Mixed reviews about this place. The service is very slow and they seem to be understaffed maybe. Although the food is great, we waited 45 minutes for our drinks and over an hour for our food. The only saving grace was our server T. T was amazing throughout our dinner and has a great vibe. So if you are going to Eureka for dinner I would recommend asking for T. We went in with a large party with a reservation on Thursday night. I've been to other locations and loved the service/food, but this location did not measure up. Kids meals came out first, which was perfect, but the other meals were sporadic. A burger came out, but the fries were 4-5 minutes later. I won't be back to this one. read more

It's always exciting when I find a new place in town with a solid vegan option. Let me preface that a standard black bean burger won't get me out of bed in the morning, but I saw some people talking about this beet burger and had to come try. The crispy beet burger was super good, it was crispy (as described), wasn't dry and pasty like your standard black bean burger, the patty is made with beets and kidney beans, and the burger is vegan. I also tried their grilled veggie tacos, which were a big 'ol let down. The grilled veggies were carrots, like the carrot sticks that come as a side with every order of hot wings, ever. Sure, I *like carrots, but I've never seen them as an entree before and honestly, I hope I never see them like this again. These street tacos didn't have much flavor or substance to make me feel good about spending the $15 for three of them, they were pretty disappointing and there are much better taco options for plant based consumers in the Phoenix area. The bill; I thought the menu price was different than what I saw on the bill. I second guessed myself four or five times before asking the server if I could see the menu again. I'm pretty positive it was an honest mistake, but the server stated they accidentally up-charged our bill by selecting the "third party" items instead of the in person items within their system when putting our order in. Along with that came the third party pricing, about a 10-15% increase to what the menu showed; I assume this is the ubr eats and Grb Hb delivery rates. This was lunch time and there were only about three tables sat in total, so I don't really know what else was preoccupying the attention of the person entering the items into the computer. The server did go back and take care of the price adjustments to the printed menu prices. So thanks for that. The bathrooms, just like everyone else, they've got to have some sort of kitchy underhanded poke fun at people using the bathroom, be it a stick figure holding themselves in a weird but obviously male way on the way in, an upside down triangle versus a sideways horseshoe indicating ladies vs gentlemen, or something else entirely like Eureka. The bathrooms are gender neutral, but that didn't stop them from insulting my gender with a nice message reminding men to wash their hands because I just shook something else, but ladies, sometimes you shake men's hands and men don't know how to read so they don't know they're supposed to wash their hands. I'm not really sure how to take it, I know it's a joke, but are you seriously attempting to insult men everywhere with your suggestion that we don't wash our hands or know how to read? All in all, I loved the beet burger, I'll eat it again if ever I return. There's plenty of room for improvement here; although, I'm not sure how soon I'll be back soon to find out how well improved they've become. read more

We had a great lunch at this spot near ASU. It's pretty new, and it was a little quiet when we were there, but with all the construction going around I can imagine this place is going to be packed soon. It may be it now at a different time of day. It's a nice open airy atmosphere and has a large dining patio. We had the best server ever, Chloe, who is not only cute as a bug's ear, but super helpful as well. I mentioned I hate truffle and she made me laugh when she made a little joke about it when she came back to our table. I ordered the barbecue burger which comes with bacon, house barbecue sauce, cheddar, and onion strings. It's served with delicious fries. I do have to say this is one of the few places that actually cooked the burger exactly like I asked-- medium rare--bravo!!! My son got the tacos with a side of street corn. Amazing burgers and fun/classy vibe inside! I highly recommend coming during happy hour too the prices are too good. I love me some good fries and the Truffle cheese fries HITS 10/10. Came here 9/3 at 10pm Server was wonderful ! black hair blonde highlights very sweet girl. but I did witness the bartender short chubby widows peak dark hair bartender bullying the server and trying to tell her she gave him less money than she did. I handed her the cash myself and watched her hand him the money as well. kind of messed up as a server myself that's not working as a team. Guy was extremely rude when we spoke up for the server and said he wasn't going to trust a stranger.. what happened to customer is always right? not a good bartender at all but a great server. I went to Eureka last Sunday night after 9pm with 4 coworkers on a business trip. It was not busy. There were only a couple of other tables with people. There are Eurekas where I'm from in Los Angeles, so I knew what to expect. That being said, our service at this location was amazing, amazing enough to be the reason I'm writing a review. Our server was Kat. She got us waters right away and pointed out the happy hour menu while also recommending some specific items. She was quick, informative, and super friendly. She also answered questions and made recommendations for the person in our group who has food allergies. The food at the Eurekas I've been to has always been good, and this location was no exception. Our group got the fish and chips, Brussels sprouts, chicken lettuce cups, a burger, and the Korean frachos. We'd had a long day and wanted to dig in. It was all super good. No complaints. This all being said, service can make or break a dining experience. Kat's attentiveness, timing, and overall demeanor made the visit to this location stand out. First time visiting was a great experience last week! Brought my daughter and her brothers to celebrate her 24th birthday and our server was 10 stars. Why I can't for the life of me remember her name is a deep regret, but she was fantastic to all of us - instant besties! My son was at commencement @ ASU on 5/11, and she sat a couple of chairs down from him, so hopefully she know who she is from this review! We started out with a couple of cocktails that were really good (strawberry lychee martini and a farmer's market cocktail) and a stout. We ordered the mac n' cheese balls and korean beef frachos (french fries) and holy smokes, delicious! The m&c had bits of crab and gooey cheesiness and crunchy texture all around, while the frachos had thick cut potato wedges smothered with cheese, pickled onions, diced chilies, and savory korean beef on top. We had to go easy and not double the order because we wanted to try their entrees as well. We ordered the fish and chips, al pastor fish tacos, wagyu bone marrow burger, and a seared salmon. The side of roasted purple potato medley was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Extremely yummy! Throughout our meal, our server checked on us regularly, waters always taken care of, and she went the distance in creating a birthday "shot" for my daughter from the bar! They have Happy Hour and it's decent. The one thing I would say I ordered a glass of Red wine and I was asked 6 or 9 oz-the HH price was $8 for 6oz I ordered 9oz it was not on HH and it $15 had the bartender told me it is a better deal to get 2-6oz pours I would've went with that order. If I could give zero stars, I would. The customer service was extremely disappointing, the wait time was excessive, and the food came out cold. What stood out the most, though, was how unwelcoming the environment felt. It seemed like the staff--including the manager--were not comfortable interacting with customers of color. The lack of acknowledgment, basic friendliness, and attentiveness made us feel like we had to force interactions just to get service. I've visited other Eureka locations and had much better experiences, but this one in Tempe was by far the worst. It's 2026--there's no excuse for a lack of basic respect and inclusivity. Management seriously needs to address this, whether through better training or accountability. It's disappointing because I spent my money here and still made sure to tip, despite the experience. Very nice ambiance. Love how the outdoor seating have the water mist in case people sit out and it's to hot. Trey was our server at the bar area. Very nice and lovely man. He recommended the flavor of wings, I liked the orange chili glazed better than the beer bbq sauce. It was a little to much sauce for me. Either way we actually received an extra side of wings. I AM NOT A FAN OF THICK BATTER TENDERS. My friend ordered the French dip, he said it was okay. I ordered the flight of mimosas, I only liked the OJ and blood orange mimosa flavors. I had an incredible experience here from start to finish. The food was phenomenal--every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The burgers were next-level, the truffle fries were dangerously addictive, and the appetizers were so good we ended up ordering more than we planned. The drink selection was just as impressive. From creative craft cocktails to a fantastic lineup of beers, everything we tried was spot-on. What really made the night stand out, though, was the service. The manager, Luke, personally came over to check in on us and couldn't have been more pleasant. My spicy agua fresca was so good, next time i will definitely order the larger size. The Tipsy Pig OF came with a cute presentation. You have the option to pour your own pig, but we wanted to record the full experience. We started with the wings(1/2 orange chile glaze and 1/2 bourbon dry rub) perfect crispiness, HOT and the dry rub was for sure the favorite flavor. For dinner I had the beet burger, it was delicious and a perfect texture, did not get soggy and fall apart. The vinaigrette on the arugula is good but not enough moisture for the burger. If the vinaigrette was more like an aioli, that would be awesome. I asked for a chipotle aioli on the side and it was perfect. For my side , i had the spicy ginger green beans and i wish they sold these by the bag bc I would eat these daily. We also had the Double smash with fries. First time in today and it was a great experience! Elias was our server and he took the most perfect care of us. He had great suggestions and got us extra sauces when needed, and checked in on us frequently. We got the brussels sprouts to start, which were amazing. This restaurant is located right in front of the college campus and there is a parking garage attached to the building which makes it super convenient & you do have to pay for parking as well. When we walked in we got seated right away to our table & were a huge party of 6! Now when it comes to the service omg horrendous. Mind you this is located right in front of ASU and ALL waiters, bussers, hostesses are very young college students. Our waiter was extremely young and definitely lacked customer service & overall experience as a waiter. Asked for a sweet tea that came with a leaf inside so i asked her for a new one, she didn't come back with a new one until all the food had came for the table and I had already finished my food and we were ready to pay. That's how long it took to get an ice tea that didn't come with food inside. She was stunned and confused why I didn't want my tea when we were ready to pay and leave by then when the point is so drink something as your eating.. like I mentioned she was very young. The food is overall good. I got a simple lettuce wrapped burger however none of the burgers come with fries..? Everything is all separate, it was odd but it was fine. Also the waiter never told us they were sold out of there sweet potato fries either we had to ask to find out. Eureka in Tempe was an incredible experience from start to finish. It was my first time visiting the location right by ASU, and everything about it completely exceeded my expectations. Our server, Jewels, was so sweet and attentive--her kindness and professionalism made the evening even better. The food was outstanding. I had the salmon, and it was honestly the best I've had in years--cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The restaurant has such a great energy too; everyone was friendly, upbeat, and welcoming. The manager, Luke, even stopped by to check on us and surprised us with a dessert--the bourbon barrel cake, which was absolutely delicious. We also got smash burgers and the Napa chicken sandwich, both were good. The truffle cheese fries were so yummy. My husband got an old fashioned and that was the only downfall. It has a watered down taste. Service was great, our server was very attentive and let us know that happy hour on Saturdays goes until 6. 4/27/2024 Wife and I were in the area after hiking up Hayden Buet trail. We passed some locals and they told us that there are some good places to eat between 5 and 7th streets so we decided to go give it a try. We came upon Eureka and saw they had a big bar and outside seating so we parked and went in. We sat at the bar and Jake greeted us, the menu is big but not overly stuffed with different foods making our decision hard. To drink I ordered the Tipsy pig Old Fashion with had tea, the old fashion was excellent. We both ordered the Cowboy burger wife had fries and I had the sweet potato fries. I also asked for a side of their spicy bacon jam, OMG this was a top 10 burger that both my wife and I have eaten before. The fries were ok but the sweet potato fries with honey drizzled over them was excellent. The bar tender Jake was excellent he had only been working there for like 3 months we also spoke with a manager. He was also extremely friendly. When back in the area we will for sure come back and try this place again. Another place making me wish I could give 3.5 stars. They aren't a 3 but they definitely weren't worthy of a 4 in my opinion. We were greeted by the hostesses right away. They were very friendly and welcoming. Walking in I was immediately taken by the contemporary decor with mood lighting. It's a very trendy mellow vibe. Once seated the stars began to fall. There were many servers and bussers working, but not a single person spoke to us or acknowledged us, even when checking in on the tables right next to us (the tables are CLOSE so it was a bit ridiculous). It took 15 minutes for a server to come by to even say hello and take a drink order. We finally got water about 20 minutes in. We were ready by that point and decided just to order off the happy hour menu because we were already disappointed and didn't want to wait for the regular menu items. Our server did apologize sort of by saying they were "really busy." That wouldn't normally stop a server for at least greeting you and giving you water while apologizing and saying they'll be back soon. Happy hour is nice since many of the menu items are in the pricier side. Happy hour offers some tap beers for $5.50 and a burger with fries for $12. The burger was fine, just a little boring. The star of the show was the Mac n cheese balls for $7. They were creamy, spicy, and delicious. The kids meal came with fries and a drink for $10 which was nice. This place was surprisingly great. Wasn't douchey like we thought it was going to be seeing as how it was right on campus. The app, burger, and kids foods were all soooo good, plus they brought out "complimentary kids snack" (carrots and orange slices) to tame the littles while we waited for food. We were excited to dine at Eureka in Tempe, after having a fantastic meal at their restaurant in Las Vegas. College son attends ASU, so we came to him in Tempe for this dinner. It was a Monday night, and we were early for a happy hour sort of dinner, at 430. The restaurant was not busy. Our pleasant server took drink orders, and got us some happy hour beverages, wings and Mac and cheese balls going. I had a spa day margarita which had a very slimy cucumber foam on top. Ew. We ordered half buffalo and half dry rub wings, based on my recollection that the dry rub was incredible. It indeed was incredible and should have ordered more of these crunchy flavor bomb wings. Son was eager to try this deep fried Mac thing, and it did not disappoint! Gooey inside, firm and crunchy on the outside. I stole the ranch side to go with my sweet potato fries later, which I did need. Had a hard time getting a second drink or a water refill here, our male server seemed more interested in a table of men his age on the patio. Eventually I was able to order a happy hour vodka cocktail called the Wild Child which was watermelon and yummy! From here, we ordered a couple of smash burgers from the happy hour menu, and son ordered the egg and jalapeno burger. Spouse always gets medium rare, while son and I prefer ours medium for less moo. Our happy hour burgers came with regular french fries, although I upgraded to the sweet fries and got my burger lettuce wrapped. I asked for a side of ranch which never came, but fortunately I had scored the one from the appetizers. Sons burger $18, did not come with fries, so he added a side. They came on the same plate, a small handful of french fries compared with the standing cup full of fries served with the happy hour smash burger. We dug in and had a few bites before discovering our medium burgers were totally rare. Like too rare to eat, mushy inside. No excuse (when the place wasn't busy) to rush these babies off the grill. Server eventually came around, and so we sent them back. I kept my sweet fries and nibbled on them while waiting. Although son relinquished his fries on the plate when the burger was returned to the kitchen, we assumed they would give him fresh fries when the burger came back. They did not, and we didn't ask. The second round of burgers were perfectly medium and much more enjoyable. We also ordered a bourbon barrel cake for dessert , and we all had a few bites with ice cream. So, it was a delicious ending to a mixed meal. The manager came over to apologize for the burgers, and took half off both.
