Walking in, the restaurant is so bright and so welcoming. They utilize the space well, and there's a lot of tables for how small the space is, but it's still a walkable restaurant so no worries about bumping into any tables or guests. The decor is super modern, and I love the logo and how it includes a bike for the two "o" in the name. :) My group and I got the Kahi & Kemer and the Arabic Way set meal. The Arabic Way provided a lot of "dips" that you can use for your bread. I wasn't blown away by the dips to be honest, and the sausage/egg dish was good, although I felt like something I could easily make at home. I would have preferred to eat the shakshuka instead, and would try that next time. The Kahi & Kemer? I would order 100000 of these. I LOVED IT. It's basically a super soft bread that you dip in syrup and clotted cream. SO GOOD. It was basically a sugary breakfast, but really hit the spot. Next time, I'd order this dish again with a shakshuka and maybe one more item. I had seen Rayoog Café on Yelp and thought, wow! I have never seen a brunch display like this - how cool! But I forgot to save it and plan to go so I didn't for a while. I happened to see some activity on Yelp recently and made it a priority to go that weekend! We decided to try the Mam's special because why not!? I didn't come all the way here to NOT try the most elaborate brunch display I've ever seen! A lot of other commenters note that this is way too much food for two people. I don't know if we just eat a lot or what but we finished everything except the.boats and bread (LOL!?) and we ordered coffee, juice and dessert on top. The staff were really nice and happy to answer questions that we had at our table and I saw at other tables. My only suggestion for improvement regarding the staff would be to stop by more often to check in on how things are going. Not sure if it's a cultural difference as I'm aware that industries eating is preferred in some countries/cultures but we were only approached once at the beginning to order, once when brought our food and we never saw anyone ever again. We had to ask for drinks, updates when some of the food didn't come out for a while,, for dessert, and for the bill. I really started to feel like I was bothering THEM :( The food was amazing! Everything was exceptional. The only thing I was a little bit disappointed about was that each small bowl in the Mam's wasn't exactly as represented in the picture on the menu but there was no disclaimer that selections may change due to availability, season, etc. Most of the food that was brought out was actually vegetarian, which was pretty cool, and most of the dishes with meat could easily be modified should somebody want to make it vegetarian. 4/4/26: wonderful food, excellent ambiance, relatively clean, and a nice sized patio. The service could have been better. It took about five minutes before someone came to our table -- and probably about 10 before a water pitcher was dropped off. It was shortly after one o'clock and it was not crowded (we saw one girl serving & one sitting in the back doing nothing it looked like; one gentleman was bussing the tables). Also, the table cloth was dirty. Despite those negatives, we would return ... and just hope the service is better. Drinks: lemon mint & milkshake lotus. The lemon mint will really make your mouth pucker, but I did get used to it & enjoyed it. The milkshake had a nice calm flavor, nothing too sweet. Food: Rayoog toast, cheese boat, hummus & bread. Delicious! All of it was so good, though the toast was not a crunchy toast, more of a warmed up bread -- didn't matter, it was tasty & a great size for two people to share. I've been wanting to try this spot for a long time and we finally came here one Saturday for brunch. Seems like we visited at a good time since it wasn't too busy. We chose to sit on the patio as it was beautiful weather outside. They had lovely Arabic instrumental music playing and it really set the vibes for our meal. I love to see an Arab restaurant doing well; this one is Iraqi and serves Turkish-style breakfast dishes. I had perused the menu earlier and their toast flight looked so appealing to me, so we ordered that along with a cheese boat and a small plate of falafel. The toast flight included six (6) pieces with toppings of: labne & zaatar, sunny side egg & avocado, scrambled eggs & tomatoes, boiled eggs & pesto, cream cheese & blueberry jam, and Nutella & strawberries. The sweet ones along with the sunny side up egg were my favorites! Such a nice variety of sweet and savory. I asked for salt & pepper because I am a salt fiend and that helped satisfy my cravings. The falafel did not hit the spot unfortunately, the inside was not cooked throughly. The cheese boat was okay, I would've preferred to try the zaatar or sausage one for more flavor. Our servers were friendly and attended to our needs by filling up our carafe of water and bringing us salt & pepper. There is a credit card fee so cash seems to be a better payment method. I couldn't get over how amazing our breakfast was last week. We had gone for my friends birthday and she had been wanting to try Turkish coffee for quite some time. We decided to try the Mams tray and it came with so many great things to try. Everything was fresh and delicious. The only thing I'm not a big fan of which was great for my friend was the feta cheese def an acquired taste. I will eat all the olives and she had all the feta. I especially loved the cheese boats and can't wait to try the others next time along with the shashuka. The Turkish coffee had great flavor but the coffee grounds at the end of the cup are too thick for me. So def don't see myself repurchasing that next time. The tea was also super flavorful. There was no one else in on a Monday morning so it was very quiet which was awesome. Because we had a friend initially tell us you have to make a reservation. Which we def didn't need Monday morning. This place was recommended by my coworker. So i thought I give it a try. Saturday around 1030 and luckily there were few tables available so no wait. Friendly staff and people around appeared to be enjoying the food. I have never been to Turkish restaurant so it was fairly new experience for me. I ended up ordering the special mam's which was recommended my the waiter. Got Chai tea to go with the meal. Over all the food was pretty good, but all the little side dishes felt like something I could get at a store. Nothing stood out far as flavor for me to say man this is so yummy. Ordered Turkish coffee since I never tried it, which was pretty good. Chai tea was also pretty good. Over all experience was pretty good, food was pretty good. Price not so good.. . I was disappointed with my recent visit to this establishment. The staff's unfriendly demeanor was notable. We sat for quite a while and no one came to take our order, we had to call someone over, also no one checked on us after getting our food, requiring me to request service from a woman to ask a question. The food was mediocre. We had to request our bill. Meanwhile, the staff in the back seemed to be joking and laughing about us. This place was incredible! The food, presentation and service were outstanding! We came around 1230 on a weekday/holiday and were seated right away. I'm sure they're probably busier on weekends. There was indoor/outdoor seating and easy parking. This place had family diner meets modern vibes. The server taking care of us patiently explained the menu and foods to us. My husband and I decided to order the special mam's platter, which allowed us to really try a variety of the traditional Arabic brunch food offerings. I discovered Rayoog just less than a year ago, even though I've lived in the area for a few, and my only regret is not stumbling upon them sooner! It's a quiet, homey little restaurant tucked away in an unassuming little lot, but the place is just amazing--interesting, authentic food and fantastic service. Tried Rayoog Cafe for the first time and it was definitely an experience! The presentation was beautiful--fancy towers filled with tea and a spread of side dishes that looked (and tasted) amazing. The food was fresh, flavorful, and felt like a little trip to Turkey. That said, we had no idea what we were eating most of the time. As first-timers, it would've been really helpful if the server gave us a quick rundown of what each dish was or even some recommendations to guide us through the menu. There seemed to be a bit of a language barrier, so communication was a little tough--but everyone was kind and welcoming, which made up for it. Food wasn't bad. It is a little over price in my opinion. When I was in the car, I looked at the receipt and notice "transaction fee $2.50" for our $21 bill (egg fish and side of hummus). When I called, I was told it is a flat fee whether it is $200 bill or $20 bill. I wasn't told in advance, maybe because the server saw my credit card out and assume I'd pay with a cc. A lil Tuesday lunch adventure! Rayoog is a cute lil spot boasting Jordanian and Iraqi cuisine. I was really excited to try the food, as I'd never tried it before. This place also closes by 2pm, so please note it is mainly a breakfast/lunch/brunch spot. FOOD: We (4 of us) ordered the Special Mam's dish, as we always try to eat family-style and this dish comes with a lot of dishes! It came w Arabic tea, pita bread, feta cheese, mango jam, creamy cheese, yogurt, eggplant salad, olives and shakshuka, fruit, kibbe rice, salad and hummus, cheese boat and salami boat. We ordered the baba ghanoush, croissants and falafel separately. The flavors were very interesting and unique. I enjoyed the croissants (ate this w mango jam), falafel (very moist and tender, not dry at all), kibbe rice, eggplant salad, and the cheese and salami boat. I also liked the tea (tho plz note I put a lot of sugar in it). I liked the shakshuka but found it undersalted (also there was no salt and pepper on the tables, which I found strange too, haha). For food pricing, I felt it was pretty fair for the amount of stuff we ordered. We all left feeling full and satisfied. The bill was about $22 each and after gratuity (20%), about $25-26 a person ish. AMBIANCE: The place was fairly quiet, save for two tables and our table of four. The decor was clean and cozy and I loved the music. It felt like I was transported somewhere in the Middle East ! It was very cool. SERVICE: Service was friendly and kind. However, I will say, we had to remind them often to ask to refill our water glasses. Not a super big deal, but would have just liked more attentiveness, especially since they weren't busy. OVERALL THOUGHTS: This place is definitely a unique place to go with friends , I encourage everyone to go try this at least once! I can't remember exactly what we got, but we ordered one of the tower options which included a pot of tea as well as just a bunch of different breading, veggies, spreads and more. I told our waiter I wanted two pieces, but he said that it came 5 on a plate. I didn't bother arguing since we were fine with it. I'm just not sure why the menu is inaccurate. In fact, I read another reviewer say that they wished that they could order a larger serving versus just one piece at a time. The service was really slow. My daughter and I ordered: - Turkish Coffee x2 - This Turkish coffee must be spiced with cardamom. It has a lovely fragrance. - Special Mam's Mediterranean breakfast tray - includes a cheese boat, a salami boat, Shakshouka eggs, warm pita bread basket, and small bowls of savory, sweet, & creamy bites surrounding a pot of hot Arabic Tea (chai tea) displayed in an ornate double-potted tea kettle on a Lazy Susan. This will feed 2-4 people. A water pitcher flavored with mint leaves, cantaloupe, and lemon is brought to each table with cups as customers are seated. We chose our eggs to be cooked over-medium and they were prepared perfectly. It was so fun choosing and sharing small bites of all of the treats we were served. We combined different cheeses, creams, and spreads with bread or fried pastries, and topped our bites with blueberry sauce, olives and veggies, or the delicious marinated eggplant salad. It was fun to relax and take our time filling up on good food and drink and eventually got so full we couldn't finish everything, though we tried lol. This cafe has two gender-neutral restrooms for customers. They don't take reservations. We felt lucky to get in right away this morning and be seated at a table immediately. Usually there is quite a wait on the weekends. Service was very friendly and attentive. We ordered the Ma's platter which came with Turkish tea and a whole host of different items: labneh, hummus, olives, feta, fruit, berries, dough, a meat pie type thing, and salad. It was excellent and such a unique experience. We also had a cheese boat which was delicious. The food is mainly Iraqi and wonderful. Unique brunch experience! A friend and I visited Rayoog Cafe during lunchtime on a weekday. Although the restaurant was relatively empty, it wasn't unexpected as they close at 2pm. The space was clean and the staff was very friendly. We shared the Special Mam's combo, which came with an egg dish, cheese boats, tea, and so much more. The serving was so generous we could have easily shared everything between four people. The meal started with a flavorful lentil soup. The whole presentation was great and it was fun to try everything. I just wish the menu listed all the items in the combo. I really enjoyed the cheese boat and egg dish. After starting with the lentil soup and bread, I got full quickly. I want to bring my family along for the next brunch. I am sure they will love the experience as well.
