The chicken parmesan was completely overcooked and dry with mushy bread crumb coating. The pizza crust was like cardboard. Maybe the a la carte meal quality is better, but I won't come back to find out because dinner was very disappointing.

You are able to order food from the Crust Simply Italian restaurant menu and it gets served to you. We ordered the Spicy Garlic Knots and the Calabrian chili it comes with on the side was perfection for that kick spicy food lovers look for. The Margherita pizza tasted fresh, warm, crispy and I would order again. We came in on a Friday night (9pm), we were greeted and sat in a booth for four right away. It was busy, lively, loud, super dark and filled with eye catching artwork/photos. The only part I did not enjoy in my experience was our server. Our server provided us with subpar service because she would not let me finish my statement, would leave me mid-sentence, would forget to check in our table, once I paid she left quickly and didn't give me a chance to request my receipt on her handheld card reader. I would return for the drinks, food and hope the service from the server would improve.

I ordered via uber Eats delivery so the first thing I saw was their packaging for to go orders and…read moreit was super cool! The sandwiches were in tall boxed containers so nothing was smooshed and all intact! Then the bottom slid out from side of box making it an easy little plate. Loved that! We ordered a couple of sliders, regular French fries, an all beef hot dog and a build your own fried chicken. We all loved the food overall. The sliders were our favorite! The chicken didn't have much flavor and the bread on the hot dog bun wasn't our favorite it was unlike a usual hot dog buns, more of a hard bread than a soft bun. Because we ordered out we did not see the inside atmosphere. I'm sure we will visit at some point!

They have a dog friendly patio and although we didn't bring ours this time around, we learned that they offer an unseasoned burger or dog for the pups. Extensive drink menu with beer, wine and a huge variety of cocktails. We both were feeling like brats so that's what we ordered (das brats)...no brown mustard but they have yellow mustard available. It also comes with grilled onions and sauerkraut. This is an excellent dog and they serve it on a Hawaiian bun, which adds a nice sweetness to the sandwich. We couldn't decide so got an order of tots and onion rings. The tots were nothing special, just your standard tots fried to a crispy finish. The onion rings were thick with a lot of batter although they were cooked well because when you bit into a ring, the onion didn't come pulling out with the bite. They serve their food on metal trays which is different but fitting! Overall a fine meal and we'll be back!

Sat at the bar where service was good, drinks were expertly prepared and really enjoyed the dessert! Food looked great as well, I really wish we had eaten here instead of wasting money at the other place.

This review is long overdue…read more After drinks and bites at The Living Room on Saturday, May 6, 2017, Rachel took Allen, David and me to THE BRICKYARD DOWNTOWN for more alcoholic beverages. Nestled in historic downtown Chandler, in the narrow sliver of Boston Street, the speak-easy themed cocktail bar and restaurant is located inside the former home of the Chandler Arizonan, the city's original hometown newspaper since 1912. With exposed brick walls and rich wood finishes, the historic site provides an upscale, contemporary urban and industrial-chic setting. After easily finding parking in walking distance from the entrance, we arrived shortly before midnight of the 7th. They were closing soon, but we had enough time to order a round of craftly-made cocktails and beers to down quickly. It helps when your friend knows the bartender. Enter smiley face emoji here. THE BRICKYARD DOWNTOWN is credited for the first place that I ever tried a CLOVER CLUB, a pink, frothy cocktail with fruity, citrusy, velvety qualities. I was instantly tickled pink, literally, by the nostalgic feel of the elegant concoction, topped with artfully designed egg white foam and served in a vintage-style champagne glass. What a beauty of a drink with a touch of class and sophistication! Almost made me want to throw on a flapper dress and dance the Charleston...until I realized the need to balance from the powerful punch in the serious drink. Fancy, stiff cocktails served at THE BRICKYARD DOWNTWON fo shizz. No complaints about that here! It's been a while since I visited Arizona. Maybe it's time to return. If/when I do, I will mos def drop by THE BRICKYARD DOWNTOWN again!
