This has quickly become one of our favorite places to eat! The restaurant is always spotless, the atmosphere is warm and family-friendly, and from the moment you walk in, you're treated like family. The food is always fresh, made to order, and absolutely delicious. You can tell they take pride in both the quality of their food and the experience they provide. A huge thank you to Casey and Shane. As managers, they go above and beyond to make sure everyone has a great experience. They lead by example, check on their guests, and genuinely care about the people who walk through their doors.Their leadership and genuine care for their guests really set this restaurant apart. We also can't say enough great things about Zach, the bartender. He's one of the biggest reasons we love coming back. He's friendly, remembers people, always has a great attitude, and somehow makes every visit feel like you're catching up with an old friend. Great drinks, great conversation, and top-notch service every single time. This place has become one of our go-to spots not just because of the incredible food, but because of the amazing people who make it feel like home. So much fun!! We came here in June, they have both indoor and outdoor courts (maybe 8 indoor courts in total and something like 6 outdoor courts, something like that; and $20 for free play but like $50 or more for your own court, so tbf a bit pricey). People were friendly so we got to play two matches against another team! Then on our own which was a way better workout tbf xD And after dinner outside on the patio, where you can watch the games going on on the outdoor courts too. We got the Italian deli panini which was sizable and good, and the Brisket tacos (which was not a huge portion just two tacos, but they did taste super good!). This is a nice pickleball facility located in Mesa Riverview. I haven't played any pickleball here so my review is only of the bar area. I like that there is indoor and outdoor courts. It's clean and well maintained. Like other nice pickleball venues in the valley with nice facilities and good bar/ food, this place didn't quite get 5 stars from me due to the service. It really wasn't busy when we sat at the bar, there was only one other customer but it took the bartender a long time (like 10 minutes after siting) to come over just to give menus. We just waited and watched people play pickleball. No issue at that point, however over our time there we just felt like something was off and again I think it came down to service just being meh. Bartender wasn't friendly, but she wasn't rude either. It felt like she didn't want to be there, and maybe that was the case, it was around 8pm and maybe the bar isn't busy typically? Either way, who knows. Food was decent, beers were cold, the entire place is nice, they had World Cup on the TV. All in all, pretty good. The staff here is always friendly & professional and they tried their best to assist too many players for Open Play tonight. There were 6 inside courts available (4 on one side & 2 on the other) and 2 more courts outside. At one point all indoor courts were used included 1 court outside and they have one paddle rack that holds 16 (that was full and 4 more hanging on the fence underneath. I'm gonna go out and say they might have overbooked, but that is just my opinion. Needless to say, some players tried to help but were just shifting paddles down the line, mixing up peoples groups for play, that didn't go over well. Several folks left, including me after about 1 1/2 hour of play, even though it was supposed to be for 3 hours. If this is how their open play is all the time, it's not worth the fee. Not sure if I will return to this facility for Open Play, only come for set reserved courts and organized league play. read more

I came here for the Survivor 50th Finale watch party and overall had a good experience. The food was really good I got a burger and a prickly pear margarita, and both were delicious. It was a little pricey since the burger and fries were separate, but the quality was great. The service could have been better, though. The staff seemed a bit unorganized, and you could tell the servers were frustrated and overwhelmed during the event. I think it would probably be a much smoother experience on a normal night without a big event going on. read more

What a great venue for fun and dining. My group of friends live all over the valley and are always looking for a place to meet that is centrally located. This is located just off the 101 and 202 freeway in the east values. While some of us are just learning Pickleball, we do have a couple of seasoned players. This was the perfect venue to meet up, play and enjoy brunch afterwards. Dink & Dine has indoor and outdoor courts which is great as it is already turning warm in the valley. The garage style doors of the building open so you have that indoor/outdoor concept. I believe there are 16 indoor courts and 9 outdoor courts. I noticed meeting rooms available should you want to do a company event. We played all morning then enjoyed brunch afterwards. Our sever was Parker who was very friendly and attentive. I enjoyed a Bloody Mary and avocado toast with poached eggs. Both were delicious. The poached eggs were cooked perfectly. If you're looking for a great spot to play or stop for lunch, give Dink & Dine a try. read more

This pickle ball place really surprised us! We thought it was just a pickle ball court... Nope! It's an establishment that offers food and alcohol as well as having other hang out options like corn hole along with various other fun shit to do.. while chilling out with the best misting system and the air flow is amazing in here.. the place is like being in an open airplane hanger! During a recent business trip, I decided to check out this place with some coworkers. From the outside, the atmosphere and overall vibe looked very promising. Unfortunately, the experience quickly changed once we arrived at the pickleball check-in area. We waited for at least 10 minutes without any staff member present. Seeing a tablet facing the customer side, we reasonably assumed it was intended for check-in since there was no one available to assist us. When an employee finally arrived, the interaction was neither welcoming nor professional. The way we were approached left a negative first impression and immediately diminished any excitement I had about visiting. I'm sure many people enjoy this venue, and it may very well be a fun place once you're settled in. However, first impressions matter, and based on this experience, I don't see myself returning. read more

We've now visited Dink & Dine twice. Our first visit was shortly after they opened, and as you can see from my photos, it wasn't very busy yet. One of the employees kindly gave us a tour and explained how everything worked, which was a great first impression. I've included photos of the membership options--they offer several, so you can choose what fits your needs. They also have a dedicated area for lessons, plus an event space and bar. On our first visit, one of the bartenders told us that the meats are smoked daily on their BBQ. The menu had a good variety, and everyone we met was friendly and welcoming. Fast forward to this Sunday: my boyfriend's family flew in for Thanksgiving, and we brought his parents, SIL/BIL, and their three teenagers so everyone could get what they were craving--and so the teens had games to keep them entertained (cornhole, Jenga, checkers, etc.). There was a tournament going on, so it was packed. We were seated outside at a picnic table to fit our large group. Service was a bit slow, which we completely understood given the crowd and our group size. Our server was okay, but there was one awkward moment. My brother-in-law asked whether the meat had been smoked that morning or earlier in the week due to the rain. She responded, "I don't know," without offering to find out. I chimed in and mentioned that we had previously been told the meats were smoked daily, and asked if she could check. Her response was, "I'm not the chef." We left it at that and placed our drink order. A few minutes later, she returned with the chef and brought him out to our table to answer the question--which made things feel more dramatic and uncomfortable than it needed to be. We truly just wanted to know whether it was smoked that morning or before. The chef was polite and let us know it had been smoked the night before. That was the only hiccup. Once the food arrived, everyone enjoyed their meals and the portions were generous. Our table had a mix of dishes--the Ball & Fork, Park Burger, Grilled Chicken Ranch Burger, pizza, and more. We'll definitely be back--to play and to enjoy the food. I just think the staff could use a little retraining on how to respond to simple customer questions without making it feel awkward. Dink & Dine is a beautiful brand new pickleball and dining venue in Mesa... When my husband / son recently made plans for some high level play, my daughter and I decided we also wanted to check it out. We went on a Thursday night and were warmly greeted by multiple staff members upon arrival. We found our group easily enough and were so impressed by the 12 indoor and 3 outdoor courts, the colorful and clean decor, the sparkling brand new water refill stations and restrooms, and the menus at the multiple dining options onsite. On this visit, I ended up watching my son play and ordered dinner... my daughter and I planned to share a veggie plate with hummus and a burger, but the burger was so good that we ended up ordering another. I hear there is plenty of high level open play daily and can't wait to go play sometime soon! read more

We had a group of 15 that went to this facility a couple days before Christmas. We rented 2 courts. 1 was outside and. 1 was inside. We had a really nice couch, seating area outside and a nice table seating area inside. Our waitress was from California & spicy. We like spicy. Great service. Prompt service. I have had 3 decent experiences here. Compared to one other pickleball place near me in Tempe, I preferred this concept due to its service. The food wasn't better and the drinks weren't better, but people came to check on us multiple times during our visit, which I appreciated (compared to the other pickleball place near me.) This time, we were on our court for 20 minutes before I went up to the front desk to ask if a server was going to come to us or if we should order at the bar. They said someone should be with us and they'd check on it, and shortly after, someone came to get our food and drink order. One time is fine and understandable, but then after that, I didn't see anyone check on us for another hour. So, due to the delay, I went up to the bar to get a 2nd drink. I would have ordered more food too, but just got a drink at the bar instead. When we wanted to close our original tabs (and our court time was up), we went back to the front desk to ask we if could close out. Then it took a few more minutes for our original server to come back and close us out before we could leave. I feel like my expectations aren't high, but wanting someone to check on you at least 2-3 times during a 2 hour experience doesn't seem like a lot to ask for. And I would have spent a lot more money on food and drink if someone had checked on us! Courts are nice, food/drink are decent. It's amateur hour when it comes to the bartenders. "What's up bro?l isn't a good start. I avoiding be surprised when the bartender is rocketing a mullet and sporting a dangling earring. My date isn't much of a drinker, so she ordered a Shirley temple. We had to explain it him. I asked for a Long Island ice tea. They also didn't know what all went into it, so I was charged for each separate drink. Management is just as out of touch, and I decided to cut my losses after arguing over being over charged. This is an awesome place to spend time with friends, family, and even your dog. It has a super casual, welcoming vibe and plenty to do. With 13 pickleball courts, it's easy to get a game going with friends and reservation prices are pretty affordable too. Lighting can be a little tricky depending on the time of day. You might get blinded by the evening sun. Besides pickleball, there are other yard games and activities to keep everyone entertained. Food-wise, I tried the breakfast burrito, and it was surprisingly delicious-crispy from the panini press, which was a great touch. I got invited to a practice session at Dink and Dine and let me tell you... this place is going to be a game changer! They've got 12 indoor courts and 3 outdoor courts, so whether it's blazing hot or raining, you can still play. The vibe was so fun and welcoming--it feels like a spot where both serious players and total beginners will feel at home. And the food... wow. It really lives up to the "Dine" in the name. Multiple kitchens mean you can grab something casual between games or sit down for an elevated meal with friends. We sampled some of the menu and everything was delicious--I can totally see people coming here just to eat, even if they don't play. On top of that, they've got three beautiful event spaces that will be perfect for parties, celebrations, or team events. The team seemed to be trained extremely well, and had so much enthusiasm for their new jobs. Honestly, the entire staff their couldn't have been friendlier, and our server mentioned the official opening is August 20th. Pickleball + amazing food + incredible atmosphere? I have been here twice. Food and drinks are good. I recommend their pizza. :) the last time we were there, it was a weird encounter. One complaint I have is: one court was reserved. Mind you, it was a weekday and 3 other courts were open around us. 4 players were playing a game on the court. 2 players were just sitting so they decided to hit the ball back and forth. Well, a front desk rep came up and told them they had to pay for the court if they're playing on the court. They were just practicing hitting the ball:. After watching a movie, my husband and I decided to check out Dink and Dine for lunch. We were warmly greeted by the staff, who even offered us a tour of the venue. I was impressed by the indoor and outdoor pickleball courts, as well as the dining areas available both inside and out. The private event spaces also caught my eye. For lunch, my husband ordered the Park burger and found it delicious. I chose the Grilled Chicken Ranch BLT, which I really enjoyed. The fries were fresh and tasty, especially with the house ranch dressing accompanying them. With great service, yummy food, and fun recreation, what more could you ask for? We plan to return to enjoy more meals and play pickleball. It's a fantastic indoor venue to beat the heat and have fun with our adult children. Dink & Dine is a 10/10 home run. The space is fantastic, both indoor and outdoor. In spite of it being the size of a Costco, the space is very warm and welcoming. I've been to places like Top Golf and Electric Pickle where the food was fine, not bad, but I wouldn't go there to just eat. I would absolutely go to Dink & Dine to eat even if I didn't want to play pickleball! The food is absolutely top notch! Drinks are great too, I highly recommend the pickle margaritas! The courts are all really nice, and the staff is super friendly. By far the best sports/entertainment/fine dining spot I've ever been to! read more

This is my favorite place to play in AZ. The venue is first class and the staff are so friendly. I'll be a regular for sure.

So disappointing. First Dink & Dine location and I hope the future ones nationwide do almost everything differently. The design of the space could have been so much better. I believe 3-4 prior tenants in same space went bankrupt...this one will likely do so as well. They did almost everything wrong. Bar way too small. Service terrible. Caesar salad very anchovie forward. Smoked salmon was off. Both Caesar salads were left mostly uneaten. WAY too much bread on the sandwich. Had to go to bar for salt pepper, rudely scolded by a kid bartender "you have to ask your server" and then she dumped those paper pepper and salt packets you get at McDonald's. Weird. And unacceptable when you're paying $20 for pretty much every item. Except, you're paying $7, yes, SEVEN DOLLARS for their "house pickled veggies" which come in a literal 2oz tiny ramekin. Unreal. Everything is weird. Service is so poor. Outdoor dining is next to a pickle ball court, where balls are flying into dining area. Almost no TVs outside or at pickleball courts. Literally ONE TV in the giant outdoor patio. They could have done an amazing, bigger bar/outdoor bar/awesome TVs, make it a destination. Only 6-8 seats at outside bar. Menu is confusing. One time when I was there bartender said "I don't have a cash drawer so I can't give you change." Drink prices are way too high, like $7 for draft Coors light. No happy hour. Mesa Riverview is the place where businesses go to die and I don't expect this place to make it. What's inexcusable is that they took over a place (Reverly) that had a huge awesome outdoor bar and demoed it. Sure, they're dog friendly but to get to it you enter from the east patio where they have positioned the smoking area/ash tray immediately outside the entrance, so we literally walked through a group of 10 people smoking right next to the patio entrance. No offer of water for the dogs. Had to ask for silverware/napkins. Service was kids who were high and/or lazy, unrefined. Don't believe there are locker rooms for the pickleball players. They're trying to be an elevated dining experience in the middle of pickleball courts. Drinks in plastic glasses. Sandwich board is just too small creating a mess. Fries mediocre. Ranch was not good. Just doesn't make sense. They have an indoor bar that may or may not be open to the public. Very confusing all around. Maybe the pickleball rental revenue will sustain this place but do not come here for food or drink or to watch games. Bottom line - all of us were disappointed. None of us want to return. I expect this place to fail soon and if the future Dink & Dine locations don't do things VERY differently they will fail too... read more
