daily special -- cinnamon French toast w/bacon & 2 fried eggs over easy
    Susan H.

When we visit family in AZ, we like to go out for breakfast every day. We are amazed at the number of places in the East Valley that serve breakfast. So far, we've been able to try different places during each visit. I came across Wildberries while researching breakfast spots and saw that they had good reviews. We were there on a weekday for a late breakfast. The place is popular. While they were doing a brisk business, I can only imagine what it must be like on the weekends. Upon entering, we were immediately seated and greeted. It's clear from looking at their decor and menu (they also serve lunch) that it is a Greek-owned place. They have daily specials written on a portable sign board, and they take it from table to table so diners can see what's on special that day. Our only complaint was that service was very slow. Our server took our order after we looked at the signboard. I ordered a daily breakfast special that consisted of cinnamon French toast, 2 eggs (I chose over easy), and a choice of meat (I chose bacon). My husband ordered Eggs Benedict off the regular menu. It consisted of two poached eggs with Hollandaise sauce and hash browns. To drink, I had lemonade, and my husband had orange juice and coffee. Like all the other customers, we had a long wait for food. It had us wondering if the back of the house was short-staffed. When the food finally came out, we both enjoyed our meals. The cinnamon French toast was so good on its own that I forgot about the syrup that accompanied it. The eggs were cooked perfectly. My husband enjoyed his Eggs Benedict. Wildberries is in a small strip shopping center, and parking is tight. If you are heading west on Baseline, you have to make a left at the light at S. Ext Street, then a left into the lot. On the way out, heading east, make a left out of the lot onto Baseline.

The shop is a very standard cafe/brunch setup. Its cutely decorated but nothing exceptional. It is very clean and cozy. Service was very friendly, prompt, attentive. The food was exactly what you hope for in a breakfast place. Is it a new up and coming trendy stylish place, not really, but if you want a peaceful clean spot with good solid food to enjoy a quiet brunch by yourself ir with friends, this os the place to go. They also have a very nice well shaded outdoor area. I do need to return to try the cinnamon rolls.

    Denver with Cheese Omelette

Decided to try this spot based on overall reviews on Yelp. When we got there they were fairly busy and had people waiting to get seated. We were offered to sit at the bar or to wait for a table to open up, we went with the bar option. The restaurant itself is very spacious inside and they also offer patio seating as well. Our server was very friendly and welcoming. She provided the menus and got our drink orders right away. We were in the mood for some omelettes and decided to go with those. We got a Meat Lovers Omelette and Denver with Cheese. We got Ana few different toast and side options as well. When the omelettes were brought out, the only way we could tell them apart because we each got a different side, if it wasn't for that, there's no difference between the two. I'm not sure if they are all like that or just these two. Both omelettes were cooked OK, they needed salt as they were pretty bland. The meat lovers had some chorizo which added a little bit of taste, otherwise they were not that good and tasted identical. Based on the reviews, I figured it would've been a better experience, but thus time they were not impressive.

Caitlin was our server. She was fantastic! I called in to make sure the wait wasnt long before coming. Sure enough it was busy but no wait. That was great considering we're a party of four plus a high chair/infant. Hubs got the green chili bacon omelet with hash browns and sourdough. Nothing special or bad, but exactly what he needed for brekkie. Son got the brunch burger - the biggest burger I have ever seen in my life. With fries. The burger is easily a 1/3-1/2 lb burger. Just massive and he was SO happy for the taste. I got the gyro omelet with egg whites, fruit and english muffin. Super yummy. Gyro meat was soft and the feta wasnt overwhelming. Daughter got the california eggs Benedict. She loved it! We also got a short stack with berries and cream for the table... left no crumbs! Lol! After all that our lovely server gave me a coffee for the road (very thoughtful and kind). After searching for 20 mins on yelp for a brunch spot and coming up with crappy options I searched for "omelets" and this spot came up. It was def a traditional brunch spot and was the best breakfast we have had in the greater phoenix area for our vacay. 10/10!

Wildberries was great! We jumped into our food so quick I forgot to take photos haha There is a ton of breakfast and lunch options to accommodate all guests. The staff were very friendly and attentive as well! We arrived at 11 and it was fairly busy so could have a short wait at times!

A spot I've passed by hundred of times and finally stopped in to try! It was busy on a Saturday morning, but we were able to be seated promptly outside on the patio. The service was exceptional, all the staff we encountered were so friendly and warm. My husband ordered the birria breakfast burrito and the birria was so tender and full of flavor. I opted for the healthy breakfast and subbed scrambled eggs and added a Cajun season chicken breast. Great portion sizes for the price point, and so many menu options that sounded delicious. We will be back to try more.

Our first, but not last time here. The server was very friendly and the food was delivered fast. The cinnamon roll was huge. I had the chili burger and couldn't eat it all. The chili had a nice flavor to it. My husband really enjoyed the clam chowder soup of the day along with the Florentine Benedict. He said the eggs were perfectly prepared and the hollandaise sauce was very tasty. The music was just loud enough to hear, but wasn't too loud to prevent us from hearing each other without having to talk too loud. Sorry forgot to take pictures of the food, we were hungry and dove right in.

I've been wanting to check this place out and I'm so glad I did! The service is quick and attentive. I came in around 1pm for brunch and had crunchy French toast with some eggs & sausage. So good. Cute lil diner. Will be back :)

The staff was friendly and service was quick. The gravy was the right combo of creamy w a hint of spice from the sausage. The biscuit was light and airy w a bit of crumble. The French toast was tender and the lemon filling was tasty but I was expecting a bit more tart . It was very light and airy though . They give you butter and syrup but it's really not needed the blueberry sauce is just enough hint of sweet for me. The hollandaise was light but not sure if homemade , was a good simple flavor , I asked for it on the side so I could choose my own . The poached egg was done just right and the crab back was more like a hash down tater tot consistency. Not a bad taste but not my expectation for a crab cake . Overall I'd return again , was a hard choice for all the options

My family. and I absolutely loved this spot. we came here straight from the Phoenix airport. I'm so glad the hubby had found this spot. There were a ton of people waiting to be seated here but somehow we were lucky enough to have waited maybe a mere 5 minutes for a nice lil shaded table in the outside patio. We were first time visitors here so actually we were in the best possible spot. we saw so many dishes go by us and we were able to admire other regulars as they ordered their meals. it was so much fun. one thing that I have to say is that I love that this is a family run and owned spot. `The food was not only phenomenal but the staff were so sweet and so understanding. we did wait a while for our food but when it arrived we happily gobbled it up in no time. there were a few mistakes made but we weren't upset at all. they were all rectified and without any harm or damage to us. I had their stuffed French toast, the one with the blackberry drizzle. I was in heaven. for whatever reason I was on a French toast kick during this visit to AZ and I can honestly say that this has to be one of my fave's. it was so terribly delicious. I was ad when I took that last amazing melt in your mouth bite that left me wanting for much more than just another nibble. their sausages that are made in house are so amazing. they taste fresh. I don't know how else to explain it but to say that they have a fresh taste, nothing processed and nothing that seems so mundane like any other breakfast sausage. this one was indeed special. you could seriously taste the love and care that they put into making their food. one of the folks in our dining group was having a bit of a low blood sugar issue. our server got on it right away and brought a few things to try and help the situation. it worked, luckily, like a charm and well, of course. our food all came out right after. their prices are more than reasonable. I liked sharing my meal with my lil kiddo because she had some of my French toast and I had some of her eggs and delectable sausage. it was a most wonderful meal to start the day after our 1hr and 20 min flight that was shorter than the voyage to the rental car pick up area. LOL. this was a great first stop! thank you for such a wonderful meal. I have more photos to post. I need to get on that. LOL. sorry...I was too busy eating!

This cute breakfast restaurant is a place you do not want to miss out on!! This place is cozy and the service was quick. I was greeted immediately and taken care of well. I ordered coffee and water and it was delivered promptly. There were choices between breakfast and lunch, I chose the breakfast option!! I had their waffle with berries & cream with a side of hashbrowns and eggs. Everything was perfectly made and absolutely delicious!! I will definitely be back!!

When having a staycation for 4th of July, my boyfriend and I checked out this location for breakfast. Definitely a small town, patriotic diner feel to it. The service was friendly and the food was good, but nothing truly stood out to us. It could be what we ordered, but I'd definitely return and try something else if in the area again.

This was an awesome find! Craving a good breakfast, this is your spot! Really nice clean establishment. Highly appreciate that!!quick service and friendly staff. I ordered the avocado toast and added the sausage patties. Such a good choice and very satisfying. The sausage was really good. Don't miss out on those. My friend ordered the lemon filled French toast and that was amazing as well. The lemon cream is such a good touch. No syrup needed on that one.

No seats were available inside (good sign) so we went outside in the shaded patio with misters and found an open table. Our server, Oliver, was awesome! Very friendly and attentive and helpful with items on the menu. For drinks we ordered an old fashioned and a pint of church music. Both good choices. Since it's a burger joint, Hubs ordered the Balboa and I ordered the Yeti. Wow! My burger was to die for. The rosemary goat cheese with bacon jam was the perfect combo of tangy and sweet! Hubs was eating his burger without any complaints which is what you want. Both of us went with the hand cut fries. Crispy and very good! We can't wait to return. This place is legit!

We asked if they could turn on the sound for the World Cup and they were more than willing to accommodate. I thought the Balboa burger was very good and I would have enjoyed the gas lamp burger better if the red pepper didn't keep slipping out. They don't charge you if you change fries for tots or even your burger patty for a chicken or turkey patty, which is really nice. Lowlights: I'm a big french fry eater and I didn't really like the fries here I found them too soft. The majority of their tables inside are barstools, which is a bit uncomfortable for me personally.

At Joe's Farm Grill, the quality of ingredients does show in every single dish you get. Another thing to mention is, when you're done ordering your food at the register, they are pretty fast regardless of how packed the place is which pleasantly surprised me! For the onion rings, I liked them for a few reasons. Starting off, the onions weren't soggy by any means which I love in a good ring, batter wasn't the majority of the ring which is also a great sign, and lastly the crunch was very nice with them coming out fresh. The Fontina burger has a great beef patty that carries its flavor by how clean it tastes alongside the mushrooms that are the other biggest taste factor for this burger. Finally, the baby back ribs were the star for me personally because you can actually taste the pork for its quality. I usually expect a super sweet sauce that bogs me down after with ribs, but these ones left me feeling able to still go on about my day which I love. They aren't shake off the bone tender but I liked the gentle chew they provide. Overall, I recommend Joe's to anyone who cares more about the ingredient sourcing and quality while enjoying a nice family friendly vibe for a lunch/dinner.
