    Lamb chops

Yummmm yum yummm I definitely recommend this place I went with some girl friends! Everything was so so good my favorite was the lamb chops and the hummus trio and I literally hate potatoes like I mean I won't eat French fries and I couldn't stop eating those! The mixed plate wasn't my personal favorite but it wasn't bad that's for sure! Go support local and try it you won't regret it!

If you are looking for upscale halal middle eastern restaurant you found it. The ambience is incredible. All of the decor is on point. Nothing extra. The service is very professional and great. Went there few times. Their buffet menu is amazing. Has everything your heart desires. Their regular menu is great as well. All meals are great and worth trying. The dessert menu is very diverse. Go there and give them a try. You will not be disappointed.

One of our favorite restaurants used to occupy this space and we decided to pop-in this past Saturday. The new management spent heavily in renovating the space and there is a modern, clean vibe for diners. The food itself was good and we highly recommend the Trio as an appetizer. For mains we wanted to share the beef kabob and the chicken & beef shawarma combo. The kabob was flavorful and tasted authentic. Unfortunately, the kitchen was out of chicken shawarma so we were just brought beef to sample. The beef was good but, our craving for chicken shawarma was left hanging. We observed the typical type of challenges one would expect from a new restaurant. Though our app was delivered timely, the kabob came out before we had even gone halfway through the Trio. The beef shawarma was another 30+ minutes, so it was a good thing we were sharing the entree (it was so long we honestly thought the order might not have been put in). Much of the staff was going through the first day with little/no training, so questions about dishes were not answered. The fact there wasn't any more chicken shawarma was not communicated to us until the beef shawarma was delivered, which is frustrating. We're hoping the above is growing pains and we'll go back in a couple weeks to see how things are once they get their feet underneath them. I'm glad we went and, with pivots that solve the front/back of the house communication issue and up-train the servers; this has the potential to be something that is amazing.

I wasn't sure what to expect, but I give them a fifty fifty review. The food was not horrible, but it didn't leave a lasting impression. There are areas of improvement and potential; I'll say that. One thing that I feel they can improve on is picking an area of expertise and focusing on that genre of food. They serve many different types of middle Eastern dishes from Lebanese, to Israeli to Syrian I believe they said including "Italian" dishes. Some of the food was bland and some of the meat was dry. Overall, the food was very inconsistent. We got a lot of different plates as well as appetizer which aren't pictured. Our server was Ameena and it seemed she tried her best with knowing the menu and being familiar with the dishes and bc this place isn't that old, I'll give her the benefit of the doubt in learning what the dishes are that her place of employment is serving. Lastly, the dessert I ordered was nothing like their Instagram photo. Also, it didn't taste very good. Right away, I felt like I was tasting artificial sugar, this dish was not made from scratch (the vanilla custard/cream sauce) for sure wasn't.

The queso was rich without being too heavy, and the mustard added a nice contrast. For my meal, I had the Caesar salad topped with a bistro steak cooked a perfect medium rare. The romaine was crisp, the garlic-anchovy dressing bold, and the garlic croutons and parmesan tied everything together. The steak was tender, flavorful, and elevated the salad. At the table, we also ordered the cheesesteak with Angus beef, roasted peppers and onions, Havarti cheese, and garlic aioli served on a baguette, with sweet potato fries. The sandwich was hearty and satisfying, and the fries were really good The wagyu burger was another standout--topped bacon, Gruyère and smoky blue cheese, caramelized onions, tomato jam, and garlic aioli on a pub bun. The beef and bacon were fabulous and the fries cooked to perfection Jake, our server, was terrific--attentive, friendly, and helped make the whole experience even better. We finished with the butterscotch bread pudding topped with vanilla gelato and caramel sauce, which was the perfect ending--warm, comforting, and just the right amount of sweetness Overall, a great patio dining experience with flavorful dishes, excellent service, and plenty of variety.

Mason was on point with all aspects of service, he was attentive, welcoming, and really made us feel at home. I was also impressed with the new bartender whose name I didn't catch but it was her first night and I would have never known unless she told me. She was friendly personable and slinging drinks like she'd been there for a while. Great job to both of them! As for the food, it was phenomenal as expected but a special call out needs to be made for the butterscotch bread pudding. It was complementary for my birthday and I probably would have never tried it before but it turned out to be the best bread pudding I've had in ages. So tender and sweet delicious!! 5 stars. Highly recommend!

Easy peasy 5 stars…read more Tempe Eats has a cool concept, there are several smaller restaurants that are setup in a food court deal, you use the QR Code to get your food. They have alcohol which seems to be sold by a different company-- Anyways chik pop is just amazing. I got the OG Sando spicy which was a perfectly fried chicken thigh in a sandwich-- they add an extra piece of chicken with it so just on portion size this place is a winner. The heat was solid and the chicken was juicy check my pic. Staff was super friendly and the Tempe Eats has someone checking on you as well. The sandwiches come with a purple Italian style dressing ( not sure what is was) that you may find off-putting so if you are sensitive to that stuff get the sauce on the side. I didn't mind it all. Sandwich comes with fries-- the place has water pitchers with lemons in it, get some water. You need to try this place! Can't wait to go back.

I ordered the Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich, and the portion was huge the chicken was spilling out of the bread! I was actually the only one at the table who finished the whole thing (I was hungry!). We came here for my brother's birthday and our server did a great job making him feel special. They offered him a birthday shot, but since he doesn't drink, they brought us churros for the table instead which was sweet of them. One thing to note* I wasn't expecting it to be as spicy as it was. Our server did give me a heads up but I personally loved the heat. If you're not into spicy food though, it might be a bit much.

What a great venue for fun and dining…read more My group of friends live all over the valley and are always looking for a place to meet that is centrally located. This is located just off the 101 and 202 freeway in the east values. While some of us are just learning Pickleball, we do have a couple of seasoned players. This was the perfect venue to meet up, play and enjoy brunch afterwards. Dink & Dine has indoor and outdoor courts which is great as it is already turning warm in the valley. The garage style doors of the building open so you have that indoor/outdoor concept. I believe there are 16 indoor courts and 9 outdoor courts. I noticed meeting rooms available should you want to do a company event. We played all morning then enjoyed brunch afterwards. Our sever was Parker who was very friendly and attentive. I enjoyed a Bloody Mary and avocado toast with poached eggs. Both were delicious. The poached eggs were cooked perfectly. If you're looking for a great spot to play or stop for lunch, give Dink & Dine a try.

The food wasn't better and the drinks weren't better, but people came to check on us multiple times during our visit, which I appreciated (compared to the other pickleball place near me.) This time, we were on our court for 20 minutes before I went up to the front desk to ask if a server was going to come to us or if we should order at the bar. They said someone should be with us and they'd check on it, and shortly after, someone came to get our food and drink order. One time is fine and understandable, but then after that, I didn't see anyone check on us for another hour. So, due to the delay, I went up to the bar to get a 2nd drink. I would have ordered more food too, but just got a drink at the bar instead. When we wanted to close our original tabs (and our court time was up), we went back to the front desk to ask we if could close out. Then it took a few more minutes for our original server to come back and close us out before we could leave. I feel like my expectations aren't high, but wanting someone to check on you at least 2-3 times during a 2 hour experience doesn't seem like a lot to ask for. And I would have spent a lot more money on food and drink if someone had checked on us! Courts are nice, food/drink are decent. Service has been better, maybe it's just a Sunday night thing.

Imagine my surprise when almost every Korean restaurant I've been to in San Diego and here in AZ didn't know what I was talking about when I asked if they make it!! That, my friends, is when you are backed into a corner and have no choice but to make it yourself so that's what I've been doing. I need sides with it and so I knew the perfect place to come to. Enter Arirang Banchan located in the Asian District in Mesa. I have been here twice but the first time, I didn't buy anything. Today I walked into a restaurant that was empty, but the banchan (Korean side dishes) was fully stocked. I met Hong, the sweet older lady who may be the owner. I asked if she had any kimchi that is NOT super spicy (because you already know me!! lol). She pointed me in the right direction and so I scooped up a tub of it along with some of the seasoned radish that I love so much and the stir-fried fishcake. You can get these at the bigger Asian chain stores, but hey, I'm here to support local small businesses! I was tempted to also buy some japchae, but I don't like wasting food so I only got what I know I'll be able to finish in a day or two. I'll definitely have to pick up the japchae next time! I got home and sampled everything I bought. Hong was right about the kimchi!! This one is just right!! It'll go great once my homemade meat jun is cooked! She even let me sample something else she was getting ready to package while I was at the store. Idk what it was, but it was so red, I was afraid to try it. She assured me it wasn't going to make me sweat spicy!! It had a nice lock to it for sure, but I could definitely handle it. This place is always clean and although it is very simple, it has the basics. I can't wait to try more items from here! Support local! Support small business!! I'll be back probably in a few days, haha! =)

Her banchan tastes way better than the ones you would get from the Korean grocery stores - less salty, better ingredients quality, and fresher taste - which really reminds me of mom's food.
