We ordered the pepperoni pizza on cauliflower crust, drinks, and the parmesan truffle fries... everything was delicious. One thing I really loved was the attached bakery. After dinner I stopped in to grab my mom an oat bar since it's nice having a gluten-free treat available. I always order them wherever we go. *The G&G double burger--my fiancé was in heaven and thoroughly enjoyed the fries too. * Pasta Pomodoro with waygu meatballs--9/10 my SIL loved it. *Harvest bowl with salmon--10/10 very refreshing and tasty. Salmon was cooked to perfection. We had 3 cocktails each and tried most of their cocktail menu--we loved all our cocktails...some more than others. After my 3 star review for lunch a few weeks ago, I made dinner reservations which I highly recommend since this place fills up fast! We lucked out & parked right in front. Place was already busy & buzzy with happy people. House bubbly water was bubbly! Service was unobtrusive & friendly. We sat at a corner booth near one of the entrances (fyi there are some on both sides of the building). Ordered a couple coffee drinks at a reasonable $7 each and they were perfectly prepared. Yes! For a starter we did truffle fries which were fresh crisp & not cooked in seed oil. That made me feel good about ordering something fried, lol. For our main we went with the Hawaiian pizza. Savory meats, fresh jalapeño with tidbits of pineapple on sourdough crust. My only wish was for a little more pineapple. Only downside was that the door we sat by kept getting left open by customers and it took a long while before a staff member closed it. All in all, it was a good time & good value. My friend and I were looking for a good brunch spot around the area and ended up at George & Gather. We couldn't decide what to order since they had so many delicious sounding options... I had decided to try this fairly new restaurant on a Sunday night and they were pretty full. I saw they they boasted about a 130-year-old sourdough starter they use in their pizza so I decided to get a pepperoni pizza and their 'lucas' cocktail. The pizza was quite good. It was my first time trying a pizza made with a sourdough starter so I was expecting the crust to have a more sour taste like a loaf of sourdough bread. While that was not the case, it still had a good flavor and an excellently chewy texture. They were also quite generous with the pepperoni which is always a plus! The Lucas cocktail was a very well-balanced sweet and tart drink with a bright neon-green hue. Overall it was a nice dinner and I expect they will be here for many years to come. read more

I really liked the overall look and feel of the place -- it's well put together and a great setting to hang out. Tried a few cocktails and pizzettas -- the drinks were excellent, and the pizzettas were surprisingly very good, flavorful and well executed. My only real complaint -- and it's a notable one -- is the way happy hour is restricted to certain seating areas. If you sit at a shared table, you can take advantage of happy hour pricing, but if you choose the patio, you miss out. That might make sense if there's a lineup out the door, but that wasn't the case. From experience, this kind of setup feels like a misstep and something that should be reconsidered. What a great spot kinda off the Chandler main drag (Arizona). Plenty of parking in front on street and in back dedicated parking lot. Front door is actually around back. Enter through the large, thoughtfully designed patio that has a great waiting area for the restaurant at one end. Very comfortable. Was doing a brisk lunch business the day I was there. I would definitely recommend a reservation for either lunch or dinner. We were greeted and sat at our table outside right away. Within two or three minutes, someone came by with water and told us our server would be right out and whether they could take any drink orders for us. They have a nice little coffee menu so we ordered a cinnamon latte and a protein Cold brew. Both were outstanding When the server came out shortly thereafter we ordered Our appetizers, a goat cheese, and apricot mixture with fresh baked sourdough made at the restaurant. For entrees we went with the Italian Chop salad with added grilled salmon. One of best, authentic Italian chopped salads I've had and salmon was perfectly cooked. We also tried the prosciutto and arugula sandwich on that house made sourdough. Both plates cleaned completely. Was so comfortable, stayed for dessert, a moist orange olive oil cake with berries and an amazing, dense 3 layer carrot cake. Our service was outstanding. Previously we came for dinner - everyone loved their meals including the shorts ribs, pizza, dates, etc. This time we stopped for brunch and sat on the covered patio. This was an overall great experience in each category. There were 4 in our party. Fun fact, one in our party is a "Fuel Girl" who is a fire performer who performs all over the world (we saw her live in London, amazing), another is an ex-MMA fighter. Nicest people in the world! Local guy who knows the area well, attentive without hovering, and always seemed to show up at exactly the right moment. The kind of service that feels like you're being taken care of by a friend who actually enjoys their job. Could not have asked for more. *Food: was really impressive all around. The double patty burger was thick, juicy, and loaded with rich, creamy cheese on a buttered, grilled bun. It had a delicious pickled element that gave every bite a pop. Fries were crispy on the outside and soft and steamy inside. Their ranch dressing for dipping is outstanding. I just wish the portion of fries was bigger. The beet salad was super fresh with huge chunks of beets and crisp lettuce. Simple, clean, cold, and exactly what you want from a beet salad. Extremely satisfying. The Carne pizza was fantastic. We opted for the not spicy sauce, and the cheese was soft, melty, and perfectly creamy. The meats were delicious and well balanced on a thin crust with sweet sauce. "Pizza Bones" (outer edge crust) were soft, chewy, pillowy heaven. The truffle mac and cheese was rich, creamy, and had that smoky aroma that pulls you in wanting another bite. The short ribs were deep, bold, tender, full of flavor and memorable. *Ambiance: there are several entrances, we accidentally came in a back, or maybe side, door and worked our way to the NW front corner to the hostess stand, next to the bar and a great outdoor patio with heater and couches, very comfy looking. Inside is cozy and comfortable, with warm medium brown wood everywhere, but it doesn't feel dark or heavy. It has this soft, inviting lighting (tons of little lights everywhere) that wraps the space like a gentle warm blanket. Comfortable seating, relaxed vibe, and a space that feels thoughtfully put together without trying too hard. *Value: everything including food and drinks are clearly made from quality ingredients, all thoughtfully prepared, paired with great service and a comfortable atmosphere. The main dining area was not large enough to accommodate us all, so they moved us into the private room (could fit up to ~25-30). Private room was much quieter. Goat cheese came with VERY (almost too) toasted bread. Good flavor and very pretty. Dates were my fave, great combo of sweet and salty. I ordered the G&G burger with fries. The burger had two patties, topped with an overly-generous layer of this yellow pickled veggie. Burger was very juicy, and the (Noble) bun was great to sop up the juices. Fries were crispy, some VERY crispy, but nicely seasoned. Only gripe was felt a little overpriced at $23. Our waiter highly recommended the cheesecake, which he was absolutely right to do so. It's a hefty $15 slice, very splittable between 2 ppl. It comes with a thick layer of vanilla bean whipped cream, which went great with the creamy cheesecake. Tasty food, great atmosphere, attentive + friendly staff, but wish the portions were a little bigger. Really loved the ambiance during the day in the main dining area, which was splashed with sun. The entire staff team is excellent. We had quite a few folks stop by to check in on us (other than our waitress). Off the lunch menu I had the chicken pesto sandwich with some truffle fries. Sandwich was excellent but the fries were a tad bit salty for me. I also stopped by the little market place on my way out and got a coffee to go. It's a 100% seed oil free restaurant, full-scratch kitchen, open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Their market offers house made pastries, refined sugar-free specialty coffees and teas, plus local merchandise, grab and go items, and a selection of wines. G&G also has a co-working area and a community area available to rent for private events. The space is bright and airy. There are plenty of seating inside and on their covered patio outside. The decor is stylish and classy. I've been to G&G several times this year and have loved every single visit. I've tried a variety of brunch and dinner items. You can't go wrong with anything from G&G but my favorites include: Parmesan truffle fries $13 Salted maple (nitro cold brew) $7.5 Chef Fiona's whipped goat cheese spread $19 Honey apricot cheesecake $15 Mushroom sourdough pizza (seasonal) Price is a little high, but worth it for the quality of the food.
