My first experience was frustrating because the dress code appeared to be enforced selectively. My guy friend was turned away for wearing the exact same attire as another guest who was allowed in. My date and I were enjoying our evening when we were asked if we wanted to cash out. I wasn't ready to leave, but I agreed. When I swiped my card, the server asked if I would like to leave a tip. Of course, I wanted to tip for the service, but I was taken aback when I saw the total. I proceeded with the cashout and then requested an itemized receipt. That request seemed to be an issue with the server, which immediately raised a red flag for me. Upon further inspection of the receipt, I noticed that gratuity had already been added to my bill. **My question is: Why would the server ask me if I wanted to leave a tip when gratuity was already included?** That experience left me feeling misled and uncomfortable. Almost three months ago, he went in, and when they did last call, he was heading out and accidentally left his bag inside with his laptop in it. He tried to go back in to get it, but was refused entry and was told the bag was not there. Fast-forward to yesterday, and now I see a Facebook post stating that the Tempe Police Department has the laptop. I contacted them, and that's not the case. So I'm genuinely confused. If the bag and laptop weren't there almost three months ago, how are we now being told that the police have it? I'm not looking for an argument--I just want some answers and, most importantly, I want the laptop back.
