Our waitress was amazing for being so short staffed and the kitchen being backed up. She kept us updated on the wait times and apologized and was really sweet. The food was really good I got the eureka American burger and the truffle fries were delicious! My friend got the salmon that was cook perfect and seasoned well. And you can never go wrong with fried pickles as an appetizer!! I went to Eureka last Sunday night after 9pm with 4 coworkers on a business trip. It was not busy. There were only a couple of other tables with people. There are Eurekas where I'm from in Los Angeles, so I knew what to expect. That being said, our service at this location was amazing, amazing enough to be the reason I'm writing a review. Our server was Kat. She got us waters right away and pointed out the happy hour menu while also recommending some specific items. She was quick, informative, and super friendly. She also answered questions and made recommendations for the person in our group who has food allergies. The food at the Eurekas I've been to has always been good, and this location was no exception. Our group got the fish and chips, Brussels sprouts, chicken lettuce cups, a burger, and the Korean frachos. We'd had a long day and wanted to dig in. It was all super good. No complaints. This all being said, service can make or break a dining experience. Kat's attentiveness, timing, and overall demeanor made the visit to this location stand out. Beautiful location and love the interior of the restaurant. The hostess was nice but the customer service lacks on our waitress side. We werent greeted promptly and to even order water took awhile. $14 for a double smash plus $4 for sweet potato fries makes it quite pricey. I think it was the manager that brought our food and my boyfriend asked him for ketchup for me. He completely forgot as he walked around the restaurant. That was rude. Finally asked our waitress when she came by but I was not impressed with the service. Business slowed down and it took awhile to also get our check. Theres no promptness. I would give this place another try. Maybe not get the expensive burger or not even bother for sweet potato fries or maybe just sit at the bar. The star of it all was the mac and cheese balls. We opted to eat here after arriving in the area. Apparently there were plenty of events happening in town/all around so it wasn't super packed or busy during lunch time. Note: the adjacent parking structure is the preferred spot, since this venue validates parking, as opposed to the metered street parking that does 30 minute increments. The staff was quick to greet and seat us. We opted for the bar so we could check out the selections on hand. They had a few barrel picks priced decently per pour, but ended up getting a Stagg pour (at a good price). The food selections were just too had to pass up, so we got a bit or everything: Steak Frites, Crispy Glazed Brussel Sprouts, Chicken Lettuce Wraps, and Ahi Poke Stack. Almost all of the items came out quickly and at the same time, we just waited a bit longer for the Steak Frites. The presentation of each item was nice and almost a work of art on each plate. The steak was a skirt steak cut with fries, cooked at medium rare (as ordered) with some tasty chimichurri sauce on top. The ahi poke was nicely layered with the black rice on bottom, guacamole on top of that, ahi on there, then the firecracker aoili and the other ingredients arranged neatly on the dish. It kinda resembled a tiny layer cake. They served this with a side of fried wonton chips. That was honestly a dish that I thoroughly enjoyed for all of the different flavors. The chicken lettuce wraps were just as delicious. I loved the chicken, sauce (hint of spice but tangy and sweet), and cashews. There was a decent amount of lettuce and filling that came with this dish. The Brussel Sprouts were also delicious, I just didn't realize the chile glaze was a lot spicier than anticipated. The key was tiny bites with minimal sauce. If my spice tolerance was higher, I probably could've been able to eat it in its entirety. The dish was still well prepared. At check out, we were using some gift cards we had gotten, but failed to realize it was one per person per trip. The manager made an exception at let us use 2 cards for this visit. I came to this spot knowing they have a decent whiskey selection, but realizing they have some amazing food too! And apparently they also had lockers for Whiskey Club members (membership in the club gets them access to a discovery box of curated whiskey) to store their whiskey bottles. Unique concept. Not sure about the club, but a definite fan of the food. And for this location, the scenic views, and courteous staff. read more

I stumbled upon this restaurant while searching the maps for something to eat in my surrounding area and then remembered I had saw signs with the name when visiting another restaurant nearby a few months back. I did choose to pick up my food to go, but still, upon entering the restaurant, the decor is sleek, modern and the space seems very appropriate for a casual, intimate date night. The hostess was kind and quick about giving me my order also. Let's talk about the food now, soooo many things on that menu sounded good so I decided to try multiple. Had lunch today with a friend at Eureka! When you arrive you will either have to pay for parking by valet or take a short walk from the garage down the block and around the corner. Which I did, and I have to say, the day was absolutely beautiful so my walk was short and sweet. My friend used the valet and said it was $10 Garage was $4 for the 1st 2 hours My friend arrived before I did and had us a table on the patio to enjoy the weather and our food. I was able to enter off the patio which was so great. Hung was our server today (pictured) and his service was 100% customer focused. He was so kind, very friendly and very helpful. He started out asking if it was our first time there, which I loved because, he then welcomed us again. Amazing! When we were placing our order, Hung gave some great recommendations and my friend had questions about the taste of her drink and Hung offered a taster shot for her. I love when that's available. As we placed our order, I ordered the Bacon-Jalapeno Jam burger and a strawberry limeade. ** Tip 1 - - you do have to order sides on some menu items as they do not all come with sides automatically. My friend orders the Ribeye Philly cheesesteak hand held sandwich with tater tots and the ginger soda drink (for which she was able to sample it before getting a full glass) We did also ask for water as well. ** TIP 2 - No free refills on the drinks. Which was unfortunate. Our order came out quick and the taste of my burger was so good. That bacon jalapeño jam was so good. Next time I'm going to need extra sauce. As we sat outside, the patio area was so relaxing and again the weather made it so much more better. Any chance I get to sit outside and enjoy a good meal, I'm all for it. I did end up going inside to use the restroom and although it was very clean the floor was terribly sticky. My shoes were suffering lol with the stickiness. Hung checked on us throughout our visit and his customer service was top notch all the way through. My over all experience here was absolutely amazing. Was seriously craving a good burger, and Eureka never disappoints. I went with my favorite--the 28 Day Dry-Aged Bone Marrow Burger--and it hit the spot. The bone marrow shiitake butter, grilled onions, horseradish mustard aioli, and roasted Roma tomato come together perfectly. Every bite was rich, flavorful, and satisfying. I swapped the regular fries for sweet potato fries, which were great--but I really wish they offered an option to do half sweet potato and half truffle fries. That would be ideal. I also got the fried mac and cheese bites, which were great as usual--crispy on the outside, gooey on the inside, and super flavorful. First time visiting was a great experience last week! Brought my daughter and her brothers to celebrate her 24th birthday and our server was 10 stars. Why I can't for the life of me remember her name is a deep regret, but she was fantastic to all of us - instant besties! My son was at commencement @ ASU on 5/11, and she sat a couple of chairs down from him, so hopefully she know who she is from this review! We started out with a couple of cocktails that were really good (strawberry lychee martini and a farmer's market cocktail) and a stout. We ordered the mac n' cheese balls and korean beef frachos (french fries) and holy smokes, delicious! The m&c had bits of crab and gooey cheesiness and crunchy texture all around, while the frachos had thick cut potato wedges smothered with cheese, pickled onions, diced chilies, and savory korean beef on top. We had to go easy and not double the order because we wanted to try their entrees as well. We ordered the fish and chips, al pastor fish tacos, wagyu bone marrow burger, and a seared salmon. The side of roasted purple potato medley was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Extremely yummy! Throughout our meal, our server checked on us regularly, waters always taken care of, and she went the distance in creating a birthday "shot" for my daughter from the bar! Where you can find a selection of food items including hamburgers, fries, nachos and salads! Eureka is known for their variety of hamburgers! As I felt like something a bit healthier, I picked their steak salad! Unfortunately the salad's steak was totally overcooked. When reordered the steak again, the steak came out raw! Not acceptable for consumption! Also nachos were nothing to look at; nachos were flat with no substance: almost looked like they were made in the microwave! Sad! Ordered twice with no success! If I could give zero stars, I would. The customer service was extremely disappointing, the wait time was excessive, and the food came out cold. What stood out the most, though, was how unwelcoming the environment felt. It seemed like the staff--including the manager--were not comfortable interacting with customers of color. The lack of acknowledgment, basic friendliness, and attentiveness made us feel like we had to force interactions just to get service. I've visited other Eureka locations and had much better experiences, but this one in Tempe was by far the worst. It's 2026--there's no excuse for a lack of basic respect and inclusivity. Management seriously needs to address this, whether through better training or accountability. It's disappointing because I spent my money here and still made sure to tip, despite the experience. Everything about this place is and can be great! On non -game days, this has been perfect. Kaia has served us more than once and is always friendly and attentive! The cons: game days are understaffed!!! Last week we got seated but didn't see a server, so the manager took care of us, and he was fantastic! Today, it seemed to be a different manager at the bar.... I love that management is there on staff, but feel like they should be filling drinks or changing kegs rather than expecting over-worked staff to do that. Overall, I love EurkeKa and feel like management and staff go above and beyond to make everyone's experience great! To make things better, 1. games days should have more bartenders or bar backs to help staff, 2 not a huge deal, but working bathrooms or dedicating one for men would make things faster. It's always exciting when I find a new place in town with a solid vegan option. Let me preface that a standard black bean burger won't get me out of bed in the morning, but I saw some people talking about this beet burger and had to come try. The crispy beet burger was super good, it was crispy (as described), wasn't dry and pasty like your standard black bean burger, the patty is made with beets and kidney beans, and the burger is vegan. I also tried their grilled veggie tacos, which were a big 'ol let down. The grilled veggies were carrots, like the carrot sticks that come as a side with every order of hot wings, ever. Sure, I *like carrots, but I've never seen them as an entree before and honestly, I hope I never see them like this again. These street tacos didn't have much flavor or substance to make me feel good about spending the $15 for three of them, they were pretty disappointing and there are much better taco options for plant based consumers in the Phoenix area. The bill; I thought the menu price was different than what I saw on the bill. I second guessed myself four or five times before asking the server if I could see the menu again. I'm pretty positive it was an honest mistake, but the server stated they accidentally up-charged our bill by selecting the "third party" items instead of the in person items within their system when putting our order in. Along with that came the third party pricing, about a 10-15% increase to what the menu showed; I assume this is the ubr eats and Grb Hb delivery rates. This was lunch time and there were only about three tables sat in total, so I don't really know what else was preoccupying the attention of the person entering the items into the computer. The server did go back and take care of the price adjustments to the printed menu prices. So thanks for that. The bathrooms, just like everyone else, they've got to have some sort of kitchy underhanded poke fun at people using the bathroom, be it a stick figure holding themselves in a weird but obviously male way on the way in, an upside down triangle versus a sideways horseshoe indicating ladies vs gentlemen, or something else entirely like Eureka. The bathrooms are gender neutral, but that didn't stop them from insulting my gender with a nice message reminding men to wash their hands because I just shook something else, but ladies, sometimes you shake men's hands and men don't know how to read so they don't know they're supposed to wash their hands. I'm not really sure how to take it, I know it's a joke, but are you seriously attempting to insult men everywhere with your suggestion that we don't wash our hands or know how to read? All in all, I loved the beet burger, I'll eat it again if ever I return. There's plenty of room for improvement here; although, I'm not sure how soon I'll be back soon to find out how well improved they've become. read more

It's pretty new, and it was a little quiet when we were there, but with all the construction going around I can imagine this place is going to be packed soon. It may be it now at a different time of day. It's a nice open airy atmosphere and has a large dining patio. We had the best server ever, Chloe, who is not only cute as a bug's ear, but super helpful as well. I mentioned I hate truffle and she made me laugh when she made a little joke about it when she came back to our table. I ordered the barbecue burger which comes with bacon, house barbecue sauce, cheddar, and onion strings. It's served with delicious fries. I do have to say this is one of the few places that actually cooked the burger exactly like I asked-- medium rare--bravo!!! My son got the tacos with a side of street corn. From the moment you walk in, the entire staff is welcoming, friendly, and genuinely happy to be there. It's rare to find a place where everyone consistently brings that kind of energy. The drink selection is excellent with a wide variety of cocktails, beers, and options for whatever mood you're in. The food is always delicious, well prepared, and consistently hits. I want to give a special shoutout to Felisha. Her professionalism, positive attitude, and attention to detail make a huge difference and truly elevate the experience. We asked about the lunch menu after being seated (at 11am) and were told that the happy hour menu is the only other menu aside from the main menu. Ok, decided to go for the suggested shrimp taco's (servers suggestion) which came with two. We were told that these were the lunch menu items so we asked about the lunch menu again and lo and behold, were given a lunch menu after ordering, WTF right! So, our server was clueless that there is actually a difference between the lunch menu, regular menu and happy hour menu, which HH is not till like 3pm.... Tried to laugh it off but since we were being charged for the lunch menu item, we had to ask for our sides that never came with the lunch so they brought the sides, after asking for them. Aside from that, our server never once bothered to refill our drinks, never even asked if we would like one all the while she was busy folding napkins and transporting the silverware back and forth, never to even check in on us. Mind you, my napkin was so dirty with rolled up silverware still in it, it looked like it was dropped on a pan of freshly cooked fajitas, which they don't even offer, nasty. My family chose to dine here before the ASU graduation ceremony. We did not know that you could make reservations, but they were kind enough to see this outside where with the misters it was very comfortable. I enjoyed the Smashburger with some of the best tater tots I've ever had. One of my daughters had the Caesar salad with grilled chicken. From creative craft cocktails to a fantastic lineup of beers, everything we tried was spot-on. What really made the night stand out, though, was the service. The manager, Luke, personally came over to check in on us and couldn't have been more pleasant. He was friendly, genuine, and took the time to have a real conversation with us--not just the typical quick table touch. It made the whole experience feel personal and elevated.
