and it was embarrassing to see the kitchen staff eye gawking the plates trying to figure out what is going on with 9 steaks that were ordered. They looked lost trying to figure out whose plates were whose. Yes, they comped mine and my coworkers meal after I said that I didn't want to eat it and wanted to leave and have it to go. However, this place put such a bad taste in my mouth that I left the uneaten food on the bar table because this restaurant wasted my time and I would rather not eat their food. They even gave me and my coworker a gift card for the inconvenience but I was so unhappy that I even threw that away because I didn't want associate myself with this business. EMBARRASSING. I settled for Burger King because I would rather eat a whopper with cheese over the food in this restaurant.

Truffle fries
Emma N.

I came here with friends for brunch on a Sunday afternoon around 12pm. We had a reservation, but didn't need it since the whole place was empty. We decided to order the truffle fries to share and they were delicious!!! Highly recommend, and they come with three dipping sauces. I ordered the breakfast sandwich, and it was ok. I don't think I'd order it again. Just kind of plain and basic. I also had tea with honey and lemon and that was nice, as I was getting over a small cold. Towards the end things got a bit awkward, as we were trying to leave and the waitress was really busy helping others. I took a while for her to come back and get our cards once the checks had been passed out. I would come back though, or maybe try the Scottsdale location.

Amazing pizza. Great crust. Also loved the Brussel sprouts appetizer. Some outdoor seating which was good because the inside can get noisy.

The hotel provides 10$ valet service which I was blown away by the cost because many other fancy locations charge a lot more in my area. We dropped off our vehicle then walked towards the beautiful door with the name of the restaurant illuminated. As we entered we were greeted by a beautiful wine display and a beautiful host check-in area. The place had lots of neon lights that complemented the stone and wood. We approached the bar and sat on some very comfortable barstools. The bathrooms were incredibly clean and had a very modern look. Everything was beautiful! We had the pleasure of meeting Caleb who was new to the restaurant and he gave us a rundown of the menu. He recommended a few items and was very patient with us because brunch is a ritual and can take a while to decide especially when everything looked so amazing on the menu. We finally decided on Eggs Benedict and as we were looking for other options Anthony who was extremely knowledgeable, judging by how well he knew the menu and talked about the items, was a veteran and very skilled. He went over the menu in detail and helped us narrow down our options and we chose the frittata. The eggs Benedict was a work of art and the flavors were beautiful. The eggs were perfectly poached and the sauce was better than any sauce I have had in a while. It was rich and creamy and had the perfect texture. The ciabatta that everything was on was perfectly toasted and had that beautiful char flavor. The spinach was fresh and green and still had a crunch to it. The frittata was perfectly made and was fluffy and had fresh arugula on top. It was very soft and not dry and had a perfect shape. The chef blended the flavors perfectly allowing you to taste every ingredient in it. No ingredient overpowered the other and everything was in perfect harmony to excite the taste buds. Anthony and Caleb came back to check on us and we tried their refreshing spritz that was highly recommended. While sipping on our spritz we spoke to Anthony and he gave us some fabulous ideas about where to go and things to do and we decided to go to the civic center and old town area that he recommended and it was amazing. We then asked Anthony and Caleb for a menu. We were full but the food was so good we wanted to try more and they recommended the calamari. The calamari practically made me cry. It was not oily like you get it at most restaurants and the breading was perfect it was light and fluffy and appeared to be floating like clouds on each other. It was not chewy but perfectly tender with the right amount of zesty that brought back memories of being in Sicily. We ordered some prosecco and enjoyed it as Caleb gave us some recommendations on other restaurants we should try while we were in town, which we added to our list. Calobe and Anthony were very helpful and a prime example of what makes a business prosper. Taking care of the people is not only serving food and making drinks. It is about connecting with them even beyond what the restaurant has to offer. We were so sad we were not able to go back for dinner but because of the amazing staff, we will be coming back to sexy roman again. Thank you, Chef, for your amazing food, and thank you Anthony and Caleb for your level of professionalism and the fantastic customer service!
