What a great spot for outdoor dinning. The menu had a great variety of burgers, sandwiches, salads etc. I settled on the Salmon Burger. It was delicious! Our server was very sweet and attentive. The best part about this restaurant is the location. The restaurant is on the shore of the Lakes neighborhood in Tempe. With a nice breeze today, the ambiance was fantastic.

Beautiful seating everywhere!

So sad... we come here semi regularly when cool enough and in town. We were excited to return but found out the pork chile verde is no longer served. Sophie the server/bartender tried to find some options, which we appreciated. But this is one of our main reasons we come.. yes the other food is good, yes the people are friendly and the view pretty (especially at sunset) but oh so disappointing when you lose a favorite.

Cute outdoor restaurant by the lake! The mac n cheese was very cheesy! Goat cheese burger was good, but the fries were a bit salty. I recommend making reservations since it can get busy.

Prices are great, portions are also great! Despite the tiktoks saying how bad the food was my food was great the nachos & carbonara + italian soda. Only complaint is that guest are allowed to smoke at the bar area and the misters seemed to be turned on to high. Service was great overall.

Great outdoor spot for lunch (there is no indoor seating). They have a covered area and a very hot un covered area right by the lake. My friend and I sat outside by the lake and the sun was blaring at us, so it was very hot. It was really busy so we couldn't move to a more shaded area but I really wanted to try there food so we stuck it out. We started with the meatballs and they were SO good!! For my meal I ordered the Lamb and goat cheese burger and it was AWESOME!! The food here was outstanding! Unfortunately, the service was very slow and our server failed to do the smallest of things like bring us small plates for our app, silverware and refill our drinks as needed. Ambiance 4/10 (unless in the shade) Service 5/10 Food 10/10

The ambiance was amazing: come at sunset for amazing views and live music! Service was a little slow and parking was not ideal, as there is actually a hired security guard in the parking lot outside Pier 54 who will direct you to park in another lot. Food was decent and loved the drinks. Great and sweet alcoholic beverages for those who do not like the taste of alcohol.

Love Taco Tuesday! The Shrimp Tacos are to die for. The Ambiance and view of the lakes is awesome! Love that they allow dogs on the lower patio!

Seeing some lower star reviews we weren't sure what to expect, but we went anyway and thought it was really good. Only 4 minutes from home and we would go back to Pier 54! We had brussels sprouts and cauliflower appetizer, salmon burger, lamb burger and fries, and shared tiramisu for dessert. All were just fine and tasty, and was served to us in the normal amount of time it would take at any restaurant. Don't pay much attention to the bad reviews. We had reservations at 6:30 on Saturday and got a great table with a perfect view on the top level. There are no smoking signs all around and didn't smell smoke at all. Server was attentive and she was friendly, ambiance was great and the music was entertaining. The sunset was beautiful. Would give it five stars, but thought adding a fee for using a card was tacky. There was a nice lively, but good crowd of happy folks there too, not loud or obnoxious! (The security guard at the first parking lot was kind of crabby in telling us to go to the next lot to the south, no big deal at all walking to the restaurant from there.)

Great Spot with Awesome Vibes! I stumbled upon this place while driving by and decided to book a table in advance for a birthday celebration--and I'm so glad I did! Our server was super chill, friendly, and very attentive. He brought us water and menus right after we were seated and made us feel welcome from the start. We brought a birthday cake with us, and they were kind enough to let us enjoy it at our table--big plus! I asked about mocktail options for the two birthday guests (both underage), and our server recommended two they ended up loving. The weather was a bit muggy, but the lake view--especially at sundown--was beautiful and made it all worth it. The live music added such a great touch and really helped set the relaxed, upbeat vibe. We were a group, so we ordered a variety of dishes to share. The pretzel was a standout--especially with the homemade mustard and cheese combo, which was perfect when mixed together. The nachos were solid, though I wish the cheese had a little more flavor. The pico de gallo on top, however, was really fresh and tasty. Carne asada fries were delicious, but I think they would've been perfect with shredded cheese melted on top instead of the liquid cheese. We also had the Wagyu hamburgers, and they were *very* delicious--juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. The roasted vegetables were amazing too--super flavorful and perfectly seasoned. And the bacon-wrapped shrimp? So good! They were melt-in-your-mouth delicious and came with a side of steamed veggies that were simple but tasty. Overall, the vibe felt super friendly--like a fun neighborhood party by the lake. Great food, great service, and an awesome spot to celebrate something special. Would definitely come back!

Excellent lunch at pier 54. Our server Anthony was attentive and provided great service . Food was excellent as was the cocktails . Views are lovely and the misters misting cool air overhead were great . Thank you :)

I visited this establishment for what was advertised as a wonderful Mother's Day brunch to celebrate my daughter's very first Mother's Day, and I left feeling utterly disappointed. Upon arrival, we encountered security directing us to park in a separate lot, which was frustrating. When checking in, they didn't even ask about our reservation and seated us in a filthy booth with a yellow rose on the table. Service was lacking with only one waitress catering to the entire dining area. The menu was small and restrictive, allowing no substitutions. We ordered two grilled cheese sandwiches that were extremely basic and not served on Noble bread as claimed--just toasted bread, and it wasn't even grilled. My daughter ordered a Caesar salad with chicken, which was basic but a small step up from the sandwiches. To make matters worse, our mimosas were served in glasses that had lipstick stains on them--really unacceptable for any restaurant. We paid $35.00 for a bottle of cheap champagne for the table. When I complained they brought us a new glass. However we had already poured the cheap champagne into our glasses so we were just expected to transfer the germs. I was shocked by the final bill, which totaled $157.78, including an 18% tip, and we were charged a special fee 20% fee for the brunch that was not clearly communicated beforehand just in fine small print. This left a bitter taste in my mouth. Even now, almost a week later, I still feel jaded by this experience. We noticed another menu on the table that we were not allowed to order from, which added to our frustration. I cannot recommend this place to anyone and strongly caution others against choosing it for a special occasion. They should be ashamed of themselves.Shame on you Pier 54 for taking complete advantage of Mothers on Mother's Day.

We went on a night with live music and the vibes were impeccable. We didn't make a reservation and sat at the bar. The bartender kept forgetting about us but she was pretty busy with other patrons and was very nice. The food was great and my only criticism is that a cheese board should always have more than just 2 cheeses. I'm not sure if this was due to their supply that night but as a cheese girl I like my cheese boards cheesy. The drinks were solid and the view was amazing.

I'd say the ambiance is really cool. Great views of the water with outdoor seating. I was not really impressed with the service or the food. However, with that said I would still come back for their specials. Looks like they have a taco Tuesday, "wild women Wednesday" and some date night specials where you get a free bottle of house wine of you spend $50 on food. Dessert menu is limited to just cheesecake and tiramisu- so we skipped it. When we first got here there was a guy with a shirt that said security on it who asked us to move our car because he said that the Korean bbq place next door would tow us. I did not see any signage indicating who could park where etc. Also if you're in a wheelchair I'd say it may be difficult to get to some seating. The hostess asked me when I arrived if I had a reservation but it didn't seem like they were busy- but maybe they prefer that folks make a reservation. Live music was good, but a little loud if you were looking for a quiet meal. But they don't always have live music. They offer a cash discount which the server did not tell us about not did I see it anywhere on the menu.

Ask the Community - Pier 54

Are dogs allowed?

The short answer is no. They do allow service dogs. And the laws on what a service dog is have changed over the years. I believe they don't allow emotional support dogs, but trained and certified service dogs are allowed. We had one time that we…

Is it currently open?

Yes, it's open year round with the exception of when there is inclement weather, which is very seldom.

We got the Chicken Tinga Nachos as an appetizer and it was a perfect amount for the 4 of us. I got a burger and it was pretty delish. One thing I will say is their sweet potato fries definitely do not taste fresh, I'd guess they are frozen/sysco but what else do ya expect nowadays? We got the s'mores pizookie for dessert and I really enjoyed it. It's baked to order so it takes a little bit but I thought it was worth it. And if that's not your thing, Menchies is right next door and always a treat. Tons of games and such and they even had trivia on the TV. Just a really great neighbourhood spot!

Everything seemed fresh and the presentation was on point as well. We had a party and booked it for outside, as we were told they have misters and it's in the shade and very doable. Part of that was correct- their misters weren't working. There was no real attempt to move us inside, other than splitting up a birthday party across the restaurant. The main issue is that no one told us- I had to go inside and ask why they aren't on. Not a great look, but I'll be back to try them again.

Allison and Les (apologies for any misspelling) took great care of us and checked in often. Menus were also recently updated with the change. Ordered the Gold Rush cocktail and the Miso Ocean Trout for dinner. The cocktail was done very well with a good balance between the alcohol and flavoring. The trout was probably one of the best fish dishes I've ever had. The miso paired so well with the dynamic sauce and the fish along with the sticky coconut rice and greens. I also took a bite of my friend's The Boar sandwich and it was delicious - fries were amazing. Will definitely be back!! I called to confirm the time speaking with both Allison and the GM who were very kind in answeriing my questions. I usually don't dine at restaurants first thing when they open or right before closing, but we made it before 1:30pm and it was great. There were a handful of people dining in so I was relieved that we weren't the only ones there at that time. Allison was our server and she was really great! Very friendly and excellent customer service. The bartender was awesome as well. He had greeted us upon entering and brought waters to the table. They were only offering brunch which worked out because the jerk chicken sandwich I wanted to try was on that menu. OMG this sandwich was delicious although I couldn't taste any jerk seasoning on the chicken maybe due to the amount of mango slaw. I ordered the truffle fries which were excellent. The food was served hot, fresh, and beautifully presented. Next visit will be for happy hour food and drinks :)
