Breakfast Loaded Tots
Nicole B.

A really solid spot. It's small, and in a strip mall, so keep a close eye out or you might miss it. They have both outdoor and indoor seating. You order at the counter, they give you a number, and bring you your food. The portions were pretty big. I think many could consider sharing. My friend got the pineapple chicken and waffles and ate it all. I got the breakfast loaded tots. It was good but honestly, and it's weird for me to say, had too much sausage. The flavor was still on point, the staff were friendly and attentive, and I'd recommend it to anyone in the area.

Southern Fried Chicken Benedict

Quiet little brunch cafe in Gilbert. Been meaning to try for so long and finally went. It's a "order at the counter and find yourself a table" kind of place which I like. We were greeted immediately and offered menus. I opted for the special which was the southern fried chicken Benedict. Fried chicken breast on an English muffin covered in hollandaise sauce, bacon, hot honey, over medium eggs and pickled red onion. Served with a side of country potatoes. Very tasty and a large portion, I always love the sweet, salty, spicy dynamic in my food. Everything was cooked perfectly. I also ordered the bananas foster cold brew which was also very tasty. Wifey ordered the Bennie Burrito which has bacon, tots, pickled onions and Chipotle aioli in the burrito, then it is topped with a crispy cheese skirt, over-medium eggs, Green Chili hollandaise, pico de gallo. Her order actually came out first and she offered me a bite and I immediately wondered if I made the wrong choice with my order. Overall the food was really good, I like the order and pay up front places so when you're done you're all paid up and can leave without waiting for the check. We will definitely return soon to try some of the other tasty sounding items on the menu. Highly Recommended!

I was looking for a brunch place the day after Thanksgiving that was open in the afternoon and the options in my area were slim until I found Thanks A Brunch. What a gem! Casual, counter serve brunch spot with ample seating and nice decor. I loved the books hanging on the wall for a cool look. The menu had some tasty looking savory options but I was feeling something sweet and couldn't pass on the churro french toast. The server said it was a top choice so I went for it. Wow - the portions! It was a stack of 3 with layered spread of peanut butter and Nutella. Definitely hit the spot. Somehow I ate the whole thing, to which the server remarked they'd never seen anyone finish it before. Too bad that doesn't get me a name on the wall or something, but I'll be back for sure to sample some other items.

Chai Espresso Martini

I wasn't a very big fan of the ordering style here, it felt a little impersonal (to me). I ordered the Pumpkin Brûlée French Toast which was an absolute 10/10. I got that as a platter and that wasn't the best bacon, egg & potato I've ever had but it did the job. I also ordered a chai espresso martini which ultimately I did not end up finishing because it was very dark, did not taste like chai and just overall wasn't doing it for me. However, they do get 4 stars because they were very kind to my puppy and even brought him a dish for fruit and a little cup of whipped cream later on.

I had heard of Thanks a Brunch before and was excited to finally check them out. I am always down for a good brunch spot. Especially during the Spring season. Thanks a Brunch has a menu that offers breakfast burritos and tacos, Benedicts, French toast, avocado toast and hangover bowls. They also have a lunch menu if don't want breakfast. Many of the brunch spots in the Phoenix area are more upscale and fancy. What I liked about Thanks a Brunch is that the atmosphere is a little more casual. It makes for a much more relaxing environment. These guys serve quality food that is loaded with colorful ingredients. They have a number of creative entrées on the menu to order from. I ended up getting the Tomatillo Pork Eggs Benedict and their Campfire Cold Brew with Foam. I was drawn to the Elote Avocado Toast and ordered one of those too. I ended up taking most of my food home, but everything was great.

I love when successful food trucks create such a following that going bricks and mortar makes sense. This is the story about Thanks A Brunch in Gilbert Arizona that did just that. Today was my first visit, and I went on the recommendation of my yelping daughter and her fiancé. We went about noon time today (Sunday), and it was pretty packed. The flow of the restaurant is that you get in line and work your way up to the cash register where you order and get a number and then look for a place to sit. When we got up to the cash register all the tables were full, so we ordered to go. Fortunately, right after we paid a table opened up. This is not my favorite type of concept as I would much rather be seated at a table and get a table service. The menu is full of the namesake dishes from classic brunch. There's a large selection of breakfast, burritos, breakfast tacos, French toast, waffles, and egg and meat sandwiches. There's also a limited selection of alcoholic drink drinks, including a couple of mimosas, and coffee. All the food was really good, but I think all three of us were in all of the French toast. It's a carb bomb deluxe. The inside is pretty simple with a number of four top tables and a couple of two seat high tops. There's also three or four tables outside under some shade umbrellas. All in all it's a pleasant experience, and the food is good, but at my age I don't like standing in line to order my food. That by itself is the reason I can only go with four stars.

Blackberry pistachio French toast

This is my second visit to Thanks a Brunch. I went on a Sunday for lunch and it was packed! The line was almost out the door the whole time I was there. You order first and then wait for a table. They do a good job enforcing that and have multiple signs. That's a good thing because after I saw how crowded it was I didn't want to take up a table for just me. So I ordered to go. It took 30 minutes to get my food. The restaurant is pretty small but they have 3 tables outside too. I got the blackberry pistachio French toast. It's probably much better looking when you get it in the restaurant. I also got a classic burrito but I'm saving it for another meal. The French toast is kind of dry. The blackberry sauce is good and it has a cream cheese filling that was also tasty but the filling was only an about half the French toast stack. I'll update my review after I eat the burrito. If you don't mind the wait, everything else I saw coming out to the tables looked delicious.

Cookie Butter Tiramisu Stacked French Toast

Found this place through inKind. This is one of the best restaurant for vegetarian. Lots of veggie options. Went for brunch and tried their impossible sausage sandwich, vegan pesto sandwich and cookie butter tiramisu French toast. Everything was good except their potato fries. Felt they were bland. But their tiramisu French toast is a must try. Perfect sweetness and brioche bun texture. Simple ambiance and quick service

1st timer probably be back to try something else. Food is different (good) than most places! I had the Loaded Street Fries I added 2 eggs it was delicious! Fries with carne asada cheese fondue jalapeño tomato and avocado with cilantro. Service is good you have to order before you sit down. Self serve drinks and coffee. Coffee is good. It's a cute and colorful place looks to seat about 40 people. This is what I had!

I cannot say enough about this lovely brunch spot. The menu is so amazing and made for a lot of different diets out there. A girlfriend discovered Thanks a Brunch when we were looking for somewhere to meet in-between our two houses. Service and food is incredible. They even have a separate vegan menu and Vegans, the menu is to die for! They also have all the brunch drinks and mimosa flites! FYI. The flites are huge! We made the mistake of getting 2 flites, one for each of us and it was way too much! Get 1 flite and split it! LOL! Menu, recipes, service GOOD! Eat local! Go to Thanks A Brunch. Your stomach will be happy you did!

Fried ice cream French toast
Teresa A.

The fried ice cream French toast is French kiss! A perfect crispness to each cut, the cornflakes are a great touch, and the center filled with icecream is such a delicious breakfast sweet treat. First time trying thanks a brunch and it was rather busy. Seating is very limited but business has a good flow. Got a table quickly. You order at the counter and the wait to receive food isnt long at all. I would definitely come back to try other wonderful French toast creations. I also got a strawberry lemonade and it was good as well.

I decided to try this place again because my girlfriend heard good things about it and wow! It was so good! We will be back. I guess the first time was just a fluke but I believe in second chances and the food was amazing this time. I'm not sure if someone accidently served me 2-hour old potatoes the first time but clearly there was some sort of major accident because it was a completely different quality of food this time. The prices were good too. The churro pancakes were very filling for $12. I would definitely recommend this place to get brunch just maybe don't get takeout.

Prickly pear, strawberry margarita with a Tajin rim delicious - A pink-colored cocktail in a glass with a salted rim, garnished with a lemon slice and fruit pieces, served with black straws.

I was in search of a great breakfast place after my doctors appointment and my fellow yelpers did not disappoint me! This place is pretty cool! You have to order before you sit down but they will bring your food to you. I had the tomatillo pork eggs, Benedict, and it was quite tasty! I did have to put some hot sauce on it because I like my food spicy, but it really was bursting with flavor! I highly recommend this place! I can't wait to go back and try something else even though that pork tomatillo eggs Benedict was pretty fabulous! I might just have to stick with what I know. They also serve liquor here. I got the strawberry, prickly pear margarita with a Tajin rim, and it was wonderful! It really did quench my thirst!

Atmosphere 5/5 Such a cool restaurant with allot of history dating back to 1935/1958/2008/2022 which reflects the years of the establishments service and architecture evolutions. Always a great vibe here! Service 10/5 Our experience tonight began with the beautiful and friendly hostess Bailey. She greeted us with a warm smile and asked us what our seating presence was. We grabbed a booth overlooking Page street and the foot traffic outside. Our server tonight was Treven who joined us table side. He had our drink and starters in quickly. My wife ordered the Lucky Penny Latte and I had iced tea. Starter was their out of this world Burrata. The photos fall short of its glory. Entrees was their memorable minestrone soup, and I ordered their sesame ginger noodle salad featuring sweet potato glass noodles which are delicious and a host of smartly paired vegetables, chicken and a pleasant ginger sriracha delivering some spice and heat without overpowering the dish itself. For desert we fell way off the wagon with their in-house carrot cake. A slice easily feeds four and we enjoyed ours with espressos. Dinner was excellent from the service to the scratch kitchen food, and expressos, Magnifico! $125.00 with tip and leftovers too. Date night my friends-SYOY!

Shriveled basil and tiny pepperonis. Even worse, the bottom was black. Just awful. 1. Our waitress and other servers were all friendly. Nice vibe, clean and gender inclusive restrooms clean and tidy. While topped with a good amount of cheese on top, once congealed, any chip on the bottom that you pull out is just going to be a naked chip. They do top these chips off with a generous amount of toppings. Brunch Burger ($19 - Angus beef patty, sunny side egg, avocado, applewood smoked bacon, cheddar, sriracha aioli, hash brown patty, brioche bun, choice of fresh fruit or breakfast potatoes): I shared this burger and requested the kitchen to cut it for me which they did. Very thankful that they were okay with the request. The burger itself was decent. It was a little weird to eat as the tiny hash brown patty made the structural integrity funny but it's not a deal breaker. I will say that it needed more sauce or something. The woman was shaking her head and saying to the waitress "this isn't okay to be doing while people are eating", pointing toward our kids. Once I realized this, I immediately called my kids back over and had them sit with us, and I even let her know that if something was bothering her, she could've told us and I would have addressed it right away. I pointed out a table at the far end, well away from the entrance, but was directed instead to what felt like the least desirable table, with the reasoning being they might need the space for a large party. After a bit of back-and-forth, they eventually let us sit where we preferred, but it made for a poor first impression -- especially considering the restaurant never filled up.
