Manager Gabe was attentive, Chef Leo is a gem with his food creations and kindness visiting tables and Ashlee was a great waitress. We started with the Octopus and Calamari (fried squid). Both were made to perfection. Great flavor and so tender. A perfect start to the dinner. We had the Caprese and Caesar Salad next. Both had solid flavors, but the Caesar was our favorite. What a treat. Exactly what I'm looking for in a Caesar salad. So good! The pesto on the Caprese was house made and so tasty. I want to try a pesto dish next time. My wife had the Sacchetti Porcini with truffle and it was light and perfectly balanced flavor. The pillows melted in your mouth. Will definitely have again. The Lobster Ravioli had a well balanced limoncello flavor and not too creamy. Cool striped pasta. Perfect for those not super hungry but wanting a unique dish that is sure to please. Steak Nicola was was cooked to perfection and had a suburb combination of black truffle, aus jus and prosciutto cotto to make it a memorable dish. I'm still craving it the day after. We've been here twice now, and both visits have been fantastic! I usually stick to the same dish if I love it, but on our second visit we decided to mix it up and order family-style--and I'm so glad we did. We had the Caesar salad, the sacchetti porcini & truffle pasta, and the beef Wellington, and everything was absolutely delicious. The Wellington was especially impressive--I've had one at a Gordon Ramsay restaurant, and this one truly measured up! On top of the amazing food, the service is wonderful. Tried to switch it to patio seating but it was already taken by the time I looked again. It's a cute little spot. Parking is always packed on the weekends in this area but I was lucky to find one nearby. This is the kind of place where you slow down without being told to. The cacio e pepe finished tableside in the cheese wheel was both a fun little show and genuinely delicious. I finally bit the bullet and got later reservations for a Friday night at 8pm. The restaurant definitely had availability at that later seating. But would still recommend reservations. I didn't know about this place until my friend wanted to visit for a little celebration. My friend sold me on the "pasta made with a cheese wheel" that I'm sure many of us have seen on Instagram, so I definitely ordered the Cacio e Pepe. We had the calamari (fried squid) as an appetizer, it was gone in minutes! My friends ordered the Acqua Di'Mare and the Short Rib Pappardelle, both were delicious from the tastes I had. The cacio was decadent and wonderful, I probably should've had a protein with it but it was also just as well without one. I really loved my dining experience at Acqua Di Mare. I really had no idea what to expect and my unknown expectations were definitely exceeded! We tried the salad of the day, which was a wedge, rack of lamb, and sacchetti and I love them all! I think the salad of the day was overpriced for what we received ($20) - half head of iceberg with a small handful of crumbled, bacon, blue cheese, and tomato. The entrées were a little on the pricier side, but I thought the quality was fantastic. I absolutely loved the pesto and truffle sauce on the pasta. Bread was brought to the table with olive oil to dip and fresh cut basil. I asked for a side of Parmesan and our server Rachel scraped some of the cheese wheel off for us instead! Apologies in advance to the readers for my novel experience from start to finish. We made a reservation and got sat inside. As soon as we sat down, I instantly wanted to move outside to the fresh air and to escape the very obnoxious patron sitting at the bar (later found out it was the owner). We each ordered a glass of wine and started with the carpaccio appetizer, which was truly the first best thing about this experience. The dish was freshly prepared and it was melt in your mouth goodness. The second best thing was our expensive bottle of wine. Our server got held up at a table, so another server brought us the bottle of wine and un corked it for us. Mind you, this was a $155 bottle of wine in a "fine dining" establishment where our server, not once, poured our wine for us or refilled our glasses as she walked by (mainly because we barely saw her). We were lucky to even get water with out having to stop someone, so I suppose getting a wine pour was going to be out of the question. We ordered the table side Cacio Pepe pasta, the Dover fish (also table side) and the Steak Nicola (table side-ish). For starters the food took over an hour to be at our table, ready for the "table side" experience. The server apologized a few times but in reality, when I walked in the restaurant to use the facilities, the back of the house staff was so busy cleaning the kitchen, rushing around to get out of there, we continued to wait for the one and only chef to prepare our food. Anyway...the food gets there and it's starts off with a very, very under whelming portion of pasta for $47. Not creamy, very sticky, honestly because it felt like the server rushed. Where was the fun table side cheese wheel experience? Hard to say. The Dover Sole was not cut properly, it looks like half the fish was left on the board (see video) and the mashed potatoes (see video posted) were a giant cold BRICK!!!! It was hilariously disgusting. The Steak Nicola was an ackward cut of meat which made the cook temperature very off (see picture/video). The outside wonky pieces were well done, the next bite was medium well and the inside was medium rare. Who wants to ride that roller coaster when eating a steak?! YUM! The only postive was the sauce, the sauce that was poured on top was good. If all of this sounds like a great time, you'll be happy to know the owner and his family were also a giant distraction during our dinner service. The owner, Nikola(?), was talking loudly to the staff about there personal lives, leaving, coming back, bringing his dog and family. Speaking loudly over us on the patio from across the street and into the restaurant. Hey I get it, right? It's a family establishment and some people wouldn't mind this. But for a $390 meal, in a "fine dining" restaurant, I would of expected so much more professionalism from him, our server and the chef who did our table side meal. We won't be back. In fact, even after our server comp'd our pasta and gave us a complimentary brownie dessert, it still didn't make up for the experience we had, and going back would be tragic. To say the least. I was so excited to try this place out as it's one i'd pass by everyday after work. Thankfully, my friend decided to celebrate her 20th birthday here and I got the chance to try! I had very high expectations as i've heard many great things about this place. I did enjoy my experience and would likely come back and order things I regretted not ordering but, I wasn't wowed. I was on a budget so I ordered their carbonara pasta and a mocktail. My pasta was extremely salty, hard to enjoy. My mocktail was good, but kind of tasted just like a basic strawberry lemonade. I do think my experience was my fault and I should have ordered something totally different for the real experience which is why I want to try it out again and hopefully get wowed. Had a really disappointing experience this past weekend. We booked a reservation for our anniversary dinner and completely regret choosing this place for a special occasion. Arrived and seated quickly but unfortunately our table was right next to the kitchen window cramped between another table. The place is tiny, so no options to switch. I thought about just walking out but figured how bad can it be. Well, it was bad. Unable to have a conversation over the staff shouting back and forth to kitchen, getting constantly bumped by servers long story short this table should not have been there. As far as the food, big emphasis on the show of tableside preparations, but for us the flavors were just nothing special. Extremely basic Italian fare for high prices. When we booked they asked if it was a a special occasion, and I told them it was out anniversary. Zero acknowledgement. My husband and I have been raving about this place since we ate here in February for my birthday. I ordered the Lobster Di Amare and it felt like it lacked something. I asked them to make it without the tomatoes, so maybe that's what was missing, the acid from the tomatoes. It wasn't bad, but it just wasn't as great as I remember. Now my husband had the paella and that was disappointing. When he ordered the paella in February, it was your traditional paella served on rice and it came with huge prawns, not shrimp. I have to say that again the prawns were huge and everything was cooked perfectly! They've changed the paella and now they serve it over a risotto and the shrimp are just large shrimp, not prawns. Again everyone enjoyed their food and the service, but it just wasn't like it was when we visited in February! Please bring back the paella and make it like you did back in February with the big prawns on the crispy rice. That dish was a showstopper!! Oh yeah, I almost forgot. The mashed potatoes were cold and it was just the big old block of mashed potatoes. The lobster bisque was excellent, but those mashed potatoes, Those were nothing to write home about. This place is located on the "back side" of old town Chandler down somewhat quieter street by the parking garage. It has a cute inside and an inviting patio. My wife and I went for our 17th anniversary and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Wine list: Solid choices across most of the major wine regions. Appreciated our server Alex understanding my wife looking for a sweeter wine and recommending the moscato, which wasn't on the menu. I had the Belle Glos Pinot Noir. Apps: The risotto had great flavor. Carrots and peas tasted fresh. I'm not a huge mushroom guy but this dish blended a nice butter and garlic finish with the earthiness of the mushroom quite well. Not sure if by design but the risotto was a little Al dente. Perhaps a personal choice for me liking it a little more cooked. However, I would 10/10 order this again. Caprese Salad was fresh and loved the way they stacked the tomato and mozz. Pesto was on point with those signature basil, garlic, and olive oil flavors. There was a perfect amount of basil, fresh ground pepper, and, balsamic vinegar to round out the dish. Another 10/10 would order. Entrees: I ordered the Beef Wellington, blue. I will be super honest, it's rare (pun intended) to find a place that truly cooks a steak blue. Chef Alejandro(Leo) cooked my steak to perfection. The steak was soft and flavorful. Paired with your choice of a Cabernet Au jus or bearnaise. I asked for both and each side of the plate came drizzled with them. The slight tartness of the bearnaise hit just the right amount with the buttery flakiness of the dough. The Cabernet had a nice light saltiness that really let the steak shine. 10/10 one of the best steaks I've had in a long time. Would order again. My wife had the pasta Al a vodka. Chicken was cubed and cooked perfectly, not chewy, not firm, that perfect in between. The pasta came rolled and had a wonderful softness to it. It's hard to describe but it was a perfectly cooked noodles. The sauce was flavorful with good tomato and garlic, not too much just right and fresh. 10/10 would order again. Dessert: We had the table side crepe. There was a nice cinnamon vanilla vibe with the strawberry and whip cream. The crepe was a little chewy but overall a fantastic dessert I'd get again. The tiramisu was constructed at the table with each component layered in front of us an doused in hot espresso. We were a little suspect at first but it was one of best tiramisus we have had in the valley. Overall, an exceptional experience. My husband took me here for our anniversary dinner and everything was immaculate! We sat on the patio and it just so happened that there was live music on the corner that was perfect for the vibe. Still unsure if this was intentional or not but my husband swears that they had to be paid because they were playing Italian type music and it made the whole experience that much better. We ordered the cheese wheel pasta, a meat dish and of course, dessert. My husband said he was too full to share a dessert initially but I chose to order the tiramisu anyway and he ended up eating 3/4 of it. He still says it's the best tiramisu he's ever had. My date ordered Cacio E Pepe, the cheese wheel pasta, I honestly expected them to give us the excess cheese they scraped out, since technically we paid for it, but it was thrown out instead. Don't understand the hype of it all especially since we didn't get much cheese out of it. I suppose we paid for the experience. I can't remember the name of what I got but it was pretty good. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Service I understand is supposed to be kind of intimate, but I found it to be ridiculously slow. The table next to us ordered three desserts while we were waiting on our check. Instead of dropping off our check and maybe letting us pay so we could leave. We had to sit and watch our server prepare all the desserts at the table. Cool we got a free show, but we had to wait for them, then another table to get their dessert before he even remembered to give us our check. So that was a bit annoying. I also witnessed a consumer state that their lamb was incredibly undercooked and instead of just cooking it more, they were told that's how it was intended. No raw is not how lamb should be eaten. We had dinner at Aqua di Mare in Chandler and it was a complete disappointment. We had been looking forward to trying this place for a long time, but it did not live up to the hype at all. The "table-side" cheese wheel pasta was completely misleading. Instead of being properly prepared, the manager brought out fettuccine Alfredo from the back in a saucepan, dumped it into the wheel, and just scraped it around for show. No real preparation, no attention to detail, no flaming cheese wheel or roasted peppercorns--and it tasted like it came straight out of a jar of Ragu. I ordered a dirty martini "extra dirty" and was charged an additional $3 just for that, which felt ridiculous. Cleanliness was also a major issue. The wine glasses were covered in spots and dust, there were flies everywhere around the tables, and no effort was made to manage them. To make matters worse, the drinks were served warm. The restaurant is extremely overpriced for the quality you receive. Our server was new and didn't know anything about the menu. She was chewing gum and honestly looked like she had just gotten out of bed. Everything about the experience was lacking. After waiting so long to try this restaurant, it was a huge letdown. It honestly feels like the positive reviews must be inflated--there's no way this place should have the ratings it does. F minus. Save your money. They have several items that are serviced in a tableside style which is very entertaining and gives you you opportunity to see the various dishes and this contributes to a homey atmosphere. Food was exceptional I had the Rissoto del Mar which was a variety of Crab claw, scallops, mussels and shrimp served over the Rissoto. The dish was very flavorful and highly recommended. We started with the camarones à la diablo, and prawn cocktail, and the pasta e fagioli soup which were all very good. For dinner we had the branzino, and the lobster pasta. The pasta that came with the Branzino I know it was al dente, but a little too hard. The lobster pasta comes with a tomato sauce, which was more of a garlic butter sauce, there really wasn't much flavor. Now when the waiter came to ask if we wanted dessert, we proceeded to order. We made reservations for later in the evening and were greeted by a friendly hostess. The waiter was very knowledgeable about the wine list and pairings and made recommendations on the menu. We don't get too many date nights and this was worth every penny. The attention to detail in the food was unreal and loved that you could get a show if you ordered the cacio e Pepe. We will be back for sure to get more of the meatballs and to try their tiramisu which looked insane. read more

my office is just around the corner and I have loved this place since they opened. and to all the people that say there is no parking... the garage is literlly next door. :-) My favorites are the lobster raviolis, the lobster di mare, and when the have that really good sausage, I love the cacio pepe with it. read more

Very comfortable setting, staff is friendly and welcoming, and the food and cocktails were fantastic. I had the octopus and it was perfect!

Friday night dinner, we were seated outside. The misters were on so happy they were especially with table side cooking. Our server was super attentive and gave some amazing recommendations. We ordered the burrata and prosciutto as well as the crab cake. I absolutely loved the crab cake more. Such a great flavor and moist it didn't have filler as some other drab cake dishes. We ordered 4 entrees the aqua de mare, cacio e Pepe, rigatoni aka vodka, pocchetti ala nikola. My favorite dish was the pocchetti ala nikola i was very surprised by these little pasta balls, highly recommend! I was disappointed by the cacio e Pepe I thought I would've loved it a lot more but I feel like the truffle was a lkill and wish there wasn't as much shaved on top I feel like it took from the flavor of the pasta and cheese. And can't forgot the table side tiramisu, which was phenomenal and a must have! read more

Amazing!! My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary here. I love how small and intimate the place is. I highly recommend calling ahead of a reservation here! Appetizers: Risotto was so creamy and seasoned so perfectly. Beef Carpaccio was amazing! One of my favorite dishes. Entree: my wife had the lobster pasta dish that was very light and fresh. I ordered the Veal. The veal was so freaking tender and cooked to perfection. Not overly seasoned and the sauce on top brought the dish to a whole nother level. We even got cannabis on the house because we were celebrating, which was also fantastic. Service was great. Everyone was so friendly here. Food was really good, hostesses had her backed turned to us for a good 30 seconds before greeting us while she was chit chatting with her coworkers. Our server was decent after sitting around for 20 mins and tables that got seated after us got greeted before us. Then the guy who is the supposedly maître d' or perhaps the owner, Hispanic or Italian? With really poor sense of humor told my husband he should've brought his own knife when we pointed out that a knife was missing from our setup. He never brought another knife. The service here needs major improvement but the food was fresh, well cooked, and generous portions. We ordered the grilled octopus and pork belly, ossobucco, and short rib pappardelle.
