From the moment I walked in, Yanna set the tone for what should have been a great night. She went out of her way to squeeze me into a table so I could grab dinner; that kind of hospitality is exactly what you want from a first impression. I'll be honest, when I first looked at the menu, I nearly walked out. The changes threw me off. But before I could, my server Ness stepped in, flipped to the back of the drink menu, and showed me that the burger and fries were still there. Great save, and the food delivered, the burger and curly fries were genuinely good. Then the wheels came off. Within 10 minutes, Ness walked past my empty glass five times without a word. She stopped to top off every water glass at the table of seven next to me, but nothing for the solo diner. It took over 11 minutes for her to acknowledge the empty glass, and another 5+ minutes after that to actually receive a refill on a soda I was also charged for separately. To top it off, when Ness dropped the check, she cleared my drinks before I was even finished -- no warning, no ask, just gone. Closed out and cut off in one motion. The message was clear: a single guy with a food order matters a lot less than a large group running a drink tab. That's a front-of-house culture problem, not just a bad night. Yanna is a star. The food is solid. But Eden has some work to do to make every guest feel like they belong there, regardless of party size or what they're ordering. read more

Both were amazing, only thing is my friends Garden of Eden drink came with Tajín and mine did not, they offered to remake it for me though but I declined. This place was really nice. We sat next to the fire pit and stayed warm as it was a bit chilly with the wind blowing. Our drinks were delicious. I had the dry martini, and a margarita. Both were perfect. I love how you can actually taste the tequila in the margarita. My daughter had a signature cocktail named Phoenix Rising and it was surprisingly delicious, it wasn't overly sweet which I hate. Our flatbread was so yummy the goat cheese was so creamy and the bee tasted like fresh wood fired pizza crust Our server was the sweetest! I have attempted to dine at Eden three times over the last several years and I have walked out every single time. It's very easy to make a reservation here and the entrance and elevator are well marked. I honestly love the colors, tiles, and decor. I don't love that it's essentially the pool bar at a hotel and the staff consistently have an attitude that they do not care. The "rooftop" is also only on the third floor so it's still pretty hot as you're not high enough in elevation to relieve some of that summer heat. To top it off, their misters leak so they don't use them. It's just a very unenjoyable atmosphere and I do not recommend as there are several better rooftops in the Phoenix metro area. read more

This experience was a huge disappointment. The male bartender looked like he just rolled out of bed he seemed uninterested in being at work. My personal opinion bartenders need to be fun bubbly engaging somewhat talkative etc you get the picture. He was just there. This bar has no blenders for drinks so if you like frozen Piña coladas or frozen margaritas or frozen daiquiris this place isn't for you. We spent a weekend here at the Kimpton and hung out by the pool area, Eden Rooftop Bar, both days and one night. The pool was small but clean with LED lighting that looked really inviting at night. The area was clean with ample towels for unlimited use. Unfortunately, seating is somewhat limited. We had to get there around ten to get a couple of loungers. We noticed, both Saturday and Sunday that it was filled by eleven. They did have cabanas, but they were more costly that we wanted to spend. Cabanas were rental only. The bar and restaurant had plenty of outside seating (only). The bar was pretty with limited seating. They had a DJ both days spinning music. The music level was good and not too loud. All in all, a relaxing place to hang on a weekend. read more

So, hubby and I live one block from here and have always wanted to try this place but its always crowded. We had some friends come into town snd we decided to give this place a try. During the day its very laid back and it is connected with the Kimpton Hotel pool but in Dec not many people are using it. Im surprised i didn't take photos that is not like me. We started off the chorizo queso appetizer with homemade tortilla chips. It was good. I ordered the Green Chile Angus Burger and it was very good, I was never asked how I wanted it cooked it was good medium which was perfect. The fries were good too. Our friend order the tandoori chicken wrap, she said it was good but it was no tandoori chicken. Hubby ordered turkey Panini sandwich which he said was good. Over all it was a pleasant experience the food on the menu wasn't all that exciting which was s let down. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. We're staying at the hotel and thought we would enjoy the roof pool and bar. When I went up to the bar to look at the menu the bartender told me if I was at the pool to go sit down a server would come by, after 15 minute no one came by, the one server just kept going to one group and ignoring everyone else 4 other people leave because they didn't receive service. We moved to the bar area because we wanted a drink and appetizer and have been sitting waiting for service and the bartender who keeps looking at his phone and walking away has decided not to serve us at all. No one has asked us if we wanted to order food or drinks. The 3 people who seem to work here have not given any service at all. 0/10 would not recommend this place. It is pretty but that's where the appeal ends. read more

I hate leaving reviews like this because our server was fantastic--friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service. Unfortunately, the service couldn't make up for the rest of our experience. From the start, our glasses were dirty and sticky, which wasn't a great first impression. Then, as we were finishing our meal, we noticed cockroaches crawling all over the floor around the dining area. I have video evidence of what we experienced if management would like to review it. Needless to say, it completely ruined what had otherwise been a nice evening. I understand this is an outdoor rooftop restaurant, but I've dined at plenty of outdoor patios throughout Arizona and have never experienced anything like this. Being outdoors doesn't make cockroaches crawling around guests while they're eating acceptable. We spent over $100 expecting a great rooftop dining experience, but instead left disappointed and disgusted. Between the dirty, sticky glassware and the cockroaches, this fell well below the standard we'd expect from a restaurant of this caliber. At this point, I'm simply hoping management will make this right. Paying full price for an experience like this is completely unacceptable, and I hope they address both the sanitation concerns and our visit. read more

If you are looking for a Rooftop Bar go to Diablo or Floor 13. This place is not worth the stress. First, if you make a reservation they will charge your card twice for the total bill and if you're lucky enough to get ahold of them on the phone they will tell you 1 charge will be pending for a few days then you should get that money back. We group split our bill in 3 and every card was charged in person but the card on file for the reservation was charged the full amount. So I am stuck with an additional $450 charge as the manager was unwilling to assist even with receipts and bank statements. They won't return your call or answer, you'll have to go in person and the manager will tell you only the card on file will be charged and the pending charge on everyone else's card will return (no proof just have to take managers word) and it's then your job to have your hand out and try to get paid by the rest of the party for their mistake. Not worth the stress. Diablo and Floor 13 are on a higher rooftop, have better atmosphere, better business etiquette, and a better AC/cooling system. Save yourself from going here and thank me later. read more

I was excited to bring my girlfriend here, but our experience was disappointing from the moment we walked in. We stood at the bar for nearly 15 minutes without being acknowledged. The bartender walked right past us to greet and seat the group that came in behind us, yet never said a word to us. What made it even more frustrating was that another customer walked in carrying what appeared to be a bag of marijuana, and the bartender immediately went over to talk to him while we were still being ignored. I eventually had to get up and ask for a menu myself. The bartender seemed caught off guard that we had been waiting and even struggled to find a menu. I understand restaurants get busy, but it only takes a few seconds to acknowledge guests and let them know someone will be with them. Instead, we were made to feel invisible. My husband and I visited this location tonight. The ambiance was Nice, the establishment was clean and cozy. However, our experience was not so pleasant. First upon entry there was a young lady off to the side at a booth that we later figured was the hostess, after searing ourselves. No one approached us, offered a menu, or acknowledged that we were even there. After my husband stood in line at the bar to order us drinks, the bartender approached 2 young women who were seated by the hostess, given menus, and then approached the bar to order, without acknowledging my husband whom was clearly there first. Until the young ladies said he was there before them. My husband asked for a specific beer that the bartender stated they do not carry, so my husband asked what beer do they have, the bartender stated we have all kinds of beer. Without giving any specifics when clearly you do not have all kinds of beer since you didn't have what he asked for initially. Then the mgr approached gave him a menu, and my husband told the bartender to go ahead and tend to the ladies, when he replied with a rude "yeah ok thanks" as if he was annoyed by my husband. We politely exited the establishment. ​​​It seems as if our business was not wanted. As a person who has done over 15 years the retail industry. We found Eden on a rooftop in downtown phoenix Eden rooftop bar is on a 3rd floor roof of the Kimpton Palomar hotel in the heart of Downtown Phoenix. The Footprint Center looks to almost be peeking over the pool wall. What a great spot for pre-game drinks or a sunset. The pool is for hotel guests only, but the rooftop bar and lounge are open to the public. With pastel pinks and blues and creams, the aesthetic is a relaxed beachy vibe. The specialty cocktail list is fun without being sickly sweet drinks, and they have a full bar. We were too full for food, but the lite bites menu has a nice selection.
