My gym shares the same parking lot and more than once I have found myself walking out from a good workout session to the smell of shawarma rotating on a spit. I have battled the urge for years but I am only humanly. I finally popped in one evening after a fitness class. Beef Shawarma Wrap ($9.99 - served with sliced marinated beef on a flat bread with tomatoes, onions, and pickles with tahini sauce): The meat was a little dry but the tahini sauce does the heavy lifting along with the juicy tomatoes, onions, and pickles. It was just enough to fill me up. Great flavor, super fresh, and it's good eats. It's a freshly-renovated space and you can watch the shawarma on the vertical rotisserie. There was the cutest husky in the restaurant the night we went so you know I was definitely happy about that. I need to pop back in the try their lamb chops. Yum! read more

If you have dined in the Middle East and tasted the street food shawarmas, thaen come here. The vertical spit cooked meat is made with a marinade vinegar that softens and flavors the meat. The hummus is flavorful and delicious. The counter area is cozy, but service was quick and friendly. Personally I never take personality as a indicator of how the food tastes, especially for international cultures and flavors. The beach scene and fish tank are interesting decor. I have friends from Iran/Iraq and this tastes like her home cooking. I know I will be back and if you like flavorful food made with pride and love from Iraq, look no further. read more

The atmosphere is casual, with loud dance music playing, and the staff was polite though appearing rushed when asked many questions. This restaurant is a true hidden gem tucked away in a small plaza. The food is absolutely incredible! I ordered the chef's platter, which was more than enough to feed three people. It also came with soup and several side dishes. Though the restaurant is small, it offers plenty of seating for both large and small groups. When you walk in, you order at the front, and the food is brought to your table if you choose to dine in. This was about our 6th visit and the food is always fresh and delicious! I always get the gyro plate and my husband gets the beef shwarma or supreme plate. The falafel appetizer was a big hit as well. Employees are very friendly every time and we have had no issues. We love the wooden plates, lentil soups, and the over all vibe. One critique is that the music videos play a little too loudly for the quiet dining room ambiance. Not taking off a star for that though because if it bothered us that much, we would get our dinners to go. Food was amazing we got the beef shawarma wrap and baklava and it was amazing very authentic, food came out fast and the people were very kind. I was sooo excited to try this place out, but unfortunately they missed the mark. I got my food to go, and it came out relatively fast. The restaurant itself was honestly really loud for me since they seem to play music behind the fish tank, and boy, are their speakers strong. It is counter service, and if you choose to eat it in the restaurant, they will walk your food over to you. I got the chicken shawarma plate, and for $17, it was a decent amount of food. The chicken though was super dry; a lot of it was really tough, so it unfortunately didn't make eating it too enjoyable. It also didn't feel like it had enough seasoning, so it tasted a bit bland. I made a makeshift sandwich out of the pita they gave with it, and if you eat it all together with a ton of the hummus, the flavour redeems itself. But... at that point, I think I'd get the chicken shawarma wrap instead (about $9, so half the price). My partner got the beef shawarma wrap, and that was better in terms of flavour, but still not great. read more

This place is located on the SE corner of Ray and Rural where TurkDish used to be. They have a lot of signage saying they are highly rated and have the best chicken shawarma. If you look at the photos posted on 4/18/2023 of the falafel wrap and chicken shawarma wrap and compare it to my photos, there is quite a difference. My wraps were very thin. The taste was ok but not the best in Chandler in my opinion. The side of gyro meat was pretty good. The cilantro jalapeño hummus was not very spicy. The workers are friendly and the place is clean. Overall it was ok but my impression is not as high as some of the other reviewers. read more

Supreme can easily get a 5 star review because of their delicious shawarma and generous portions. I personally prefer any kind of Arabic bread over tortillas for my shawarma hence why I gave it a 4. We ordered take out and the food was ready pretty quickly. Tried both the chicken and beef shawarma and both were great. Fries were not particularly great, can't explain why. Loved their toum sauce with the chicken shawarma. It was not overpowering and was kinda thin but we liked it! Prices are good. Definitely a great option for this area! Like a grade school cafeteria. Service was friendly-ish. And they do clean the tables beteeen customers. When you sit down, you get a small bowl of chickpea soup. It was excellent. I was excited to try this place. I had seen it in the news at one point. What a disappointment. The gyro plate is ok, you get like 10 fries with it...not even joking. The gyro is average at best. Far better places in the valley. They charge you $1.50 for a tiny side of taziki lol. Ok. We also ordered the side of chicken shawarma. It claims it comes with beans rice and a pita. It does not. It comes with nothing apparently. And the chicken was very fatty. And it was super, super dry. We didn't get the sodas that were supposed to come with the order either. Their skewers and shawarma are so so good! I got to try their beef shawarma, it came with rice, hummus, pita, and veggie, and omggg I was so surprised that how yummy their rice and hummus are. Usually I go for meat, but their hummus and rice... so so good! Beef shawarma was good too, but I want to try beef skewer next time! I went there around 5pm and it was sold out. I actually tried calling on my drive there to save them the effort but they were so busy, they weren't even answering the phone. I read about them in the local print media and had to give them try with a friend of mine after a long hike. We knew we were taking it to go because they were closing. Once I got home, I had to look at my chicken shawarma plate. It included the chicken, rice, a small salad, hummus, a big piece of pita bread, and container of tahini. Supposedly this place incorporates more Iraqi flavors that aren't common in other shawarma places in this country. With that all said, it was delicious! The chicken was a little bit lemony and a little bit spicy. It was stellar and full of flavor. Hummus wasn't so flavorful but I'm not sure if it was supposed to be. I am so sad to leave a negative review. I regret giving this a second try spending $200 plus. We did Ubereats BOTH times. I do not know if our experience would have been different if we picked up but the location is less than a mile from us so I wasn't worried about freshness or temperature. Those were not an issue at all. Everything is very unseasoned. I was so disappointed. The taste was not very good. The dressing is all lemon juice. It says it comes with sauce and we did not receive anything, both times. Does it come with Taziki sauce? The pita is store bought, frozen tasting. Food is on the pricier side compared to other establishments that serve similar cuisine. We do love the fries, which are crispy and not greasy. This could have been an issue with the cook at the time, but we've found the meat that comes with the main plates to be so greasy! We're not sure if they're adding an oily sauce or perhaps scooping too much oil from the meat on for our orders. With so many food options around in the valley, we do not think we would personally return. We got take out again this past weekend, ordered the lamb chop plate, the gyro plate, and the combo appetizer. Immediately regretted getting the lamb chops for $18.50, three super tiny bite size chops. Guess that's what we get for trying something new, normally don't order that. The gyro meat and rice are always good. The combo appetizer was a joke, just a couple tablespoon scoops of hummus and babaganoush, not nearly enough to share. Unfortunately the portion sizes have gotten smaller and the prices have gone up just in the last year with this place. For the two plates and combo appetizer the total was over $60. Looks like we'll be going elsewhere from now on. read more
