Fun little venue! Had been here once nearly a decade ago and hadn't been back until tonight and really enjoyed it! Bar has a nice selection, plenty of events here and the sound was good! Clean and the staff was super nice, bartenders, people checking tickets, security, all good! Fun space and hope to come to more events here in the future!

Great experience watching a concert here last night. They have drinks available for purchase but we did not get food. Service is great, they are organized. The venue is nice and intimate. We were seated in the bleachers and had a great view of the artist. Recommend you come early to get a good seat as it did get very crowded and busy as it got later

Wouldn't let my partner sit in the lounge. Deadly hot outside! DISGUSTING!

Terrible experience at this particular venue! I was at the Haute & Freddy Show last night. Online, it said that guests without a ticket can still sit on the patio and lounge. I get really sleepy and didn't want to risk falling asleep on the road on my way back to Tucson after the show, so, I thought great! My husband can drive me and he'll just wait in the lounge until the show is over. They would not follow what their website mentioned, and would not let him sit on the porch or lounge. It was deadly temperatures outside! Absolutely disgusting that you guys wouldn't allow it, after we had already paid for overpriced parking. Secondly, I felt the old lady at the podium, once you got inside the doors was singling me out and picking on me. I barely walked through the door and she's telling me not to block the entrance. How am I blocking the entrance when I literally just walked through? Then, after I was inside the venue and leaving the merch booth, she's all hollering at me (and me ONLY) that she needs to see my wrist band. Like how the hell do you think I got through the front security/door, and the second entrance before the curtain you numpty!? Of course I have a wristband! Unbelievable.

It's fun here, lots to park in and street parking all around. The bartender at front beer is super cool and friendly. The bartender in the back where the shows happen is cool and friendly too. The waitress in the front room, the restaurant is also very nice and friendly. I'm like the ambience, it's a dim low light speakeasy type vibe. The soundtrack was so good, all old school punk music, talking heads, roxette and some 80's too. We saw a candlelight show in the back and it was awesome. The seating layout was cool and the big stage was easy to see from everywhere. We sat in the bleachers and could see great. Bring a cushion so your booty is happy. Def visit the crescent when you're downtown. It also has outdoor patio and dogs may be allowed out there, so great place to stop in for a bev on a late night stroll !

Went with my girlfriend to enjoy the moth performances, so good! What a cool kind group of people, super encouraging and supportive environment of Simply good people! We were surprisingly impressed by the food, I'm not a burrito person but the steak burrito was great. It was a little spicy with the peppers so I would do without that next time if that's an option and the dipping sauces that came with were two spicy for us. Would love a mild option but otherwise no complaints! Will definitely be back!

THEY GOT RID OF THE RESTAURANT BASICALLY AND I WAS SO MAD BUT TODAY I FOUND OUT THEY TURNED THEIR ORIGINAL COCINA 10 RESTAURANT INTO A NEW RESTAURANT DOWN THE STREET. Attached to Cornish and valley bar is CONDESA!!!!!!! It's the exact menu from cocina10 @crecent ballroom. Thank god!!!! I was really really super sad they stopped serving food. They sometimes serve food during the concerts they have but I never know if it's open or not. So Condesa is my new fav place and I will be going to Condesa often! I was just at crescent today and literally last weekend as well all for live music. I love making them make me a non alcoholic cocktail.

Proof of 3 tickets in the Ticketmaster app with scannable barcodes

3 GA tickets in my Ticketmaster app, complete with barcodes. One ticket was purchased from stubhub but immediately available. Every concert I've been to lately is really fussy about the scanning, can't be a screenshot anymore... tell me why this busted off venue had a print out on paper. Shady af and so RUDE and lowkey ugly about their janky system. Hate this place never going back. Your Ticketmaster barcodes don't matter when they have a printed ticket list from 1999. Bleh can't say enough about it. Ps the concert was sold out hence buying the 3rd ticket on Stubhub for 100 dollars. But then sold us a ga sticker at the door for 40. Make it make sense. I thought it was sold out.

Ask the Community - Crescent Ballroom

Does the crescent still serve food?

When we went a month ago, they just had a food truck set up on the outside patio area. It had street tacos and simple order food like quesadillas too.

What time does trivia start on Sundays?

Is this place 18+ or 21+?

Usually 21+, as far as I can tell.

Do you ever have open mic for rapping?

not that I know of. great tacos tho.

Carry On actually called me to confirm our "tickets," which I thought was really cute. The whole experience kind of started a couple of days before our actual "departure time." They also reminded us to park in the Renaissance Square parking garage under Wren & Wolf, and they were able to validate our parking for three hours. We had to go to Wren & Wolf first to pick up our Carry On tickets. We got there early, and they let us relax in their couch area while we waited for our departure time. The walk from the Renaissance Square parking garage to Wren & Wolf was easy. You just follow the signs, and the whole walk is inside the building, which was perfect because it was so hot outside. While we were waiting, we could order drinks and chill, just like being in an airport lounge. When it was time for departure, we walked outside the building, and Carry On was right around the corner. You won't miss it because you'll see the Carry On Air flight schedule above the gate door. Right on time, we were greeted by a friendly flight attendant. Once we walked into the cabin, it really felt like we were inside a first-class flight lounge. Our flight attendant served us drinks right after we sat down, and we also ordered more cocktails and snacks from their menu. The captain spoke to us over the speaker, just like on a real flight. As we took off, we could even feel the seats moving. Looking out the "window," we saw buildings, clouds surrounding us, and even experienced turbulence I'm not going to tell you too much because I don't want to ruin the experience. I'll let you try it for yourself. I think it's definitely worth giving it a try. At least for us, we loved it.

It also features a lot of great art that fits really highlights the Mexican bar vibe. The waitress/bar tender/ agave expert was very welcoming and know a lot about their tequilas and mescal option. I love me some smokey mescal, I dont remember thet name of the drink but it had some kind of elote triple sec or something like that along with Mescal and it was quite tasty. Trust me I was in no state to remember ingredients but this is from my foggy memory. I also got a pick of the cool ice blocks that has an Agave inlay that they put in the tumbler with your drink. I will definitely be going back for their wide Mescal and tequila options. I didn't see food in the bar, but they have a food truck out front that smelled amazing, but sometimes I simply dont want to eat when there are plenty of drinks to be had. But, if you're looking for a really cool bar, KWSC is for you. I stopped by on a week day evening around 8:30 p.m. Located in Roosevelt Row, while there isn't parking, I found free parking on the street a few minutes away on foot. Ambiance (4.5/5): My type of spot. Dimly lit with a speakeasy vibe. There are eight or so seats at the bar, and the rest of your seating options consist of comfortable chairs and sofas. You'll see a lot of photos of people's bums on the walls lol. This is indeed part of the appeal. For free, if you would like, they will take a polaroid of your butt and memorialize you eternally on the walls. While I didn't do that, if that's up your alley, go for it. Service (2/5): This is the main area of improvement. After being seated, I was greeted promptly and got my first cocktail promptly. From there, things fell apart. I had to grab the bartender's attention to order my second drink and to close out. It was a week day and they weren't busy. And there were two bartenders. A lack of attentiveness. When I closed out, I noticed that the cocktails were both $2 more expensive than what was listed on the menu. When I inquired, I was told that the menus were outdated... umm what? If you're not going to re-print your menus, give people a heads-up when they arrive. I understand that most people won't notice, but this is deception. Food (N/A): I was on a liquid diet. If you're trying to eat here, all they have is snacks. The menu doesn't specify but I'm thinking it's probably chips or somethign like that. Drinks (4/5): A lengthy, and interesting, cocktail list. Similar to a speakeasy, you're going to see creativity and an interesting blend of flavors here. The most popular drink is Fuck Nazis. We're seeing a theme here. KWSC is an interesting spot. For various dollar amounts, you can get funny things outside of the polaroids of your bum. My first cocktail was great. My second one, a tiki drink, not so much. The menu said that there would be some flame action happening. It didn't. Just another example of the service falling short. Back then, the cocktails felt intentional and creative, not just rushed out for volume. The staff remembered regulars, conversations flowed naturally, and the whole place had this warm, eclectic energy that made you want to stay for hours. Even on busy nights, it somehow still felt personal. Unfortunately, over the last couple of years, the vibe has changed quite a bit. The drinks just aren't as consistently good as they used to be, especially considering the prices now. Service feels far more transactional and impersonal, and the atmosphere that once made this place stand out has faded into something much more generic. It feels less like a neighborhood gem and more like a stop on a nightlife circuit.
