We had a great first time experience and look forward to many more lounge visits, here at AZ! What a treat, so fancy! I checked in with the kind staff in front, showed my Chase Sapphire Reserve credit card, ID, boarding pass and I was added to the waitlist, about 40 minutes wait to get in. I got a text message to check in at counter, in which was quick. I also got a cool charger form Sapphire Reserve, which I used on the plane. We got a nice table with window view of planes for 3, I looked around the lounge to see what was being offered before I started to make my plate. Super nice! Buffet style & It was Mexican theme, there was a cute food truck located outside to order off the menu ( tacos) . I am not sure how the daily menu goes, I didn't get to ask the staff. Alcoholic beverages could be ordered on your phone, after scanning QR code, drinks arrived quick and only one drink per person at time. I loved my specialty cocktail, strong and smooth, I had 2 and could go for more but we had to leave for flight. All in all, such a wonderful lounge, perfect to have a bite, meal, drinks, relaxing before our flight and keep in mind as longs as it is withing 3 hours of your flight time to access the lounge. The vegan offerings and smoked cannelli beans were welcomed, but the roasted Brussels sprouts were not cooked through (raw!) The Taco truck was really good, but the really good tasting mushroom one I had was slightly over-stuffed. Their small parfaits- a nice ending! The bar staff: This is where the world needs to take a step back and learn something. This team is REALLY GOOD. They made some first rate drinks, gave servings quickly and politely, and were extremely helpful. They and the wait staff were constantly buzzing and just producing - ***EXCELLENT WORK!*** Everything was clean, well executed, and their demeanor must be complimented. Thank you! Thank you! Even with the amount of traffic an airport lounge sees, the space is kept looking polished and comfortable. The food and beverage selection is another major highlight. There's a thoughtful variety of premium food options along with a full bar featuring cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits. I especially appreciate being able to grab something substantial to eat and a nice drink before a flight instead of settling for typical airport food. American Express also highlights the lounge's locally inspired menu and seasonal offerings, which gives the experience a little more personality. The lounge has a comfortable mix of seating and work areas, along with Wi-Fi, TVs, flight monitors, and even a shower suite for travelers who want to freshen up before their flight. It's located in Terminal 4 on the upper level across from Gate B22, which makes it especially convenient when flying out of the B gates. Overall, I really enjoy having a quiet, comfortable place to step away from the busy airport, grab a good meal and drink, and relax before boarding. The cleanliness, food and beverage program, and overall atmosphere make this one of my favorite airport stops at PHX. Definitely a lounge I'm always happy to visit before a flight.

It was early on a Saturday so we didn't have a long wait. (Which has also become quite unusual). We arrived at the end of breakfast and were there for lunch. We did nibble a little fruit but really, we were waiting for lunch. And what a great idea that was. The buffet was jammed with a variety of choices, something for everyone. (I've had some pretty lousy food lately - yes, that's you, CLT). Everything I tried was great. The brisket was a standout. The lemon cake was quite worthy of its calories. There was only one bartender so the bar line was a little long but the pours were generous and the specialty drink, the layover, was worth the wait. The only issue wasn't the lounge's fault though they could do something about it. Children. Screaming. Running amok. Screaming. It's 100% the parent's fault but a quiet reminder (or, better yet, a threat) from the manager may have calmed things down a bit. Perhaps a family room could be added. The PHX Centurion Lounge is a step above many of the other clubs. It's definitely worth a visit.

The bar was fully stocked as well. The bathrooms were on the smaller side but clean and well maintained. The food is nothing remarkable, but then again neither is any Admirals Club location that I've tried. It really depends on the day, but even during the guacamole service (which also doubles as an avocado toast bar), it is still lackluster. Bagels are dry If there's any place to hang out, it might be the bar. Assuming one can snag a seat, whomever the bartender is that day is typically the key to a quality experience. The WiFi is decent and paired with a nice drink, can be a solid way to enjoy a layover and be the start of pre-flight shenanigans. In addition to it being crowded, it can also be noisy. Given how busy PHX already is, the claustrophobic vibe is most definitely real. Anyone traveling in groups should reconsider coming here, but solo travelers who can tolerate the chaos might do well with some noise cancelling phones and with a little luck, a chair and a table to enjoy and pass the time.

There were also plenty of food options nearby, which is always nice when you have time to kill before a flight. I noticed information booths throughout the airport where you could ask questions and get help figuring out where you needed to go, which would be especially helpful if you're unfamiliar with the airport. Pickup was a little confusing outside. Our friend who was picking us up accidentally ended up on the Uber side instead of the area where she was supposed to meet us. Thankfully, it wasn't particularly busy, so it wasn't a huge issue, but I could see it being more frustrating during a busy time. One downside was that the chairs at our gates didn't have charging ports, which would have been nice while we were waiting to board. That seems like such a small thing, but when you're traveling, having somewhere to charge your phone can make a big difference.
