Great service once again, as my friends & I were here for our friend Melanie's birthday. We arrived at a very good time because we got right in & placed our orders. The lunch rush came in right after us! I had the Nacho Fries & a Coke Zero. Just the right lunch & portion for me in terms of meal size. I was content & not overly filled up. Busy but happy ambiance, along with good friends & a beautiful day. What more can you ask for? Joe's always satisfies!
I want to start this review by saying, it's a breath of fresh air to eat a good portion of food and not feel tired or drained from certain ingredients bogging me down! At Joe's Farm Grill, the quality of ingredients does show in every single dish you get. Another thing to mention is, when you're done ordering your food at the register, they are pretty fast regardless of how packed the place is which pleasantly surprised me! For the onion rings, I liked them for a few reasons. Starting off, the onions weren't soggy by any means which I love in a good ring, batter wasn't the majority of the ring which is also a great sign, and lastly the crunch was very nice with them coming out fresh. The Fontina burger has a great beef patty that carries its flavor by how clean it tastes alongside the mushrooms that are the other biggest taste factor for this burger. Finally, the baby back ribs were the star for me personally because you can actually taste the pork for its quality. I usually expect a super sweet sauce that bogs me down after with ribs, but these ones left me feeling able to still go on about my day which I love. They aren't shake off the bone tender but I liked the gentle chew they provide. Overall, I recommend Joe's to anyone who cares more about the ingredient sourcing and quality while enjoying a nice family friendly vibe for a lunch/dinner. They have a great outdoor patio seating for times when it's not over 100 degrees.
This place has a large nice outdoor seating area when weather permits. Walk in and order at counter and wait for food. Food came out fairly quickly first time here in over 10+ years gluten-free bun was OK.
This is one of my favorites spot where you can get fresh, healthy, and delicious meals. They have lots of options to offer; from simple grill Salmon, Burger, Pizza and more. The service is top-notch, the staff s are very friendly and they are willing to help whenever needed. They have both indoor and outdoor area for you to sit back and enjoy your meals. Great vibes, warm welcome, comfortable and very relaxing. If you like the garden feel, this spot has so much more to offer for you, come and try it yourself!
This is definitely a family destination and rightfully so. You can choose to dine inside or outdoors, with plenty of seating in both. The menu is small but designed to have something for everyone, from salads to chicken and burgers or seafood. The fried shrimp platter is wonderful and comes with sides -- i had the sweet potato fries. The waitstaff is very friendly and eager to help you with whatever you might need-- there is a handy hand washing station out back near the restrooms-that is a great addition
6/20/26: I was not expecting this place to be so large. They have an outside patio area to the north with mister's & shade, and numerous picnic tables around the building, also with shade & nice greenery. The service was on top of things & the few staff members we encountered were happy & friendly. There was plenty of parking. The food was good but nevertheless, I was disappointed with my biscuit & sausage gravy scramble. Its description states "loaded with Schreiner's pork bacon sausage". Can YOU spot any sausage in the photo? That's because there was hardly any. Despite that, the gravy was flavorful, and the potatoes were exceptionally seasoned. The biscuit was a bit small for the price. My sister enjoyed her waffles & chicken. Would we return? The jury is still out.
This place has always been a local favorite of mine, and the long lines always show that I'm not the only one. It's a great kind of fast casual type of environment, where all of the food is farm to table. Prices are pretty reasonable, and I don't think I've ever had a dish I didn't like here. On my most recent visit, I had the Nashville Hot Chicken "Gilbert Style," which was a first, and wow, did it deliver. The sandwich was huge, delicious, and I ordered it with a side of their garlic parmesan fries, which are to die for. You absolutely MUST try this place if you live in, or are visiting, Gilbert!!!
This is one of our go-to spots, especially for your birthday since you get a free meal! My husband swears nothing compares to their chicken & waffles they're truly a game changer. If you visit, you absolutely have to check out the bathrooms because it's one of those things you just have to experience for yourself After your meal, take a stroll through the gorgeous Agritopia Gardens to soak in the charm and walk off all the yummy food.
This place is phenomenal. Be prepared to wait around lunch time for 30-60 minutes to order and get your food. It is definitely worth the wait. The portions are all fresh, and we could have easily shared a burger or sandwich. Their onion rings are real, shakes are the best around. And their service, while extremely busy, they have the process down. Very friendly staff.
We saw this restaurant on social media along with other coffee, shops and retail in the area so we decided to make a day of it. We were torn between another very popular restaurant and someone convinced us to come here and we were glad we did. As a walk up counter order service and they give you a buzzer when your order is ready, they bring it to your table along with silverware, water, etc. There's a big indoor seating area as well as a very large outdoor area with misters, which is probably amazing in the fall and spring- not so amazing in the hot summer. It's across from the Agritopia village/farm. We opted to have the apple fritters and breakfast tacos to share the apple. Fritters were outstanding. I believe there were eight fritters to the order with a side of caramel sauce. We ended up taking home half the order. The tacos were OK. We thought the scrambled eggs were overcooked and dry. It comes with three tacos on doubled up corn tortillas which are like the street size tortilla. I'm not sure if having a larger tortilla would be better. They were a little challenging to eat as a taco. They are definitely stuffed with the ingredients. The side of potatoes were delicious. Clean location a really great experience. I probably would come back and try other Items.

The vibes are half the reason we love it so much. Sitting outside, the relaxed farm setting, and the kids being able to run around once they've finished eating makes it such an easy, happy place to spend an evening. It never feels rushed, which is a huge win when you're dining with kids. Food-wise, we have our favorites. The onion rings are fantastic, and the corn dog bites are technically for the kids... but let's be honest, I absolutely steal a few whenever there are leftovers. And then there are the milkshakes. Oh, the milkshakes. They are always worth it. We usually split two meals so we can balance things out. One of us will go for the classic burger and fries while the other orders something a little healthier like the salmon and veggies. That way we get the treats and the tasty stuff without feeling totally overboard. Great food, fun atmosphere, and a place the whole family genuinely looks forward to. It's a birthday tradition for a reason.
I must say the photos don't lie and the smell from the line you can tell the food was going to be great. And if the line is long it must mean it is worth it. I like this place since you can choose inside or outside and it's nice having rowdy kids they have plenty of area to run without disturbing any peace. The owner came and brought menus out which was nice we can look while we wait the line was pretty long this time tho so we didn't end up staying needless to say we will be back, I can't get the smell of the food out my mind and the photos I've seen just look so good! There are some must tries here.
Service Once we found a table a server brought over a picture of water/plastic glasses. Our food came out fast. Ambiance It was unseasonably warm for late February so we sat inside. Several tables were dirty but we found a booth. Outside patio is nice with very large trees. Food We had the BBQ Chicken Salad and the BBQ bacon blue bird. The sandwich came with several side options, and the beet salad was fresh with golden and red beets. The chicken was so dry and chewy in both dishes. The salad had plenty of roasted corn, poblano peppers and juicy tomatoes, there was a smoky barbecue drizzle throughout the salad, but the char marked chicken was so dry and tough. They bring you the drinks (and you can get soda refills). The best thing we had was the beet salad.
I have heard amazing things about Joe's Farm Grill from just about anyone who has been there. I've heard it is a beautiful setting.-Casual and family friendly. Parking is available, there are garden beds to visit while you wait for your food, and most of all... The food is farm fresh. When my husband asked where I wanted to celebrate our wedding anniversary, I really wanted a casual place where we could bring the kids, and I was really in the mood for some good, old-fashioned American food. I wanted a delicious burger, french fries, and a milkshake! We decided to get there on an early Friday evening after we finished work and we got a parking spot right out front. We walked right up to order our food, no line. It appeared that we had beat the Rush because the place definitely filled in by the time we got our food. I was surprised at the prices, but I was happy to pay it because we had such an enjoyable experience with such delicious food. Our food took about 20 minutes and we each got burgers, fries, and milkshakes. We ordered the farm and grill burger with cheddar cheese and french fries. We all shared the fries sampler that included garlic/Parmesan fries, sweet potato fries, and regular fries. My son and husband shared the strawberry milkshake and my daughter and I shared the vanilla bean milkshake. The service was amazing, the environment was so fun, the food was delicious, the milkshakes were the best I've ever tasted, and the entire experience was perfect. I already cannot wait to go back. I'll be dreaming about those milkshakes for a while. Also, the garlic/Parmesan fries and sweet potato fries were delicious. The beet salad is amazing and fresh. read more
While visiting the kids in Gilbert we decided decided to try this restaurant for breakfast. The kids have been here many times and loved the food and the environment. This is a walk up and order restaurant. You order, you pay, and they deliver your food and drinks to you. There are tables inside within the restaurant, and they have a nice outside area with generous picnic tables, shade, misters and smaller tables for the younger guests. We had a party of five adults and two children. It was literally 100° outside, but we sat outside anyway, and it was fairly comfortable with the shade and the misters. We moved over one of the smaller tables and our grandson enjoyed his breakfast and his very own table. I enjoyed a side of Belgian waffle ( for a side it was still really big ) and two over medium eggs. Our daughter shared the regular Belgian waffle and eggs with her son. My son and my son-in-law both got the big breakfast with everything you could imagine on them- eggs, pancakes, bacon, sausage, biscuits and hashbrowns. The gluten-free hubby had a vegetable omelette. All the food tasted amazing, came out hot and satiated our hunger. The staff was friendly and made sure we had our drinks, our silverware and napkins, and overall were happy. When we come back, we'll definitely come back here for a breakfast again! read more
Back to Joe's Farm Grill for carryout, and once again, everything was easy from start to finish. We ordered through their website, which was simple to use, and our food was ready right when promised. We ordered two waffle dishes--one with bacon, eggs, sausage and potatoes and the other with chicken strips. Both had really good flavor, but we both agreed the waffles were a little on the dry side. My husband ordered the Ghost Chicken Sandwich and loved it. The garlic fries were also a hit! You really can't beat the setting here. Joe's Farm Grill is right on the farm, with indoor seating and a large, dog-friendly patio. It's such a fun and relaxing spot for a meal! read more

The food was great, came out hot and it looked (and tasted) delicious. You order at the counter and the food, silverware and water is brought out to you. In addition, when your food is ready, it's brought out as well (staff). Sat outside, although it is warm today it was very comfortable in the shade. The food is worth coming back for along with the exceptional service. read more
Always a great visit! Have been here many times and no complaints. Staff takes care of you and food is delicious. Still have more items to try from their menu but so far, none have disappointed. Depending on when you visit, the line can get long and out the door, but it's all part of the experience! They have a birthday discount so be sure to stop by on your birthday and show an ID. Great spot to chill with family, hang out with friends, celebrate a birthday, go on a date or even get some work done (depending on the time). read more
The hype is real with Joe's Farm Grill. Super fresh food with beautiful outdoor seating. Came in during the Fall and had great weather to sit outside. Their Chicken Sandwich, Seafood, and Fresh Salads were delicious. Very happy and friendly staff at the checkout counter. Not much interaction after the order line since they give you Table Number and deliver your food when ready. Will be back to visit next time I am in the Gilbert area! read more

Every time I come here we always love to eat outside for lunch so that means the weather is around mid75- to 80 degrees or so. Plenty of tables outside. You first have to order your food and then you go find your table. From the To Share I love the Garlic Fries, fried zucchini slices, onion rings and sweet potato fries. From the Farm Favorites I've enjoyed the ahi tuna sandwich, baby back ribs and grilled salmon platter. From the Burger section o loved Fontina and Farm burgers. From the chicken sandwiches I loved the fontina chicken sandwich. And from Sides I like French fries, beet salad, Cesar salad and if I upgrade I'll do garlic fries or fried zucchini. And then for milkshakes you can't go wrong with any of them: fresh strawberry, dark chocolate, real vanilla bean, butter pecan, mango strawberry. We have a Mama gang meeting here and I went out good and fun , foods was good but lots of flys since we sit outside in the patio.I was fine when I got home but another 2 of my friend got sick in theirs stomach and threw up and have dizziness. We celebrated my daughter's birthday here with a few of her club volleyball teammates and had such a great experience. We chose to sit outside because the weather was perfect, and the heaters made it extra comfortable. While we waited for our food, the girls took photos around the beautifully maintained grounds, which made for awesome backdrops. The food was good, and the customer service was really nice. Our waitress even thanked us for the tip, which felt very genuine. Overall, it was a lovely birthday dinner for my daughter, and we'll definitely be back! read more

We had been here 7 years ago when visiting Arizona. Now we live here and we came before walking the Agritopia lights. We arrived at 4:45 PM and the line was just slightly out the door. It took about 20 minutes to get to the order window; they had two of them open. Our food came out within 10 minutes and it was piping hot. One of us ordered the lamb burger with beef salad and the other a farm burger with the onion ring upgrade. We both enjoyed them. There is plenty of seating inside and out and plenty of parking. This is a great place to visit but just plan on a 20 to 30 minute wait in line to order. It's worth it. read more

When you want the best chicken Caesar salad and perfect outdoor seating, you come to Joe's!! Pair that with some garlic fries or sweet potato fries? Perfect girl dinner. A great atmosphere and beautiful outdoor seating, Joe's is the perfect place to bring the entire family any time of day! Stopped in on a Monday night to grab dinner with friends from out of town. Knew this would be the perfect spot to bring them as they have two young kids. Joes is a very family friendly space with tons of outdoor bench style seating, Adirondack chairs, and a grassy area. It's an order at the counter vibe, and the line was long for a Monday, but moved quickly. Tons of great menu options but i went for the fontina chicken sandwich which had a creamy pesto on it-- so good! Such a local gem! read more
So I finally tried this place after all the years I passed right by. It looked busier than it actually was. We stood in line for a little bit, but the food literally came out in minutes. So overall it was way quicker than expected I have to mention how nice and friendly all of the staff was. I walked over to get a to go cup and a girl sitting there on her break asked me what I needed and helped me. I would never expect someone to go out of their way like that, but she did. I was perfectly content with waiting maybe another minute until someone came back. Those small things show that your employees actually enjoy their job. We had three different dishes. The salmon which was awesome, a patty melt that tasted great, and a bbq bacon blue burger that surprisingly lacked the blue. Other than that issue, everything was great! read more

Joe's farm grill is good. I generally measure new places for me by my favorite breakfast place. But in thinking about it, what would you expect at a "farm grill"? Big portions? Check. Service was awesome. Got here about 830am on a Sunday. No line, no wait.. its good down home food, nothing fancy. read more
The line here was out the door! And for good reason, the food is incredible and so fresh. I had the farm burger with ghost pepper jack cheese and the spice was nice. My only knock is all our orders came out incorrect in some way. The outdoor seating area is also a vibe, and well shaded. But the sweetest thing of the afternoon was the date milkshake! Great gourmet burger spot tucked into Gilbert. I always get the joes burger and it is so good. All the burgers come medium unless otherwise specified but they are juicy and delicious. I love the garlic fries as well. Got a shake and it was huge definitely recommend sharing it. The line has been out the door every time I've come but it moves quick. read more

We ordered the Gouda Garlic Bacon Burger, Patty Melt and lemonades. I upgraded my fries to garlic fries which were phenomenal and definitely the star of the show. The restaurant is clean and staff were friendly. You order at the counter, they give you a buzzer with a number and you seat yourself. Food came out quickly and everything looked delicious and was tasty. Patty Melt came out piping hot and the garlic fries were seasoned to perfection with fresh garlic. The burger was a bit bland and Patty Melt could have used a tad more salt but overall was delicious. Lemonades were refreshing and the perfect pairing for what we ordered. We ordered regular and blackberry, both were delicious but preferred the regular lemonade. We would definitely recommend! We plan on coming back for breakfast and trying a couple of other things on the menu. read more
It's been a while since I've been back here, but always loved this place for their selection and freshness of the food. The whole point in the Agritopia area is that they grow most of their fruits and vegetables fresh and that's what they use in the dishes. Upon returning, I am sad to say some of my favorite menu items such as the crispy brussels sprouts are not on their menu. I hope it'll make a return back. My other go to is the Thai chicken salad with the ahi tuna on it. However, I feel like this place is more known for their burgers, fries, and shakes. They do have pretty unique menu options If you're looking to try something different. You stand in line first to order and then they hand you a tracking number, then take any seat. There's plenty of outdoor and indoor seating. For summer specifically it's equipped with fans and misters over the table. The whole outdoor farm vibe of this place and atmosphere I feel like is what makes this place joes Farm Grill. Second time visiting, and I'm officially hooked! This place continues to exceed my expectations. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, perfect for large groups or a more intimate meal with friends. The outdoor area is especially lovely --beautiful weather, misters, and great scenery. The service is outstanding--Jay (my server), Bill the GM, and the team go above and beyond. I came in solo, and my food came out quickly while I still felt completely taken care of. They're attentive to every detail and genuinely connect with their guests. The menu is full of delicious options, and everything I've tried has been amazing. We came here after rock climbing at Alta Gym only 8-ish minutes away. We were hungry so it was convenient being able to order at the counter, find a table and relax as your food gets delivered to your table. There is indoor and outdoor seating. We took advantage of the outdoor seating to watch the sunset. The patio wasn't too warm, but they had those 360 degree fan mister things everywhere for comfort's sake since it can get hot. I ordered the ahi tuna sandwich. Multiple times, there were warnings that the tuna is seared rare. What's funny is that most places say this and I always fear it will be overcooked. Here, it was not only perfect but one of the best ahi tuna sandwiches I've ever eaten. I paired with sweet potato fries and it was delicious. It'll be hard to compete with this one! read more
I came for breakfast and got the Joes big breakfast it was big I got pancakes and my favorite part was potatoes omg just thinking of them I could eat a bowl. The rest was good I couldn't finish everything! Definitely have to come back! read more

Hey Matt, the Farm Grill is limited (family atmosphere) but the Garage East, also on the property has a brewery inside along with eateries and a wine bar with a nice patio. Even better experience than the farm grill IMHO.
Free meal on my Birthday?
It's a $10 credit towards your bill, but it's only good on the day of your birthday with ID Card.
Do kids also get the free meal on their birthday?
I'm so sorry I do not know the answer about free kids meals on their birthday's. I'd call Joe's for this answer.
Where can I buy or how are their pickles made? The pickles are perfectly neutral and I can't find anything like it anywhere .
Is there a separate line for take out orders?
Yes!!! Call in your order and pick it up at the window!! This is how we do it even when we are eating there. It saves so much time and waiting in the line!
I have a lemon sensitivity. Is there anything on the menu I can have that does not include lemon or citric acid/ natural flavors as a preservative?
They have really good burgers which o don't believe have lemon or critic acid. They also have a large menu of healthy choices but I think you would have to go there to determine their ingredients.
Sodium in farm fresh burger?
I'm sure some is in the burger as it is in almost everything. (Unless you live in NY) but it's all fresh food, you will not see a Sysco truck at Joe's! It's high quality meat and food in general.
Does Joe's' have any vegan choices on their menu?
