The image shows three drinks on a wooden bar counter: a cocktail in a coupe glass with three green olives, a glass of red wine, and a glass of water. A menu with a cartoon character is in the background, along with a lime wedge on a glass with ice. The setting appears to be a bar or pub with a warm wooden interior.

Little hole in the wall lounge with great service and prices. The bar and the bathrooms were extremely clean and I can totally appreciate the "nice vibes only" policy. They even offer a cute little menu with really affordable snacks and apps. Will definitely be dropping off my husband here at my next visit to HomeGoods.

A vertical banner advertising Miller Lite beer, showing a large, detailed image of a beer glass filled with beer. The banner also features the Washington State University logo, with a stylized cougar head. It is hung on a wall decorated with sports memorabilia, including license plates from Washington and Illinois, and other signs. The setting appears to be a bar or sports-themed area.

First time here, I don't care what the service or atmosphere is like, all I need to know is there's a coug flag on the wall. Go Cougs. Best bar ever.

So I'm not big on negative reviews but occasionally it's warranted. I have only been to the bar twice and each time, either myself or a friend were asked to leave. While they cited "too much alcohol" they certainly continued to serve well beyond that point, and it only became an issue once the "usuals" started to get defensive and mean. Both times there have been groups of people who really didn't give this a good "dive bar, cheers feeling" but rather, were total jerks. That's a bummer. My advice if you want to go: already be a little drunk. Go w a big group of friends, as you won't be welcomed otherwise...at least you'll have your support system. ‍‍‍ Good characteristics: great IPA beer on tap, for cheap! Love the karaoke music. Love the board games idea...but the unfriendly attitudes from "usual suspects" and some of the staff does preclude me from anticipating any future returns. Plenty of dive bars in town...moving on cheers! Ps...thanks for returning my missing phone that somehow made it "behind the tank of one of the bathroom toilets" *wink wink* sure...

Ambience This is where they really separate themselves. Instead of the typical dim, sticker-covered, industrial brewery feel, this place is bright, clean, and curated. It honestly feels closer to a well-designed coffee shop, but built around great beer. Not a huge space, but comfortable enough to grab a pint and hang out without feeling cramped. Extras Huge bonus, they'll order Trevor's Liquor pizza for you and have it brought over. That alone makes it an easy stop. Overall I'm really glad this spot opened up nearby. It's comfortable, open, and pet friendly, making it a great spot to hang out with friends (two- or four-legged). My only minor disappointment was the limited selection of stout beers on tap during my visit. If you're a stout lover, you may not find as many options as you'd hope for. That said, the overall atmosphere, service, and setup make it a brewery I'd definitely come back to.

Big screen TVs are every direction you look with lovely bright colored picnic tables and chairs. Unfortunately, this was our first time there and we didn't know what to expect. It's not the place for a two year-old. My two-year-old granddaughter was with us. We were just looking to have a hamburger in a nice upscale restaurant. It's extremely loud so be prepared for that. (Not an upscale restaurant but nice none the less.) If I had known, this was a sports bar we would not have gone with a two-year-old. Service was OK, a little bit slow. Food was ok. Not enough fries with hamburgers. Our food server seemed to be disappointed because we weren't ordering any alcohol. We asked for lemon water. Also known as agua fresca water. It appears that that's where their sales or tips come from. When I got the bill, the lowest tip on there is 20%. This place is not worth 20%. And the way our food server acted, no way was she worth 20%. I had to go looking for her to get our final bill. We must've sat for an additional 20 minutes after we finished eating waiting for her pass so we could flag her down for the bill. I finally had to go to the cashiers station to get the bill. Our server also seem to be seriously distracted. Not sure why but this looks like a place where you could make really good tips if you just paid attention to your customers. maybe she had too many tables to take care of. I don't know. But I think when you leave your people alone and don't even bother to check on them, they've been there over 30 minutes yeah that's not customer service worth 20%. I don't understand why restaurants don't teach and put an emphasis on their food servers that their tip is based on their presentation, their friendliness and attentiveness to the table not on what the restaurant thinks they should get. (Former food server/waitress of 40 years) Would I ever go there again? Probably not because the bar scene is not my forte nor do I get the thrill of watching sports teams compete. I think it's a great place for men to go if they want to watch their favorite football basketball whatever. Have a couple drinks appetizers hamburger whatever. But definitely not for a family with small children. It's just too loud in there and too distracting for children. But hey, each of their own.

This is my at-least-once-a-month spot for catching up with friends, popping in solo, or grabbing a "just one drink" that may or may not turn into two. The beer selection is massive, borderline intimidating, and the wine list rotates often, which I love. Pro tip: don't play beer roulette unless you enjoy surprises that might hurt your feelings. Instead, tell the bartender what you like and they'll work their magic, usually with a taste so you don't commit to something you regret. As a wine drinker, I especially appreciate when they suggest something I wouldn't normally order and absolutely nail it. The vibe is casual but a sort of kind of sexy (weird). The dim lighting, great energy, and zero pressure might be it. Bar seating up front, games if you're feeling social, and high tables in the back for groups or communal mingling. It's the kind of place where you can settle in... or pop in, pop out, and still feel satisfied without spending your rent money. They have small bites like grilled cheese and occasional cheese plates, but let's be honest, this is not a food destination, and that's perfectly fine. My beer-loving friends can happily sample half the menu while I sip a perfectly chilled Sauvignon Blanc and judge none of it. And finally, the real MVPs: the bartenders. Always friendly, always helpful, always down to chat, especially if you're there solo (hi, it's me again!). They'll listen to you ramble, offer great suggestions, and somehow make you feel like a regular even if you're just stopping in briefly. Reliable, fun, unpretentious, and consistently solid. The Whining Pig is a downtown staple for a reason.

From the moment we arrived, the service was warm--our server was friendly and attentive, and Chef Kareem truly made the experience memorable with a surprise dessert at the end, We ordered a variety of dishes, including the Godfather pizza (my personal favorite), the Americano with sausage, and a classic cheese pizza. Everything was delicious, but the real standouts for our table were the garlic knots bread service and the meatballs--both were absolute hits. To wrap up the evening, my father ordered an Old Fashioned, I had a cosmopolitan, and my mother enjoyed a lemon drop. While the drinks were well-made, they leaned more on the sour side; I tend to prefer sweeter cocktails, so that's just something to keep in mind depending on your taste. Overall, Born n Bred offers a beautiful, dimly lit atmosphere that's perfect for a cozy family dinner or a relaxed night out. We had a great experience and would definitely return.

Overall, meh, here's why... *Service: friendly, nice, prompt, attentive. * Food: Relatively mediocre. For a place that has a pizza oven, it didn't seem like they've spent enough time designing the pizza itself to taste amazing. The margarita pizza was average in flavor, texture, ingredients and overall enjoyment. My Pork Bolognese was simply "alright spaghetti", tasted fine, nothing outstanding, exciting or noteworthy. Another person got the Aftermath burger, it looked great, he said it was decent but didn't like the bun, said it was "a lot of bread". The Chicken Caesar Wrap looked decent and two in our party said it was good, but nothing terribly special. *Ambience: It's a smaller, more intimate setting than the Chandler's far more open, modern and energetic feel. This isn't a bad thing. Integrated bar and dining area. Clean, decent. Nothing spectacular, or terrible, comfortable and nice. *Value: The menu items aren't priced excessively, they just weren't great, so the value feels lower than it likely is. *Overall: solid three stars. Good service, decent atmosphere, decent food, acceptable value. I wouldn't rush back, but wouldn't avoid it.

This beer-focused bar isn't the easiest to find because it's underground down a stairwell. Look for the signage close to the stairwell. Ambiance (3.5/5): We sat at a booth at the bar. It's one of the few seats that have back support (which is important to me due to my old man back). Outside of that, it's all barstool seating with no back support inside. Outside, they have a small patio with chairs. That would be another option for me when the weather cooperates. The decor inside is your typical beer bar decor. Laid back. Comfortable. There's a jukebox. A cool place to grab some brews. Service (3.5/5): Two bartenders were working that evening and they were pretty solid. I did have to grab their attention a few times but no biggie. The Whining Pig has daily specials including a beer and grilled cheese combo on Wednesdays. I was curious on the price. They didn't know nor did they find out. That was a miss. Food (N/A): No food for me on this visit as I had dinner prior. They have a small menu, mostly made up of various grilled cheese sandwiches. They have a classic one, a pizza one, and a few others. I'm a dan of grilled cheese so I'll definitely try one out at some point. They also have charcuterie boards. Drinks (4.5/5): Now for the good stuff! Unlike most beer spots, they also have wine and several cocktails. But when in Rome, so I went with a beer flight. You can choose five beers of your choosing from a list of 40 beers or so. While they don't brew their own beer, they have an interesting selection of local craft beers and European ones. The types of beers you're not going to find at your neighborhood bar, including saisons and sours. The flight is served in a pig shape holder which was pretty funny. Flights are always my go-to when they're offered as they allow you to try out a nice variety. Added bonus: Walk down the hallway past the bathrooms and you'll run into Pigtails---a speakeasy owned by the same folks. That way, you can get both your brews and elevated cocktails fix in the same night.
