This review is long overdue. I'm writing today from one of the comfortable rocking chairs on the front patio at Maple House. My husband and I enjoy kicking off our Sunday close to the opening hour at 7am. We eat a delicious breakfast option inside first. My husband orders a breakfast sandwich while I don't just like but LOVE the avacado toast. If available, we take our coffee and sit outside on the patio. The coffee is full bodied and delicious. My husband is a hot mocha guy. They have ice water at the front and in their spacious backyard seating area. It is a dog friendly destination. We enjoy seeing the wide variety of furry regulars. There are free treats for them. The service is consistently friendly and on top of their game. They really know how to move a line but you never feel rushed. They offer a points/ reward program for purchases which is always nice. When I asked my husband about cost he said it is so good he didn't even look! I checked our transaction history. For both of us including tip it was around $44- very decent in this day and age for such high quality. What a gem in Downtown Chandler! read more

I went to The Maple House for the third time today, and every visit reminds me why I keep coming back. My absolute favorite is the coconut brown sugar iced latte. My friend and I both ordered mediums with 75% sweetness, and it was the perfect drink for a hot, humid summer morning. Sweet enough to feel like a treat without being over the top. We also ordered matching bagel sandwiches. I do wish they offered a turkey bacon option, but the sandwiches were still hot, fresh, and delicious. The real star was the mayo aioli. I could probably put that on just about anything. The vibes are wonderful too. It's cozy, welcoming, and the kind of coffee shop where you want to linger with a friend for a while. My only critique is the layout of the front room. There always seems to be a line, but there's not really a good place for it to go besides in front of the entrance and the water station. It turns into a lot of "excuse me" and people weaving around each other. It's definitely a good problem to have because they're clearly popular, but I hope as they continue to flourish, they're able to expand into a larger space or rethink the flow a bit. Either way, I'll absolutely be back. Just save me another coconut brown sugar latte. read more

I loved the Maple walnut latte I purchased yesterday! I appreciated the offer to have my two shot latte in a small, medium or large paper cup along with the milk alternatives. ($6.00) I went with oat milk. (Additional 75 cents.) My latte syrups were made in house and by offering to have a large cup, I was rewarded with extra foam! The texture of my oat foam was perfect and tasted excellent. The service at the counter was fine and the air conditioning inside was at the maximum. A wood fireplace and rocking chairs are available in the front and corn hole games, gas fireplace and stage are in the back. Free Street parking is available nearby. Tip:If you are lucky to spot a parking space, take it! If you circle around the block the chances are that it'll be gone. read more

This downtown Gilbert spot is a great place to grab a coffee and a bite (it a cocktail) and hang out with a friend. We also saw a lot of people working on laptops. There is a big menu with different coffees, and an even bigger menu of cocktails. they also offer food. Our coffee was great, and so was my avocado toast. Definitely recommend! read more

Maple House has been on my list for a while, so I decided to check it out since I was in the area. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of going on a Saturday morning around 930a and it was BUSY! I definitely waited at least 20 minutes in line to place my order and probably another 10 for my entire order to come up. The people working were really nice though and definitely trying their best to move everyone thru as quickly as possible. There were a lot of seating options outside and inside. The Outside areas were out back and up front. They even had some lawn games to play. I ordered one of their specialty coffee drinks and it was good. My sister took me here and it is the cutest spot! Tons of seating indoor and outdoor (although was pretty packed for a Wednesday afternoon) and we enjoyed our drinks! Came to Maple House again on Jan 1st to kick off the new year with some journaling. It was PACKED but service was efficient and everyone was still kind as usual! It ended up pouring rain, but we found some cover outside. We used one of the big umbrellas they had (the patio has a ton of them), and posted up next to the fireplace area which ended up being SO nice. I had a hot maple walnut latte (so delicious and perfect vibe for winter), a chocolate croissant, and split one of their signature grilled cheeses with boyfriend (SO delicious and love the pepper jelly touch). This is a fun spot tucked away in DT Chandler. Came here for brunch on a week day and it was pretty crowded! Definitely a great spot to work remotely from, which a lot of people were doing. There is plenty of seating both inside and out. It's not a large location but very spacious. They have a bar inside with seating, multiple fireplaces, booths, couches, and more. Outlets scattered throughout too. Decent sized menu overall. Brunch food options, coffee, and a full bar with beers on tap! I tried the Dirty Spiced Chai and was very impressed with it. Such a cute local coffee shop with a great vibe! The open floor plan makes the space feel bright and welcoming, and it's the kind of place you want to hang out in for a bit. My friend and I both ordered the seasonal peppermint bark latte, and it was delicious the perfect balance of rich coffee flavor and peppermint without being overpowering or overly sweet. My only real critiques are that I wish they offered more food options beyond pastries, and that there was more indoor seating available for studying or longer stays. I had Honey Lavendar latte and my husband had a hot latte. He said he would pay that kind of money for coffee because it is a comfortable place to sit and just hang out or work. There were lots of people on their computers either working or studying. They serve wine and beer. I am not sure they have hard drinks. I know they have some food items but not sure what since I haven't tried anything, If your in DT Chandler you should give this place a try. A wonderful experience, and I think the people know it too - the line stretches out the door and nearly to the road! Maple House offers an idyllic experience. It's located in a quiet section of Downtown Chandler. There's relaxing outside seating as well as resort-like interior design. They offer a lot of unique flavors and pastries. I ordered the Cinnamon Crème Brûlée latte (iced) which did well to blend the cinnamon and sweet flavors without overpowering either one. Not underlying sweet if you're worried about that. Also shout out to their service. I had been there for a while getting some work done. I guess they made a duplicate order so they had offered me another drink for free...so I took it haha. The Brown Sugar Coconut latte (hot) was a pleasant surprise. It had a mellow sweet flavors without overpowering kind of similar to milk. It had a light coconut flavor that also wasn't overpowering. With trying to their drinks, I can reasonably state. They do a great job balancing their flavors. Certainly a great shop. I'll be back if I'm in the area. They are a little pricey though, i paid ~$8 for an iced drink...but it's certainly worth it. read more

Tucked off the back end of W Boston in downtown Chandler, it's right around the corner from Hidden House. Parking can be tough in downtown Chandler, but just a short walk from public parking garage if you can't find street parking. Bright and open, it's situation in the center of a little green garden making maximum use of both inside and outdoor space. There's probably as much outdoor seating as inside which includes 2 and 4 tips along the wall and a bar. There's probably outdoor seating is both in front and behind the indoor space and in afternoon, you'll find all the shade in back. Super comfy turf area with both umbrellas and open seating. Cornhole area, but no one was using the Tuesday afternoon I dropped in. High marks from us for being dog friendly!!! I've been here many times but never left a review (shame on me, I know!). This spot is such a gem in downtown Chandler--cozy, inviting, and always busy. In the past, I've stopped by for happy hour or a cocktail after dinner (they serve beer and wine), and during the fall it's absolutely gorgeous to sit outside. Today, I met some friends here at 9am, thinking it would be quiet... but wow, I was so wrong! The line was out the door, and finding a seat took a minute, but it all worked out in the end. There's both indoor and outdoor seating, street parking is decent, and the vibe really feels like hanging out at someone's house. The front patio has that "front porch" charm, while the back feels like a backyard gathering space with fire pits and bistro lights. The menu has a solid selection of drinks with a smaller but thoughtful food menu. I have a nut allergy, and since the pastries aren't made in-house, the cashier wasn't sure about ingredients, so I played it safe (though they looked delicious!). I ordered the breakfast sandwich instead, and it was really tasty. Overall, this is one of those places that works for everything--morning coffee, a quick bite, lunch, happy hour, late-night drinks, working, reading, or just catching up with friends and family. Such an adorable coffee shop!! They have some indoor seating and a ton of outdoor seating that is ideal for the cooler months. To accommodate for the warmer months, they have lots of shade over the outdoor seating and some fans to help try to keep it as cool as possible. I ordered the brown sugar coconut latte and it was sooooooo good. I would say it was my ideal cup of coffee! Service was not terrible, but wasn't notable. Be sure to stick around inside to get your coffee. They only bring your order to you if it's a pastry (at least that's what it seemed). It was pretty busy inside when my friend and I went, so we chose some chairs outside. They gave her a number for her pastry and brought it out, but we had to go up to the counter to find our drinks after waiting several minutes and wondering. That all would have been great info to know when ordering initially. Definitely will be returning! Side note: If you're familiar with downtown Chandler, this won't come as a surprise, but since I'm not a Chandler-regular, I was a little surprised at the lack of parking aside from parallel parking just in front of the actual coffee shop. Loved the ambiance of this spot while I was visiting the area. Plenty of seating inside and out. Was so good that I had to visit two times. First time I enjoyed the vanilla latte and the cinnamon latte. Perfectly sweetened and flavored. I also tried the grilled cheese which was adventurous but very well done and filling. There's a bunch of seating inside and out, all different which offers the fun eclectic vibe. The staff were awesome! Didn't rush us, offered tips and answered all our questions. We didn't feel like a burden, which was nice. Looks to be dog friendly so next time the pup is joining us! There's umbrellas for shade all around and corn hole set up so go have a nice break. I got the German Chocolate Cake Latte and it tastes exactly like the cake! My wife got the Little Lottie and it was delicious too. We will be back, next time to try a cocktail or two. Stopped by on a Sunday around 2 pm and it was pretty busy! We waited in line for a few minutes until it was our turn. The cashier was friendly and told us to order when ready. I ordered a small iced double Little Lottie Latte (Pistachio White Chocolate) and my sister had a small iced double Cinnamon Crème Brûlée. We stood to the side after we ordered and after a few minutes, both our drinks were ready. We were lucky to find a table outside and we sat down. It was my first time coming to this place. I met up with a friend and had brunch. I wanna start by saying that the cafe itself is absolutely beautiful on the inside and on the outside. It was extremely busy and there was hardly anywhere for us to sit and I would say that's the only downside. We were outside near the fire which I don't know why it was going. It was like 90° that day so it was pretty hot. I ended up getting the pepperoni flatbread which I thought was really good. However, I didn't really like the sauce on it. It just didn't really go with it, and I think my friend felt the same way with her pesto flatbread that came with honey, which was a bit odd and attracting some bees since we were sitting outside. My friend got an iced chai which she liked and I got the iced brown sugar coconut latte with half-and-half and I absolutely loved it. It was delicious. I would definitely come back but something to keep in mind is how busy it is plus the parking situation. I've visited Maple House a few times and I love it every time. It's the perfect hang out spot if you want to enjoy the weather with a group of friends or just be in your own solitude. My favorite is how spacious the outdoor patio is (front and back both have seating). Inside seating is limited, so come early if you want to be inside. Personally, this spot is my favorite to just hang out and be outside so I often only visit when the AZ temperature allows. Their cinnamon crème brûlée latte is my absolute favorite and they always have fun pastries. Today I tried the blood orange danish and it was just the right amount of sweet with a crispy outside. It paired perfectly with my coffee. What's unique about this place is they have a full bar too, so if you are in the mood for a cocktail or beer instead of coffee, you can satisfy the craving!
