What's not to like about this spot? Seriously, I don't even love martinis and I found it very enjoyable here for happy hour. I can't speak to the Cleaverman steakhouse that this bar is attached to, haven't beer there yet. But this beautifully lit, classically decorated piano speakeasy bar was great. It wasn't even on my radar, a friend suggested it after our unofficial Yelp event nearby. We had some drinks and food items from the happy hour menu. Oysters were great quality and delicious. My drink had a gentle sweetness and was not a traditional martini. And the service was spot on. I will definitely come back again for happy hour, maybe before dinner at the restaurant.

Really awesome bar - the decor at Filthy Martini Bar is such a vibe! They had live music which was cool. Service was great but the "Pretty Decent Martini" was a little too different (house brine was an acquired taste) for me. I can't wait to try their other cocktails!

Swanky and fun! Me and my friend had finished dinner at another restaurant early so we walked down to Filthy Martini Bar to see what it was like, anf we were very pleased with the ambiance, drinks and live music happening ok a Thursday night. Tini time is the first two hours for sure and the last hour if I remember correctly.

Ruben is the best bartender ever and we continue to go back just for him. He has great recommendations and he made me a really good drink off menu. Ambiance is fun. The live music is a plus. Loved the dessert we got. It was light and refreshing with so many different textures/flavors.

I heard so much about this place and for the price of the drinks, I had high hopes. The good: the fun speakeasy entrance on the side, the moody lighting, and a cocktail singer/ band. The servers were very sweet and attentive throughout, shout out to them! The not so good: also the cocktail singer / band as the volume was extremely loud so you could barely hear the person sitting next to you. I felt like I was 21 again trying to scream at my friend in the club. My friends got the midnight special thinking that it was going to be similar to an espresso martini. . . think again. If you want an espresso martini, just ask for one or get the carajillo, that was a better version of an espresso martini. The bathroom is shared w the restaurant (Cleaverman), but the locks on the door seemed to not be working? I had the unfortunate experience on walking in on another guest (I mean worse for the other person), and saw it happen to a few other guests as well. We also made sure that we were there promptly on time as they have a very small 5 minute grace period (I totally understand w how small the venue is), but when we arrived it still took an addition ~8 minutes for our party to be seated. When we were seated, we were almost sitting on each other's laps as we were only given one section of a couch and 3 chairs. Granted, we were a large party, but that's why there was a reservation which should have let the team know how much room would be needed. Once another party cleared out, we were able to move half of our party into the next enclave over, but if we as guests are expected to be on time for our reservation with only a 5 minute grace period, I would expect such an exclusive venue to be ready to receive the party at that time. The drinks were a middle ground between good and bad, they were tasty if you knew what you wanted, but the price point definitely reflects what should have been the experience of this estabilishment.

A time was had at Filthy martini. We went to this location on a Friday evening since we were downtown and wanted to have a few cocktails. They do participate in happy hour at this location, including on a Friday evening. We did not have a reservation, but there was room for us available at the bar. It was also first Friday so the area was kinda of busy. If you want to ensure that you have a table. I would recommend getting a reservation. On this occasion, we tried a few of their signature cocktails. Some delicious french fries, and some oysters. All in all, we were really satisfied with the food options on the happy hour menu. There were a few other selections that you could purchase that were not on the happy hour menu, but also look good. I would love to come back and try the charcuterie board. This place is super cute. We left before the live music started, but it seems like that is an option. We really liked our bartender. He was really fantastic. His technique when it came to mixing up the drinks was 10 out of 10. This place is connected to the steakhouse. It is a prime location right in Arizona Center. They do offer two hours of validated parking. So if you do choose to park in the attached garage, make sure to bring your ticket cause they will give you a sticker that gives you two hours a complimentary parking.

Filthy Martini Bar is the tucked-away counterpart to the big, five-star (and $$$$$) Cleaverman steakhouse up front -- a little speakeasy-style room in the back with a separate entrance that is not immediately obvious, but absolutely worth finding. Like the stakehouse, the martini bar space is meticulously designed, down to custom staff uniforms that match the upholstery, and the whole place has a classy, better-dress-up-for-it feel. Service was impeccable on both visits, the mood was light and relaxing, and the live music added a lot to the ambiance. On quieter nights, a soloist is just the right touch. The martini list is strong right out of the gate and they'll customize to your liking. Presentation is excellent, and the whole experience feels thoughtful and elevated. Great for a date, a business drink/dinner, or even a solo stop when you want something polished but comfortable. The happy hour is essential and happens twice every night, right at opening and just before the closing.

Super cute and vibey - be sure to make a reservation! My boyfriend and I ate at Cleaverman for dinner and asked our server about checking out filthy martini. Just by our luck she was able to squeeze us in for an hour to check out the spot. Even though we only had an hour, we were still able to try a couple of drinks each and check out a little bit of the live music. We will definitely have to come back here. Even though we are not martini people they had probably the best version of a espresso martini that I've ever had and I wanna say it had some sort of cheese sprinkled on the top.

Absolutely phenomenal cocktail spot, easily in my top 3 favorites of Phoenix. First and foremost, the environment and ambiance of this place is unmatched. I feel like I walked into the 1900s and experienced a real underground martini bar. They have jazz bands playing on weekends and live performances throughout the week, which really brings the whole experience together. Secondly, the food is a must. I don't usually order food at bars, especially cocktail or upscale bars, because you don't typically get a whole lot of bang for your buck. But this place has an incredible kitchen, with the beef tartare and truffle fries being the single best bar food items I've ever had. Ordering a small bite is an absolute must if you go. Finally: the cocktails. I mean, I don't know where they find these bartenders but Pretty Decent Concepts always always always hires the greatest staff around. Their menu is expansive already but I was putting the bar staff to the test, requesting some pretty niche cocktails. He didn't hesitate to make something custom and perfect to my liking, which has been the case every time I come to this place. The wait and hosting staff are incredible too, as always. Filthy, you're added to my list of Phoenix Restaurant Greats. I'll be back very soon.

Made a reservation here for a mini birthday celebration with just another friend of mine. Entrance is the same as the Cleaverman. We were greeted by the sweet hostesses who walked us back to the filthy martini bar, where we had a booth for the night (my favorite!). Very pretty decor, lighting, and ambience. Felt very fancy! We got lucky as we got there at 7, which is when they have live music, a talented gentleman played piano throughout the night! Quick peruse of the menu and the sweet servers got our drink and food order. We started with the 'swingers' martini which tasted quite sweet but not too overpowering. Will definitely order that again! The oysters were incredible and I appreciated that they were smaller, it also came with lots of options for toppings. The truffle fries were so delicious!! Definitely order those truffle fries no matter what!! The lobster roll was good but wouldn't order again, the old bay fries tasted good as well. For dessert, we opted for their pineapple rum cake I believe, which tasted amazing! Very fresh and light. Such an incredible experience, can't wait to come back! Great service, drinks, ambience, and food!

Swanky What a fun new cocktail lounge. Love the vibe and the atmosphere. I went after work with coworkers, and the experience feels elevated with classy drinks and live music. We didn't get a chance to try any food but excited to go back to try more drinks in the menu!

Lobster roll and frieds

Nice addition to downtown Phx. Live music (piano/vocalist the night we were there), warm lighting, small menu of bites and drinks (including a few n/a options). We lucked out getting seats at the bar late night, mid-week before the kitchen closed. The space is cozy, tho, so safer to make a reservation. Drinks are a bit pricey, but they come with live entertainment. Caesar salad was fine- fresh greens and heavy dressing that just tasted meh. The lobster roll, however, was fab. Tender chunks of buttery lobster meat tucked into brioche roll with a side of crispy fries- yes, please!

Loved the vibes of this place! I will say Apple Maps doesn't take you to the right place so it was tricky to find but I found it tucked next to valet. I knew with it being new the service would be slow which it was but our waitress did a great job considering how hectic it was! The cordon blew croquettes ARE AN ABSOLUTE MUST ORDER!!! So delicious I had to order 2 servings!!! My matcha mocktail was yummy although I did feel the mocktails should be $10-$11 not $14 since there's no alcohol in it. The music was great too! It was a fun place to try and glad I got To experience it! The fries were yummy too they just took a long time to receive for my friend but I'm sure service will get faster through time

Love the vibe and ambiance here

Friend was in town, so our group of 4 bar hopped the night away. Sazerac happened to be one if our stops that night and I loved it! I k ow I didn't order anything on the menu, but I did ask Anthony to make me something peachy/mango-y and he came through!! Idk what he put in it but he called it the "Ta Daaaa!" It was absolutely delicious and right up my alley! Later in the evening, my friend and I shared a shot while our guy friends were chopping it up on the patio. That damn shot was sooo freakin' good and didn't break the bank, either! If you're looking for a chill spot to have a drink or two, this is it. The patio is nicely decorated and there's a taco truck serving up yummies to go with your tasty cocktails. Gather up your crew and head to Sazerac for a night you won't soon forget. And don't forget to grab some freebies to the left of the door when you exit! **IYKYK** lol

The hostess/guard at the door wasn't in a very good mood but maybe she was tired or had put up with too many rude customers I didn't have any food but my friends had loaded fries and tacos and they looked really good. Liked the vibe! The music was good and the mood was chill. Definitely would go back. Just don't visit the bathroom unless you're prepared for nudity

The blueberry lime cider was also solid with a tangy blueberry profile. The horchata stout features the spices and a hint of milkiness that complemented the bitterness. Love the little card that reminds you of the drinks you ordered. For snacks the duck fat fries was well seasoned and of course went well with the alcohol. As much as I love corn, the elote corn dip wasn't as exciting as I had hoped. It was more of a salsa than a dip. It had cojita cheese but it wasn't gooey cheesy enough for a true dip. It had some spices but was kinda in between spinach artichoke and elote spices so it felt like it was an in-between in many ways. Staff were nice and helpful in explaining the menu. Alcohol and non alcoholic options available. Lots of seating indoor and outdoor with fire pits.

This was a really fun airplane themed experience. When it first opened it was impossible to get the…read morereservation, but now we actually made a reservation just two days ahead. The reservation fee is $25 per person. Keep in mind that this is not simply a reservation deposit like most places. You are actually paying $25 and in exchange you get a boarding pass, a welcome cocktail, a set of wings (this is a really nice quality pin, not the cheesy plastic wings they give the kids on Southwest), spicy nuts, and a sweet treat. When you arrive, you pick up your "boarding pass" at Wren and Wolf around the corner. This flight was going to Tokyo. There is a red-rope line that you wait in until your "flight" boards. At your reservation time, the "Captain" opens the door and a "flight attendant" takes you to your seat. Actually, they call them stewardesses because it's supposed to be 70's themed. The inside is kind of amazing. It's airline themed without being too literal. We have visited another airline themed cocktail lounge in Palm springs which literally had real airline seats. This is not that. It has a lot of beautiful shiny wood and great lighting and it's just generally a gorgeous space. There is a bar at the back. Throughout your 90-minute experience, there is a captain on the overhead letting you know what will happen next. They start by bringing you a welcome cocktail and a bowl of spicy nuts. Love the nuts, did not like the cocktail at all. I just poured mine into my husband's glass and he finished it. They come around next to take your cocktail order. My husband ordered a melon sour, and I ordered a chocolate martini. I'm sad to say I did not like this cocktail either, although I did finish this one. Hubby thought his was fine. After that round of cocktails the flight attendant and Captain come around with the cart to take Martini orders. It looked like less than half of the people ordered a martini. We were there on a Sunday afternoon, and so the two cocktails we already had were plenty and we did not order martinis. Then the flight attendant comes around with a plate of black and white cookies. They were so good - - they tasted homemade. This was really just fun. While I didn't love the cocktails, I did love the cookies and the spicy nuts and the whole experience and I really recommend it.

The Margarita and New York Lemon Drop were really good. They also came around with beverage service - a martini cart. Lol There were complimentary snacks: bowl of peanuts and cookies and small bites that are an extra charge. We ordered the Miso Hummus and Wonton Chips. It was a good, light snack. What an unexpectedly fun night!…read more I honestly had no idea what I was walking into when a friend told me I had to check out Bikini Lounge because they know I'm drawn to all things eclectic. They were absolutely right. From the moment the friendly bouncer smiled and said, "Step right on in," I was hooked. Yoooow!! The first DJ was incredible. He was spinning all kinds of trip-hop, indie, electronic, and remix-style tracks that had everybody partyin'. It wasn't your typical dance music, but every song seemed to connect with somebody in the room. The crowd was incredibly diverse, and it was so much fun watching people of every age and style dancing and nobody cared. The second DJ, a younger woman, shifted the vibe a bit and leaned more toward a younger crowd. It wasn't quite my style, so I took that opportunity to grab a seat at the bar and do what I apparently do best... chat with complete strangers. I'm a talker, and thankfully they seemed just as happy to strike up a conversation. This isn't some fancy cocktail lounge, and that's exactly the point. It's authentic. There were people dancing at the bar, grooving in their booths, bouncing in their seats, and filling the dance floor with great energy. I came by myself, and within minutes a cool group of strangers invited me to squeeze into their booth like we'd all come together. That's the kind of place this is. At one point they even offered me a glass of beer from their pitcher. I politely declined (look at me making responsible life choices... sometimes), but then I realized almost everyone had pitchers! So I sauntered over to the bar. I did have to wait a bit; apparently chivalry doesn't extend to letting a woman cut the line, but once I reached the bartender, the service was fast and friendly. Every trip back to the bar was the same. No complaints there. As the night went on, the energy just kept building. Before I knew it, I was on the dance floor sweating, smiling, and dancing with complete strangers. After a while, I had to retreat to the patio just to catch my breath before heading back in for more. My ankles are still sore... and the glutes? Fuhgetabouttit! The best part of the night wasn't the music or even the drinks. It was the people. Every generation was represented. Every fashion style imaginable. Every personality. And somehow it all worked. There was this genuine sense of joy and community that you just don't find everywhere. If you're looking for polished and upscale, this probably isn't your spot. But if you want great music, a welcoming crowd, zero pretension, and one of those nights where you leave happier than you arrived... give Bikini Lounge a shot. I went in not knowing what to expect. I left wondering why I'd waited so long to go.
