We stopped in for happy hour on a Friday afternoon. This place has a great vibe, nice bar area with lots of different liquors. The staff were attentive and friendly. My wife ordered a Pimm's Cup and I got a beer. The Pimm's Cup was delicious and well made, and of course the beer was cold. We decided to try the Banh Mi Tacos. The order came with three tacos that were absolutely delicious! The downside was the portion size was small and I could eat a whole plate full. They are definitely worth getting, especially during happy hour.

The first time I came here was for drinks on a first date.. ( drinks were phenomenal BTW) The date went very well and 3 years later he took me there to celebrate our anniversary. I finally got to try their food! It was amazing! Everything is shareable and we choose the Loaded Potatoes, Mole chicken skewers, and the Short Rib Barbacoa. The flavors on all melded so well together. The server was so nice and very knowledgeable. The drinks were on point and we also got their chocolate truffles that just melted in your mouth.

I wish the Brickyard was closer to me. I would be there more often. Seriously, It's a fantastic bar. For those nearby to Downtown Chandler and haven't gone yet...go! The restaurant and craft cocktail bar is located in historic downtown area, and is known for its creative, shareable plates and imaginative drinks. The food and cocktail menu rotates seasonally with fun themes. Current cocktail theme is "Ambrosia of the Gods" and I look forward to trying a cocktail offering. The pictures I posted are from visits that I've had over time.

This small downtown Chandler has a great atmosphere with lots of exposed brick. There is a long bar, regular tables and high tops. We arrived as most of the breakfast/brunch customers were leaving. Our server was nice and brought us water right away. The menu here is very Asian inspired. My son loves okonomiyaki, so he ordered the Japanese Breakfast and a Golden Fleece, a yuzu cocktail. He said his breakfast was excellent. I ordered the Chinese Chilaquiles. It was definitely different from Mexican Chilaquiles, but it was delicious. I enjoyed brunch a lot, and I would like to come back in the thinking to try the dinner tapas menu.

Great experience at Brickyard in Scottsdale. Dim, moody ambiance and excellent service--the hostess and servers were attentive and did a great job explaining the dishes. The mole chicken skewers were tender with great flavor, but spicier than expected. The menu doesn't note spice levels, and I'm sensitive to heat, so that was a surprise. The potato gnocchi with chicken sausage was the standout--phenomenal flavor and texture. Food is served tapas-style. Overall, strong dishes, great service, and a vibe I'd definitely return for.

8.15.25 - arrived here some time after 10pm on a Friday evening and luckily they had a table available for 6 of us. Service was quick and friendly. The food came out pretty quick too. We ordered a bunch of different items off the menu to share family style with the whole group. Order: Achilles cocktail $12 Old Fashioned w/ tequila x12 $?? Ahi Tuna Tartare $24 Pork Belly Skewers $15 Loaded Potatoes $14 Dumplings $18 Crab & Avocado Toast $25 12oz Prime Ribeye $58 Thai Salad x2 $15 each Green Curry Tiger Shrimp $24 Short Rib Barbacoa $46 The Achilles cocktail was refreshing. Pretty sure the guys liked their drinks. They got like 3 rounds of it. Out of all the food, I would say my favorites were the dumplings, crab & avocado toast, prime ribeye, thai salad and green curry tiger shrimp. Was too full to try the short rib barbacoa but looked like everyone liked it. I don't eat pork but they all liked the pork belly skewers too. Loaded potatoes weren't bad. The only thing we didn't really like was the ahi tuna tartare. Bit disappointed they got rid of the french dip but the new items and drinks were pretty good!

Cute place, very unique tapas type place, the drinks are named after Greek mythology. Food menu is limited with unique eclectic flavors. Loaded potatoes were a little salty & real heavy. Steak skewers were delicious thanks to the recommendation of the female bartender, didn't get her name, she is terrific. The mini bricks were good, the fries were excellent. Seating is limited, arrived at 4pm with plenty of open seats, host said we needed to sit at the bar, but our first choice, most of the same tables were open when we left. Very cool ambiance.

NYE courses dinner special! I have been to brickyard several times and am consistent impressed with service and quality standard of their food! The service is high class, the cocktails are consistently supreme and the food is intricate and well balanced. This is a tapas style menu best enjoyed to share multiple plates amongst your party! And the ambiance here is romantic and cozy, perfect for a date night!

Beef tartare

Came here tonight and had a great time! The service was very good and attentive. The food portions for tapas were great and I probably did not need to order two tapas for myself but it was awesome trying different stuff! I got the fried chicken and beef tartare. I loved the dim Light ambiance. The chicken was more on the salty side but overall a cool vibe!!

Pork cheek lo mein 5/5

Been in multiple times, but let me say that you need to try the pork cheek lo mein. Cheek meat (cow or pig) is absolutely the best cut of meat. This dish is phenomenal, and I couldn't find any reviews of it, so here you go. You are welcome.

We were in Downtown Chandler for Rocktoberfest and wanted to eat before going into the event. We were actually looking for grilled oysters but couldn't seem to find any so we opted to head into the quaint Brickyard and I'm glad that we did. It's a small place but nice and clean with a super friendly staff. The menu is more of a Tapas style menu but all of the food here in super good. Our meat was wrapped in a banana leaf for 24 hours prior to eating it was super moist with tons of pork flavor my mouth is still watering while I'm writing this review. The meal was perfect for two people and we just loved our waiter just really polite and friendly a quality that alot of servers now a days lack. I highly recommend The Brickyard if you're in Downtown Chandler or live near by we'll definitely be back

This is a really good spot to go to when you are out with friends and coworkers. It has a social and rustic downtown bar ambiance. There is limited seating outside on the patio with heaters. Hubs and I did not have a reservation but we were seated within 20 minutes on a Friday night. Our waiter was great and very knowledgeable when it came to the drinks menu. Be mindful that you may have to wait a bit for your food to arrive when it's on a busy night. The food was great overall. We ordered several appetizers but we did have some misses. Loaded Potatoes - this was one of my favorites. I'm usually not a big potato fan but the flavors just worked. This does leave you feeling kind of heavy so definitely order this to share. Pork belly skewers - great flavors, slightly too salty for us but this was also a favorite of mine. Ahi Tuna Tartare - good and simple. Very light flavors. My husband liked this one. Wagyu Tataki - this was a miss for both my husband and I just because we thought the meat was going to be warm/cooked. Overall the style concept is cool but the consistency and flavors didn't work for me. Parking can be a bit of a nightmare so definitely carpool with your party if you can. I had a great experience and will return to try their other dishes. I would recommend trying this place if you're in the area!

Pork Belly Skewers

Loved this bar downtown Chandler. The drinks were amazing and I love that they change the theme of drinks every so often, right up my alley! Only thing is the drink prices are $18+ but add a theme to something and you're able to I guess. I do think it's pretty steep price for the cocktails but after 2 I felt pretty good so at least they were strong enough. Pork belly skewers and pork tacos were great, loaded potatoes were good but heavy and rich if that's what you're going for. Nice dark aesthetic inside, great atmosphere, and service.

Ask the Community - The Brickyard Downtown

When will duck breast be back on the menu?

Why don’t you ask the restaurant….

Open for NYE celebration? Music? Special?

Hey Rich, we are indeed open. We are offering a multi-course pre-fixe dinner, for which we do have 2-3 reservations left available. Because we are such a small space, we will not have live music for the evening. We will also open up the bar to…

Are you open Christmas Eve (Friday)?

Hey! Yes, we will be! We may close a bit earlier than we usually do (probably 10p) but would be honored to have you visit!

Does the Brickyard take reservations?

We only take reservations for large parties over 10, and allow only one large party per evening! You can join our waitlist anytime (even if you are not yet at the restaurant) through the Open Table app. Thank you for thinking of us!

Do they allow dogs in the patio?

Yes indeed, we do! Would be honored to have your furry friends join us!

Would it be inappropriate to bring a baby here? I have a newborn and I'm not ready to leave her behind yet.

Hi Analysa, it would be totally fine to bring your baby! Many guests have kept their baby in their lap, or a neighboring chair with the carrier in it! Honored you’re considering to dine with us! - Chelsea, Manager

I'm thinking of having an anniversary dinner with my girlfriend. Do you have any specials on given nights that are not on the menu? And what is the dress code like and do you take reservations?

Hi Ken! Honored that you are considering us for your special evening. We rotate our menu often (typically 4 times a year). We don't run off-menu specials, but our menu is refreshed frequently, so I can promise you'll be experiencing something…

Do I need reservation to dine here?

No, but you probably should make reservations. They get busy quickly

Do they take reservations?

Since we are a small and intimate restaurant, we only take reservations for groups 10 and larger! If you ever have a question about your group, please call us (and leave a message if we're out of the restaurant) at 480-963-1373. Always happy to…

Do they have drink specials during happy hour?

Yes! Try the margarita happy hour drink. It has a special name but ask and your server will point it out. It's amazing!

I loved this little nook as it was quieter. What We Ordered: - Red Wine: My coworker ordered this, and remarked how much she enjoyed. Takes an edge off the work week, and a great pairing of catching up while I was onsite at the Phoenix office. - Curious Cocktail: The temperature of the day we dined was 111° and I needed something refreshing. They didn't have a Spritz on the menu, so I went with this. I did enjoy the flavor, but could only have one of these as pretty sweet. - Heirloom Tomato Toast: This was the perfect start to the meal, and the vibrancy of the heirloom tomatoes was refreshing. I really enjoyed the miso aioli as it really complimented the tomatoes. - Side of Crispy Potatoes: Sometimes you just need some carbs, and these hit the spot for a starter before entrees though it is listed as a side. - Dry Rub Chicken Wings: These were decent for wings, but I think I would refrain from ordering again as the sauce choices just weren't great. - Mercato Sourdough Pizza: My coworker throughly enjoyed this pizza, and it intrigued me to return to order one as I couldn't have this one (pesto). - Orange Olive Oil Cake: This was perfection! The salted honey whip + berry coulis helped balance out the denseness and tartness of the orange olive oil cake. Genuinely a contender for my favorite dessert this summer, and I've had a few when spending 15+ days traveling for work. I'd definitely would return here, and one of my new favorite spots in Downtown Chandler!

I could probably put that on just about anything. The vibes are wonderful too. It's cozy, welcoming, and the kind of coffee shop where you want to linger with a friend for a while. My only critique is the layout of the front room. There always seems to be a line, but there's not really a good place for it to go besides in front of the entrance and the water station. It turns into a lot of "excuse me" and people weaving around each other. It's definitely a good problem to have because they're clearly popular, but I hope as they continue to flourish, they're able to expand into a larger space or rethink the flow a bit. Either way, I'll absolutely be back. Just save me another coconut brown sugar latte.
