We tried Zeitouna, a new Middle Eastern/Mediterranean restaurant, and the food was absolutely delicious! Everything was beautifully presented, the service was excellent, and the restaurant has such a unique and fun atmosphere. It was also very clean and welcoming. My husband especially loved the dough, it was delish! The only downside for us was the DJ. The music was really loud, and it was difficult to hear each other at our table. We ended up sitting outside instead. It was hot, but they had plenty of fans and misters, which definitely helped. Overall, we had a great experience and will absolutely be back! We're already looking forward to trying more of the menu. Such a great new addition to the area!

This restaurant is just beautiful inside. All the staff are warm and welcoming. We shared all three dishes, Greek salad was delicious and the whipped ricotta was amazing, the chicken shawarma was so dry it was barely eatable. This was very disappointing. Definitely worth trying again and having something other than the shawarma.

We got takeout from Zeitouna for a family dinner and enjoyed the food. In order to try a variety of dishes, we got the Tigris Mashawi that serves 4. It included shish tawook - chicken breast, steak tikka - filet mignon, arbela kabob - minced beef, and lamb chops. Since it was a to-go order, the onions, tomatoes, and jalapeños were served separately; the meal also came with pita bread and rice (which we had to request but there was no additional charge). We also added hummus and the spicy eggplant appetizers. Out of all the items, I liked the chicken and hummus the most. The spicy eggplant was nice, it had a good amount of flavor and spice. I don't really eat much beef or lamb, but my husband enjoyed it. All the meats were cooked well and would have probably been even better if we had dined in, which we plan to do next time. Looking at the prices, they are a bit on the higher side however we were happy with the portion sizes. With a large family style option, we were able to make multiple meals out of it. Overall, a great new addition to the area.

East valley, you are in for a delight! We have an amazing Lebanese restaurant in town! We sat at the bar because at 3pm on a Saturday every table in house was full! Sabrina was behind the bar! This young lady spoke with pride about the menu and the planning that went into the restaurant. It was all around a delight to speak to her! The food: I had the hummus shawarma with veggies. The hummus was smooth and creamy. The beef, little slices of warm spice. But together they were just amazing! The beef definitely has cinnamon in the rub, and the hummus is needed to balance it out. The other dish, was just delicious chicken, marinated in a yogurt sauce and heavily charred. We opted for rice and no bread as I am GF. The rice was a simple basmati with saffron or maybe a little turmeric. Now let's talk portions and prices. The price point is a little high however these are real ingredients. Real food costs money. The portions- we left very happy and very full. But we did not bring home leftovers. My meal was on the appetizer list and it provided more than enough to serve as my entree. My companion ate all of his meal. Again, he is pleasantly full! Go and be dazzled in a welcoming environment and eat a wonderful array of comfort food. Be prepared for a little higher prices but it is totally worth it!

Had to remember to snap a photo before we left. Everything was so delicious!!

I'm calling it now. This is going to be the next big restaurant concept in the valley. Tried this place tonight and was blown away by absolutely everything. First, the ambiance. Such a modern and nice restaurant that the Eastmark area has been missing. Second the service. Holy moly everyone was so nice, accommodating and went above and beyond. Third, and most important - the food and drinks. I can't even begin to describe the variety of flavors and just how insanely delicious everything was. As someone who loves sauces, they have the best house made hot sauce and a garlic sauce that complimented our meal so well. And the drinks were top notch too. We found our new regular spot - can't wait to go back! We also got to the meet the owner and he was so nice. Love supporting local families and businesses!

I'm going to get straight to the point: This is the best Lebanese (or even Near/Middle Eastern)…read morefood I've had for probably fifteen years...and I eat this cuisine at every opportunity! Visiting, from California, some dear friends in Mesa, we ventured through the triple-digit heat for about 20 minutes to get there. Even they as locals had never heard of the place, hidden amidst miles of chain stores and strip malls. But it wasn't long before we were all singing its praises and vowing to return. Across the board, every dish was peak: ultra-creamy and subtly garlicky hummus; silken, appropriately smoky baba ghannouj; perfectly crisp, tender, not-doughy-inside falafel; and herby tabbouli, light (but not vanishingly so) on the bulgur in the Levantine style. These basics always make or break such a restaurant, and they were all outstanding. Add to this seldom-seen delights like foul medamas (fava-bean soup), four variants of ghallabah (grilled meats or seafood), chack-chouka/shakshuka (eggs poached in tomatoes and onions), and two types of pita baked on premises and served from the oven--all in generous portions and at reasonable prices--and it's worth the drive wherever you are in Phoenix and environs. I would eat here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner if I lived here. I will absolutely return on my next visit.

The waitress never gave us or offered us any refills on drinks. She was gone most of the night. There's an upcharge for fresh bread and so I said yeah, we'll do it. She said she'd bring out the pee-packaged pita bread and the fresh bread that we paid extra for. Then she never brought out the pee-packaged stuff like she said she was going to. The bread was ok, but they only gave us 3 pieces of pita bread which were about the size of a sand dollar. This was not enough bread for 2 people with 3 dips. Also, the fries were the kind of fries you get when it looks like they haven't cleaned the grease in a while. The babaganoush was really good. But everything else was pretty mediocre. I've been here 3 or 4 times and everytime I feel as though the service is bad and the food is overpriced. It's really sad, but I want to like this place, but I can't. Also, they have a rewards program but my waitress didn't try to get me to sign up. I asked when I saw it. It's a pet peeve of mine. But- I guess she doesn't really care or offer it because she probably doesn't think people will come back. My friend who joined me tonight is Muslim and she needed a place to pray, but this place didn't have one. I was surprised to learn that tonight as well. Spend your money elsewhere.

It came with one slice of bell pepper one slice of an onion between three pieces of chicken, and they were way overcooked, soft and mushy. I could not eat the vegetables. They are perfectly seasoned and exactly what you'd expect. Unfortunately you get 4 stuffed grape leaves for $6. That's $1.50 for a grape leaf with about a tablespoon of filling. I'd either expect to get 6, or expect the price to be more like 3.50 or 4 dollars for the amount. I'm posting a picture of the beef souvlaki pita I ordered. It's $9.99, so basically $10 for about an ounce and a half of beef on a pretty basic store bought pita. Does it taste good? Yes it does, but for ten dollars, I'd definitely expect at least two more slices of meat. It just is not worth what is charged. I did not get the full meal with fries but it is $5 more to add fries to your order and I just can't imagine that it would be worth it. I did see another customer with fries and at best, I'd expect to pay maybe $3 more for what they were served. I don't expect to return. It's too bad because everything does taste good. It just isn't worth the price. Also, I ordered baklava with my to go order. There was only one table there eating and they'd already been served so they were not busy.
