Once you try it, you will understand the name. One of the more innovative cocktails I have ever had... and I ended up having two! So delicious and an experience in itself!! We enjoyed some light bites as well - the Edamame Hummus and Shishito Peppers. Both were fantastic! I love that their menu points out which items are gluten-free... and our server even warned me that the plantain chips in the Edamame Hummus could have cross-contamination... so I very much appreciate that heads up! I opted to order them anyway and I am so glad I did - so good! And I experienced no gluten issues. Awesome! I'm already looking forward to a return trip! I love the giant disco balls and the aesthetic of this place. We started with the appletini and lemongrass highball (non-alcoholic). My friend and I ended up switching drinks because we liked each other's more than our own. For the second round, we ordered the brandy spritz and primrose martini. We weren't fans of the brandy spritz, although my friend grew into it. The primrose martini was quite good, I liked it better than the appletini. For snackies, we ordered the glizzy gaunlet, which was basically a tower of carbs. It came with 5 mini dogs with milk bread, and potato wedges. There were 3 sauces, my favorite in order were the: truffle dijonnaise, kosho aioli, and korean ketchup. We enjoyed this more than the food at Filthy Animal. Although it was pricey ($22) for just carbs and hardly any protein. The milk bread was delicious and the mini dogs were pretty good too. The potato wedges were cooked perfectly, slightly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Would I return? Probably not. The food was better than the drinks but it wasn't outstanding.

We stopped by Wren & Wolf to collect our boarding passes and sat down to relax in the lounge until we got closer to boarding time. We then walked around the building to the dimly lit entrance and waited behind the ropes. At exactly the boarding time, the captain opened the doors and greeted us. We walked by the check-in area, and our tickets were checked. The stewardesses then gave us a pair of wings. This flight was to Tokyo and the travel warning mentioned kaiju activities. Glancing into the seating area it was shaped like a luxury plane with windows and ample space to move around. At the back of the plane were seats wrapping around and the cabin was very beautifully decorated. Towards the front of the aircraft, there was a beautiful bar. The photos in the advertisements are not photoshopped the place is amazing. The stewardesses escorted us to our seats and they were very comfortable. Depending on group size you either get a small table for two or for 4. This reminded us of the movie Soul Plane lol. Kiki and Madie were our stewardesses on the flight and started us with a complimentary drink and some peanuts. As we were taking off you could see the plane taking off through the windows and you could feel vibrations on the floor as if the plane was rolling. Then once in the air they played a large selection of music. Keep an eye out the windows because you will see strange things like we spotted King Kong and then while in flight we saw Ghidorah fly by and I think I got a glimpse of Mothra, but was not sure. Kiki and Madie were amazing they kept the drinks flowing and we watched the captain make drinks because he was also the bartender. We then ran into turbulence and into a storm and spotted Godzilla, Mechagodzilla, and Ghidorah amidst the dark clouds and lightning. Then at this time the martini carts came around serving handcrafted martinis at your table side. After we got out of the dark clouds there was a tasty cookie and more drinks. The service was amazing. Kiki and Madie were Rockstars and were very efficient at their jobs. They provided light conversation and were knowledgeable about the menu and gave great recommendations. When we got close to Tokyo and were ready to land there was a last call and we could see Tokyo from the windows as we did our final approach. The whole experience was well worth it and each flight is different. We spoke to some other passengers who have been on other flights and they can't get enough of it. The captain's quarters section in the front of the plane served some The flight time was 90 minutes and there is a bathroom on the plane. There is a parking garage in the same building so you don't have to walk far. Thank you, Captain, and thank you Kiki and Madie, for this amazing evening.

Since I was by myself, I was able to be seated at the bar. The vibe here is incredible! It's beautifully decorated and nice and cozy. Perfect for a date night. I must bring my husband back here at some point. As I said, I sat at the bar and Megan the bartender was outstanding! I ordered a drink called Agree to Disagree. I think that was the name. Anyway, it was delicious and because it was happy hour it was half off the regular price of $23. I ordered one oyster and it was fabulous. I only ordered one because I was meeting a group of friends at The Guest House in 30 minutes and I did not want to spoil my appetite. I can't wait to come back here so that I can enjoy the full experience with the band. It's a lovely place and I enjoyed it thoroughly.

We walk in and get sat at the bar instead and get told it's the best they can do as others get sat in the middle. Eventually they got a smaller table for us, but the rest of us had to stand. For a big birthday party today, it was a failed experience. Took ages to get our drinks and it was impossible to get water. Couldn't even get some water for the past 2 hours we were there. The people in the middle tables got ice cold waters, we could barely get two and it was warm. At least the inside was nice, but wow, I would NEVER come back or tell my friends about it. I am ASKING a manager to reach out because this experience was HORRIBLE. Not only were they quick to "judge", but they sure were quick to bring the bill.

And the desserts? Absolutely delicious and a perfect way to end a meal before heading to the gate. The bar experience truly elevates the visit. Bartenders Mahdi, Sara, and Courtney are standouts--warm, attentive, and genuinely skilled at what they do. Excellent service, a Christmas tree upstairs, and no reservations required. Glad they were able to seat us considering we showed up without reservations. Downstairs gets quickly reserved so seats upstairs are where they push overflow patrons. Right outside Flint's doors downstairs there is a staircase which opens up to the upstairs dining area. Service was prompt, and we got our drinks by the time we had our mains decided. I got a glass of red to pair with my steak. My partner had a refreshing cocktail, but it was decent. The highlights of the night were the food. SO MUCH FOOD! And it was TERRIFIC! For starters we got the artichoke hummus. It sounded a bit weird, but all it was was regular hummus with 4 artichoke hearts that were crispy. The artichoke hearts were crisp, but moist, and I could have kept eating those all day. It comes with 1 pita bread. The server told us to order another and we did, turns out we needed it as the pita breads were quite small ($3 +). Sure only 3 bucks, but nickel and dime if you are spending $14 on an app... For mains I got the filet medium rare with a side of regular potatoes. My partner got the salmon skewer with a side of asparagus. Both the dishes were cooked perfectly and they were familiar dishes with a slightly exotic touch to it. Must be the middle eastern part of the restaurant. The steak came with a ganache or accompaniments of middle eastern sides. Can't recall what they were but they were great when I dipped my potatoes in them. It was sour, tart, acidic, kind of like middle eastern soy sauce. The server recommended it to us and we got it. The salmon skewer came with 5 decent sized pieces on it. Great for a small eater or someone who doesn't want their own meal. It too was delicious and had light touches of sauce or smoke on it. The asparagus is a favorite. It was cooked as usual, typical steak side and both me and my partner enjoyed it! For dessert, as it was my partners birthday the server comped the pound cake. While it was delicious, it was definitely the letdown of the meal. It was way too sweet including the layer of cream that it was doused with. The sweat cream wasn't necessary as the pound cake was incredibly sweet itself. Also, the pound cake wasn't soft like normal cake. It was quite dry once you peeled away the creme layer up top. I definitely should have gone with the Chocolate Ganache Tart. But their mess up worked in their favor. I'm definitely coming back for another meal at Flint!
