Service at Saint urban is exceptional! The staff is so friendly and so kind. Very professional. They have a great happy hour with reasonable prices to try different appetizers and a great wine list. Def worth checking out and supporting your local business!
Saint urban was a great place for cocktails and sharable plates. Solid drink menu plus a large mix of wines. I was here with a friend who is vegan and I was worried about enough menu options. We had the sourdough bread which is baked fresh in house every day. It was delicious. We also had the Shishito peppers. They were so so but the coconut caramel sauce was incredible. we dipped the bread in the Shishito pepper sauce and it was like this delicious bread pudding. We ordered the beets with the goat cheese on the side. They were incredible on their own, but I put the goat cheese on my bites and it was delicious. The tempura green beans were the highlight. They were so good. The service was great and all of the servers were incredible. We sat inside by the bar, but they have a really cute patio outside. All in all it was a great experience and I would visit again.
First visit, and what a fun little spot. Loved the ambiance and the chance to sit outside for happy hour. Grabbed a seat at the bar, enjoyed some great banter with Isabella, and sipped on a Spanish gin and tonic. As for the food... let's just say my appetizer choices were a bit of a plot twist: stone-cold salmon sashimi and shoestring fries. Unexpected? Absolutely. Regret it? Not even a little. I'll definitely be back.
This is a solid 4 1/2 stars. This is our second time in several months and this time it was a party of six. We sat outside, which is nice because it has a full cover and high plants so you can't see the cars going by to the east, however you still get the outdoor feel. Our server was very efficient, knowledgeable, and helpful. We ordered the East Meets West wings, the shrimp cocktail, the tempura green beans, the tuna tartare on rice, the shishito peppers and the truffle shoestring potatoes. All were delicious. The East West wings are like crack. They are so good. They are crispy and sweet with a little bit of heat. The shrimp cocktail is fine. They are enormous shrimp, although still at over two dollars per shrimp it doesn't feel like a great deal to me. The Shishito peppers are an interesting way to serve them with a sweet caramel and soy sauce, and toasted coconut shreds. We haven't tried the tiny martinis which are basically a half size of a regular martini at half the price of the happy hour martini. The cocktails variations are quite innovative. The first time we came, we ordered the deconstructed deviled eggs, which were completely different than I expected (lots of onion) yet still very tasty. We also ordered the pork belly steak which was tender and crispy all at the same time. We also tried the flourless chocolate cake, which they comped for us for dessert, and it was one of the best I have ever tasted - so smooth, rich and chocolatey. It was perfectly balanced. We will definitely return.
We tried Saint Urban for a happy hour on a Friday. They had lots of seating available and we sat outside on the patio. They do have some powerful fans out there for when it's hot. The restaurant is gorgeous. Beautifully decorated. Service is very friendly and prompt. We enjoyed the bruschetta and the charbroiled oysters, although they didn't really seem charbroiled just baked. Still delicious though. They have some good drink specials. The only thing I was disappointed with is their wine selection. No French or Italian red wines to choose from.
This was our first visit to Saint Urban. It was a Saturday night and the restaurant was busy. As we walked in, there is a large square bar. Perfect set up if you want to pop in for happy hour or drinks. Typically we enjoy sitting at the bar for dinner but decided to make reservations for a table. When we arrived for our reservation, we were seated immediately by the hostess. Our server April was very pleasant and attentive. She provided great suggestions for the menu as it is not exactly like a tapas restaurant but small enough to share a few different items. We ordered our drinks, dirty martinis. I like them very cold, ice on the pond as the saying goes. April made sure they were delivered as ordered. We started with the golden beets - herb goat cheese, spiced almonds, honey . Very tasty, not too sweet. Tempura green beans - peppadew peppers, almond-chili ponzu. Personally I would have liked them more crispy but nonetheless they tasted good. Especially with the sauce. We also ordered the Koreatown beef taco - sea kimchi, chili-garlic aioli, scallion, sesame. Hard shell and I believe it was ground meat. Not my preference but the flavor was good. Shrimp Cocktail. Typical shrimp cocktail with black tiger prawns. Lastly, the Nueske's bacon steak - charred,sweet bourbon glaze, chives. This is actually thick cut bacon peaces. Very good, but rich. Not fatty. I wish we would have ordered a salad to go with this to cut out some of the richness. Next time. I feel the prices are reasonable for the portions and we had a very nice experience.
Tucked away in a little shopping center in Scottsdale is this delicious shareable plate place called Saint Urban that I adored! My friend and I met to share a board Thursday night and had the most delicious plates. The fried green beans were amazing and the sauce it came with was stellar! The build your own board was amazing! But the tacos! You MUST order them when you go! They're this Asian inspired taco that was divine. Our server was super sweet. They weren't very busy so we got our plates and drinks pretty fast. Make sure you go here if you're looking for a cute place to go with friends!
Our server, Natalie, was attentive and friendly. The salt block made the sashimi a little too salty. The oysters were sweet west coast oysters. I do wish they served a proper mignonette sauce with it though (they only served vinegar and hot sauce). The truffle fries were crispy and not too overpowering with the truffle flavor. The tempura green beans were just okay, but I didn't like the sauce on the side. My favorite thing was the sweet sesame rice, but I wish it came with more avocado. The drinks I had were all delicious (the Walking After Midnight, the Goodbye Earl, and the Half Naked & Almost Famous), so I would definitely come back for the cocktails. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful and makes for a great place to enjoy drinks with friends for a few hours without feeling rushed.
My partner and I recently dined at Saint Urban, and overall, we had a lovely experience, especially thanks to our amazing server, Steven. He was kind, patient, and had great recommendations that really helped us navigate the menu. We started with the bruschetta board (3 for $16), and it was the perfect start to the meal. We chose the avocado and lime, prosciutto and herbed goat cheese, and whipped ricotta with tomatoes, all beautifully presented and bursting with fresh flavor. We also ordered the deviled eggs, which were delicious and surprisingly generous in portion; the filling was piled high and perfect for sharing. For entrées, we tried the tri-tip, which was just okay and unfortunately served a bit cold, and the Nueske's bacon steak, which had a fantastic tangy glaze and great char but was a little too tough to enjoy fully. Steven was incredibly understanding and offered us a dessert on the house, which completely turned the experience around, the sweet ricotta & berry trifle with angel food cake, ricotta cream frosting, and strawberry jam was phenomenal! It's a huge portion, easily enough for two or three people. Another downside for me was the lighting for the interior of the restaurant it was a bit too dim for my preference. Overall, we'd definitely come back to try more of the appetizers, and the cocktails were strong and well made.
We've been missing out on this place! We drive past it all the time and live up the street but haven't done until tonight because we had a gift card. After tonight though, we will definitely be back! For starters the hostess was really nice. Even recommended a pie from a sweet shop in the plaza while she was finding our seat (butterscotch pecan, 10/10, thanks for the recommendation)! Next, our server Steve was SO LOVELY. Very attentive, very kind, very upbeat and was super sweet and apologetic when our wings took a little longer than I think was expected by their standards (although, honestly they didn't seem to take that long to us). Seriously can not shout out Steve and his service enough! We started with the sourdough bread, AZ butter and house Jam. The bread was so soft and the jam was really good (I think maybe cherry). We also did the West Coast Wings. And huge compliments to the chef on those. They were the perfect crispiness and the sauce was phenomenal. Probably the best wings we've had out here by far and we would come back just for those. Then we got girl dinner which consisted of a choice of salad and truffle shoestring potatoes. The fries were absolute perfection. The goodness salad was just that...goodness! The ads they have don't do that meal justice, there was a nice amount of salad and shoestring potatoes but in the ads it looks a little skimpy. We also got the 45 day dry aged New York strip. Also perfection, although, I'd recommend maybe a side of fries to go with it. All of the food tasted and looked so fresh. For drinks we got the pink flamingo, non alcoholic, perfect fruity and light little drink. And the Huss Papago beer which was an orange blossom wheat ale, went nicely with everything. The patio was perfect for a fall Arizona night. It wasn't too loud, wasn't too quiet and was perfectly lit. The inside looks really nice and cozy too. I can't believe it's taken us this long to make it over to this restaurant but we can't wait to go back!
Nice romantic place to go for a drink and shared plates! We went during happy hours and got tasty cocktails to enjoy with the restaurant week 5 courses to share. The food came out fast and tasty. The dessert is my favorite! Sweet ricotta is not too sweet and goes very well with berries trifle. It is huge but we enjoy every bite of it. We just realized that since they had a few dish with Kimchi, they used Korean style aluminum water cups and plastic water pitcher for the table. This is cool.
What a little secret gem! It's so cute tucked away and off the beaten path. I can't believe I havnt gone before. This place is tucked in a corner if you're not paying attention you could miss it. It has the most adorable shaded and misted patio and a water fountain in the front. The bar and inside is beautifully decorated. Feels upscale but a come as you are vibe. The service was good the waitress was kind enough to let me order off happy hour even though I was a little late. The food and drinks were so good. But what surprised me was the prices. It's a great place to meet some friends get tapas and drinks and have a good time. I highly recommend!
This was the second restaurant I went to during restaurant week. Tucked away in the corner of The Village of Hayden it's beautifully decorated with modern interior decor. Jason my server was friendly and delightful. He provided fresh tableware after every plate which was cool. The tapas ordered from the restaurant week menu was shared with my sister. We ordered the Goodness Chopped Salad, KoreaTown Beef Tacos, Sweet Sesame Rice with salmon, Santa Maria Tri Tip, and the flourless chocolate torte. Everything was amazing. My favorites were the taco and flourless chocolate torte. I also tried the mini dirty martini that was $6 on happy hour. It was the perfect size since it was my first time trying a dirty martini. It wasn't for me so I gave it to my sister. Definitely enjoyed my experience and will be back.
I like the elegant ambience of this beautiful restaurant but unfortunately the food was a miss for me. The salmon salt block sashimi presentation was cool but the slices were too thin and salty. The salmon sweet sesame rice bowl was too sweet for me and the portion size was small. The tacos topped which kimchee was so so. I did like the tempura green beans but didn't care for the aioli. I also ordered a dirty martini mini tiny and it was mini! Service was ok and could've been more friendly. read more
Finally got to try their happy hour on Thursday as I had an appointment very close by at 3pm so it was perfect since happy hour runs from 3-6pm Monday-Fridays here. I really liked how stylish and beautiful the restaurant was. It would be a great spot for a date night. We ordered several dishes to share. I was really looking forward to the Nordic salmon salt block sashimi but the slices were too thin to hold up to the salt and felt like the block was the main attraction. Nordic salmon sweet sesame rice bowl was highly recommended by the server. It was good but overly sweet and the serving size was pretty small. We ordered Korean beef tacos topped with raw kimchi. Wasn't impressed with the beef which was just meh and lacking a rich and good flavor. At $5 each the tacos fell short in execution as the flavors and combination didn't work. The best dish was the tempura green beans which were light and crispy. I didn't care for the aioli it came with though as it was super sweet. I had to mix in a garlic aioli to make it ok. The ambience felt elevated but unfortunately the food didn't match. I didn't expect to find flaws with every dish we tried which was disappointing. Our server was acceptable but was not engaging. I'm glad I finally experienced this restaurant but don't see myself returning. read more

Another solid meal here! This time for lunch on a Sunday. We cozied on up to the bar and watched the Avalanche game. Bartender was very friendly and quick to service us. The wings were just as good as we remembered. We split the chicken Cesar salad and tri tip sandwich - yum!! Highly recommend getting the beets as a side for the sandwich. Great spot! read more
Returned for lunch today and I was so impressed by the updates to the menu. The grilled chicken salad was truly perfect - from the shaved chicken to the dressing, it was amazing. The ambiance is fantastic though the service was a bit slow today. It encouraged us to slow down and enjoy the day which was so perfect. We loved it and we will be back! read more

Went to Saint Urban (8260 N Hayden) for happy hour and it's one of those places that looks like you're just popping in for a quick drink... then somehow your table turns into a small-plate convention. Quick heads-up on the mini-tinis (we did the Lemon Drop and the Cosmo): fun presentation, but they definitely tasted half strength--which is either a pro or a con depending on whether you're driving home or trying to feel something. Still enjoyable, just more "sip and chat" than "cocktail that announces itself." We tried a handful of dishes and I'll give them credit: unique ideas, great for sharing, and everything came out fast. -Koreatown beef taco had a cool flavor combo, but didn't punch as hard as the description sounds. -Truffle shoestring potatoes were crispy and snackable, but more "solid" than "wow." -Tempura green beans were light and easy to keep picking at. -Deconstructed deviled eggs were fun and creamy--good concept, middle-of-the-road flavor. -Sweet sesame rice with ahi tuna was probably the best bite at the table, but still more "pleasant" than "can't stop thinking about it." The real win here was the service fast, friendly, and on it (the kind of staff that makes you want to stay for another round, even if you weren't planning to). Overall, Saint Urban is a good vibe for happy hour, catching up with friends, or a low-pressure date...creative menu, quick service, and a fun spot to hang, even if the flavors didn't fully blow the doors off. read more
Closer to a 3.5/5 for me but rounding up due to the ambiance and service. Stopped in on a Friday evening with a friend for dinner and was glad I made a reservation in advance. The space is cute and was bustling and busy. The cocktails we ordered were solid and standard and for food we ordered the truffle fries, tuna sweet sesame rice, and koreatown beef tacos. The food came out incredibly quick! The fries and tuna sesame rice were tasty although I could've used a little bit more tuna for $18. The koreatown beef tacos was a hard skip --it was essentially a hard corn shell that seemed store bought with basic ground beef and topped with kimchi. The whole menu looked excellent so I feel like we just didn't order the best items. I would come back again to try other menu offerings! read more
My friend and I used to come to this place when it was Rockefeller, now under new ownership, still just as good. The place looks the same. The atmosphere, small with a very nice vibe with a great bar, along with a nice patio. The menu is basically the same as before. Great "Happenings" deals on certain days of the week. My friend and I met friends for Cocktails and Shareable snacks on a Saturday evening. I had made reservations requesting for a booth against the wall (tends to get loud when filled with customers) It was perfect, service from Angela was great. She was extremely patient, allowing us to catch up with our friends. I also met my friend for lunch recently, we sat outside, service from Jesse was great and LOL I just came back with my friend to indulge on the "Wednesday Happening"... 1/2 off the Salt Water Saints Raw Bar. It did not disappoint. Between the 3 times we've been there, we've had the Shrimp Cocktail, Raw Oysters, Hamachi Salt Block, Hamachi & Grapefruit Crudo, Bruschetta Board, Plancha Artichokes, Marinated Olives, Blistered Shishito Peppers, Steak Tartare, and the Salmon Sweet Sesame Rice. All the food was excellent, not one bad choice. The Cocktails were all good, though I feel the cocktails were better made at the evening time versus the lunch time. Forget about the Happy Hour minis, they're 1/2 off the price of a regular size but the are also half the size. Atmosphere: small, upscale restaurant with great vibe. Service: excellent. Saint Urban is so underrated. I'd like to highlight the relaxing atmosphere and quality menu items. We arrived for happy hour on a Saturday. It was quiet and there were a couple tables beside us (a beautiful quiet restaurant is already a win to me). The manager kindly walked us to our table and went over the menu with us. He grabbed our drink orders and let us know that our server would be by shortly. We weren't too hungry and didn't want to fill up before our dinner plans in the evening. We ordered the west coast wings, oysters on happy hour, truffle fries, and the pork Milanese. Everything came out so fast and everything was flavorful! Fresh flavors and we could tell everything was cooked to order. I have 0 complaints about the food. Our server was a bit busy and provided standard service. Water refills and check drop off. She seemed busy with another table so we ate quickly and left. We enjoyed everything and did not mind. *I had a glass of white wine that was great but I am blanking on the name of it now but wish I knew because I would have ordered a whole bottle. Will be back to try more food and drink. read more
Saint Urban knocked it out of the park! My visit was during Arizona Restaurant Week, and honestly, the entire experience was flawless, from the drinks to the service, to the unique dining style. I started with a Lemon Drop from their happy hour cocktail menu, which was perfectly tart and refreshing. Our server, Jason, deserves major praise. He had such a beautiful smile and warm personality that made the whole evening enjoyable and welcoming. Truly exceptional service! I did the 5-course Restaurant Week menu, and what I loved most was that everything was served tapas style. This meant each dish arrived fresh, and for every course, we received new plateware and utensils, which felt incredibly thoughtful and elevated the whole experience. The food was delicious: we had the Goddess Chopped Salad, the flavorful Koreatown Beef Tacos, the sweet and sticky Sweet Sesame Rice, and the perfectly cooked Santa Maria Tri Tip. We finished with the rich Flourless Chocolate Torte. Every single bite was enjoyable. The concept, the quality of the food, and the outstanding hospitality (thanks, Jason!) made this an awesome experience. Highly recommend Saint Urban for a special night out! read more
Came back to Saint Urban with a friend and had a fantastic dinner. Our cocktails were delicious and strong - - there's nothing worse than ordering a cocktail and wondering if they forgot the alcohol - - that is not going to be the case here! I ordered the tempura green beans and just like last time they were amazing. The dipping sauce that comes with it is so delicious that I could drink it. I also ordered a pork belly grilled cheese which was loaded with pork belly. The cheese was melty and creamy and the bread crispy just the way it should be. I really think Saint Urban will be on a regular rotation for us. I love that the plates are a little smaller and the cocktails are a little bigger! read more
Saint urban wine bar boasts a warm inviting ambience with an elegant edge - perfect for a date night or catching up with friends over a good glass of wine. The service stood out as a highlight, very attentive and friendly. The food, however, was hit or miss. The vegetable dishes were a standout - fresh, creative, and full of flavor. Unfortunately, some of the more indulge items didn't land the oysters, lack freshness, and were very, very small and underwhelming, while the pork belly grilled cheese, though promising in concept felt heavy and unbalanced. It was very salty. Despite the uneven menu that atmosphere and service makes Saint Urban worth a visit - especially for wine lovers, or those seeking a beautiful space to unwind. stick to the small plates and veggie forward options and you're likely to have a lovely experience. read more

Had to try this spot out again and I'm happy I did! Service was awesome and the vibe was great, not too fancy, not too casual. The salt block sashimi was SO yummy, and the presentation was just cool honestly lol. Would for sure order this again. The kimchi on the tacos was delicious (I just wish there was more if it!) I would skip the shrimp orzo - it's the most expensive menu item and not worth it (way too much butter and really salty). The shrimp was super fresh though, so maybe it would be a good idea to add it to a salad! Overall would recommend stopping by and checking it out! They have a great happy hour during the week and variety of happenings. read more

love the ambiance. Staff + service is great. Food is delicious most of the time. The girl dinner- fries + salad is a great deal. The goodness green salad to die for. This time we also tried the HAMACHI & GRAPEFRUIT CRUDO- not what I was expecting, wouldn't get again but interesting. read more

Went to Saint Urban for the first time during happy hour and it was such a great experience. The atmosphere is stylish but laid-back--perfect for unwinding after a long day. We ordered the deviled eggs, salt block sashimi, and pork belly grilled cheese. All three were amazing. The deviled eggs had a fun twist, the sashimi was super fresh with just the right amount of saltiness, and the pork belly grilled cheese was rich, crispy, and totally satisfying. The happy hour menu had solid options and the mini martinis are such a great choice. The staff were really friendly and helped with drink recommendations, which made the whole experience even better. Definitely planning to come back soon. Saint Urban is a new favorite! read more
Best happy hour deals I've ever seen. Food was absolutely fantastic. We sat at the bar and the service was incredible. If we lived here I imagine this would be our go to place on a weekly basis. Don't sleep on the wings, they are so good. read more

Amazing birthday experience. Had a reservation for 7 ladies on the patio for my bday last night. Happy hour goes until 6p and it's not just at the bar. Jessie was an awesome server, the food/drinks was delicious and the price was right. And instead of free dessert he gave me a box of seasonings and some coupons to use at the other Collins restaurants. Spices and coupons are my love language. 10/10 rec this place. read more
I loved this place!! Didn't realize it was where Rockefeller used to be, but the menu was fantastic! Every dish brought out kept getting better and better. We started off with the beets and crudo. Delicious. Then the salt block was brought. Even better than the crudo surprisingly! Then the grilled cheese... my friend visiting from out of town could not stop raving about this grilled cheese. Phenomenal. After that, we thought the shrimp dish would just be ok. Were we wrong. It surprisingly had so much flavor and ended up probably being my favorite dish of the night. And the trifle was the perfect ending to the meal. Not too sweet, perfect amount of tart. And a great size too share. Absolutely would come back! Can't recommend it enough. read more
