Love stopping here for a casual place to enjoy people, music, nibbles and sips. It's a great date spot or a casual place to enjoy your book on the sofa in the corner. That's what I love it for! Hoping that they will bring in non-alcoholic wines and bubbly in the future! Enjoy the happy refresher in the meanwhile!

Amazing and very welcoming customer service! Hospitality was great; Wednesdays they have live music during the evening as well.

    Love this!! Cheers

Every time I come here- the service is awesome! They are so friendly and I love the Prosecco. It is delish. Actually, drinking a glass right now. Great little bites if you don't feel like dining somewhere. Tons of TVs. Great upscale neighborhood wine bar. Always, enjoyable. Cheese plates are yummy! Hummus- delish. Served with carrots, cucumbers and pita. They also have little truffles that you can buy individually which is so fun and perfect if you have a little sweet tooth.

Stock photo but I wanted everyone to see the outside as I forgot to take pictures of it.

I went there on a Saturday night and I thought it was so incredibly relaxing. We sat outside on the patio with the misters on. There was music inside but we chose to sit outside. At one point the staff opened the door so the music could be heard outside. I also learned that live music is available I believe they said Wednesday-Saturday. It's hard nowadays to find live music and there is nothing like live music. I ordered the chicken salad wrap with light dressing with a side salad. It tasted fresh and light for a hot summer night. We stayed until closing and I never felt rushed. The waitress was attentive but not intrusive. I wish I could remember her name as she deserves recognition. There many options for wine to select from. I will definitely be back. It is a hidden gem tucked away in a shopping center. You could miss it as it is in a large parking lot in the corner so take your time looking for it. Also there is a lot of parking which can be tricky to find parking at places in Scottsdale, especially if you are looking in old-town scottsdale. Not having to get aggravated looking for parking is a huge plus for me.

Be prepared to pay extra for carrots and cucumbers!

A lovely wine bar! The bartender was very friendly and helpful. Their standard pour is 9 ounces which is nice. We really enjoyed ourselves here. One little side note that I found odd: they charge extra for carrots and cucumbers on their hummus plate. I've never heard of this before. Lol

Celtic flatbread, Mexican salad, prosciutto bruschetta, burrata/bacon bruschetta

Cute wine pub with a nice outdoor seating area and reasonable prices. My mom, sister, and I came here and we all started with a wine fight which was 3, 3 ounce pours for $18 which we all enjoyed. They had a nice selection to choose from. We also ordered the Mexican salad, the Celtic flatbread, prosciutto bruschetta and burrata/bacon bruschetta. The Celtic flatbread was by far the tastiest thing we ordered and all 3 of us agreed. The salad was pretty good nothing special. The bruschettas were so so and not particularly flavorful. We also noted that the online menu and prices were slightly different than the in person menu so take note of that. Our server was very nice and overall would definitely come back to try some more food and wine.

Pinot Grigio and the fromage plate

The service was amazing. The place was packed and there was only one server, but he still didn't lack behind. We ordered the fromage plate which was delicious. We sat outside on the patio and everyone seemed to having a great time. I'd recommend the Pinot Grigio I loved it! Not too sweet and not too dry

they had great wine and amazing happy hour deals! Their staff was super attentive and very friendly. The atmosphere was also very lively and comfortable. I would definitely come back here again.

Cute tucked away wine bar. Inside is remodeled and looks nice and inviting. Great happy hour prices on . Friendly place to chat, sit and socialize. Nice outdoor patio for when the weather is warm. Great location at Indian Bend and Scottsdale Road makes it very convenient to pop in and take a break from the harried holiday shopping. Nice happy hour food choices and they offer a good selection of food. There are televisions to watch but they aren't too obtrusive. Stop and check this place out if you haven't already.

I Ubered but I saw that there was a good amount of parking as I walked in. Ambiance (3.5/5): A small but homey winery. You're not in wine country, so you won't have scenic views, but it is a nice place to have some wine. We sat at some high tops close to the bar. Service (4/5): Friendly service. If you're doing a wine tasting, they'll tell you a little bit about each wine. Food (N/A): We were on a liquid diet during this visit. Drinks (4/5): The Wine Collective participates in the Scottsdale Wine Walk along with five other wineries in Old Town. You can get a passport at any of the locations for $5 and then you'll receive a discount off of flights at each. You also get a stamp upon completing your mission at each spot. They only had one passport left, so luckily I was able to start the challenge. They have several different flights, more than just your standard red or white, including one where they will customize the flight based on your preferences. Pretty awesome and not something I see at a lot of wineries. All of the wines we sampled were solid. I'd return! Now I just need to complete the Wine Walk. Our party arrived right on time for our reservation, but we were not seated until 15 min later because our table was not ready. It took about an additional 15 min to get tap water for the table (there was not enough provided anyways), and to place our orders too another ~20 min. The food did not arrive until 30 min later. For context, we eventually learned that the restaurant was short staffed and the bartender was also operating as our waiter. When the food finally arrived, there was a mix-up on what was delivered. We had checked with the staff who delivered one of the dishes: we ordered the "wild mushroom" side, but what we received did not look quite like it. We asked clarifying questions x2, but were assured, "no, it is the wild mushroom." Turned out, it was the mushroom empanada that was delivered to our table, which we originally did not order. The management did rectify the situation upon the conclusion of the event when we were paying the bill, but to us, it felt a bit accusatory as if we intentionally wanted to cause a huge fuss about the final total, which was absolutely not the case. The food in general was delicious. If this was a more standard dining experience, it would have been 4-5 stars just for the food. The service was very subpar, and really colored the entire experience negatively, therefore the two star review. I understand that staffing shortages happen -- fine. My family has worked in food service as wait staff for 25+ YEARS, so I am empathetic. But for management to ring up our bill and then come confront us in an inflammatory manner, making us feel like we were wrong, on an occasion to celebrate something special, was extremely disappointing.

The experience continued to feel awkward when the young woman escorting us to our table asked how my day was going. I mentioned that it had been going well until I was spoken to rudely by the hostess, and instead of addressing the situation professionally, she responded coldly and seemed to take offense. Our waitress also came across as abrupt and unfriendly. When our friend asked for another drink, her response was sharp and dismissive. While I understand that drink timing depends on the bar, the way it was communicated was unnecessary and unprofessional. To her credit, she did improve later in the meal, and the dinner ultimately worked out. However, had we not been dining with two other couples, we likely would have left after those early interactions.

What looks like free parking in the self-parking area actually isn't. There's a sign that says you have to pay for parking with a QR code. Parking is only free for 30 minutes. I called the hotel to inquire about parking and they didn't answer. After walking to the front desk, we were told that valet is validated at the speakeasy. I'm not a fan of valet, but I'll take free valet service (minus the tip) over paying more for self parking. Now, let's get to the good stuff. As the self-appointed king of speakeasies, I'm back with another one. Ambiance: (4.5/5): I won't give all of the clues away, but walk to the third floor, look for a book shelf, and you're on the right track. Once you get inside, you'll find an intimate speakeasy. We're talking seating for 12 or so people or so, tops. I imagine getting a seat on a weekend is quite tough, so take that into account and make a reservation. When you do, you'll find out that there's a $25 cancellation fee per person if you cancel within 24 hours of your reservation. I understand that no shows negatively impact restaurants/bars, but I absolutely hate when the cost of doing business is passed off on customers. I'm reliable, but if I'm going with someone else, and they cancel, now I'm in a tough spot. Anyways, I loved the ambiance at The Madam. Think dark wood, sophistication, and some cowboy vibes. The seating was comfortable, too. Service (4.5/5): Minus the parking snafu, our bartender did an absolute awesome job taking care of us. She was friendly and attentive throughout. They were perfecting a new drink menu and even offered us two drinks on the house. Which was much appreciated! We were lucky, for sure. Food (N/A): While they do have food, I was on a liquid diet on this visit. Drinks (4/5): When I go to a speakeasy, I'm looking for creativity. You'll find that here for the most part, though I wish the list of craft cocktails was a little larger. There were only two or so cocktails that struck my fancy. I went with the one with green chartreuse, which is always a treat. But, when I'm at a speakeasy, I'm hoping that at least half of the selection intrigues me. Despite the limited selection, the cocktails are well made and have an interesting blend of flavors. The Madam is a true speakeasy (no signage and an ambiance which is true to the history of speakeasies), which makes them a winner in my book.
