Came here with friends last night. Customer service was okay, but our server was nowhere to be found most of the time. Unfortunately, the food was not worth the price. I've definitely had much better. The flavoring on the entrées was either too bland or way too overpowering, and overall, nothing really stood out. The only nice thing I can say about this place is the ambiance. The music was good, the atmosphere was nice, and the restaurant was clean. Other than that, I don't think the food justified the price.

Food was good. Nothing spectacular. Ambiance is nice. Definitely pricey. They upcharge for EVERYTHING. I took my team there for dinner. There was 6 of us and the bill came to $1000. $12 for a half a tablespoon of butter over your steak is ridiculous. For the price you're paying it should be included. Thats just one example. They have specials after 9pm M-Th. Id recommended that or there $10 burger and chips. Nothing else.

Complimentary bread and butter.

First time at this STK in downtown Phoenix. Made a reservation and was greeted quickly by the hostess. Nice clean dining area, trendy decor with great music playing after 5:30pm on a Friday evening. Server was attentive and provided some good food suggestions. I'm a fan of oysters and beef Tartare, if it's on the menu, I'd try it. A bit disappointed with the mignonette for the oysters and the beef Tartare were so little. The crab cake was way too salty, I couldn't eat more than two bites. But, I would definitely come back to try other items. Good service!

This location is fairly new. I came in for an event, but before that I met a friend for happy hour. I will definitely be back for HH. The food menu had great deals at $3, 6, and 9 dollar price points. I ordered the short rib quesadillas for $6, tasty and a deal! The HH cocktails are $9 and they are any drink on the regular menu, just made with well spirits instead of the liquor of the regular priced drink, but it's like half off in some instances so again, great deal. We sat at the front bar near the entrance, the bartender was attentive and quick as she hustled around a fairly full bar around 5:30pm. The ambiance of this location is swanky and new. Dark toned LED lighting, dark walls, bright STK signs illuminating the place. It works well. They will validate for 2 hours in the collier center underground parking garage. I'll definitely be back for happy hour to try other cocktails and food items.

So excited STK opened in downtown Phx. There's also a location in Scottsdale but this is perfect for downtown because we host so many sports events, concerts and business conferences. This is a great new spot for hosting events and happy hours. They have some of the best espresso martinis in the valley. I'm also a fan of their chicken bites and tuna tartare tacos. Honestly stk is a well known chain and i usually support local businesses but the staff were so kind. I seriously will be back because thank you Margaret, Anya and Kris for the hospitality from checking in with the hostess, to ordering cocktails. You all made this a special day!

Happy hour menu - August 2026

We were able to catch happy hour at STK and I think that's probably the best time to go the bar area was packed with people doing the same. Happy hour is only available for those sitting at the bar but fortunately they expand it to the area near the bar too or we wouldn't have been able to get a seat. We started with the oysters, which were really good and only $3 each. I got a $9 old fashioned and upgraded the $9 STK burger to the works. It was a lot of stuff on the burger, but I really liked it.

Cheers!

This location is hot and new. The interior design is lovely. Upscale and modern vibe is impressive. Then there's the staff that left a lasting impression. GM Gordon, bartenders Dshayn and Emily along with the rest of the staff were amazing. A large crowd for the elite nite and they kept up with good food and drinks. The food bites hit the spot and the drinks were satisfying for a happy hour good time. Looking forward to great times here in the future.

I recently visited with a group and tested a handful of bites from the happy hour menu. The hash browns are perfectly crispy on the exterior with a warm interior with a flavor bomb of truffle oil. The sliders pair very well with their sauce options and are the perfect size to get you started. Their crab bites fall in line with the hash browns where they are perfectly bite sized and full of flavor. When you make your way to the cocktails - their take on the espresso martini is perfection! It's smooth, not too creamy and truly gets you going. The staff was a pleasure and was on their A-game to support our group.

Tartare was delicious.

Sat at the bar with husband on a nice day. Excited to try happy hour. Bartenders there were three. Bar is indoor outdoor. I ordered my cocktail vodka soda which was FLAT please fix your co2. hubs got his too. They arrived. About 6 other patrons at the bar. I put some food in. It arrived without silverware. Food runner was a delight cool looking guy. We sat for a couple minutes without silverware. Then started timing it because it just became comical. Seriously you expect me to eat a saucy meatball with my hands? This is not the Stone Age. Bring me a fork. And overall it was 17 minutes before another staff member not bartender walking by dropped some off. Would've just asked for it but the bartenders all three just ignore us. Could've been understandable if you were busy. With only six other patrons at the bar.... Finally got our fork and the meatballs were cold. Luckily the other items were shrimp and oysters, tartare, etc so it was best enjoyed cold. Food overall was delicious and flavorful. The tartare is a must try the flavor was delicate but tasty. Bartender finally brought over silverware five minutes after other staff member did LMBO!!! Then we were ready to close out. I did ask for the bill ten minutes prior but never received it. I tried waving. Hubs did too. I shouted please can we have the bill and the bartender who looked like a blonde pebbles flintstone just kept ignoring me. Maybe she didn't hear me SHOUTING but also maybe she was being intentionally rude. Asked three more times through vocal and gestures. Nothing!! Next time will walk out on the tab. Finally the manager came to touch our table and we asked him for the bill. We were headed to an event so couldn't wait around all day. If you come here bring your patience and don't recommend sitting at the bar I recommend getting a table because they seemed better cared for than us bar patrons. Looking around at the other patrons there were empty glasses. Even when I ordered my second drink the bartender left it on the other side of me and then went to the service well to start making other drinks THEN BROUGHT IT TO ME. AWFUL SERVICE AND I HATE COMPLAINING ABOUT BAD SERVICE BUT IF YOU EXPECT ME TO COME BACK AND PAY FOR DINNER YOU NEED TO TRAIN THESE BEGINNERS. Better service at CHILIS. Overall I will be back because I liked the atmosphere. Hopefully by then you fix your issues.

My 4th or 5th STK and I'm a fan especially since I can walk here. John, was our server and was awesome. I love their happy hour, such a huge selection from $3, $6, and $9 options for food and drink. I love the decor, so modern!

STK has a great happy hour. Reasonable prices for food as well as their cocktails. Modern interior. Great service. The steak frites and oysters are a must.

As a downtown Phoenix local, I was so excited to finally try STK, but unfortunately it was a complete disappointment. We came in for a Father's Day lunch with a 3:00 PM reservation, and every meal at the table missed the mark. My daughter's burger was cooked well done despite not being ordered that way, and it was so overcooked she practically had to saw through it with a knife. She also asked for ketchup with her fries which never arrived. I ordered the scallop aguachile, and the scallops tasted fishy while the accompanying chips were stale. My father ordered the short rib and said the experience was so bad it made him want to stop ordering short ribs at restaurants altogether. For a restaurant with STK's reputation and pricing, we expected much better food quality and execution. The crowd was also dressed in basketball shorts and hats which turned the vibe into a very casual one. There are too many excellent steakhouses in the area to justify giving this another chance. We will be sticking with the other great options downtown going forward.

Took the wifey on a dinner date, haven't been out in a while since we have a little one. Great dinner! Our waiter was outstanding (forgot his name) with great service! Thank you very much! Well worth it! Thank you!

This is very cool joint with a dark feel too it. They have a basement bar which we ventured into and they also have an upstairs bar as well, so you can fit a lot of drunk People in there. It also features a lot of great art that fits really highlights the Mexican bar vibe. The waitress/bar tender/ agave expert was very welcoming and know a lot about their tequilas and mescal option. I love me some smokey mescal, I dont remember thet name of the drink but it had some kind of elote triple sec or something like that along with Mescal and it was quite tasty. Trust me I was in no state to remember ingredients but this is from my foggy memory. I also got a pick of the cool ice blocks that has an Agave inlay that they put in the tumbler with your drink. I will definitely be going back for their wide Mescal and tequila options. I didn't see food in the bar, but they have a food truck out front that smelled amazing, but sometimes I simply dont want to eat when there are plenty of drinks to be had. They do have Esquites, Tacos, Quesadillas, Mini Chimis, and loaded fries. I will have to do another review on the food when I am not out being a borracho. They do take reservations and host private parties which would make for one raucous Christmas party if you don't work at a Christ loving conservative company like me. You can also order bottles of mescal and pick it up on location which is pretty awesome as especially after trying out the selection. Happy hour is every weekday that they are open to try out some of their cocktails. This is a great option to impress your tinder date if you are a lush like me pr want to show of your sophisticated drinker side.

I was immediately drawn to their craft cocktails and the focaccia with whipped ricotta captured my heart. I'm a huge savory cocktail girl and they had multiple options. The vibe is great too, dimly lit with vibey house music and the bartenders and servers are all super chill and friendly. Effortlessly cool without being too snooty. I'm a big fan of their food too, my top faves were the Caesar salad, watermelon salad, vodka pasta & cookie skillet, besides my beloved bread of course. The girl dinner is truly such a steal so if you go on a Tues night, don't skip it! It comes with a martini, caviar chip, Caesar salad & vodka pasta. My party and I had a reservation on a Saturday night at 9pm (when it's 13 people, what can you do). What kind of sucked though (and mainly why I'm deducting a star) is that we did wait an additional half hour to be seated after our reservation time. Our theory is that they didn't think the entire party would actually arrive, and they were not ready to accommodate us. To be fair, the restaurant IS on the smaller side, but there was 0 communication during that half hour on what was going on... which isn't really good for us either. We got the original set, and this somewhat confused me as well. The food was really good, and was definitely a restaurant that I'd go to for the experience, but for some reason some of the meats were doubled while others weren't. The double portions were really nice since our party was so large, we needed to split the food between 4 different grills (so each table got 2 grills each, feeding 6-7 people in total or 3-4 people per grill), but then we had to share the portions where we only got one serving. It wasn't bad, but to me, didn't make sense. The food was really good though; I didn't care too much about the soup, but the green sauce was SO good. Mixing a little with the soup was incredible. I thought the beef and pork were really good. I personally left the restaurant full, but many others in my party did not. I think it's a really good amount of food for 2 people, but when you push to 3+, you probably do not want to come hungry. Also--the live music at Pemberton next door is SO LOUD, you're going to be shouting at your table the entire night when you sit outside. I think I would come back if I wanted to show this place to someone who didn't live here, but it isn't on the top of my list for when I'm trying to eat out, but I will definitely consider this for special date night occasions. It is extremely expensive for what it is though. For $70+ you risk the chance of leaving not full which SUCKS.
