My dirty palmer and a jello shot

Awesome dive bar, I stumbled across near my hotel. Kelly was so attentive and friendly. I met regulars so came back again, and met Colby, who was super kool too. Everyone was welcoming to this Cali girl, and we all kept the Jukebox going. They offer pizza, popcorn, and a variety of snacks. Oh, and don't forget to try the jello shots.

    Supreme pizza. Yum!

Come for the drinks, stay for the pizza. Best pizza in the valley! The staff here is truly the best. SKOL

This place is so down to earth! We got referred to this place while we were at another bar and we came the same night and it happened to be their 40th anniversary!! The owner was here and he was the nicest human being ever! Everyone was having a good time. If your from MN and love the Vikings this is the bar for you!! They had a pot luck and we were invited it eat it.. obviously we participated! Sunday specials can't be beat if you like Miller lite and if you don't .. go home.. or suck it up buttercup and drink a Miller lite .. it's technically water

Friend told me she was going stir crazy, just moved her from Colorado and wanted to get out of her 4 walls and wanted to shoot some pool, me not being a pool shark had no idea where to go, but knew someone at work who would, he told me to check out Jupes, so I told her come Friday night we are hitting Jupes, What a great little neighborhood find we found, Jupes is like Cheers for our hood, it's a nice little dive bar, which I liked, had 2 pool tables, friendly bartenders and customers were nice too, didn't seem to mind the 2 new chicks. We played a couple of games, and then decided it was time to go run amuck, so off we went! I can say I will be back to Jupes, liked the feel of the place!

Don't go! Unless you like a bar with no music and only accepts cash. The bartender didn't have any ideas of a fun shot to take ‍

What an unexpectedly fun night!…read more I honestly had no idea what I was walking into when a friend told me I had to check out Bikini Lounge because they know I'm drawn to all things eclectic. They were absolutely right. From the moment the friendly bouncer smiled and said, "Step right on in," I was hooked. Yoooow!! The first DJ was incredible. He was spinning all kinds of trip-hop, indie, electronic, and remix-style tracks that had everybody partyin'. It wasn't your typical dance music, but every song seemed to connect with somebody in the room. The crowd was incredibly diverse, and it was so much fun watching people of every age and style dancing and nobody cared. The second DJ, a younger woman, shifted the vibe a bit and leaned more toward a younger crowd. It wasn't quite my style, so I took that opportunity to grab a seat at the bar and do what I apparently do best... chat with complete strangers. I'm a talker, and thankfully they seemed just as happy to strike up a conversation. This isn't some fancy cocktail lounge, and that's exactly the point. It's authentic. There were people dancing at the bar, grooving in their booths, bouncing in their seats, and filling the dance floor with great energy. I came by myself, and within minutes a cool group of strangers invited me to squeeze into their booth like we'd all come together. That's the kind of place this is. At one point they even offered me a glass of beer from their pitcher. I politely declined (look at me making responsible life choices... sometimes), but then I realized almost everyone had pitchers! So I sauntered over to the bar. I did have to wait a bit; apparently chivalry doesn't extend to letting a woman cut the line, but once I reached the bartender, the service was fast and friendly. Every trip back to the bar was the same. No complaints there. As the night went on, the energy just kept building. Before I knew it, I was on the dance floor sweating, smiling, and dancing with complete strangers. After a while, I had to retreat to the patio just to catch my breath before heading back in for more. My ankles are still sore... and the glutes? Fuhgetabouttit! The best part of the night wasn't the music or even the drinks. It was the people. Every generation was represented. Every fashion style imaginable. Every personality. And somehow it all worked. There was this genuine sense of joy and community that you just don't find everywhere. If you're looking for polished and upscale, this probably isn't your spot. But if you want great music, a welcoming crowd, zero pretension, and one of those nights where you leave happier than you arrived... give Bikini Lounge a shot. I went in not knowing what to expect. I left wondering why I'd waited so long to go.

I honestly don't think I could do a better job writing a review than what's in the description…read moreprovided above. Cheap drinks, like, really cheap. Great food (hot crisp tots) and a jukebox full of happiness. I came here for the first time due to VIVA PHX. I live north of town, and had no idea this place existed. I do now! I've only been back once, but it was so clearly my happy place that I will be back again and again. The booths are cozy, and the outside is pleasant.* It's a great spot for live music under the stars. And the staff - they are - like - nicer than I've even thought possible in a bar nowadays. I was there during happy hour last week and was offered a pitcher or a pint. I got the pint, but it went down so fast I needed another. The barkeep laughed and said "I knew you should have gotten the pitcher. I'll only charge you the difference in cost for the second beer." The difference? $3. Seriously. *The outdoor atmosphere was perfect when I saw Kora Puckett in late April. I'm not sure it would be in late July

Came here to rendezvous with an old flame and it was the perfect location for finding some trouble…read more Bouncer at the entrance was super nice. I told him I parked in a spot that didnt exactly look like a spot but was big enough and seemed like it would work. He grinned and said as long as you don't park overnight, everything will be fine. Bar is inviting and this place is definitely divey, I was about to sit down at the bar when approached on the other side, caught off guard, and there he was, handsome and hunky just as I had remembered him years ago. Place was packed on a Monday night and by 11pm, more people showed up. Reminded me so much of NYC. We sat down at the bar and bartender was prompt and helpful. I ordered a mezcal margarita and he had a wheat style draft beer. Conversation locked in sync just as we had been years ago, drinks went by quick and before you know it, it was time for round 2. He had a Jameson on the rocks and I went with a smoky mezcal on the rocks. He was hungry and ordered a chopped cheese, reminiscent of NYC but no idea if it was good, but he polished it off quick. Jukebox was playing and we both weren't exactly excited by the music, but sometimes good conversation and staring into the eyes of your former special someone drowned it all out. Needless to say, I will remember this place for a long time to come. We headed out into the warm Phoenix night, clear, dark and while not drunk from the drinks, I was intensely buzzing from what suprises would unfold, it always ends in trouble, especially with this all too dangerous hunky beefcake. Perfect date spot with someone that can appreciate dives. I'll remember you Gracie's, stay cool and fun.
