11.29.25 - next stop for the night! I've been here a few times in the past before they remodeled the place. I love how the new place looks. The place is like a maze though and was like a maze even before too. For some reason, it seemed more confusing this time around. It's ok though because you get to explore and find cool new stuff to see at every turn. We walked through the place rather quickly though so didn't really get to enjoy the it. There are lights, cool art work, music and multiple bars in here. A little something for everyone! Plenty of areas to get photos at too. Next time, we'll spend a bit more time there.
Great spot for a small group or dates to explore different themed bars and sections full of instagramable moments. With a large group it would be tough to explore while not losing each other. The ability to go to a bar and dip your feet into the pool, with moderately priced bevs... (or just get the whole way in) - fabulous! It was busy enough to be happening but you could still find places to hang and get a drink in a reasonable amount of time. Wish it was open past midnight but that's no fault of them.
This place is SO COOL! First time going here and it was for the Forbes 30u30 event. I had no idea what this place was, but it's huge! There are several bars and food stands inside, each with different drinks and food. The place is like a maze in that you can walk through it within 10 minutes. There is a pool, bathrooms, and a karaoke room. Lots of seating. When it gets really busy it can feel a bit clustered in the walkways, but that's with any bar. There is a dance floor with a DJ The decorations were really cool too. Good vibes!
The Pemberton is a large outdoor entertainment venue in downtown Phoenix. Park along the street or do as we did and pull up in electric scooters. Entry is free, but you do enter through security guards and pat downs. As soon as we were through security, we were immersed in art through color and sound. It felt like an unending psychedelic labyrinth! Through bushes, we spotted meat cooking on a grill. To our left was a lit up bar, the first of many. Keep walking, and soon we were surrounded by paintings. It was like a choose-your-own adventure! Go left towards art or step to the right to find a covered turf lawn with a live band. We grabbed cocktails at a variety of bars, including a Japanese inspired garden. It was like a lucid dream. We walked through an L.E.D. tunnel, passed couples sitting at elevated hexagon shaped booths, and at one point ended up in a house with a dance party. It's a unique concept. Fun for an intimate date night or an outing with friends.
I absolutely love the vibes at Pemberton. It's such a fun place to walk through, with cool art and pop-up bars, each with its own unique theme. It really feels like you could spend your whole night here since there's so much to explore and do. It's almost maze-like, but still easy to navigate. I had heard The Pemberton was a really cool bar in downtown Phoenix and I have been wanting to check it out for a while, last night I went out with a friend, fellow Yelper Scarlett M, and new elite Kelsey to celebrate Scarlett's birthday-- she had already been to Pemberton and said she loved it, she and I tend to like the same things. And I did more than like it, I loved it as well. The Pemberton has all the things I like in social settings and in general, it had delicious cocktails, great music for dancing, art, and an overall great time for exploring, plus chill vibes. I loved how there were different bar areas with their own unique names, different drinks and food items and they also had a different feeling in each area, which was really fun. The place is huge and walking around exploring it while carrying a cocktail and enjoying some dancing music was the best time . This place also is an Instagram dream, or if you enjoy taking cool photos for Yelp. I loved all the various art murals/ installations and seating areas where you could hang out and chill. I'll definitely be going back, Next time I plan to try out some of the food options, we had already been to dinner so I wasn't hungry, however I saw them grilling up some tasty looking steak for tacos and it looked amazing. The space feels so much bigger than it really is with a different vibe around every corner. There's something for everyone here. The art installations keep you super entertained with a variety of drink and food options throughout. A lot of fun seating options and perfect place to walk around and explore. If you only want to make one stop on your night out, this is the place to be.
Just got back from this fantastic experience The Pemberton. This is a place you need to visit and put on your list of places to check out ! The vibe is awesome--there are 13 different bar areas ranging from a pool, to a Japanese garden, beer gardens, western farm to table theme and more. Each bar had its own specialty and there if food to go with. Great music, great lighting and so much to see . The cosmos I had were delicious. Definitely a great place for a fun night out. I'm excited to go back!
This place is always a time regardless of when you go. Went to the Ibiza pool party and had a fun time. I will say the drinks by the pool are pretty awful, the other bars were better. I love how cute this place is decorated, it makes for a super aesthetic and vibey time. Lots of places to take cute pics
Went here on a date night before an event next door. Decent food but the drinks were lackluster. Ordered an old fashioned and it came out clear...how does that even happen. Server was attentive but the poor girl had to deal with the day drinking crew that they dumped next to us. How are you HAMMERED at 6pm...I am refer to a patron by the way. Did the obligatory walk around and take some pictures. It's all very artsy and "gram" friendly. All in all it was ok but not sure I will be back.
I recently got a chance to check this place out after seeing it all over my instagram feed. It does not disappoint in person.. the art from the second you walk in is amazing. Everywhere you look there is something fantastic catching your eye. We were in the Paris Park area .. beautiful set up with plenty of seating for our group of 10. I had the mango & strawberry margaritas - both on the happy hour menu. Both were refreshing and delicious. Next time I'm skipping lunch so I can try the food.. the fries I stole off my friend were so yummy! Tatum was our waitress and she was great, checked on us often, sweet & friendly, took great pics of our group and handled our separate checks like a pro!! They have four themed bars each with its own food &drink menus and seating areas to match the theme. The Día de Los Muertos alter at night was beautiful.. definitely go check it out. I will definitely be back to see everything I missed on my first visit and I'm bringing everyone. Follow them on instagram if you're not already.

First time at the Pemberton went for a Love Island watch party and what a beautiful hidden gem. The display of art, great food and drinks as well as customer service. The tacos were some of the best street tacos I've had in a while. The drinks were strong and overall it was a really cute event. Highly recommend. Will definitely return. read more

If you want a quirky, fun bar experience, the Pemberton is for you. Go early if you want to enjoy a drink on the patio while the DJ plays or go for a dunk in the pool. Towels are provided! The drinks are delicious and they have a great tropical drink menu. Try the blade runner! Keep in mind that they are open early, but the inside areas do not open until 4pm and it gets pretty hot by the pool. There's a lot of shade and misters though! There's quirky art to look at, they do have food, and they also have different themed events at night that rotate depending on the night. They even have a claw machine to win your date a stuffed animal. You'll never be bored at this bar! read more

Went here on a date night before an event next door. Decent food but the drinks were lackluster. Ordered an old fashioned and it came out clear...how does that even happen. Server was attentive but the poor girl had to deal with the day drinking crew that they dumped next to us. How are you HAMMERED at 6pm...I am refer to a patron by the way. I absolutely love this place, the inner artist in me feels fully alive when I am here. The space was renovated and reopened recently and I'm so glad to have the opportunity to explore this really cool spot. You should check it out too! This place is like an outdoor art museum, with 4 bars, music spinning, lots of different nooks and crannies to explore and you could literally play here all day! There is also an outdoor pool area too! I came out here a few weeks ago to scout out a good location for a happy hour meet up and ended up staying for close to 3 hours wandering around like a space cadet! There is just so much artwork here and honestly I can tell you this is one of my fave places here in the Valley! I haven't had any of their food but have had their Mexican-like slushie a few times and it's nice and refreshing on a nice sunny day, with a little kick! I deducted one star because the manager, Brianna, that I was emailing with set us up in the Paris Park area, but unfortunately, it was not shaded at all and the sun beamed on the spot right around 5pm - 6pm, despite her telling me so. She also was kind of curt in her emails when I asked if I could bring a birthday cake and she said OK as long as we didn't have to store or cut it. But, I will say, our waitress, Tatum, was awesome! She took great care of us and despite us being a party of 10, she got us all squared away. We all had a great time and we also got to celebrate some May birthdays together! Great spot to come solo, on dates, with friends, and organize events! Just wish Brianna was bit more cheery and knew the layout of The Pemberton better! I will definitely be back! read more
The new pemberton is so so so cool. Theres artwork and cool lights everywhere. It's kind of like a maze and there's different "outside rooms" with various themes/cultural influences - yellow submarine, Asian, Italian, Mexican.... It goes on. There are lights and cool architecture and fun seating for each theme as well. I got the emerald city at the yellow submarine booth and it was soooo good. A lemongrass strawberry vodka with mint oil and lime and yuzu soda. It was quite amazing and my friends and boyfriend agreed. My boyfriend got a plum sangria from an Asian influence booth and really loved it - had sake in it! He also got a blood orange cosmo and it was very refreshing with notes of sweet and tart. We got there at almost 10 pm on a very hot August summer night and it wasn't too busy - got busier by midnight but it's so large AND OH THERE IS A POOL. I will definitely be back and maybe to try some food as well! It's not cheap though! Tip to leave the way you come in... or you will get lost read more
I checked out The Pemberton for happy hour with a large group on a Wednesday. Located in Roosevelt Row, this is one really cool establishment. I'll touch on that in more depth shortly. Parking isn't easy in this part of town. I have a secret spot where I park for free which was a 12-minute walk. Ambiance (5/5): This is where The Pemberton shines. It may be the largest bar I've ever been to in my life. It's so large that people regularly get lost and I can see how it happens. Think of it as a giant corn maze. But instead of trying to get out of the maze, as you walk through the maze, there's art everywhere. And several different bars. All with their own drinks and menus. Epic. Service (4/5): Taking care of a large group isn't easy. Our waitress was nice and checked in with us regularly. She would forget things here and there (like my to-go box) but it's not easy to take care of 10+ people. The Pemberton charges 22% automatic gratuity for large groups. That's a bit aggressive. 20% I get, you see that everywhere. 22%? That's not something I've seen. Drinks (4/5): I had a mango margarita and a strawberry margarita (both are on the happy hour menu. The drink menu for HH is pretty limited so a beefier happy hour would have been better but I'll take what I can get. They have a bunch of different cocktails at their various bars so I'll have to return to check them out. Food (4/5): I went with the BBQ wings (off the happy hour menu) and a side of fries. The wings were delicious. Crispy, sauced up, and a good size. With a generous portion of fries, solid bar food. The cheese pizza on the happy hour menu looked really good too (someone at my table had it) but I didn't try it. All in all, The Pemberton is an awesome concept. I'd make sure to visit when the weather is nice, though. read more

I truly enjoyed the Pemberton experience. It's a fun, unusual concept and dining experience. Primarily outside, there are unique seating areas. Several bars throughout work many specialized menus. I ordered the lemon pepper wings and fries. Both arrived hot and timely. The wings were not a dry rub,but juicy and delicious just the same. They can accommodate large parties and seperate checks. The staff are all amazing. Thank you Tatum for your hospitality! Street parking nearby. read more
It's been a minute since I've been back here but clearly coming twice in one month says a lot about this place. I'm all about the vibes & energy brought to whatever I do to make it a party. There are so many new and different style of artwork and coves that you could come everyday for HH and it will last about 10 +days straight if you picked an area to chill. Recently, I met up with some friends for happy hour and despite the heat, it was cool. I ended up trying all three flavors of margaritas, classic, strawberry, and mango ,along with the cheese pizza, which was pretty impressive for the price. Looking forward to returning back here again, it will be a little challenging during the summer weather, but there's plenty of shade and coves throughout to have a pleasant experience. Kudos to our server for being attentive and helpful... the staff support she got for our food was also great! read more
I saw this place on tik tok and had to check it out. It def lived up to the expectation. There were so many different places you could grab food and things to do there. I ended there on a karaoke night and It was thoroughly enjoyable. The place is so beautiful and lights up at night. The service was okay at the bar I went to, hopefully others are better. read more

A true hidden gem! This place is filled with stunning art and beautiful decorations at every turn. Each space is full of character and unique features. Huge thanks to Pemberton for letting me host the launch party for my new dating app, ResuMate, it was a huge success! The snake table was perfect for our speed dating event. The food is delicious, the drinks are refreshing, and the vibe is perfect for hosting events, a date night, or just a fun night out. Highly recommend! read more
This is such a cool place! I went here for the first time for their NYE party - Great Gatsby theme, and it did not disappoint. There were quite a bit of people, but the venue is huge and there's a bunch of different areas for people to wander. I loved all of the random art everywhere, the themed sections to hang out in, and the live music. There's a lot of intentional photo opportunities, which is really fun and even a little Photo Booth ($8). I would love to come here during the day so I can get more time to wander and really appreciate all the quirky art. read more
Amazing place! Staff is super nice. It's huge with tons of places to explore and a pool. The art is beautiful, and every detail of the place is so thoughtful. In the winter, it's covered with grass to play corn hole. They have drag shows on Saturday nights. Every drink I tried from the various bar stands was excellent. Definitely a must-see. As a tourist, it beats Scottsdale to me. read more

This kinda reminds me of the Atlanta rave scene I love and miss. You have music, art....everywhere, drinks , food, and some dancing in between. This place is perfect whether you roll solo or with friends. Solo folks: there's other solo folks here too so you won't feel alone in a sense. The drinks are an art in themselves. Okay so you have your drink in one hand and camera in another taking in all the art work. I'm not sure if I saw everything I needed to see (some areas were blocked out) but this is not a place you'll get bored with. I wonder if the art get rotated to put a different selection of artist. I came on a Thursday evening and had an amazing time here!! The pemberton is a maze of art, food, drinks, seating, and even a pool! There are so many cool and beautiful murals and art installations throughout the entire place! The art is definitely the highlight for me as are the varied seating options. I got a non-alcoholic slushy and two tacos while I was walking around. I was happy to see multiple NA drink options, though they aren't much cheaper than the alcoholic drinks. I went with the al pastor and carne asada tacos which were both delicious and came with guacamole. I had to knock a star off the new pemberton due to the bathrooms and the lack of food variety. The restroom stalls were so insanely small that my knees were practically against the door and I am not a tall person... Also, one of the highlights of the old pemberton was the variety of food vendors scattered throughout. Now, it is just one food vendor and one food menu no matter which station you order from which was disappointing. All in all though, I enjoyed my night exploring the pemberton and will definitely be back! I was able to find free street parking within a few blocks, but there's also some closer, paid options. read more
OMG, y'all! The NEW Pemberton is next level! Like, I'm talking full-on Miami Wynwood vibes right here in Phoenix! I've only been to the old spot once (Black Friday crowd, no thanks), but the new setup is a total game-changer. There's so much space to chill, explore, and soak in all the artsy goodness. The Aperol Spritz section? Euro chic, and I am living for it! There are so many spots I didn't get to try because they were booked or packed, but honestly, no surprise there....it's THAT amazing. I can't wait to go back and drag all my friends along. Pemberton, you have my heart! read more

Let's just say, I will be a regular at the Pemberton. My first experience was def worth it. There was no cover, once you walk in, it's already giving awesome views and lighting. It's such a huge place and there's so many turns that lead you to different rooms and themes, and on the spot food trucks. My favorite was Ibiza, it had a pool, good music and they have many bars all over the place, definitely a must. P.S. Make sure your phone is fully charged as you will want to take many pics. read more

Super cool new revamp of this space! There was more variety of food/drinks originally but this version is much more artsy I think! Came here on Friday with friends and spent a few hours grabbing food/drinks and catching up. It's a bit overpriced but you're definitely paying for the overall atmosphere/experiecnce. I had the limecello spritz, a taco, cheese quesadilla and some bubbly. The rest of the table ordered a few nacho fries that were pretty tasty. When we sat down at a large table for awhile, we had a server so we didn't have to keep getting up which was nice. I would definitely come back! @azfitfoodfun read more
Had so much fun here last Friday when I stopped by with friends. I came twice when it was the "old pemberton" and this compares nothing to what it used to look like. The art installations all are unique and fun. The music was lit and there was a pretty good crowd here. At times the walkways did tend to be a little too crowded. We got drinks over at the yellow bus and they were good. We arrived before 9pm so our entrance was free. Overall totally recommend, cant wait to be back! read more
I had THE best time here last night. Probably on my list of top 5 experiences EVER! New favorite spot to hangout with friends, can't wait to go back again and again and again!!! I was not around when the old Pemberton was open, but from what I've heard, the new Pemberton is better! This is a 21+ experience, and parking is on the street. We came around 6pm and it wasn't too busy yet. It was fun being able to view the art in the daylight and at night since it looks so different! There was also live music! Everyone working was kind and nice. Zach and Mateo took awesome care of us! The energy was awesome. Gosh, this place is such a vibe. So many different areas to sit and talk, heater and fires for the evening were all around, as it did get pretty chilly on this March evening. There were two areas with bathrooms. In one of the areas, the bathroom stalls were very small with not very much room. I did feel slightly claustrophobic. But other than that everything was great. There are areas to purchase food and go sit and eat. In other areas, the servers bring food to you. We tried the Brewed Bliss Pretzels and they were amazing. We also ordered the Cream Dream pizza which as good too! The margaritas were awesome! I can't recommend this place enough. You have to go, and bring everyone you know with you. read more
I loveee this place. I've been here twice once in March when I visited for my birthday and again last week in the scorching heat. Love all the art and the staff I meet are so friendly. This place is fairly large with multiple areas for different drinks and it's a whole vibe. read more

Are there any plant based or vegan food options?
We offer potato tacos and braised mushroom tacos as vegan options. Our veggie burger with a gluten free bun is fully vegan. Our loaded fries with no meat or cream are vegan and so is our pizza dough and sauce if you want to have a veggie pizza
How late is food offered?
Wed/Thurs/Sun: last call for food is 30 min before close Fri/Sat: Our taco truck and burger truck close 1 hour before close. Pizza truck runs the rest of the night
The yelp page says it opens at 5 but their website and Google say 6pm?
Hours change frequently. We are starting our summer hours now! we open at 7pm wed-fri. We open 11am on the weekend. Only the pool is open at 2pm Fridays
Is the area and the building wheelchair accessible?
I believe most of the Pemberton (food stalls) are accessible but the house where there are a few shops I'm not sure
