A cute open air and some indoor vibes place to hang out on the weekends or anytime!! Verys artisty and creative decor all round and you can dance or just chill and chat or even take a dip in the pool. They have so many activities and events here. I just love this spot. Great carna asada tacos and specialty cocktail drink selections!!! Its a vibe

This place is so unique and visually stimulating! Bartender Connor is great! He had the best personality and was so accommodating! He went above and being to make sure I felt at home even as a patron who didn't drink alcohol. The virgin black Michelangelo drink with the sweet stick was fantastic! Just a tad on the spicy side! The $2.50 until 7pm steak taco was fabulous! The pizzas looked great. Staff were all friendly and fun. Karaoke after our event was a hoot and the karaoke host was fabulous. Loved her emphasis on protecting a safe and supportive environment. Parking was rough. I found free spots on the side streets which was great though worried a bit about whether my car would be ok. All was well. They didn't open till 6 and no one showed til almost 7 with event start and I had gone early hoping to mingle so wouldn't go early again. Would have loved a couple vegetable pie salad menu options but otherwise great !

The pemberton concept is really cool with all of the renovations and art. However, overcrowding is a major issue. What I'd like to see is more of an effort to think of people's experiences while visiting. It tends to be overcrowded and over booked. If an event is going on there is a long line that usually the wait is over an hour in the hot sun. I have been there now 3 times for events and each time it has been miserable due to long lines (food, entry, restrooms, and drinks). RSVP and reservations in my opinion should be first of the line or at least a separate line.. I would say they aren't accessible here. There are stairs everywhere and not enough ramps. Bathrooms especially aren't accessible to get to but they do offer accessible bathroom stalls. What I love about the pemberton when you go and there is not an event going on it's really nice. You have a lot of space and a variety of food to choose from. They have amazing themes that go along with their food and art. They have a restaurant with 2 stories two bars. Another thing I love is their pool! Such a fun time and a great way to have a cocktail!

First time at the Pemberton went for a Love Island watch party and what a beautiful hidden gem. The display of art, great food and drinks as well as customer service. The tacos were some of the best street tacos I've had in a while. The drinks were strong and overall it was a really cute event. Highly recommend. Will definitely return.

I got to visit The Pemberton recently for their KPOP pool party and it was so much fun! The Ibiza pool area was so spacious and very aesthetic. We ventured out to the rest of the property and were surprised how big it was! There is art, music, and friendly people everywhere you turned. Such a cool Phoenix spot!

If you want a quirky, fun bar experience, the Pemberton is for you. Go early if you want to enjoy a drink on the patio while the DJ plays or go for a dunk in the pool. Towels are provided! The drinks are delicious and they have a great tropical drink menu. Try the blade runner! Keep in mind that they are open early, but the inside areas do not open until 4pm and it gets pretty hot by the pool. There's a lot of shade and misters though! There's quirky art to look at, they do have food, and they also have different themed events at night that rotate depending on the night. They even have a claw machine to win your date a stuffed animal. You'll never be bored at this bar!

11.29.25 - next stop for the night! I've been here a few times in the past before they remodeled the place. I love how the new place looks. The place is like a maze though and was like a maze even before too. For some reason, it seemed more confusing this time around. It's ok though because you get to explore and find cool new stuff to see at every turn. We walked through the place rather quickly though so didn't really get to enjoy the it. There are lights, cool art work, music and multiple bars in here. A little something for everyone! Plenty of areas to get photos at too. Next time, we'll spend a bit more time there.

The Pemberton is a large outdoor entertainment venue in downtown Phoenix. Park along the street or do as we did and pull up in electric scooters. Entry is free, but you do enter through security guards and pat downs. As soon as we were through security, we were immersed in art through color and sound. It felt like an unending psychedelic labyrinth! Through bushes, we spotted meat cooking on a grill. To our left was a lit up bar, the first of many. Keep walking, and soon we were surrounded by paintings. It was like a choose-your-own adventure! Go left towards art or step to the right to find a covered turf lawn with a live band. We grabbed cocktails at a variety of bars, including a Japanese inspired garden. It was like a lucid dream. We walked through an L.E.D. tunnel, passed couples sitting at elevated hexagon shaped booths, and at one point ended up in a house with a dance party. It's a unique concept. Fun for an intimate date night or an outing with friends.

This place is SO COOL! First time going here and it was for the Forbes 30u30 event. I had no idea what this place was, but it's huge! There are several bars and food stands inside, each with different drinks and food. The place is like a maze in that you can walk through it within 10 minutes. There is a pool, bathrooms, and a karaoke room. Lots of seating. When it gets really busy it can feel a bit clustered in the walkways, but that's with any bar. There is a dance floor with a DJ The decorations were really cool too. Good vibes!

I had heard The Pemberton was a really cool bar in downtown Phoenix and I have been wanting to check it out for a while, last night I went out with a friend, fellow Yelper Scarlett M, and new elite Kelsey to celebrate Scarlett's birthday-- she had already been to Pemberton and said she loved it, she and I tend to like the same things. And I did more than like it, I loved it as well. The Pemberton has all the things I like in social settings and in general, it had delicious cocktails, great music for dancing, art, and an overall great time for exploring, plus chill vibes. I loved how there were different bar areas with their own unique names, different drinks and food items and they also had a different feeling in each area, which was really fun. The place is huge and walking around exploring it while carrying a cocktail and enjoying some dancing music was the best time . This place also is an Instagram dream, or if you enjoy taking cool photos for Yelp. I loved all the various art murals/ installations and seating areas where you could hang out and chill. I'll definitely be going back, Next time I plan to try out some of the food options, we had already been to dinner so I wasn't hungry, however I saw them grilling up some tasty looking steak for tacos and it looked amazing. Until next time, cheers!

the new and improved Pemberton! For those who went here before the renovations, I can say the new one is definitely worth checking out. The space feels so much bigger than it really is with a different vibe around every corner. There's something for everyone here. The art installations keep you super entertained with a variety of drink and food options throughout. A lot of fun seating options and perfect place to walk around and explore. If you only want to make one stop on your night out, this is the place to be.

    Ashley C.

Great spot for a small group or dates to explore different themed bars and sections full of instagramable moments. With a large group it would be tough to explore while not losing each other. The ability to go to a bar and dip your feet into the pool, with moderately priced bevs... (or just get the whole way in) - fabulous! It was busy enough to be happening but you could still find places to hang and get a drink in a reasonable amount of time. Wish it was open past midnight but that's no fault of them.

    Lilia Z.

I absolutely love the vibes at Pemberton. It's such a fun place to walk through, with cool art and pop-up bars, each with its own unique theme. It really feels like you could spend your whole night here since there's so much to explore and do. It's almost maze-like, but still easy to navigate. As a visitor, this is definitely one of my top spots!

From the great wood grain basement dark ambience to to the raw, regular bar, and multiple sit-down options, we have tried it all. The allure of trying to find a place down in a basement where you have to find the right elevator was pretty bad ass. The hosts along with the waitresses and bar tenders are always welcoming and knowledgeable about their food and drink. I also think it is cool that you can get lockers to store your expensive liquor for return trips. We often come here for drinks and oysters, because my wife loves oysters and they have a wide range of options that aren't exactly cheap, but don't break the bank for freshness and taste. I only really mark down the rating because the menu has been stale over the years and they used to offer elk that is no longer available. Now call that pretentions or snooty, but I think they could use some unique options to keep the experience moving each time you come in. Also, I feel a restaurant of this caliber should be evolving to match their cool vibe and unique experience. I usually get the Wren house beer but feel the beer optiosn are limiting I also feel like some of their cocktails are overpriced, but they are unique compared to other places, so maybe I am just cheap. So really this rating should be more a 4.5. What really brings you back is the cool art on the wall with a Theodore Roosevelt slant and cool sitting areas like a sofa setting in what looks like it would be his old school library. Don't get me wrong everything I have eaten here has been good, but nothing hearkens back like that elk. This place makes for an amazing tinder date if you are willing to drop that cash and make that impression, come here then hop on over to Valley bar and she will think you are magician of illusive locations if she hasn't already been there.

This is very cool joint with a dark feel too it. They have a basement bar which we ventured into and they also have an upstairs bar as well, so you can fit a lot of drunk People in there. It also features a lot of great art that fits really highlights the Mexican bar vibe. The waitress/bar tender/ agave expert was very welcoming and know a lot about their tequilas and mescal option. I love me some smokey mescal, I dont remember thet name of the drink but it had some kind of elote triple sec or something like that along with Mescal and it was quite tasty. Trust me I was in no state to remember ingredients but this is from my foggy memory. I also got a pick of the cool ice blocks that has an Agave inlay that they put in the tumbler with your drink. I will definitely be going back for their wide Mescal and tequila options. I didn't see food in the bar, but they have a food truck out front that smelled amazing, but sometimes I simply dont want to eat when there are plenty of drinks to be had. They do have Esquites, Tacos, Quesadillas, Mini Chimis, and loaded fries. I will have to do another review on the food when I am not out being a borracho. They do take reservations and host private parties which would make for one raucous Christmas party if you don't work at a Christ loving conservative company like me. You can also order bottles of mescal and pick it up on location which is pretty awesome as especially after trying out the selection. Happy hour is every weekday that they are open to try out some of their cocktails. Located in Downtown Phoenix, the parking situation is a little hairy. There is paid parking nearby,…read morebut it definitely is better to come a little earlier to scope out the parking situation and get that sorted before your reservation. My party and I had a reservation on a Saturday night at 9pm (when it's 13 people, what can you do). What kind of sucked though (and mainly why I'm deducting a star) is that we did wait an additional half hour to be seated after our reservation time. Our theory is that they didn't think the entire party would actually arrive, and they were not ready to accommodate us. To be fair, the restaurant IS on the smaller side, but there was 0 communication during that half hour on what was going on... which isn't really good for us either. We got the original set, and this somewhat confused me as well. The food was really good, and was definitely a restaurant that I'd go to for the experience, but for some reason some of the meats were doubled while others weren't. The double portions were really nice since our party was so large, we needed to split the food between 4 different grills (so each table got 2 grills each, feeding 6-7 people in total or 3-4 people per grill), but then we had to share the portions where we only got one serving. It wasn't bad, but to me, didn't make sense. The food was really good though; I didn't care too much about the soup, but the green sauce was SO good. Mixing a little with the soup was incredible. I thought the beef and pork were really good. I personally left the restaurant full, but many others in my party did not. I think it's a really good amount of food for 2 people, but when you push to 3+, you probably do not want to come hungry. Also--the live music at Pemberton next door is SO LOUD, you're going to be shouting at your table the entire night when you sit outside. I think I would come back if I wanted to show this place to someone who didn't live here, but it isn't on the top of my list for when I'm trying to eat out, but I will definitely consider this for special date night occasions. It is extremely expensive for what it is though. For $70+ you risk the chance of leaving not full which SUCKS.
