I was here for a private event so my experience will likely be different from a regular evening. 1. The place is gorgeous. 2. Drinks were good. The bartender who was friendly and attentive was female, black, and had amazing hair. Loved it. 3. Food was just okay. I would eat before coming.

The Rose Garden is most definitely aesthetically pleasing. The decor is so pretty. This is good for both date night and girls night out. Chad was friendly when we stepped foot in the RG. My bartender was nice as well. I forgot her name but she had glasses. She made me a drink that was a cross between an Old Fashioned and Espresso Martini which was good! I also had the Espresso Amore which was delicious. My cousin had the Love Island and she enjoyed it as well. We also had the Garden Tea shots. They were great also. The bartenders didn't skimp on the alcohol at all! My type of vibe. If ever back in Phoenix, I'd return!

Awesome! A group of us girls met for HH! We enjoyed it!! The bartenders were amazing! Street and garage parking available.

We saw that this bar had some really good reviews as we were bar hoping through downtown so decided to give it a try. We didn't realize this place closed at midnight so when we got there at 11:45 we were wondering why it was so empty. The bartender was nice enough to just give us a heads up that it was last call but happily took our order. Being a big fan of tequila and mezcal we went with the Blush and Burn and the Harvest essence. What we received in front of us after ordering was a beautifully crafted cocktail, in very cool glasses that we really liked, and delicious to boot. I was worried the habanero tequila would overpower the Blush and Burn but that was not the case at all. The cocktail had a delicious spicy kick to it while having refreshing cooling effect from the grapefruit soda and sweetness from the strawberry habanero syrup. The Harvest Essence was also such a good mezcal cocktail and enjoyed the sip I got from my wife. Overall the bar has really good decor and cool vibe even with it just being us in there. To top it off the bartender, Marissa, was very friendly and chatted it up with us as we enjoyed our cocktails past the bar closing time. This is definitely a place I want to visit again before we leave.

Take a Stroll and Voyage of Penrose

This downtown Phoenix place has a great ambiance. Our server told us the story about Rose Garden and a peacock competing for the attention of being the most beautiful. That explains all of the roses and peacocks in the decor. There is even a stuffed peacock in the center of the room hanging from the ceiling surrounded by fringed lights. The bar has one side in the building and one side on the patio, and there is a rather large patio outside on 1st avenue. When you enter the bar from the building, as opposed to the patio, you're given a rose - - a very nice touch! We had a great server who took the time to help with the menu and tell us the story of Penrose the peacock. We arrived during happy hour which had great deals on classic cocktails, but we decided to order off the specialty menu. We got: *Take a Stroll--a fruity tequila an aperol cocktail *Voyage of Penrose--a tropical rum drink served in a peacock cup *Golden Harvest Charcuterie *XXXtra Spicy Pala Flatbread Cocktails were top notch. I really loved with a capital L the Take a Stroll! The flatbread was really, really small for $18, and tasted mediocre at best. But no worry because the Golden Harvest Charcuterie made up for it. It was huge and had a great combination of meats and cheeses. I'm not sure if I'll race back, but it's a decent option if you're in the area.

Visited the Rose Garden last night for cocktails and had a great time. I love how they specialize in making different drinks. The place is decorated very nice with floral inspired decor. It gives that moody floral glam vibe. This is a great place to visit if your looking for great cocktails. The staff are friendly as well.

We stumbled across this place while visiting AZ, and it turned out to be the perfect spot to link up before or after dinner. The staff were incredibly warm and friendly, and you could tell they were very knowledgeable about the drinks--how they're crafted and the fact that they only use fresh ingredients. The décor is beautiful and elegant, giving the space an upscale vibe. Definitely a bar to put on your list! The food was just ok but cocktails were superior

The ambiance here is serene and really does feel like a garden party. I enjoy both the indoor and outdoor bar when the weather is nice. The drinks are pleasant, if pricey. The same can be said for the food- pricey and small portions but good quality. The biggest drawback is the high turnover of bartenders. It seems like the staff has been generally disgruntled with management since they opened. I don't think I've ever had the same bartender twice. If they reduce their prices to make them more reasonable and treat their staff well, this could easily be a 5 star cocktail bar. If you do go- I'd recommend the ricotta dip and Voyage of Pemrose cocktail. Be aware- they don't offer food in the summer. Pretty crazy, right? I'd appreciate if they had their full menu year round. No other cocktail bar downtown reduces the menu for the summer.

We really enjoyed this bar. We arrived within an hour of closing and Marissa was super nice to us. She made us some delicious drinks. The place is beautiful perfect for Instagram pictures. We really wanted to come back before leaving town, but we couldn't. It is definitely on our list of places to visit in downtown Phoenix.

If you're looking for the perfect night out, look no further than the Rose Garden Cocktail Lounge--and make sure Haneen is your server! She's not just amazing at what she does; she is the experience. From the moment we arrived, the lounge's romantic, floral atmosphere set the tone--soft lighting, cozy seating, and elegant details everywhere. But the real magic started when Haneen greeted us with the warmest smile. She's effortlessly charming, attentive without hovering, and has an intuitive sense for timing. It felt like she could read the table's vibe perfectly. She guided us through the cocktail menu with genuine excitement and nailed every recommendation. Her passion for the craft and the customer experience shows in every detail. We also ordered the cannoli, and WOW--beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. Haneen hyped them up, and she was so right. Creamy, delicate, and the perfect sweet finish. Haneen is a true gem. She turned a simple night out into something special. If you're lucky enough to have her as your server, you're in for a treat. Rose Garden, you've got a star on your hands!

The ricotta!? Good lord that dish was phenomenal. The drinks i unfortunately don't remember the names but my partner and i absolutely loved our drinks and will be excited to come back to do this all over again. I love a sparkling moment so that pink drink was a nice surprise. The bartenders were amazing and the atmosphere was quiet and nice to engage in conversation. I give this a 10/10

My group and I came here after Harumi and we were seated right away. At the time, there was only a table of two in there. The entrance and interior is really pretty. I've been here once before about 2 years ago and remembered liking the drinks last time. They have some small bites on their menu but if you're super hungry and looking for something more filling, maybe eat somewhere else first. Our orders: Terminus $20 - a creamy, tropical flavored drink. The banana flavor was a bit strong but still good overall! I tend to choose the drink with coconut milk. Harvest Essence $17 - a smoky mezcal drink. My friend said it was good Take a Stroll x2 $15 - light and refreshing. They loved it Tequila Blanco w/ Sprite $14 - one friend switched to her usual for her 2nd round drink Nice vibe and ambiance. Bartender was nice and attentive. Great place for a date night or girls night out!

    paint and sip
    Emily P.

Haven't been to the Rose Garden in years, but I saw an instagram ad for a paint and sip so we decided to go! They have canvases, paints, brushes, and sponges at the front table, and you can grab whatever you'd like to paint. It is not one of those events where someone walks you through what to pain, so you have full creative freedom. There's no additional cost to paint, but in order to participate, you have to order two items which is quite easy to do considering it's a paint and sip. So you and a friend with one drink each easily covers that requirement. There was only one server/bartender/all of the above working that afternoon and I felt for him after learning he had just started and was left alone to run the place with this event going on. An hour~ish later, another employee showed up and then people were then able to order food, but by that point we were wrapping up our painting and had already set sights for another establishment to procure some food.

We got to wren and wolf around 7:10 and they had our "tickets" for us. When we got in front of carry on, we were the first ones in line. We expected to get on sooner because the tickets said 7:30 but I guess the time to actually go inside, not when takeoff is. We sat down and got welcome drinks and peanuts. About 10 minutes after they started to take drink orders. I'm a lightweight so I didn't get anything but my husband got the chilte collab drink. It tasted a lot like tomato and was super unique. The tuna tostada was great alongside the pepper on the side. We then got mole which was the star of the show. The mole was so unique and spicy, I'd never had a mole like that before. The flight was 4d in that it moved like a real airplane. They then come around for martini cart service. They shake it in front of you so we had to try the dirty martini togarashi. It was super unique and perfectly salty. We then got the chilte taco which was good but nothing special. The dessert however was amazing! It tasted like a cheesecake. We then "landed" - it was faster than I thought, as it's 1.5 hours but settling in and getting everyone inside takes a while. The bathroom was a cool airplane looking bathroom, but huge. The downside was that it was quite pricey, and the train bar has a booking cost but it goes to your drinks so I'll likely do that before coming here again.

We stopped by Wren & Wolf to collect our boarding passes and sat down to relax in the lounge until we got closer to boarding time. We then walked around the building to the dimly lit entrance and waited behind the ropes. At exactly the boarding time, the captain opened the doors and greeted us. We walked by the check-in area, and our tickets were checked. The stewardesses then gave us a pair of wings. This flight was to Tokyo and the travel warning mentioned kaiju activities. Glancing into the seating area it was shaped like a luxury plane with windows and ample space to move around. At the back of the plane were seats wrapping around and the cabin was very beautifully decorated. Towards the front of the aircraft, there was a beautiful bar. The photos in the advertisements are not photoshopped the place is amazing. The stewardesses escorted us to our seats and they were very comfortable. Depending on group size you either get a small table for two or for 4. This reminded us of the movie Soul Plane lol. Kiki and Madie were our stewardesses on the flight and started us with a complimentary drink and some peanuts. As we were taking off you could see the plane taking off through the windows and you could feel vibrations on the floor as if the plane was rolling. Then once in the air they played a large selection of music. Keep an eye out the windows because you will see strange things like we spotted King Kong and then while in flight we saw Ghidorah fly by and I think I got a glimpse of Mothra, but was not sure. Kiki and Madie were amazing they kept the drinks flowing and we watched the captain make drinks because he was also the bartender. We then ran into turbulence and into a storm and spotted Godzilla, Mechagodzilla, and Ghidorah amidst the dark clouds and lightning. Then at this time the martini carts came around serving handcrafted martinis at your table side. After we got out of the dark clouds there was a tasty cookie and more drinks. The service was amazing. Kiki and Madie were Rockstars and were very efficient at their jobs. They provided light conversation and were knowledgeable about the menu and gave great recommendations. When we got close to Tokyo and were ready to land there was a last call and we could see Tokyo from the windows as we did our final approach. The whole experience was well worth it and each flight is different. We spoke to some other passengers who have been on other flights and they can't get enough of it. The captain's quarters section in the front of the plane served some The flight time was 90 minutes and there is a bathroom on the plane. There is a parking garage in the same building so you don't have to walk far. Thank you, Captain, and thank you Kiki and Madie, for this amazing evening.

Main level/Upstairs vibe is well-lit with a true cantina bar feel. High-top tables, seats at the bar & happy hour from 4-7 pm make it ideal for some $7 drinks!!. The collection of Tequilas is GREAT. Many of which do not contain additives. I won't lie, I thought I was a big fan until I realized I didn't recognize a lot of the tequilas they had on hand. Downstairs is a whole different vibe. Custom craft cocktails, dim lighting with artwork, and more make it feel like an upscale NYC spot in your basement. I did 2 of my favorites, Paloma De Guayaba with the custom block name etched and the Baya Nueva. While in the Cantina, I had to order my friend the Basura (trash), but that wasn't the case... then again, it is served in a plastic bag, and is definitely a throwback to my early 20's of gettin' lit!!!! Always look forward to sharing this place with friends visiting and connecting with those locally.

It was busy, but not packed, which made the service stand out more than it should have. I had to ask for water twice, never got a refill, and overall felt largely ignored--minimal eye contact, no real warmth, just an impersonal feel that didn't match the space. It felt like a place that may be a bit of a victim of its own success--popularity has grown, but delivery hasn't fully kept pace. Part of the appeal here is the permanent taco truck outside, which I know from past visits is excellent, and I love the truck's outspoken, unapologetic support for immigrants. That said, the cocktail itself was excellent. I was specifically looking for a coffee-based drink before heading to another event, and the Cambures al Estilo Foster delivered on flavor. It was tiny, though--served in a small stemmed glass, gone in a few sips. It did the job, but some may find the portion underwhelming for the price. No major complaints, but nothing pulling me back either. I'm adding a fourth star on a bit of a hunch--I'd like to think they can dial it back in if I return.
