    Veggie plate

10/10 would highly recommend. Pleasant customer service Clean environment Nicely designed Food outstanding! No complaints. Which is hard to come by as a vegetarian when eating out. We had the veggie plate (pictured), grape leaves, chicken and beef plate, chicken plate, and lentil soup. Will definitely be back!

This restaurant is a true hidden gem tucked away in a small plaza. The food is absolutely incredible! I ordered the chef's platter, which was more than enough to feed three people. It also came with soup and several side dishes. Though the restaurant is small, it offers plenty of seating for both large and small groups. When you walk in, you order at the front, and the food is brought to your table if you choose to dine in. This place deserves more attention--great food, huge portions, and incredibly reasonable prices. It's definitely a fantastic find!

This was about our 6th visit and the food is always fresh and delicious! I always get the gyro plate and my husband gets the beef shwarma or supreme plate. The falafel appetizer was a big hit as well. Employees are very friendly every time and we have had no issues. We love the wooden plates, lentil soups, and the over all vibe. One critique is that the music videos play a little too loudly for the quiet dining room ambiance. Not taking off a star for that though because if it bothered us that much, we would get our dinners to go. Honestly ,we love this place very much and will continue to patron couple times a month!

I was sooo excited to try this place out, but unfortunately they missed the mark. I got my food to go, and it came out relatively fast. The restaurant itself was honestly really loud for me since they seem to play music behind the fish tank, and boy, are their speakers strong. It is counter service, and if you choose to eat it in the restaurant, they will walk your food over to you. I got the chicken shawarma plate, and for $17, it was a decent amount of food. The chicken though was super dry; a lot of it was really tough, so it unfortunately didn't make eating it too enjoyable. It also didn't feel like it had enough seasoning, so it tasted a bit bland. I made a makeshift sandwich out of the pita they gave with it, and if you eat it all together with a ton of the hummus, the flavour redeems itself. But... at that point, I think I'd get the chicken shawarma wrap instead (about $9, so half the price). My partner got the beef shawarma wrap, and that was better in terms of flavour, but still not great.

Food was fresh and delicious. It has great portions too. I like that the sandwiches come with complimentary side soup!

This place is located on the SE corner of Ray and Rural where TurkDish used to be. They have a lot of signage saying they are highly rated and have the best chicken shawarma. If you look at the photos posted on 4/18/2023 of the falafel wrap and chicken shawarma wrap and compare it to my photos, there is quite a difference. My wraps were very thin. The taste was ok but not the best in Chandler in my opinion. The side of gyro meat was pretty good. The cilantro jalapeño hummus was not very spicy. The workers are friendly and the place is clean. Overall it was ok but my impression is not as high as some of the other reviewers.

I go where the Yelpers lead me. Usually I am very pleased. It's counter service. Which I'm not fond of. But it certainly, alone, won't affect my review. The interior is plane. Like a grade school cafeteria. Service was friendly-ish. And they do clean the tables beteeen customers. When you sit down, you get a small bowl of chickpea soup. It was excellent. The food came out quickly. I had chicken shawarma and hubs had the beef shawarma. They meats were well done. Think cedar chip consistency. Good flavoring. Loved the white sauce. Not sure it was tzatziki. The salad was great. The rice was good. Not a fan of their hummus.

This place is amazing. Very unique flavors. Can't wait to go back. The chicken shawarma is fantastic and the shawarma fries OMG. just eat here!

I was excited to try this place. I had seen it in the news at one point. What a disappointment. The gyro plate is ok, you get like 10 fries with it...not even joking. The gyro is average at best. Far better places in the valley. They charge you $1.50 for a tiny side of taziki lol. Ok. We also ordered the side of chicken shawarma. It claims it comes with beans rice and a pita. It does not. It comes with nothing apparently. And the chicken was very fatty. And it was super, super dry. We didn't get the sodas that were supposed to come with the order either. We won't be going back unfortunately.

I asked the woman at the cash register and she said everything is halal. Also the menu above the cash register in the store says halal.

It is a restaurant with a mini market which makes it feel so authentic. However, upon my first visit I didn't really look around the market but I did purchase a zero calorie Salaam cola which tasted exactly like Coca Cola. I ordered chicken shawarma plate and for appetizers I got the falafels. I started with the falafels and they were surprisingly not dry at all. I was not sure what kind of sauce it was served with but it paired well with it. The plate portion size is no joke...Everything on the plate had a huge portion size: the salad, hummus, rice, and meat...all of them...Every bite with the yogurt sauce was flavorful. And then I tried a bite with hummus, rice, chicken and the sauce...wombo combo flavors. Unfortunately, I couldn't finish all of it so I had to take a to go box home. On my next visit I ordered the beef shawarma plate and I was not disappointed at all. After finishing with an empty plate, I walked around the mini market. I noticed there was allot of Middle Eastern food, candies, and drinks. I really enjoyed my Salaam cola on my first visit but they did not have the zero calorie version in stock...I did research on the brand and I found that they created the cola to provide aid to countries like (free)Palestine and Yemen which I deeply support. Besides the food, I also saw keffiyehs on display which I liked as well. Overall, I rate this place a strong 10/10. I will come back to try other entrees and desserts like their baklava cheesecake. Green Corner- It's Tucked away in a strip mall in Chandler, this Mediterranean restaurant is all it's hyped up to be. Customer service was excellent--friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The dining area was clean and well maintained, with spotless tables and restrooms, which always makes a great first impression. We ordered two chicken shawarma plates: one with fries and hummus, and the other with salad and rice. Everything was seasoned perfectly. The chicken was tender, juicy, and full of flavor, the fries were crisp and well-spiced, and the hummus was smooth and delicious. We also tried the C1 combo Arabic style, which came with half chicken, half beef, and two sides. Both proteins were excellent, and the garlic sauce was a standout--we absolutely loved it. We couldn't help but notice many other customers enjoying salads, all of which looked fresh and generously topped with crisp vegetables. Portion sizes across the board were very good, leaving us satisfied with some to go. Overall, the food was excellent, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was clean and comfortable. We will definitely be back and can't wait to try more from the menu.

The kofta was great as well but would definitely come back more for their shawarmas but it's definitely the best bang for your buck I also got some baba ganoush on the side to dip my fries in but unfortunately, I thought the baba ganoush was too lemony/there was too much sumac added so it wasn't as enjoyable. Most baba ganoush I've tasted in my hometown also had a smokey flavor to it from the eggplant so it really couldn't compare.

The dining space itself is small, with a few tables. It is definitely not the spot for group dining, but they do seem to have large family style offerings, so takeout seems like a solid choice for larger groups! You can tell they are popular, as they had a good flow of guests coming in and out. The dining space was a bit messy, not the restaurant as much as just trash from leftover guests, though that could be due to the traffic, but definitely noticeable. I ordered a classic gyro, greek fries, tabouli salad and baklava. The price point is extremely reasonable and it was plenty filling with leftovers. The food itself took quite a bit to get out, but again traffic and the staff was kind enough to give us some dolma for our long wait time. Everything I tried was really good, I haven't had dolma before and I would most definitely get it again, theirs was delicious! The value and quality is definitely there and I will most definitely be adding them to my rotating takeout list. I would consider dining in again as well, but find them better suited for my grab and go needs.

I was super stoked to check a place with "retro" in the name out, and I gotta be honest here, I left with pretty mixed emotions about a lot of things. The restaurant itself is pretty boring inside, mostly just being black with a few small pictures hanging up. I was kind of expecting big retro movie posters or something hanging around, but I definitely didn't get much of a retro vibe from this place minus a small neon "bar" sign and a claw machine in the corner. The menus were very cool, right by the front door its a record shelf and the records were the menus, so thumbs up for that idea. I thought i was mistaken, but I don't remember seeing sandwich prices on the actual menu, but as I look at other photos on yelp it does appear that the sandwiches don't have prices attached to them, which explains why I was thrown off by the end price. I settled on ordering the "take on me" which was black forest ham, roasted turkey, hickory smoked bacon, cheddar cheese, lettuce, and mayo on a Hawaiian style roll. I also ordered a sprite and a chocolate chip cookie as a side. The chocolate chip cookie was okay, pretty standard cookie though definitely not worth $3.75. The sprite was $2.99, and the sandwich came to $15.58. I was also charged $0.96 for something called the advantage program which I have no idea what that is. I gotta say, spending over $25 on a sandwich, a small cookie, and a drink is not something I would care to do at a place like this. The sandwich itself was very good, I won't deny that. The meat tasted fresh, and when it was all together it was definitely a good sandwich, but when there's not combo option and a basic sandwich, cookie, and drink ends up being $25 it's gonna be a no from me on returning in the future. Overall, I really wanted to love this place for the name, but the lack of much decorations and prices left something to be desired. The food itself was good, but not worth what was spent.
