It's the perfect place to take someone you actually like talking to. Cell phones aren't allowed and it's a much needed break from having your attention hijacked by an inanimate device. The vibe is basically "Rich Grandpa's Hunting Lodge on Shrooms." There are taxidermy animals everywhere, but they're wearing jewelry or holding martini glasses, and look like they've seen things they can't unsee. It's like the animals had a coup, took over the mansion, and started a high-end cocktail program. It's dark, moody, and fancy enough that you forget you're in downtown Phoenix. In all seriousness though, I love this place and go as often as time allows.

The entrance is Wren and Wolf & Trophy room is tucked away inside. Don't let this exterior fool you.

This is by far my favorite speakeasy. Reservations are a must! The service is top tier, extremely friendly, very helpful. You can't take phones inside each room you do have to lock up your phone, however you can take pictures in the hallways. Only reason I'm not posting those are to preserve the privacy of my friends but you can get great pictures near the trophy wall etc

Was very grateful to have a free Saturday night to snag a reservation here. Reading as one of the top cocktail bars in Phoenix I can certainly see why! After checking in, you're lead away to a secret door that unless you know it's there it's like you're being whisked to the unknown. You're met with a wall of library card catalog. This is where you will lock your phone away during the experience. Yes NO PHONES ALLOWED. I actually loved this concept to disconnect. While I went solo and people watched, it would be a great place for a date or quality time with someone without the distraction. Once your phone is locked away (you keep the key you have access to it as needed outside the bar) you're shown behind the curtains. Adorned with an array of awards and a large bear keeping watch, you're seated and presented with an extensive drink menu! I mean you have options. Mocktails available as well! Note there is no food here so eat before if needed or head up to Wren and Wolf for dinner after. Great place for either pre dinner or post dinner drinks. Well crafted high quality cocktails with unique ingredients and names. I won't give away all the secrets here but you won't go away thirsty! Very pleasant servers and bartenders ensure you have a delightful time. Reservations highly recommended. You will have 90 min for your reservations which is plenty for a drink or two. Walk ins welcomed based on availability but just do yourself a favor and make reservation! The place not to be seen when in the PHX area for a classy cocktail!

Finally got to check the trophy room speak easy in wren and wolf! I loved the concept. It's a 90 minutes experience and you aren't allowed to have your phones. I went on a first date and it was very nice and intimate, great drinks, brown leather, small space with dim lighting and well lite bar. We had a great time and really got to focus on our conversation so I will definitely be back. The servers were on it with the drinks and they have cute names and are more spirit forward. We didn't have a reservation but was able to get in on a Wednesday night with a 30 minute wait for 2. I think it's worth checking out and disconnecting

We had a really nice experience at Trophy room. Really cool vibe and decor inside and out. The drink menu was very themed to the experience and our server was very through in explaining the drinks and her take on the flavors and recommendations. There is no food in the Trophy Room.

LOVE LOVE LOVE..... this spot has definitely added to my new travel addiction, finding speakeasies. I have been to several and thus far this is my favorite. Could only handle two drinks because I have other things to do this evening, but they absolutely did not disappoint. The ambience was wonderful, great music, great service & a little history to go along with my tour. As a heads up, you cannot bring your cell phone into the bar area, but they will allow you to take pictures in the area proceeding it. I was able to take pictures of the card catalog style lockers, where you can safely lock up your phone.

Always a nice intimate place to have a casual cocktail and festive one during this time of the year , I was disappointed I didn't get a ginger bread cookie with my drink

Love this Speakeasy, Great CS, Great Drinks, Great Ambiance, Very Clean, Romantic and Quiet. It's pricey but worth the experience, then have dinner at Wren & Wolf after your Cocktail in Trophy Room.

What a fun experience. You'd think the no-photo-allowed concept would be a real bummer for someone who enjoys documenting everything like I do, but I liked the novelty of it. The room is very beautiful and the craft cocktails are tasty. Lots of attention to detail, and some very attentive staff. Still lots of photo ops possible in the entrance hallway, where photos are permitted. Do not miss the bathroom, possibly the most unique one in all of Phoenix! Easy to get seats on the spot on a Monday evening. You'd probably want a reservation on evenings that are a bit busier.

this speakeasy was the highlight of my trip! From the moment I arrived, I knew I was in for a unique experience. The entrance is a clever nod to its prohibition-era roots, complete with a secret passageway disguised as a bear hunter's hideout. It adds an adventurous flair to the evening that's both thrilling and nostalgic. Once inside, the ambiance is pure magic. The dim lighting casts a warm, intimate glow over the room, perfect for cozying up with friends or a special someone. The decor is meticulously curated, blending vintage charm with modern sophistication.Drinks were a great experience and I loved that you have to lock your phones away before entering. They do not serve food but this is locked inside a restaurant if you did want to eat before or after. Great service if you haven't checked it out make sure to stop by. Made a reservation prior which is my preference and makes things easy.

This Place was amazing from the ambiance and vibe .. If you're looking for a place that offers craft cocktails with great conversation , this place is that . Alexis was our bartender and was very professional and knowledgeable about all the cocktails on the menu . I would definitely come back .

Many of which do not contain additives. I won't lie, I thought I was a big fan until I realized I didn't recognize a lot of the tequilas they had on hand. Downstairs is a whole different vibe. Custom craft cocktails, dim lighting with artwork, and more make it feel like an upscale NYC spot in your basement. I did 2 of my favorites, Paloma De Guayaba with the custom block name etched and the Baya Nueva. While in the Cantina, I had to order my friend the Basura (trash), but that wasn't the case... then again, it is served in a plastic bag, and is definitely a throwback to my early 20's of gettin' lit!!!! It was busy, but not packed, which made the service stand out more than it should have. I had to ask for water twice, never got a refill, and overall felt largely ignored--minimal eye contact, no real warmth, just an impersonal feel that didn't match the space. It felt like a place that may be a bit of a victim of its own success--popularity has grown, but delivery hasn't fully kept pace. Part of the appeal here is the permanent taco truck outside, which I know from past visits is excellent, and I love the truck's outspoken, unapologetic support for immigrants. That said, the cocktail itself was excellent. I was specifically looking for a coffee-based drink before heading to another event, and the Cambures al Estilo Foster delivered on flavor. It was tiny, though--served in a small stemmed glass, gone in a few sips. It did the job, but some may find the portion underwhelming for the price. No major complaints, but nothing pulling me back either. I'm adding a fourth star on a bit of a hunch--I'd like to think they can dial it back in if I return.

The restaurant itself is hidden inside another called Coabana, but there is a door clearly labeled Cocktails to get to it. Through the door the hustle and bustle of the busy restaurant outside gives way to a cocktail bar that feels much more intimate, with dark lighting and quieter music than is playing outside. It was perfect to converse and enjoy drinks with friends! This time we went with some friends, and each of us could not stop talking about how good everything was! We started with In To The Blue shots for the table, which were so good we wished we had sipped them. Then we ordered our first round of drinks and food. We shared a plate of nachos and they had the perfect balance of toppings and chips, then my partner and I ordered some tacos and a Cubano Sammie. The sandwich was delicious, much better than the average Cubano I've come across in Phoenix. The tacos were also great, and $11 for 3 was a steal! Our friends also got tacos, which they enjoyed. My partner ordered Cupid's Dagger and the Insomniac to drink, and she loved both of them! Cupid's Dagger was also served with a bubble of smoke and it was on a little silver tray, which was cool. I ordered the Son of a Peach and Femme Fatale, and they were both delicious. The Femme Fatale was also served inside of a wooden cake tray filled with smoke, which was a very cool experience and added to the flavor of the drink. All in all this is not just a restaurant, but an experience. And if you have some money to go out in downtown Phoenix, I would say this experience is not one to miss! We stopped by Wren & Wolf to collect our boarding passes and sat down to relax in the lounge until we got closer to boarding time. We then walked around the building to the dimly lit entrance and waited behind the ropes. At exactly the boarding time, the captain opened the doors and greeted us. We walked by the check-in area, and our tickets were checked. The stewardesses then gave us a pair of wings. This flight was to Tokyo and the travel warning mentioned kaiju activities. Glancing into the seating area it was shaped like a luxury plane with windows and ample space to move around. At the back of the plane were seats wrapping around and the cabin was very beautifully decorated. Towards the front of the aircraft, there was a beautiful bar. The photos in the advertisements are not photoshopped the place is amazing. The stewardesses escorted us to our seats and they were very comfortable. Depending on group size you either get a small table for two or for 4. This reminded us of the movie Soul Plane lol. Kiki and Madie were our stewardesses on the flight and started us with a complimentary drink and some peanuts. As we were taking off you could see the plane taking off through the windows and you could feel vibrations on the floor as if the plane was rolling. Then once in the air they played a large selection of music. Keep an eye out the windows because you will see strange things like we spotted King Kong and then while in flight we saw Ghidorah fly by and I think I got a glimpse of Mothra, but was not sure. Kiki and Madie were amazing they kept the drinks flowing and we watched the captain make drinks because he was also the bartender. We then ran into turbulence and into a storm and spotted Godzilla, Mechagodzilla, and Ghidorah amidst the dark clouds and lightning. Then at this time the martini carts came around serving handcrafted martinis at your table side. After we got out of the dark clouds there was a tasty cookie and more drinks. The service was amazing. Kiki and Madie were Rockstars and were very efficient at their jobs. They provided light conversation and were knowledgeable about the menu and gave great recommendations. When we got close to Tokyo and were ready to land there was a last call and we could see Tokyo from the windows as we did our final approach. The whole experience was well worth it and each flight is different. We spoke to some other passengers who have been on other flights and they can't get enough of it. The captain's quarters section in the front of the plane served some The flight time was 90 minutes and there is a bathroom on the plane. There is a parking garage in the same building so you don't have to walk far. Thank you, Captain, and thank you Kiki and Madie, for this amazing evening.
