This is such a beautiful, relaxed outdoor spot with amazing art installations, great dining options, and a bar area. many options. There's so much to see and do, and I really loved walking around and taking in all the artwork. They also have a pool area. It's such a fun place to enjoy with family or friends, and they're always hosting different events, so there's something new to look forward to! This place is so unique and visually stimulating! Bartender Connor is great! He had the best personality and was so accommodating! He went above and being to make sure I felt at home even as a patron who didn't drink alcohol. The virgin black Michelangelo drink with the sweet stick was fantastic! Just a tad on the spicy side! The $2.50 until 7pm steak taco was fabulous! The pizzas looked great. Staff were all friendly and fun. Karaoke after our event was a hoot and the karaoke host was fabulous. The pemberton concept is really cool with all of the renovations and art. However, overcrowding is a major issue. What I'd like to see is more of an effort to think of people's experiences while visiting. It tends to be overcrowded and over booked. If an event is going on there is a long line that usually the wait is over an hour in the hot sun. I have been there now 3 times for events and each time it has been miserable due to long lines (food, entry, restrooms, and drinks). RSVP and reservations in my opinion should be first of the line or at least a separate line.. I would say they aren't accessible here. There are stairs everywhere and not enough ramps. Bathrooms especially aren't accessible to get to but they do offer accessible bathroom stalls. What I love about the pemberton when you go and there is not an event going on it's really nice. You have a lot of space and a variety of food to choose from. They have amazing themes that go along with their food and art. They have a restaurant with 2 stories two bars. Another thing I love is their pool! Such a fun time and a great way to have a cocktail! read more

First time at the Pemberton went for a Love Island watch party and what a beautiful hidden gem. The display of art, great food and drinks as well as customer service. If you want a quirky, fun bar experience, the Pemberton is for you. Go early if you want to enjoy a drink on the patio while the DJ plays or go for a dunk in the pool. Towels are provided! The drinks are delicious and they have a great tropical drink menu. Try the blade runner! Keep in mind that they are open early, but the inside areas do not open until 4pm and it gets pretty hot by the pool. There's a lot of shade and misters though! There's quirky art to look at, they do have food, and they also have different themed events at night that rotate depending on the night. The place is like a maze though and was like a maze even before too. For some reason, it seemed more confusing this time around. The Pemberton is a large outdoor entertainment venue in downtown Phoenix. Park along the street or do as we did and pull up in electric scooters. Entry is free, but you do enter through security guards and pat downs. As soon as we were through security, we were immersed in art through color and sound. It felt like an unending psychedelic labyrinth! Through bushes, we spotted meat cooking on a grill. To our left was a lit up bar, the first of many. Keep walking, and soon we were surrounded by paintings. It was like a choose-your-own adventure! Go left towards art or step to the right to find a covered turf lawn with a live band. We grabbed cocktails at a variety of bars, including a Japanese inspired garden. It was like a lucid dream. We walked through an L.E.D. tunnel, passed couples sitting at elevated hexagon shaped booths, and at one point ended up in a house with a dance party. It's a unique concept. Came here with my best friend who was visiting from out of town, and we had the BEST time! This place seriously feels like the ultimate adult playground. The line outside moved pretty quickly even with the ID checks, and every staff member we interacted with was so sweet and welcoming. The themed rooms were SO dope and made exploring the venue half the fun--you never really knew what you were going to walk into next. There are several bars and food stands inside, each with different drinks and food. The place is like a maze in that you can walk through it within 10 minutes. There is a pool, bathrooms, and a karaoke room. Lots of seating. When it gets really busy it can feel a bit clustered in the walkways, but that's with any bar. I had heard The Pemberton was a really cool bar in downtown Phoenix and I have been wanting to check it out for a while, last night I went out with a friend, fellow Yelper Scarlett M, and new elite Kelsey to celebrate Scarlett's birthday-- she had already been to Pemberton and said she loved it, she and I tend to like the same things. And I did more than like it, I loved it as well. The Pemberton has all the things I like in social settings and in general, it had delicious cocktails, great music for dancing, art, and an overall great time for exploring, plus chill vibes. I loved how there were different bar areas with their own unique names, different drinks and food items and they also had a different feeling in each area, which was really fun. The place is huge and walking around exploring it while carrying a cocktail and enjoying some dancing music was the best time . This place also is an Instagram dream, or if you enjoy taking cool photos for Yelp. I loved all the various art murals/ installations and seating areas where you could hang out and chill. I'll definitely be going back, Next time I plan to try out some of the food options, we had already been to dinner so I wasn't hungry, however I saw them grilling up some tasty looking steak for tacos and it looked amazing. Just got back from this fantastic experience The Pemberton. This is a place you need to visit and put on your list of places to check out ! The vibe is awesome--there are 13 different bar areas ranging from a pool, to a Japanese garden, beer gardens, western farm to table theme and more. I recently got a chance to check this place out after seeing it all over my instagram feed. It does not disappoint in person.. the art from the second you walk in is amazing. Everywhere you look there is something fantastic catching your eye. We were in the Paris Park area .. beautiful set up with plenty of seating for our group of 10. I had the mango & strawberry margaritas - both on the happy hour menu. Both were refreshing and delicious. Next time I'm skipping lunch so I can try the food.. the fries I stole off my friend were so yummy! Tatum was our waitress and she was great, checked on us often, sweet & friendly, took great pics of our group and handled our separate checks like a pro!! They have four themed bars each with its own food &drink menus and seating areas to match the theme. The Día de Los Muertos alter at night was beautiful.. definitely go check it out. The new pemberton is so so so cool. Theres artwork and cool lights everywhere. It's kind of like a maze and there's different "outside rooms" with various themes/cultural influences - yellow submarine, Asian, Italian, Mexican.... It goes on. There are lights and cool architecture and fun seating for each theme as well. I got the emerald city at the yellow submarine booth and it was soooo good. A lemongrass strawberry vodka with mint oil and lime and yuzu soda. It was quite amazing and my friends and boyfriend agreed. My boyfriend got a plum sangria from an Asian influence booth and really loved it - had sake in it! He also got a blood orange cosmo and it was very refreshing with notes of sweet and tart. We got there at almost 10 pm on a very hot August summer night and it wasn't too busy - got busier by midnight but it's so large AND OH THERE IS A POOL. I absolutely love this place, the inner artist in me feels fully alive when I am here. The space was renovated and reopened recently and I'm so glad to have the opportunity to explore this really cool spot. You should check it out too! This place is like an outdoor art museum, with 4 bars, music spinning, lots of different nooks and crannies to explore and you could literally play here all day! There is also an outdoor pool area too! I came out here a few weeks ago to scout out a good location for a happy hour meet up and ended up staying for close to 3 hours wandering around like a space cadet! There is just so much artwork here and honestly I can tell you this is one of my fave places here in the Valley! I haven't had any of their food but have had their Mexican-like slushie a few times and it's nice and refreshing on a nice sunny day, with a little kick! I deducted one star because the manager, Brianna, that I was emailing with set us up in the Paris Park area, but unfortunately, it was not shaded at all and the sun beamed on the spot right around 5pm - 6pm, despite her telling me so. She also was kind of curt in her emails when I asked if I could bring a birthday cake and she said OK as long as we didn't have to store or cut it. But, I will say, our waitress, Tatum, was awesome! She took great care of us and despite us being a party of 10, she got us all squared away. We all had a great time and we also got to celebrate some May birthdays together! I checked out The Pemberton for happy hour with a large group on a Wednesday. Located in Roosevelt Row, this is one really cool establishment. I'll touch on that in more depth shortly. Parking isn't easy in this part of town. I have a secret spot where I park for free which was a 12-minute walk. Ambiance (5/5): This is where The Pemberton shines. It may be the largest bar I've ever been to in my life. It's so large that people regularly get lost and I can see how it happens. Think of it as a giant corn maze. But instead of trying to get out of the maze, as you walk through the maze, there's art everywhere. And several different bars. All with their own drinks and menus. Epic. Service (4/5): Taking care of a large group isn't easy. Our waitress was nice and checked in with us regularly. She would forget things here and there (like my to-go box) but it's not easy to take care of 10+ people. The Pemberton charges 22% automatic gratuity for large groups. That's a bit aggressive. 20% I get, you see that everywhere. 22%? That's not something I've seen. Drinks (4/5): I had a mango margarita and a strawberry margarita (both are on the happy hour menu. The drink menu for HH is pretty limited so a beefier happy hour would have been better but I'll take what I can get. They have a bunch of different cocktails at their various bars so I'll have to return to check them out. Food (4/5): I went with the BBQ wings (off the happy hour menu) and a side of fries. The wings were delicious. Crispy, sauced up, and a good size. With a generous portion of fries, solid bar food. The cheese pizza on the happy hour menu looked really good too (someone at my table had it) but I didn't try it. All in all, The Pemberton is an awesome concept. I'd make sure to visit when the weather is nice, though. read more

Went to Pemberton on a Friday with a group of friends for a watch party. Tickets were a bit on the pricey side, but we did get a complimentary Jell-O shot, which was actually pretty good, passion fruit flavored, and I liked it. The drinks and food lines were longer than usual 10-15mins. We explored several inner sections of the venue and really enjoyed the atmosphere. It's been a minute since I've been back here but clearly coming twice in one month says a lot about this place. I'm all about the vibes & energy brought to whatever I do to make it a party. There are so many new and different style of artwork and coves that you could come everyday for HH and it will last about 10 +days straight if you picked an area to chill. Recently, I met up with some friends for happy hour and despite the heat, it was cool. I ended up trying all three flavors of margaritas, classic, strawberry, and mango ,along with the cheese pizza, which was pretty impressive for the price. Looking forward to returning back here again, it will be a little challenging during the summer weather, but there's plenty of shade and coves throughout to have a pleasant experience. This is such a cool place! I went here for the first time for their NYE party - Great Gatsby theme, and it did not disappoint. There were quite a bit of people, but the venue is huge and there's a bunch of different areas for people to wander. I loved all of the random art everywhere, the themed sections to hang out in, and the live music. There's a lot of intentional photo opportunities, which is really fun and even a little Photo Booth ($8). This kinda reminds me of the Atlanta rave scene I love and miss. You have music, art....everywhere, drinks , food, and some dancing in between. This place is perfect whether you roll solo or with friends. Solo folks: there's other solo folks here too so you won't feel alone in a sense. The drinks are an art in themselves. I came on a Thursday evening and had an amazing time here!! The pemberton is a maze of art, food, drinks, seating, and even a pool! There are so many cool and beautiful murals and art installations throughout the entire place! The art is definitely the highlight for me as are the varied seating options. I got a non-alcoholic slushy and two tacos while I was walking around. I was happy to see multiple NA drink options, though they aren't much cheaper than the alcoholic drinks. I went with the al pastor and carne asada tacos which were both delicious and came with guacamole. I had to knock a star off the new pemberton due to the bathrooms and the lack of food variety. The restroom stalls were so insanely small that my knees were practically against the door and I am not a tall person... Also, one of the highlights of the old pemberton was the variety of food vendors scattered throughout. Now, it is just one food vendor and one food menu no matter which station you order from which was disappointing. All in all though, I enjoyed my night exploring the pemberton and will definitely be back! I was able to find free street parking within a few blocks, but there's also some closer, paid options. read more
