Totally unprofessional staff. Not only was the waitlist not working correctly, so I'm glad I checked in or else I probably would've waited even longer, seeing the open tables and people who came after me just walking in, but the staff were absolutely terrible. While I was there one of the bartenders yelled out "Call 911! There's a fire!" How could anyone do that anywhere? Let alone a public area and where there's only one small entrance and exit?! Also, don't expect them to get you your orders and if they do, they'll be wrong. Every single time. Thanks to Escape Lounge! Centurion next door was packed so having a lounge to relax and chill before my flight was a life saver! The staff were amazing especially the lady in the check-in area and the guy who cleaned up our table. I was running on 2 hours of sleep and having a place to sit and eat before flying back home was the best part of my trip. They also have good food selection. I got the chicken (not sure if it's teriyaki) and shrimp tempura. I was so stuffed and all of 'em tasted good! Thank you Escape lounge! read more

My friend and I relaxed in the Escape Lounge in Terminal 3 before our flight. There was a line when we went around 1pm on a Monday. Since we were fine sitting at the bar, we didn't wait long. The tables were all pretty full. I thought the food selection was good. We weren't looking for a full meal so the cheeses, pasta salad, pita and hummus worked perfectly for us. There were also some salads, soup and heartier dishes as well. Cookies were also good. We enjoyed some cocktails and the bartender was super friendly and checked a couple times to see if we needed anything. We stop by here with our Priority Pass before our flights with kids. There is a self serve coffee machine and the cappuccino is not bad. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There isn't enough bathrooms here. I recommend using the restrooms outside of Escape.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The servers are attentive and would ask us if we needed anything, along with taking finished dishes away quickly. Nice and quiet here at 5 am. Good offerings for breakfast. We were there until shortly after daybreak. Lots of all gender restrooms to choose from. Staff were keeping the food trays filled and tables cleared and clean. You could imbibe in alcoholic drinks too. More people walked in the later it got. We then made our way to the plane. read more

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The lounge is laid out with individual comphy seats, which I was sat at.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] However no one came by to take my order for over 10 minutes so I went up to the bar. It took a minute to get someone's attention (even though it was empty) but the bartender got me a drink and told me I had to order future ones through my waiter. However no one ever stopped by so I moved to the bar. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I hadn't originally sat there as the seats did not look comfortable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Once at the bar, it took forever for either of the bartenders to help me. I finally waved down a waitress, Mei, and she helped me multiple times (at the bar) as she made drinks for her tables. I took care of her before I left as she was the only bright spot. The food was not great either. The chips were stale and it was a limited selection of options. Sadly, I won't be back next time I fly home to Arizona. read more

This place is inside the Amex Centurion Lounge, B Gates. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Escape is a small area compared to the AmEx Centurion lounge.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If you reserve the spot make sure you will choose if it's AmEx or escape because they have policies that you cannot half on between these two lounges. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We always go to the Centurion lounge but have never experienced trying the Escape lounge. I would say there is no difference between these two except space.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We came at dinner time unfortunately some of them are gone so we have to wait and see if they will refill it. read more

A relatively small, but comfortable airport lounge in Terminal 3 of the Phoenix Sky Harbor airport fits the requirements of being able to relax, have some snacks, and drinks prior to boarding a flight. I used the facilities before an early morning flight and the breakfast entrées available were similar to breakfast at a Hampton Inn or similar hotel: link sausage, fried, diced potatoes, eggs, and pancakes; muffins, bagel, fruits, coffee, juice, and the bar is open! Pretty good lounge! Priority pass access makes it free entry with two guests. We came in for a nice breakfast. The buffet was pretty well stocked with coffee, hot breakfast, and some cold items. No to-go offerings available as far as I could tell. I recommend sitting at the bar, the staff were really lovely to talk to and quick with drinks, even walking by to ask if I wanted to top off my coffee with Bailey's! I was happy to find this lounge in Termnal 3 since Priority Pass wasn't noting any lounges in Term 4 at all. I had already been to the centurion but still had over an hour to kill before my flight. It's to the right as soon as you ascend the escalators from the sky train. Check-in was fast and easy. The guy who greeted me was friendly and also helped with tables and bartending. Food was limited, and all Asian cuisine which made it impossible for anyone with a gluten allergy to have more than boiled eggs. The amaretto sour my server made me was pretty good, but since there wasn't much I could eat, I didn't hang around very long. Overall, it is a decent Escape lounge, though as far as food goes, I've been to others with much better selection and attention to allergens. read more

We got here almost at closing time perhaps about 45 mins before. Entry was easy and service was efficient. Food was ok. There wasn't much left and some of it like the Mac and Cheese was pretty dried out. We got ourselves a small bowl of soup, some chips and salsa and a few pieces of chicken and broccoli casserole. About 10 mins after we got our food, the staff cleared up all the hot food. Passengers that arrived after really didn't have many options other than cereal. My suggestion would be to ensure there is sufficient food (and in good quality) until closing time because there were still plenty of flights that were taking off at that time. read more

Great lounge next to the centurion lounge, accessible for Platinum AE members. If you only can get one person in the Centurion this little escape lounge is a great option. The escape lounge is smaller than the Centurion, I looked around there. The food choices and coffee machine is the same though. Service was friendly and helpful. read more

The size of this lounge is comparable to a Starbucks or small cafe, so it can get crowded if you arrive during a peak time, but even when only a couple seats were available, they still admitted me, which was great. The food at the buffet was not the best but not bad. There was just enough vegetarian option, including soup and salad, to make a quick meal, and there were plenty of outlets to plug in electronic devices. The only issue was that the tables and chairs were a bit close to each other so you will not find too much privacy and even squeeze in between luggage and tables to get in and out. The restroom is also small so you could and up waiting to use it. Otherwise, it's a great option if you're in terminal 3 or willing to make a trip here from another terminal. read more

Stopped by around lunch time on Friday, and there was no wait. It had open walls with a lot of natural light. The decorations were modern. One issue was that their restrooms were closed, so had to drop luggage and go around the hallway to the public restrooms. Food choices were above the average. I had an early morning flight from PHX - SFO, and was able to utilize the escape lounge as a perk of one of my credit cards. The check-in process was quick and the staff was friendly. I made some oatmeal with fruit, grabbed some sausage and a few cups of coffee. While in the lounge I was able to connect to WiFi and download a few videos to watch during my flight. While I was there the staff checked on me which I really appreciated. The service was a 5, however the food/nonalcoholic beverages options were pretty limited. I typically go to the Centurion Lounge or an airline lounge before a flight out of Phoenix Sky Harbor Terminal 4 though one time, I wanted to avoid a long wait and give the Escape Lounge a try. I'm very glad I did as I found that they serve food out of the same kitchen as the Centurion Lounge, is less busy than the Centurion Lounge, and has some other amenities and perks that I didn't recall at the Centurion Lounge. Now, I use both lounges interchangeably depending on my schedule, availability, and if I feel like being surrounded by people. Both the Escape Lounge and the Centurion Lounge have an entrance near the high numbered B-gates. You enter an enclosed area and go into the particular line for whichever lounge you want to enter. Often, the Centurion Lounge has had to call you back from a waitlist when there are too many people. I've never had to do this with the Escape Lounge. From there, I can take the elevator or stairs and turn a corner to go right into the Escape Lounge. There often isn't a person at the entrance to the Escape Lounge so you can walk right in. Though note: if you go to one of the two lounges, you cannot go to the other one on that particular day. You then are in a lounging area with comfortable chairs before getting to the bar. The food and non-alcoholic drinks are to the left along with the restrooms. The Escape Lounge is not a large large lounge; however, it has anything you would want in an airport premium lounge. Entrance to the Escape room includes unlimited fast WiFi, charging ports and power outlets, print, scan and copy services, Pressreader (access to 7,000+ newspapers and magazines), and complimentary food and beverages). I have always found hot food items and a variety of cold food items though with less staff than the Centurion Lounge, the food isn't always replaced as quickly as it could. Even so, I have enjoyed the variety of food, which is more than most of the airline lounges. Again, the quality of the food is very good as it comes from the same kitchen as the Centurion Lounge. In the seating area, there are also a half dozen or so jars with candies, pretzels, chocolate, and more that you can help yourself to (which is a larger selection than the Centurion Lounge). According to their website (https://escapelounges.com), Escape Lounges accept guests flying with any airline or class. Children and babies are welcome to enter the lounge, with those aged 24 months and under entering for free. You can pre-book from $32, walk up and pay at the door, or enter with special access using an applicable membership or credit card or gain access through your airline. Compatible cards and programs include various American Express credit cards, the Priority Pass program, the Dragonpass program, the TAV Passport Card program, and Dreamfolks Card program. I use the American Express Platinum card to access the Escape Lounge and find that I can bring guests with me whereas you can only do that with the Centurion Lounge if you meet a certain spending threshold. Also, Centurion Card Members receive a premium complimentary sparkling wine with proof of the Centurion card. read more
