I came here Saturday for DJ Lex. Had to order food since it was during dinner time. I got the pretzel bites and the loaded waffles fries. It came out pretty fast. Our server initially told us he wasn't sure if the kitchen was still open but was so glad they took our order. He brought the food to our table and we devoured it. It was tasty and arrived hot. It was the perfect appetizer to hold us over until the concert was over.

Plating is absolutely GORGEOUS. Really nice ambiance, music, seating, area. The food was pretty bland. 1 cent champagne for ordering an entree, very very enticing!!!! What a great addition to the menu. Service was excellent, our server Kendall went above and beyond and made our experience there amazing.

I've been here a few times now and every visit has been really enjoyable. The food is delicious, and one of my favorite things is their Sunday breakfast deal where you order a breakfast entrée and it comes with a penny champagne bottle and your choice of juice. That is honestly hard to beat and feels pretty unique. And even though I don't remember what I ordered, I do remember finishing my breakfast so I know it was delicious. This is a great place to catch up with friends. The ambiance is really nice, it's outdoors, there's plenty of seating, and they're good at accommodating larger groups. I know a lot of people who host birthday brunches here, even with bigger parties, and it always seems to work out. There's also a bartender, which is a plus. I also really like that it's not overwhelmingly loud. Some places lean heavy into that vibe, but here you can actually talk and enjoy your time together. At the same time, they do host special DJ nights, and I've been to a few of their Bad Bunny nights on weekends, which are a lot of fun and a totally different energy. Overall, it's a fun spot that works for both relaxed brunches and livelier nights out. Definitely a place I'll keep coming back to.

Sunbar's an ideal place for brunch, especially since each entree comes with a bottle of champagne for mimosas. The brunch menu is small but full of promising dishes. Not a single person at my table complained about their meal, and I was really happy with the brunch special I got! -- smoked salmon bagel. I don't believe this is part of Sunbar's menu all the time, but I really wish it were because I enjoyed it :) The vibes here are cool. There are live DJ's here during brunch, making for a nice outing with friends.

Walked over to Sunbar after having sushi next door. After passing by this place earlier and hearing the music, my friends and I all wanted to check it out. The dj was playing some really good music! We grabbed a round of drinks at the bar and sat at one of the bigger tables. We were outdoors but the misting system was on so it helped a bit. We got a second round and as we were close to being done, the power went out in the area! We had to wait a bit so staff could figure out how to close everyone out. They were eventually able to find a way and we headed to the next spot indoors with ac lol. Each round was $51 for 5 drinks. Not bad! This would be a nice patio bar when it's cooler for sure. Especially, if it's the same dj playing the same type of music!

    Is the patio pet friendly?

What time does brunch on the weekends go until?

Seems like they flex the end time as long as they are busy. I'll say my experience was I showed up at 3:30 and they had recently stopped serving brunch.

Do they have a phone number for take out?

Afterwards, he mentioned that he tasted it and agreed about our comments- I appreciate that level of attention. Shortly after, the food arrived. Spicy pork tacos for me, and BLTA for my wife. The tacos looked a little overdressed. I was so wrong. Flavor and texture were balanced perfectly. The tortillas were firm, but again, perfectly suited to the juicy pork, that had a teriyaki vibe. Sprouts, carrot and cucumber toppings worked well, despite my expectations. The BLTA was HUGE. Great flavor. Both entrees were ordered with sweet potato fries. Unusual cut to them, but seasoned perfectly. I paired mine with chipotle aioli and ate every last one. My only complaint is that I'm only spending one evening in the Phoenix area, and won't be back soon. I would eat this food three times a week without hesitation.

And the Alex mocktail was SO tart and delicious! It tasted just like those fruity fruit rolls haha! I added a photo because reference! Haha The restaurant was a little smaller, so seating was pretty busy. The girls working were dressed pretty casually in T-shirts and gym shorts. I guess that's the style they're going for? There is plenty of bar space if you're popping in for a drink.. of course, the actual bar that runs along the shelves of liquor, and there is also a bar on the other side of a roll-up door, perfect for people who come with dogs. There's also a bar space that runs along the window that separates the small dining room and the patio. There are a few tables inside as well as some bigger tables on the patio. The patio is nice with lots of shrubs right outside the rail. The murals on the wall are pretty darn cool - - they're like enlarged historic photos of the area. I love them! And I'm not sure who's giant face is hanging on the ceiling but it's short a spark conversation. The menu here has a little something for everyone. There's the regular loaded fries and wings, salads, and a nice election burgers. We ordered the Philly Salad and the Very Summer Salad with a side order of fries. They make their own ranch, and it is good. I will say they don't seem to skim on salad ingredients either - - the Philly salad was covered with shaved beef, and my berry salad had a lot of chicken and tons of blue cheese. The fries were delicious - - slightly seasoned and crispy. This place is clearly dog friendly. In fact the day we went there was a sweet Pitbull named Daisy who literally hopped up on a bar stool and sat there like a little angel the entire time. The bar had a dog full of water that they sat down on the counter next to her owner's beer. They also have dog biscuits to give. It made my day to see that sweet little dog hanging at the bar having a treat. This really is kind of a spot that feels like it's probably the hangout spot of many people. Cocktails were made well, I'd come back and try others. Our friends suggested The Hudson which worked for me, it's been sitting on my list for a while. Bar food was pretty good. Next time I'll try a burger since people like them a lot in reviews, and I love a good burger. This visit we had the carne asada cheesesteak with some onion rings and boneless wings. Both items were good. I think for me, 4 stars seems right since there's an element of having to order at the bar and then come back up if anything is needed. Making it feel somewhat self service but I'm sure we tipped like full service. And at first we were trying to figure out the menu, where to order, and apparently we had a learning curve that night. Brains were tired. We sat outside with the misters at night. That was totally fine. It wasn't one of the nasty hot days.

My server, likely named Natasha, was immediately warm and personable, which set a good tone. I ordered the fish tacos, roasted Brussels sprouts, and charred green beans. The dishes arrived in about 13 minutes--a reasonable turnaround--but I was surprised that the tortillas were cold, and the green beans were only lukewarm. The portion sizes are modest, which actually works well for solo dining since there's no pressure to share. While my server was excellent, the overall front-of-house experience had some rough edges. Walking in through the patio, I encountered a host stand blocking a door--odd given that the restaurant has a more attractive main entrance on the opposite side. Staff were sometimes gathered near the front while guests waited, and at one point, employees were eating at the bar top rather than in a back area, which felt unprofessional for an otherwise stylish space. Eureka! has potential, and the food has bright spots, but details like presentation temperature and guest perception of staff behavior are where the experience falters.

The space is so bright and sunny. I love the cute style of the little diner lots of yellows to help you wake up. There is a bar area to sit inside at a big picture window overseeing the Novus Place structure and greenspace. There is a lot of outdoor seating for the nice weather months. They have a drink bar for special cocktail drinks and coffees. They had little league championships on the tvs. The menu doesn't have a lot of vegetarian choices listed but they do have many gluten free options. I special ordered my chiliquiles without chicken with no issues. The waitress even offered to check on the sauce to see if there were any animal based broths in the recipe. The dish was so flavorful topped with sour cream, and very fresh tomatoes and green onions in the salsa. The tortilla chips were perfectly done not soggy like they can get if not prepared carefully. I ordered my eggs scrambled and they were very cheesy and so delicious. I ordered a single pancake as pancakes are my favorite breakfast food. I can say it was perfectly fluffy and tasty and I am picky about my pancakes. My husband ordered a California Omelet he said it was absolutely delicious with very fresh vegetables. His exact words were this was night and day from the first time we came. I am so happy to say that we will definitely be returning, confidently bring out of state visitors, and recommend this cute diner to others. For locals I noticed they offer a day with 20% for students and faculty at ASU. I am very pleasantly surprised by the difference from the first experience. The management was very respectful and receptive. I appreciate it so much when a business can work to make things right. Thank you for the wonderful breakfast experience I really wanted to like this little brunch place in the Novus Plaza. As a vegetarian it is often hard to find good choices at a standard restaurant. Usually breakfast, brunch style is the best for me because I still eat dairy and eggs. I can't tell you how disappointed I was with the food. The menu was cute and had trendy food from their "As Seen on TV" menu from TV shows featuring certain recipes. I had high hopes as the reviews have been overall good. So after searching the menu for a good vegetarian choice I could only find pancakes and had to order my protein * scrambled eggs separately to fill out my meal. Saying the quality of my food was horrendous is an understatement. I haven't seen burnt pancakes since I was making them myself at 10 years old. Not only did they burn them but they served them to me that way. The cook obviously realized it because he put the worst burnt one on the bottom of the stack. I was so hungry so I tried to eat them but just couldn't yuck. . I enjoyed my scrambled eggs and watched my husband enjoy his bisuits and gravy which he said was decent. The server (singular) was so busy. He was running the bar area and the tables. Not totally his fault but he didn't get back to check on us until my husband had almost finished his entire meal and I still had burnt pancakes. He offered to get me something else but there was nothing else on the menu for me and the experience put me off of pancakes. The menu online looked like it had many more choices maybe the Tempe restaurant limited their menu, I'm not sure. I ended up getting a refund for my pancakes and going home hungry. The restaurant itself was adorable, it had a retro-ish vibe and the server really was trying to get to the 4 or 5 tables that had customers at the time.
