I love a good dive bar and this definitely is in the running for that! My only problem was a went on a really dead night (Monday)and there was hardly anyone there, but on the flip side I had full control of the TouchTunes! They had lots of fun looking drinks but I just stuck with a vodka/cran. It was strong but not overwhelming like some dive bars. I loved all the funny signs around the bar and the bartender, Joy was very friendly. I want to check out another night when there are more people. Just as a side note, the parking lot was a bit sketchy -- I arrived around 730pm on a Monday so it wasn't very late -- There is a weird split in the parking lot one side is the Aldi side (which seemed more populated with people going in and out of the store) and the other side is a bunch of shops that were closed . There were some interesting people chilling out in their cars and yelling to each other when I came out - I was by myself and felt a little sketched by it, but I was fine. read more

I attended a large group happy hour here, and it was my first time at this establishment. If you're looking for a classic casual bar, this is the place. I don't drink so I can't speak to alcohol but I had a good soda and an order of chicken wings off their menu. The chicken wings were perfectly cooked. And overall with only two people serving the whole bar, they did a great job. Hats off to Sara and Nicole. They even have an outdoor smoking area if you are into that. read more

The bartenders here are great. It's usually Nicole but sometimes I get Joy or Deborah. The owner is always here. I've also met Paul the guy bartender who is also very nice. I really do recommend coming here especially since it's women owned. read more

Fun place! Visiting from out of town and Closed the place. Met the locals, Emily was awesome, and the iguana balls were delicious. Not a fancy place in anyway shape or form but was fun, inviting atmosphere with tvs for us to watch games. Food was bar food. read more

Love this local bar! We used to always go to Ernie's when we wanted a few drinks, but I'm so glad to have found Paradise Lounge as a replacement! Nicole and Edgar and great bartenders and always make us feel welcomed. The drinks are very fairly priced and they have Touch Tunes which is always a plus! Little hole in the wall lounge with great service and prices. The bar and the bathrooms were extremely clean and I can totally appreciate the "nice vibes only" policy. They even offer a cute little menu with really affordable snacks and apps. Will definitely be dropping off my husband here at my next visit to HomeGoods. read more

I was staying nearby to celebrate a friend graduating from ASU in early December. We wanted to find a nice locals bar. This place didn't disappoint. Clean, nice staff, and the locals appeared to be chill. TVs had Monday Night Football, and the place looks like a good place to watch games as well. So I'm not big on negative reviews but occasionally it's warranted. I have only been to the bar twice and each time, either myself or a friend were asked to leave. While they cited "too much alcohol" they certainly continued to serve well beyond that point, and it only became an issue once the "usuals" started to get defensive and mean. Both times there have been groups of people who really didn't give this a good "dive bar, cheers feeling" but rather, were total jerks. That's a bummer. My advice if you want to go: already be a little drunk. Go w a big group of friends, as you won't be welcomed otherwise...at least you'll have your support system. ‍‍‍ Good characteristics: great IPA beer on tap, for cheap! Love the karaoke music. Love the board games idea...but the unfriendly attitudes from "usual suspects" and some of the staff does preclude me from anticipating any future returns. If you are looking for a cozy bar with a great happy hour you must visit paradise lounge. Our server Chandler was the only server/bartender working who was a literal ray of sunshine! She handled the bar with grace and ease and mad everyone feel welcome. This is a great spot! read more

We love this place, we hadn't been there for over two years. We tried last year but weren't in the area. This year we made a point to come back because we enjoyed it so much. Nothing but a nice quiet place to have a drink and a small menu in the afternoon. We walked in and sat down and Nicole the bartender said, "You are Mike and Cheryl", she remembered our names. That was to me unbelievable. The point being she is a remarkable bartender. The place is still great! Stop in if in the area, some twice and the will probably remember what you drink. If you're into dive bars with a great patio space and excellent service, Paradise is a hidden gem. Actually, it is literally hidden, tucked in a back corner space of the plaza building behind a Baskin Robbins. There is a store front sign on the plaza to help new patrons find this bar too. Beer prices are very reasonable but there is a $15 minimum for using your debit or credit card here. However, if you don't make that minimum the bartender will charge you for another drink and hand you over a token. I haven't seen tokens in a while and I get kind of excited when a bar hands them out. You can grab some bar bites here too but Paradise does not have a full kitchen. Fried veggies, pizza, and fried mozzarella sticks are just some of the bites you can order. The Paradise patio out back is fully enclosed with rain tarps and fans for the summer and heaters for the winter. This dark space is smoking friendly and also has two televisions, usually broadcasting a sporting event. Bring your games and friends, or make some new ones with the friendly patrons here. Also, this is a great space to enjoy and beer and a book by yourself. read more

Stopped in for a cold one. Great price. Staff was friendly to everyone who walked in. The place looks like it's been around for decades, but it was spotless. Bartender was attentive to disinfecting after patrons left, and the bathroom floor looked like you could eat pizza off of it. Well done! read more

Sorry but I have to be the voice of dissent/reason here. Had probably the worst bar experience I've ever had at 'Paradise' last night. The beer (Blue Moon on draft) tasted old with a strange aftertaste and even the Coke tasted nasty (all 4 of us left our glasses all but untouched after the first taste). The worst part, though, was the service. Rather than seeming curious or concerned about the Coke that tasted like dishwater, the bartender rolled her eyes and made it seem a huge bother to try another glass (which also tasted bad). Must have been too much trouble, because there were all of about 5 other people in the whole place. Yikes -- Won't be back. read more

Meet me behind the Baskin Robbins and I'll fix your little red wagon..... That's exactly what will happen when you walk into this place. Small, cozy, the game is always on, the juke box has great music, they do Karaoke (against Jen's, one of the owner's better judgement) and they have live music on Saturday's. If you want a place to go get your drink on, play some domino's, or just relax, this is a great little bar. The regulars are as nice as they come and they are definitely loyal. The bar just changed hands a little over a year ago and the couple running it are fantastic and have spruced the place up a bit with some new paint, new TV's and a nice patio so you can drink and get your smoke on if you so desire. If you are looking for a hang out after work or on the weekend, this place definitely fits the bill. Just look behind the Baskin Robbin's cuz it is tucked away. read more
