Such a vibe! I didn't try any food but the drinks were great and cheap! Service was also great. Classic dive bar but the decor makes it so much fun and even has a patio. I will be back. PSA: parking is tricky street parking and don't even think about parking at Chick Fil A

Simple dive bar with solid beer, friendly bartenders, good vibes, and tasty small bites.

This was pretty much the only place in Phoenix that I had a good time in the week I was there. It is a dive bar, but it was rather pleasant and felt very safe. Four cocktails was under $40 which is apparently a rarity in Phoenix. The bartenders were solid, the tater tots were excellent. There was a free concert outback. The Photo Booth is a good time, their ATM only dispenses five dollar bills, which was pretty wonderful

Came in as the DJ was playing Ghost Town by The Specials. Yes.

DJ Thursday night played The Specials to Fleetwood Mac. Big patio in the back with lots of seating. Bar has seating too. They have food as well. A dive bar with punk flair. Their parking lot is South of Gracie's, only 10 spots or so, best bet is to come early to snag a spot (like I did) or park in the neighborhood around it using the street parking available. "Chopped Cheese" for $9 was good. Imagine a diced hamburger.

This is a dive bar with cheap drinks. What more can you ask of it? This isn't the place to go if you're looking for something fancy or upscale, but they have a decent food menu and can do any basic cocktail. What makes it a five star review for me is the amount of events they'll host, keeping things fun and interesting. I've enjoyed local music and a Rocky Horror screening here (almost as much as I enjoy their killer happy hour deals). They have an indoor and outdoor space, ridiculously graffitied bathrooms, and a photo booth to complement the grungy vibe.

Good food. Got the curds and the chop sandwich. Sandwich was just ok for the price and the curds were some of the best, even for Milwaukee standards.

When you walk in there is a large photo of a Mafia guy--definitely sticks with the theme of this place. There is a small dining room with a huge photo of their food truck, where it all started in Chicago. There is also a cute neon "gangster." We ordered an American Burger, a Shroom Burger, and a Big Mack salad (chopped lettuce dressed with thousand Island, topped with two hamburger patties, cheese, pickle, and sesame seeds). We really liked the burgers and salad a lot. The buns are so good. We got fries, and they were nothing to write home about. Drinks are sold in the can, and there is a big variety to choose from. The menu here is quite large and there is plenty to choose from, no matter what you're in the mood for. FYI--they win 2025 Best of The Valley!

I could honestly see that it could be difficult to find a parking on weekdays at lunch time! Walked in not knowing what to expect, the young gentlemen who came out was very kind and helpful, knowledgeable the food. We asked what the most popular meal was and he suggested the spicy gangster cheeses burger and fries. The place is cool when you walk in and see the Godfather picture with all the other burger places bowing down to him! I will say The taste was there, food was good burger was tasty for sure! But the "Godfather" would not eat here! The ambiance and presentation were not quite there for us. Honestly I felt out of place after we ordered and turned he corner, there were hardly no tables to open and the people sitting in the tables with the pull out chairs were blocking the booths to sit in, they were watching a basketball game that was literally from 2017!! I think it was a group of the employees or their friends maybe, that's just how it seemed to us. That was a little disappointing. I honestly would not make the drive to go here again.

It was happy hour. The food items are small portions so make sure you order more than one thing from the menu (happy hour is even smaller). I'd like to talk about the happy hour. Food ranges from $3-$9, cocktails $9 and house wine $9. The cocktails are small also. We orders 4 different foods from the happy hour menu. We were planning on sharing them but when they came out we realized it was only 1 slider, 1 scallop etc. the only thing that had more than one was the meatball.. I highly recommend on NOT ordering the meatballs.. My first order was so burnt and hard to even cut. I had let the staff know, they noticed it also and I had shown them. It did take another 25 minutes for me to get the meatballs, they just tasted dry and not good. I'm not sure if they are frozen and then put in the microwave or what but the quality of the meatballs were so bad. However the polenta that comes with the meatballs was delicious. Also I had ordered the chicken slider from them menu , it was raw in the middle and burnt on the crust. I had shown the staff this also. They told the kitchen to make another. It came right after the meatballs. The scallop crisp and lobster slider was better! I'd recommend those two items! The crafted cocktails are so GOOD!! Best thing in their menu was not the food but their cocktails! We ordered 3 different cocktails and red wine Malbec. All of them were so good but tiny because it was for the happy hour. Accessibility parking is available, I'd say it's Challenging to fit a wheelchair at the tables or booths. The environment does get loud and they do play louder music.

Afterwards, he mentioned that he tasted it and agreed about our comments- I appreciate that level of attention. Shortly after, the food arrived. Spicy pork tacos for me, and BLTA for my wife. The tacos looked a little overdressed. I was so wrong. Flavor and texture were balanced perfectly. The tortillas were firm, but again, perfectly suited to the juicy pork, that had a teriyaki vibe. Sprouts, carrot and cucumber toppings worked well, despite my expectations. The BLTA was HUGE. Great flavor. Both entrees were ordered with sweet potato fries. Unusual cut to them, but seasoned perfectly. I paired mine with chipotle aioli and ate every last one. My only complaint is that I'm only spending one evening in the Phoenix area, and won't be back soon. I would eat this food three times a week without hesitation.

On a busy Saturday night, he graciously allowed us to push it back by an hour, which we really appreciated. When we arrived, we were immediately impressed. The jungle theme, leopard prints, intimate booths, and dramatic overhead lighting created a fun, unique atmosphere. The service was excellent, the cocktails were delicious, and every dish we ordered was a hit. My son said it may have been the best steak tartare he's ever had (although neither of us was a fan of the plantain chips). It was certainly the best tartare I've had in a very long time, with generous chunks of high-quality steak instead of being overly minced. The baked brie dip was outstanding, the grilled oysters were excellent, and my New York strip was cooked perfectly. My only small criticism is that the oyster appetizer came with just three oysters. For a $19 appetizer, I'd love to see at least four. An even number also makes sharing much easier, although my son generously let me have the extra one! Overall, this is a fantastic concept with great food, great service, and a memorable atmosphere. We can't wait to come back.

We called about half hour before and made a reservation by phone. I was disappointed that my first order choice of the Seabass was unavailable and my second choice of lamb chops was also unavailable. Not sure if this is because it was a Sunday night and/or we made the reservation immediately before showing up. They were also out of the Melted Cast-Iron Brie Small Plate that we were excited about ordering for the table. We loved this restaurant because of the dark and jungle-themed interior. We were excited to see the bold taxidermy featuring the large cats combined with the ornate, gold- framed dapper animal art hanging on the walls. Another reason to love this spot: hidden inside is an entrance to a secret cocktail lounge, or speakeasy, called "Drop Dead Gorgeous." We also appreciated the entire restaurant centering around a glowing, raw wood-fire cooking pit. We could hear and watch our entrées being prepared. What we didn't love so much: the items that we would've liked to have ordered were unavailable. The price to portion ratio in the small bites could also be improved a bit. Great service from our waitress throughout the evening. We ordered: - Fire Roasted Bone Marrow for the table (3/5) - sourdough toast, jalapeño marmalade with demi. I was so excited to try bone marrow for the first time. It was interesting. Sort of like a mix between butter and fat from a steak. It tasted really good with the spicy jalapeño jelly and bread provided. I expected us to be warm and it came out cold. Still not sure if I like it or not. Maybe I'll give it a second try - White Oak Grilled Chicken Skewers (4/5) - served with shiso leaves, kimchi, shishito peppers. kosho aioli, lemon aioli, ssamjung for the table - Very yummy. We enjoyed these. We had actually changed our mind right after initially putting in the milk bread order for the table and they brought out the milk bread so quickly that our waitress said she would give this to us on the house. - Milk Bread for the table (4/5) - miso tomato butter, almond & Kalamata. Even though we changed our mind and got this sent to our table accidentally, I would order this again. It was very delicious and it comes out as an adorable little tomato shaped and colored milk bread with the toppings looking like the stem on top. So tasty and everybody loved it. A little small for our party of five. - Lemongrass Half Chicken (5/5) - Caramelized carrots, kyoto roasted garlic, mashed potatoes & jalapeno jam. Hubs loved this. He said everything was delicious and went well together. - Bomba Rice x2 (5/5) - Risotto, shrimp, linguica, chicken, piquillo peppers, green peas, kosher aioli & Parmesan. My son and his girlfriend both ordered this and said it was very good. - Shishito Caesar Salad add Chicken Skewers (5/5) - bonito, charred shishito peppers, ricotta salata, tapioca chicharron & togarashi. My daughter ordered this and said it was very good. - Spicy Peanut & Tomato Salad add Chicken Skewers (5/5) - peanut dressing, heirloom tomato, baby gem, daikon radish, onion, mala chile, whipped queso de cabra & sour nut. YUMMMM What a creative and unique salad! So glad I tried it. It has unique flavors that work well with each other and a crunch. There's also some heat that goes along with the salad. I was able to withstand it. My son would probably say it's not spicy at all. I'll be craving this salad for months to come. - Dad or Daddy Specialty Cocktail - bright, buzzed & stoned vodka, apricot liqueur, Riesling cordial, ginger, lime, topped with Red Bull Peach Edition (White Peach) - Fruity Mocktail - I asked the waitress if they had any mocktails and she asked me what I liked and gave me examples. Based on what I told her she brought me out a delicious fruity mocktail topped with fresh mint. Parking along the street at metered parking or in parking garage nearby. A few streets away from Tempe Town Lake.
