Horrible customer service. Sat at the bar at an empty seat, saw there was a phone next to the empty seat. The man who was sitting there came back and didn't say anything that I was sitting there. A rude female came and said to get out of the seat. I asked if she was sitting there, she said "yeah". I took a seat at a table behind the bar and lo and behold, the rude female goes behind the bar as she is an employee! I was disgusted by the rudeness and paid for my one beer and left. Cool atmosphere, definitely a local bar because the patrons stare at you. It was 93° and no air conditioning is wild. Food was okay, typical bar food. Waited about 15 minutes at a wobbly table to be served. read more

A friend of mine was in town for business and was staying at the Gila River Resorts & Casinos - Wild Horse Pass. I've been wanting to check out Dirty Blonde Tavern for a while, and since it was nearby, this was the perfect opportunity. We walked in and seated ourselves. Shortly after, we were given menus and asked if we'd like something to drink. We both ordered Arnold Palmers. I was torn between the Reuben sandwich and the Fish and Chips, so my friend and I decided to order one of each and share. Our server, who was efficient and friendly, brought us our drinks. As we both sipped our Arnold Palmers, we simultaneously wrinkled our noses at the taste - it was as if the lemons and tea had declared war on each other. It wasn't a deal breaker, but not one of the better Arnold Palmers I've had. Oh well! When our food arrived, we split our meals. I quickly realized that ordering the Fish and Chips was a mistake. It didn't look bad, but it appeared to be something similar to three pieces of Gorton's frozen fish. The beer batter acted more like a protective force field than something meant to add flavorful texture. I half expected the fish to scream, "You shall not pass!" However, the Reuben looked delicious! We both agreed that, while the fish wasn't inedible, it certainly wasn't what we'd consider to be good. I didn't even finish all the fish. On the other hand, the Reuben was great, and the fries were also very good! The coleslaw that came with the Fish and Chips was disappointing - it was watery/soggy and overly sweet. It was also lacking the creaminess that I expected. It was like the coleslaw had taken a long swim and forgotten its towel. Despite the Fish and Chips failing to impress, I'd come back again. The service was fast and friendly, and the Reuben and fries were excellent. Next time, I'll probably try one of their burgers. read more

Excellent bar and grill, the sign is hidden by the trees in front. Their food is on point, tried a bunch of items. The menu is huge! The standouts were definitely the Reuben, Philly and banana egg roll dessert! The nachos are the biggest things like ever. read more

Seems this place is always open, which is great! The drink menu is hugs, lots of beers ... but the food is amazeballs. Not what you would expect from a late-night kitchen. We've made this a regular stop after late-night classes for a beer and a bite. The service is always first-rate, especially considering g the staff to patron ratio. They are always super friendly, as well. The place can get loud, with the DJ or Karaoke, but that is part of its charm. You can always hang out on the patio, as well. They always have something fun going on, as well. read more

I loved that I found this place during a week long visit in Chandler! Relaxing friendly vibe from the staff (Nicole, Eva and Victoria) and tasty food choices aplenty! TV screens have all the sports and the open floor plan lets you enjoy people watching too! Cocktail menu was tempting but cold beer on a hot day (in November?) was my go to! when I am back in Arizona I will be headed back to the Dirty Blonde Tavern! read more

I have been going to DB for 6 years. I'm not a regular, so no one reading this review will recognize me. That said, the food is amazing, the prices are good, and the ambience is fun and welcoming to everyone. All that said, of the 30? or so times I have been there - the service is FAST at first, then tapers off as it is time to leave. While I appreciate not being rushed out - I also don't want to hunt down our server to pay. The food is a bit slow but they are also usually busy. The salsa is spicy and TOP NOTCH. read more

The food was good we got wings and potstickers...need to double fry the wings to make them extra crispy and the potstickers need the chill sauce. This is definitely dive bar in chandler which I'm all about love a good dive bar! Visited on a Sunday! Not bad, the drinks were quick. Liked that they have happy hour from 11-7 everyday! The mimosas were $3.50 each not bad at all. Next time I want to try! We did the jack mule or whatever it was called. A pretty drink. Typical sports bar. I visited during the day, unsure how it is or the crowd at night. Good amount of people , you could tell some were regulars there for beers and to watch the Baseball games.. Food wasn't bad. Bar food. A good selection to pick from. I like that they had tots! Not every bar does. The garlic fries weren't special they just lather the fries with minced garlic nothing else. Asked for Cajun tots and those had flavor being covered in Cajun seasoning. I have been coming to Dirty Blonde for years- sometimes once a week, sometimes once in a few months. I have always found the service to be amazing, the food to be fairly good and the experience to be enjoyable overall. Tonight I went in to give myself a Birthday treat, and the food was predictably good- not great but not bad by any stretch. I had a three taco plate with carne asada meat- the salsa is delicious!! I enjoyed impeccable service from the bartender who was also my waitress (as I was sitting at the bar). She was quick to attend to my every need and very pleasant and kind. The area where I continue to be disappointed when I visit this establishment is the atmosphere/ambience. When I first started coming I was really drawn to the eclectic classic rock/current pop/80's/kind of all over the place music that was always playing. The last 5 or 6 times, when I come in, often music is not playing. I will put some money in the Jukebox and start playing some music, which I also find enjoyable, but my songs will be cut off after 1 or 2 and the Jukebox will then be paused. Not only does this lead me to have spent money on songs that never play, but the atmosphere is so much less fun without music playing. I'm not sure why they do this- I'm not playing uber obscure music like Tibetan monk chanting, I'm just playing Queen and The Rolling Stones. I might try going again, but I doubt it. read more

Did not like! The bar smell of old liquor. Many bar flies. (people who are regulars that are fixtures at the bar). The waitress was really nice! The tables and chairs were falling apart. Would not recommend! read more

New in the area and wanted to meet up with my friend so picked this bar near my place. Met up at 7:30 and it was always pretty crowded. The servers were very friendly and constantly checking up on us. Got our food in less then 5 minutes, while the carne asada was a tiny bit spicier then I'd prefer, they were still very good and affordable. I had bottled beer but my friends first vodka cranberry had ice yet was somehow still lukewarm and was more vodka then anything which she didnt enjoy, but the 2nd one came out great. Digital jukebox is always nice since I can play from my app, crowd picked great songs of all genres. It was a very mixed crowd of ages, styles, etc. But great atmosphere too. I'll definitely go back and hang in the corner to shoot pool :) read more

This is a cool sports bar to hang out at. My wife and I enjoy visiting different bars in the area but this one is a hidden gem in a shopping plaza. It has plenty of variety of beers from lager, ales and iPas. Great selection and they also have food! I usually get an appetizer if I get the munchies while drinking. Bartenders are nice and friendly; excellent service. They tend you within a matter of seconds. They have music trivia on Wednesday nights. We enjoy playing trivia so chances are you can catch us there on any given Wednesday. I believe they also have billiards in the back near the restrooms and a TouchTunes jukebox. Overall this bar is friendly with locals ranging from all ages. Everybody is welcome. This bar is awesome! read more

Stumbled upon this bar as checking out the Chandler area as me and my husband moved to Arizona last year. One visit and we are now hooked! We come whenever we get the chance and when in the area. The bartenders there are the sweetest and serve you quickly. They serve food there as well and it does not disappoint, very delicious! We come here every so Wednesdays when they have trivia night. I LOVE the Dirty Blonde Tavern! It's a locally, woman-owned sports bar and grill that's totally appropriate for families and groups of friends. First, the food is completely DELICIOUS. My favorites are the bacon, artichoke flatbread with chicken and mushrooms AND my garlic-parm wings! YUM! (My mouth waters thinking about it) My low fat "go to" is a Garden Salad with grilled shrimp. And, Taco Tuesdays are delish, too! Next, they almost always have my favorite sports games on the TVs and most often with the sound. I love meeting up with groups of friends here. But, I also enjoy the local crowd when I show up on my own. There's a decent pool table, darts, karaoke on Sunday and Monday nights @ 9pm and Video Bingo along with Trivia on Wednesdays starting at 7pm (with Dirty Blonde bucks as prizes!) DJ Adrenaline is highly amusing and will play any karaoke song you want. If he doesn't have it, he will get it. He definitely attracts a very talented crowd of singers, which makes it not only fun, but great to listen and dance to! Great little neighborhood bar definitely very local and lots of regulars. Closed out my tab was overcharged a bit. made sure to bring it up to the bartender. They were very good about fixing it. Walked into the bar, sign says to sit yourself. No one carded my group. Mind you this is after 11pm. Sat ourselves at a table and after ten minutes no one came to our table. We finally went up to the bar to give our order and tall heavy set long brown hair bar tender didn't get her name immediately interrupted us and demanded our IDs takes them to the other side of the establishment refused to go to our table to get the rest of our parties IDs saying we must go get our drinks ourselves. We weren't loud and we even greeted her when we walked up. If you want to go to a friendly bar go to Good Time Charlie's down the street as soon as we walked in bar tender got our food order and drinks with a smile. read more

I usually don't review most places but this one felt like it needed to be done. It was my first time going to this sports bar? Country bar? Pirate ship? Not sure since all they had playing was country music and music that gave me the impression we could have been on a pirate ship and although they had a TouchTunes machine your music never got played. Me and a buddy of mine went to watch the game and have a couple of beers, after about 20 minutes of catching up I ordered a sample platter as an appetizer. After ordering it took about 20 minutes to come out and half of my appetizers were at best lukewarm, I bit into one of the fried Mac n cheese balls and the center was...almost as cold as the beers but hey at least the beer is meant to be enjoyed cold. I'm not a picky eater and I hate to be the one to send something back so I ate what was lukewarm, just wish the food was hot and fresh for the price tag, we spent about $100 between the appetizer and a couple round of beers and some shots. Thankfully the staff was friendly and would swing by every now and then to ask if we needed anything. Overall an alright place with okay happy hour deals. read more

Came here for dinner with others from our conference. This place is very loud but they deated us in a back room so it wasn't as bad. The food was really good and the servers kept us attended to. As long as you don't mind very noisy then this place is a nice place to come eat and they have a good selection of beer and spirits. read more

A nice tavern with very nice and friendly servers and bartenders as well as the owner. Food is not bad actually. I've been going there on and off for the past 5 or 6 years. Good place to hangout after work for happy hours or just stop by and have a drink. My only gripe (1 star deduction) is the water. The water tastes horrible, even after I squeeze a couple lemons. They should invest in a nice RO or some drinking filter. read more

Western Dirty Blonde Cowgirl? No that's not the name of a porno. It's one of the great burgers at DBT. I wasn't sober but pretty sure the burger was good. No dress code here. So I frequent Arizona for work and since we are in the middle of the NBA playoffs I was looking for a place to go near my hotel. This place popped up between my hotel and my coworkers so here we go. Upon arrival I was pleasantly surprised there was no line to get in and the patio out front was pretty open. The same goes for inside. The crowd was light and the venue was huge. Full bar, food menu, friendly attentive staff and a pool table. Who doesn't love a pool table. I'm definitely glad I had a few cocktails before having their jalapeño dip. You know the saying. However, the burger was delicious. I definitely recommend and who knows, you might see me here again the next time I'm out in Chandler. read more

My husband and I love this place! We love all the girls, they give excellent service, so nice, and check on you often. We have been going there for about 9 months plus, on and off. We love their food, so good! Hard to find a bar with good food too. This is it! They never disappoint! We highly recommend it to anyone that loves good food, good drinks, and friendly, and fast service. They have trivia, karaoke, a pool table, and darts. The atmosphere is very nice! Cute place! They play all sports games on the many big screen TV's they have! They have a very nice, comfortable patio area, so you can dine outside also. They don't look at you funny, or make fun of you if you are not a drinker, and order water, or tea, or coffee Lol. read more

For entrees we choose the pasta pomodoro and the farmers market pizza which were both very tasty. The pizza had so much flavor l, especially the crust, and the texture of the pasta was perfect!! When I arrived and spoke with spouse he had already been waiting 20+ minutes. When I checked in with hostess to see if there had been any changes I was promptly schooled that "he was told "XYZ" and there's one table ahead of us still... I disregarded that vibe, figured because it was "busy" or because it was "Saturday evening" and everywhere is busy... I felt the senior hostess was curt when I inquired about the status of our wait, so I tried to brush it off. Just inefficient all the way around. From seating and neglecting to ask about seating preference (could there have been a shorter wait?), initial greeting by server, or was it a bus boy?, beverage order and wait for food. Couldn't even get a full glass of water poured or full carafe brought to the table while we waited for service. It was all very disappointing and I feel completely led astray by the ratings and reviews. I truly can not believe we waited 1 1/2 hrs just to be seated so we could eat pizza. Oh, but wait! It's pizza on 130 year old sourdough yeast?! Whatever. The pizza was alright, but the entire experience certainly didn't improve the taste of the pizza. Tourist trap? Maybe. Trendy? Because it's located in downtown Chandler? And then there's the parking scenario. If you're staying at the San Marcos or the other hotel downtown, walking here will be quicker than trying to find a parking spot. Carpool would be my other suggestion because parking really is a premium. And I want to add, the hostess never came to let us know a table was ready. We were only offered a table when my son went in to check the status. Only then did he get asked if we would be open to outdoor seating. Maybe Brunch has something more to offer. IDK. But I'm certainly not inclined to recommend or dine here again.

I'm the only one of my family who still kept making a 30+ minute drive because it was a decent price for decent quality. They also have amazing carrots (sometimes). Over the years, especially nowadays, I cannot say the same thing now. You may get a good steak, or it may be a horrible steak. It may be seasoned perfectly, or you can receive overseasoned/underseasoned. You can order how you want your steak, but it depends on the cook. You may get an overcooked steak or undercooked. You may receive only part of your order if you order takeout. The carrots may be absolutely delicious one time, horrible the next time. Quality control is a major issue here recently. I have always been the one in my family to say "Oh it's not a big deal, I'm sure they're busy and just got the order wrong," etc. but this time I cannot think of an excuse. To order an 8 oz steak, paying for an 8 oz steak - only for that steak to have an absurd amount of fat to where it basically turned into around 5 oz, I am genuinely speechless this time. I am a regular customer here, and while I've had really horribly made food and really well made food, this inconsistency is not okay. I don't think the 30+ minute drive is worth it anymore after this experience. I have also noticed the managers that work here now compared to a few years back don't really seem to care if they get your business or not. You can tell them part of your order is wrong, and they stare at you as if you'll gladly eat it anyway until you have to verbalize that you would like it redone. Overall, it's been a pretty bad experience lately, and I just don't see it being worth it anymore. Edit: I decided to give them another shot today, the manager I spoke to was very kind about everything after I had explained what had happened last time and said they would make sure it would not happen. With exposed brick walls and rich wood finishes, the historic site provides an upscale, contemporary urban and industrial-chic setting. After easily finding parking in walking distance from the entrance, we arrived shortly before midnight of the 7th. They were closing soon, but we had enough time to order a round of craftly-made cocktails and beers to down quickly. It helps when your friend knows the bartender. Enter smiley face emoji here. THE BRICKYARD DOWNTOWN is credited for the first place that I ever tried a CLOVER CLUB, a pink, frothy cocktail with fruity, citrusy, velvety qualities. I was instantly tickled pink, literally, by the nostalgic feel of the elegant concoction, topped with artfully designed egg white foam and served in a vintage-style champagne glass. What a beauty of a drink with a touch of class and sophistication!
