Walked in and was immediately greeted. We sat at the bar and the bartender was very friendly and helped with my wine selection and gave me a couple of samples before I decided on the Loscano Malbec. My hubby had a beer and we shared an order of truffle garlic fries. These were AMAZING and the wine was so good that we bought 2 bottles to take home. This is a hidden gem, with friendly staff, great wine, great ambiance and a nice variety of food on the menu. We will be back soon to try out other items on the menu.

Found my neighborhood bar, great location, easy to find, small and quaint with good vibes. Live music on Saturday was very nice. Food was good , had green chile pork and truffle fries ; so yummy. Drink was Japanese mule, refreshing and perfect!

Goat cheese was delicious and the weather was perfect for sitting outside. Service was fast and excellent!

Nice place to meet for happy hour! I came here to meet a colleague friend for HH yesterday and we ended up staying close to their closing time. I arrived early and the staff here were really nice and initially I wanted to sit outside but staff said there was no shade at 4pm. So, I opted to wait at the bar for my friend. HH is from 3-5pm and they have plenty of sparkling, white, red or beers to choose from. My friend arrived around 4:30pm and she had a prosecco. I stuck to a Hefeweisen beer. We chatted for a bit and then ordered up some food for HH and we opted for the baked goat cheese and truffle fries. Both dishes were delicious! The only complaint is that we needed a few more slices of bread for the ample amount of baked goat cheese served. Staff were friendly and helpful and this feels like a nice, quaint neighborhood wine spot. The place is classy and music playing overhead worked for me as songs they played are also in my own play list. Bartender let us know that W-F there is also live music. I like this place and will come back, especially for live music and to sit outside.

The food and service at this local restaurant are top notch! I haven't ever ordered anything that I didn't think was elevated above average. The ambiance is modern, clean and when weather permitting they have a great patio. It's small but not too small and they even have a big room for larger parties that is perfect. We had 3 dishes, shrimp capeletti, burrata & the cold beets. Everything was delicious. The shrimp were atop a perfectly prepared pasta with tons of flavor from lemon & capers. Bravo My Wine Cellar! I'll be back.

I'm obsessed with their tapas plates, and they have such a big menu! The Citrus Smoked Olives is warm, smokey, and the oil was sooo good with bread! The Tempura Cauliflower has a hint of spice in the tangy sauce! It's so delicious, and I'm obsessed with it! Pair it with Francois bubbly rose for the perfect girls night! Please go out and support this women owned, locally owned, small business! This place is so cute and their food is delicious!!

Always check in before ordering. Never know what kind of discount you may get. This place has a very comfortable environment. Dim in some areas. Bar seating, main seating and outdoor seating available. You can make reservations and they have seating for large groups. Happy Hour is Tuesday -Friday 3-5. Food and drink options on the list. But...the food. So the chicken is done perfectly. Just way too salty. But the Mac and cheese/roast beef-ugh. Not for me. The cheese was really a white grainy thick cream and the meat had lots of fat in it. I know a lot of people like that. I am not one of them. Oh. And I asked about that wine special that is supposedly 50% off, the waiter said you can't believe everything you see on line. Also, the lavender waffles that drew me in, are no more. And they were "out of" two of the items on the menu that we tried to order. I really had high hopes for this to be a favorite spot.

I searched my Yelp bookmarks and remembered a few fellow Yelpers wrote great reviews about this location. I love that you can do a reservation through Yelp, though it was slower on a Sunday evening around 5:30pm so the reservation wasn't needed. She arrived before me, so I asked the hostess to direct me where she was at. The interior seems to be divided in sections, and we were seated in a dining room area with table clothes and more nicer Italian restaurant vibes versus martini/wine bar. What we ordered: - Bruschetta "Va Bene" ($9.95): great flavor, and impressed the price point is under $10! - Linguine Al Pesto ($19.95): my friend ordered, and remarked how delicious the sauce was. - Risotto Mare Monte ($28.95): the texture of the risotto was great, and I enjoyed the flavor. A very good risotto comparative to others in the valley I've tried. - Crème Brûlée ($8.95): not my favorite, but also not the worst. A pretty solid crème brûlée and next time, I'd try the tiramisu (dined with my pregnant friend who's avoiding caffeine). I had my heart set on a vodka martini, but they were out of blue cheese stuffed olives which was a bummer. It was one of the deciding factors why I chose this place. Other than that, it was a great dinner and I'd return in hopes of having a martini and exploring more of the menu.

Big portions, a huge menu (see pics), and genuinely good value across the board. Mmmm, that burger was good, juicy, thick, smokey, rich, and flavorful with warm, gooey cheese, fresh toppings and thick, warm, home-cut fries-o-plenty, excellent! If you're looking for a spot where the food punches way above expectations, this is it. *Atmosphere: depending on when you come, inside can get packed and feel a bit small when the crowd fills in. The vibe is extremely casual and laid back, the kind of place you could easily make your own and become a regular without even trying. The live music in the evening was great, but definitely loud, both the band and the crowd. If you're coming for quiet conversation on live music nights, this isn't the place. However, the crowd, noise level, and how packed it gets really depends on when you come in. Weekday lunch is significantly quieter, but evenings after work and weekends, especially when there's a band, get loud and busy fast. They have a large outdoor patio, which is a nice plus, but it was pretty smoky when we were there. Nice energy, just not the best for non-smokers. *Service: there were a lot of servers working, and ours was very sweet, friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind. Exactly what you hope for in a bar like this. I felt "taken care of" and you can't put a price on that. *Overall: casual, lively, loud, and far better food than you'd ever expect. If you want a laid-back local spot with great food, live music, and a neighborhood feel, this is a solid pick and one you could easily end up visiting regularly. I added a few burger and menu photos to help you get a feel. Highly recommend!

I recently visited GTC after a high school basketball game with some friends and while we had a good experience I wanted more. The atmosphere is great. Dive bar feel that is clean and has charm and a great neighborhood vibe. The band in the corner didn't drown out our conversation and played old country music that was fun and upbeat. Our waiter was great offering suggestions and checking in on us regularly. Where the disappointment came in was our food and drinks. We ordered sliders, quesadilla, and the Philly cheesesteak. All of them were "fine" with the sliders being more bread than slider and same for the Philly. The quesadilla was the best of the options and had lots of ingredients packed in. Our drinks were also less than ideal as they seemed to have zero alcohol. If you are gonna drink go with beer since what you see is what you get. Cocktails were short pours and watered down. I even called them out after the first one and nothing changed with the second so I stopped donating. At the End of the Day, Good Time Charlis is not a bad stop and I'm sure the regulars are die hard. So if you go, let me help in my experience and simply order a quesadilla, beer of choice, and listen to the band...the best part of the night.

A weary traveler arrives and sits down at his favorite bar--Bottleshop48, located at 3318 S McClintock Dr, Tempe, AZ 85282, in the Aldi shopping center. He orders a crisp glass of Bottleshop Water, known to the regulars simply as "water," and rests for a moment as a film begins to play on the main TV. Brad and Angelina appear. It is Mr. and Mrs. Smith, the acclaimed 2005 action/comedy. A small tear rolls down his face; finally, he will be able to enjoy Mr. and Mrs. Smith from start to finish. Finally, his life will have meaning beyond the crude dionysian pursuit of wine, women, and song. Today, he thinks: "my suffering will end: I am free from the banality of the world outside, with a full 2 hours of action/comedy to enjoy, cold drink in hand, hale companions to my left and to my right." But this man was mistaken. Instead a challenger appears--a man from the wrong side of the tracks, a man bent on ruining our hero's uninterrupted viewing of Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Shockingly this newcomer requests the TV remote. He brazenly downloads the Sling Freestream app on the TV. He scrolls through the Sling Freestream app's numerous free ad-supported options and chooses--impossibly--Monty Python and the Holy Grail, the 1975 comedic send-up of the grim circumstances of the Middle Ages as told through the story of King Arthur and framed by a modern-day murder investigation. Our hero protests meekly, in earnest: "but I was watching Mr. and Mrs. Smith." "Oh sorry," the upstart pretender responds, surprised that someone would be so interested in seeing the end of Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Does our hero challenge this cruel usurper to fisticuffs for the TV remote? No. Does he chuck a beer at this sadistic lover of classic British humor? No. Does he strip naked and dance atop the bar in a lewd manner to assert his dominance over the TV? He does not. A man of peace--a true lover not a fighter and a known Ryan Gosling look-alike--our hero grits his teeth and accepts the excruciating truth that he will see no more of Brad and Angelina on this night. He simply pays his tab and exits into the freezing late April air, never to know true happiness. Never to experience complete extasy. Never to see the end of Mr. and Mrs. Smith.
