Best bar we went to this weekend! We loved Lyndsey the bartender so much! Food was delicious. Great jukebox. We had the best time!

What a different bar in a quite strange part of PHX almost like the city of Vernon California lol. Anyways this was a cool and very normal local bar for the area and I can honestly say everyone seemed very down to earth normal people everyone was just having a good time. By the time we got here we were starving since the last place we were at failed to bring our food. I ordered a salad it was your basic iceberg lettuce, croutons, and chunks of cucumber with ranch dressing and my boyfriend ordered a pulled pork sandwich with french fries he said it wasn't too bad. The bartender was nice it wasn't by any means a bad time at all.

We stumbled upon this bar one Saturday while out running errands .. the kind of place that does not judge you for having jack Daniels and Diet Coke before noon .. the regulars don't care that you've stopped in.. the pop corn is free and the vibe is easy going The bartender told us the wings and fish & chips were good so we returned on a Friday for happy hour and fridays special Fish & chips.. Lindsey was our bartender.. she kept our drinks full and Bill was the chef .. he was funny and entertaining.. the food was hot and the fish was fried right .. the wings smelled amazing (Marty sitting next to us ordered them and when he was concerned about the heat .. Bill brought him a baby spoon so he could try it) and yes we made fun of Marty as a group We will definitely be back to try the wings .. and listen to Casey Brooks from 5-8.. cherry bombs are $1.. the green tea with Jamison, peach snapps & lemonade is delicious This is a dive bar .. it might be Smokey and dark inside and rough around the edges but they are welcoming of outsiders .. thanks for the cold drinks, good food and laughs AND Bill see you next time..

It has that dive bar vibe but the food, service, and drinks were great. We played some pool, drank some drinks, and had some good food.

Coach House is a year-round Christmas-themed bar. Located in Old Town Scottsdale, a block or two away from Fifth Avenue, there's a parking lot that was pretty full when I arrived. If you can't find a spot, you can find some free street parking close by (max of three hours). Ambiance (4/5): A lot of holiday pop-ups these days have entrance fees and expensive holiday-themed cocktails. You'll find none of that pretentiousness here. There's no entrance fee and no elaborate cocktails. The reason to visit is the multitude of Christmas lights that adorn both the patio and the indoor area. There are also a bunch of TVs which makes it a good spot to check out the game. It's mostly a patio bar, but there is some room indoors too. As well as Golden Tee and another game. Service (4.5/5): There's a bouncer checking your ID before you come in. From there, there's a larger bar inside where you can order a drink from one of two bartenders (at least when I was there) or a smaller outdoor bar with one bartender (at least when I was there). There's a cash discount (which I always appreciate). What that means is that they don't charge you tax if you pay by cash. While the bar was busy, the bartenders working were efficient. Food (N/A): Coach House doesn't serve food but they did have a Mexican food truck posted up on the patio while I was there. I didn't have any food during my visit though. Drinks (N/A): Since The Coach House is a dive bar, expect a full bar, but don't expect fancy cocktails. Ordering simple mixed drinks or beer is the way to go. They were out of Montucky Cold Snacks so I went with a Woodchuck Cider for $6. Affordable prices in the heart of Scottsdale... I'll take that any day of the week! Speaking of Christmas miracles, while I was sipping my beer on the patio, I saw two black SUVs pull up. A group of people came out of the cars and there was one person who I immediately recognized. Former NBA MVP and multiple NBA all-star Steve Nash! As a big basketball fan, having a brew at the same bar as a Phoenix Suns legend was pretty epic. On Christmas nonetheless.

Cute dive bar in Scottsdale…read more I like to pop in around the holidays for some festive fun. The place is decorated throughout the winter months and is usually crowded. Seams to be a lot of regulars. I find both the bar staff and security staff to be friendly. Don't expect to find a nice wine or any but they have plenty of beer and can make most cocktails. They do have mini bottles of Cook's sparkling wine if you are looking for some bubbles but no prosecco. Hit it up for the holidays for the lights and fun crowds.

I sent an email directly to the company (management@mothertuckerstavern.com) on Monday, April 6th…read more2026 in an attempt to have this resolved without posting a negative review. Unfortunately, I have not heard back. Below is a copy of that email: Good morning, We came in on Saturday, April 4th, 2026 and ordered the Two 4 One Bubbles special. This is something we have ordered frequently in your establishment, most recently on March 8th, 2026. Every time we have purchased this, the Wycliff bottles have been $25. This means that we should receive 2 bottles for $25.01 based on the special listed on your menu. When we received the check, we were charged $50.01 for the 2 bottles. We pointed out the mistake to the bar tender who said the price was correct. We informed her that we have come here approximately once/month for the last year and the cost has never been $50 for a bottle of Wycliff. She asked another employee to come over and we explained the same issue to her. She (we did not get her name) said she has been a Manager there for several years and that has always been the price. I told her we have ordered this special over the last year and we would never pay $50 for a bottle of Wycliff. She refused to adjust our check. I asked her to show me on a menu where a bottle of Wycliff costs $50. Of course, she was not able to do that because it doesn't exist. We generally are very generous with our tip, as we consider this a good deal and the staff is usually great. - I have attached a copy of the receipt. We would like to continue to frequent Mother Tuckers, as we have always had a good time and like to bring friends visiting from out of town. I am hopeful this was an oversight by your employees and a refund will be put back on my credit card for the overcharge.

One word - scrumtrulescent…read more This is a slang term coined on Saturday Night Live meaning "transcendent and fantastic beyond description". Not often would an adjective of this nature be fittingly applied to a dive bar; let alone one amidst the sea of posh opulence on display in the Old Town nightlife scene. However, in my experience, I can think of no better word to describe the experience, personnel, libations, and fare I've encountered over the years at DJs. Typically, I'd refrain from penning an updated review until I've had a more noteworthy share about a business. However, the courageous keyboard warrior, S.L. (which I assume stands for "Some Loser") anonymously and publicly critiqued my subjective opinion and called me to action. Firstly, S.L., thank you for the feedback. Your unfettered drivel sloshed across this Yelp page like a vomit spewing head a la the Exorcist has given me pause. I do want the opinions I share to be helpful for the Yelp user community. Perhaps, using the word "shithole" in quotes did not demonstrably articulate the ironic sense in which it was intended. Or perhaps, it went over your head. Unsurprising given the nearly unreadable block of text filled with all caps sentences that reads like a ranting child which comprises your review. By chance, using "douchebaggery" in a sentence was inaccurate. There is a fluidity inherent in language as a manner of conveying meaning regardless of a word being recognized by an institution like the Oxford English Dictionary. Case-in-point, my use of "scrumtrulescent". However, your hilariously pedantic claim that "douchebaggery" is a fake word is an easily Googleable falsehood given that "DOUCHEBAGGERY" WAS ADDED TO THE OXFORD ENGLISH DICTIONARY IN 2018. You should be proud, a self-own of that magnitude is both difficult and rare! All said, upon reflection, my previous 5-star review stands and represents my opinion of this establishment. If you don't like the restaurant, go somewhere else. It doesn't help the Yelp community when you attack others' opinions.

However, the walls have a counter with the stools, so you can order food and eat there! It's super crowded all the time (this was our third attempt getting my inside across 2 days), but so worth it! Our drinks were made quickly, but ordering them was a little trickier. They didn't have many people working (2? 3?) so it was easier to order at the bar then flag down a server. With it being a small space, it was would've been nice to order from a server. We had the prickly pear margaritas and the house margarita. While they tasted good, I'm not sure how authentic they were. But they were served icy cold, so can't complain too much! They were also a decent price. We also had their red pork and green pork tamales. The red was my favorite, with a hint of spice and flavorful pork. The green one was good too. We also had their nachos, which were pretty classic and appreciated by the group! Food came out in about 20-30 minutes. Prices were reasonable too. The best was the live music-- It's free! Lots of country classics. I would arriving around 1/1:15 pm, finding a seat, getting a drink and ordering food, and listening to the well-played tunes.
