We have been wanting to try for a while based on reviews. We tried once on a whim on a Friday night during rush we unfortunately couldn't wait. They get busy so plan ahead! Tried again on a Wednesday. We were able to place order immediately. It's worth it! Green Corner- It's Tucked away in a strip mall in Chandler, this Mediterranean restaurant is all it's hyped up to be. Customer service was excellent--friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The dining area was clean and well maintained, with spotless tables and restrooms, which always makes a great first impression. We ordered two chicken shawarma plates: one with fries and hummus, and the other with salad and rice. Everything was seasoned perfectly. The chicken was tender, juicy, and full of flavor, the fries were crisp and well-spiced, and the hummus was smooth and delicious. We also tried the C1 combo Arabic style, which came with half chicken, half beef, and two sides. Both proteins were excellent, and the garlic sauce was a standout--we absolutely loved it. We couldn't help but notice many other customers enjoying salads, all of which looked fresh and generously topped with crisp vegetables. Portion sizes across the board were very good, leaving us satisfied with some to go. Overall, the food was excellent, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was clean and comfortable. I had a craving for some kofta & Mediterranean food overall and found this place while I was in town for a haircut! Surprisingly, this place was packed!!! Everything looked soooo appetizing on the menu and since I was going to meal prep this week, the Al Sham Chicken Combo caught my eye. For $15, you get little cute pieces of chicken shawarma with 2 dips! I was in love with the red sauce and wish the garlic sauce was more garlic-y but it was good either way! The kofta was great as well but would definitely come back more for their shawarmas but it's definitely the best bang for your buck I also got some baba ganoush on the side to dip my fries in but unfortunately, I thought the baba ganoush was too lemony/there was too much sumac added so it wasn't as enjoyable. Most baba ganoush I've tasted in my hometown also had a smokey flavor to it from the eggplant so it really couldn't compare. read more

Order the Greek fries always duh - Green Corners Greek Fries get an Izzy thumbs up. I had Greek salad with gyro meat. They did not skimp on the meats! and they packaged separately so I could portion everything out. i do feel like the salad was kinda salty but maybe that's a me problem- id probably go light on the olives next time! The fam got gyro pita and gyro flatbread meals - they are different (but both were delish, just a lil oily) Ton of youngins running the front of house and they were all super nice and just good vibes all around. I've been here numerous times over a couple of years,and the food is pretty good but it's been hit or miss in terms of quality. Sometimes my pita is warm soft and fresh other times it's cold and hard like stale. Sometimes I get an adequate amount of chicken skewer and other times I feel like they skimp and give more rice as a filler. As for dining in the seats are metal and hard and it's a small open area where everyone is staring at you. The entry is all wrong too as there is no clear flow and register area gets very crowded so unless you are ordering takeout or it's cool enough to sit outside it's def not my cup of tea. At a different point and time I would have likely given them 4 stars but after moving to their larger new location on Dobson and expanding to other restaurants in Chandler I feel their quality of food and service declined for me. Last visit chicken was dry , portions have gotten smaller and overall flavor was lacking. I'm going to give it a break for now and hope it will get better in a few months for the prices read more

Wow! What a find. The restaurant is smallish, vibrant, and busy, for good reason. The service is quick, friendly, efficient and polite. Counter service and open seating. The food is, and I don't use this word lightly, amazing. I had the gyro platter. The salad was fresh and crispy, with lots of ingredients (no skimping). The gyro meat was tender and juicy, not the usual dry stuff. Hummus was creamy and delicious, and the rice was perfect. The portion size was very generous. Boatload of food for an unbeatable price. Getting a plate here honestly is 2 (sometimes 3) meals for me and it's always so damn tasty. I go for the gyro plate mainly but you really can't go wrong with anything on their menu. My only complaint is there isn't a whole lot of seating so when it gets busy on a weekend, you might be better getting it for take out. And trust me, it's still just as good. I came in with a friend to get dinner to go. All other times I've visited, I got my military discount. This time, the rude employee said we don't have that. He put my order in wrong, we asked for only fries & rice with our meals. Instead, I got hummus, bread & lettuce in my rice. My friend got salad, bread & hummus instead of just fries & rice. Green Corner Restaurant is a secret gem. The Greek salad with gyro meat is huge and seriously amazing , flavorful, and loaded with seasoned meat. Easily a full meal (or two). Never had a bad experience here, the service is great, good is consistently amazing. The hummus and baba ganoush is the best I have ever tasted anywhere and I am still trying for figure out how their salad is so fresh and crunchy. The meat and chicken always cooked perfectly! Great food and always have to stop by whenever I can. It's such a great atmosphere and the restaurant itself never seems to be empty. This is an order at the front and then find a seat, so great for multiple parties. There is nothing bad on the menu and I love their platters and mixing and matching the different meats with the different sides (hummus, baba ghanoush, fries, etc.). My suggestion is to call in your order ahead of time because it can take a while for your food to be prepared. This place is very good! It has very generous portions and we can often times share a plate. I love their rice, salad and gyro platter. It comes with hummus and pita too. I really like this place. I can't speak much to the entire menu since I always get the Chicken Schwarma plate. But I do grab co-workers and they try other things and keep agreeing to go back! Also note, they will allow you to swap out the rice, salad, hummus for fries or extra hummus or extra salad, etc. The place can be a bit of a madhouse during lunch. The place was hopping on a Saturday but my friend and I got a table. I ordered a gyro and my friend ordered the plate version with a ton of tabbouleh . They are suppose to bring out the pita bread for the plate version but forgot so we had to walk up to the counter to remind them. I will tell you that the plate version is huge. Definitely can share it take leftovers home to eat later. Prices are very fair which is a hard thing to say these days. It is marketed as healthy food, just as fyi. I found my gyro to be a little tough and rubbery and not enough sauce or pickles. It wasn't bad but just ok. I've had better. It was however very filling. Staff was friendly and cleaned up plates when we were done. I gave a nice smile at they're sign that says "Hummus is where the hear is" We did take an order to go and asked for Greek salad put on the dish, but they barely put on any. I found this place through their ad on social media. I was excited about the visit, but I can't say this is a wow experience. However, if I lived closer to this location, I would consider coming here often and consider dining-in. This review is from a first-time to-go order perspective. The staff was clear on the phone and patient as it was my first time ordering. Options of the combo meals I ordered were given and I could customize (ex. No cheese, no onion, etc). Parking was sufficient. The restaurant was bright enough to locate even though it was aim a corner. Unfortunately, when I picked up my order at the restaurant. I completely zoned out and forgot to ask for the to-go soda cup. SMH, that's on me. The fries were quite soggy after a 15-minute drive home (but once again, that's on me too). As you can see from the photos, even it's a to-go order, portion size was still large and everything was so flavorful. This review is rating my most recent experience and not how I rate them overall because the first time I ordered here it was 5/5 and I do believe restaurants can have "off" days. Fingers crossed that is what today way. I walked in and ordered greek fries (which I have had before and are amazing) add chicken. Ordered to go so I could get back to work. I waited about 10 minutes which is fair during a busy lunch but I did see the guy that ordered after me get his food before mine was ready so there's that. I had a short drive back to work and my food was still hot and other than the chicken tasted great! The chicken was so dry it was nearly inedible. I had to drink water to get it down. This chicken should not be served to paying customers. For what they charge to add chicken they should be putting quality chicken on the plate. The positives is that the amount of food is amazing. I will be able to get two meals from this. The price too is good considering fast food combos are just as expensive and not healthy and fresh like this food. Will I go back? Yes. Will I order this again? Maybe or just add a different protein or ask for kabob chicken not what they put on my fries. read more

My husband and I have tried many Mediterranean restaurants, and Green Corner is one we will definitely visit again! As soon as we walked in, the warm and friendly atmosphere was greatly enhanced our experience. We ordered chicken and beef shawarma, a fresh Greek salad, and a few main dishes--and everything was absolutely delicious! The food was well-seasoned, served in good portions, and perfect for sharing (unless you don't like sharing your food, of course!). The real test? Our kids. They not only tried everything but finished their plates--without us having to beg, bribe, or remind them to eat. That's a big win for parents! The was phenomenal and not something you can get often however I have never experienced worse service. A member of my party is allergenic to paprika and we stressed this I urgently and they proceeded to serve her food with paprika. The man who took our order didn't even ring up another persons order, and forgot it completely. This place is amazing, the food is so fresh, offers a very generous portion, super welcoming service, educated me on the options and all. I went with the beef kabobs plate and was pretty surprise that came with a salad, hummus, beef kabobs, lots of flavored riced, and as far as taste, amazing! I went during lunch hour on a weekday so it was pretty busy but was able to get a table to sit down and eat and a box because I had plenty of leftovers for dinner! 1st time here.... Busy place, limited seating. The ambiance was fast paced, casual dining. I had the falafel pita, small salad and shared the jalapeno spudz....the falafel pita was good. The jalapeno spudz were okay. The salad was fresh but I didn't like their dressing, it was too sweet for me. My friend ordered the beef kabob but they gave him beef shawarma. He said it was okay. Two of my friends shared a platter and said it was better a previous time they had it. They said, like everything...the portion on the platter shrunk. Will I try it again? Came here to grab some food for my hotel stay, and was very glad that I did. Atmosphere - 4/5 - Nothing fancy here, but a decent sized restaurant that is well lit and large enough to hold good sized groups. Staff - 5/5 - Friendly. This is more of a quick in and out place, so nothing major here. Food - I came here to just grab a quick bite, so I ordered the following: Gyro Plate - 4.5/5 - $15 - Large, large portions of gyros. I got the chicago style with fries vs hummus. I highly recommend this plate. Overall, I am glad I stopped by here. I see complaints of missing items, and I did have to walk back in to grab my sauces and a few other condiments. This place catered a party I attended and I am completely sold!!! I WILL be going to their location ASAP to get more of their beef skewers! Both their beef and chicken were truly some of the best I've ever had. I can't say enough about the flavors and tenderness of the meat and fresh veggies. I highly recommend! We normally order pickup or delivery and the missing item issues have pretty much vanished, thankfully. The main thing I want to hit on though is the quality, taste and consistency of their food as it always seems to impress. Really disappointing experience. We placed our food order and waited about 20 minutes with no update. When we finally went back up to check on it, we were told their system never sent the order to the kitchen. So essentially our order was lost and never even started. Instead of already having our food ready or close to ready, we had to wait even longer while they finally put the order in. Mistakes happen, but there was no urgency and very little communication while we were waiting. Overall, pretty frustrating service and a big waste of time. My mom LOVES this place, I live up in phx and my moms lives in tucson and every time she comes to visit she HAS to go here she doesn't want to try any new places ever just wants green corner. The food is soooo good and they have great portions. The service is alright they forgot to bring my food out once after bringing everyone else's but other than that i've had good service. It's also a really clean restaurant and has a nice clean patio for people to sit outside. read more
