The bar- but only showing half of the beer selection.

We met friends here for a few beverages and a snack before the baseball game. The beer selection is good. They serve everything from Coors Light to higher alcohol IPAs. I tried the Hazy Weekend which was a tasty treat. The food is average. My husband and I split a cheeseburger. A minimal burger served with kettle chips. The patio is in the shade which is a plus. I forgot to take photos of the food given we were engrossed in conversation. We would go back for a beverage for sure.

Very welcoming staff and atmosphere, amazing food at great prices, and a variety of solid beer on tap. Couldn't ask for a better lunch, after work beer, or night out!

New owners to a regular tap room! Good first visit since they took over- like the new taps and feel with a different management.

I love that we can bring our dogs with us when we eat out. My friend ordered chicken for his dogs. I ordered a hamburger with steak fries and my friend ordered the same. The food was fast, the server was very nice and friendly, and our meal was delicious. I like that the servers are not afraid of dogs. We did get put on notice by a young lady who first came out to talk to us because we weren't aware we needed to take the dogs through the inside area first to be seated in the patio. So anyone reading this should go through the restaurant to be seated in the patio, if you have dogs. Uncle Best's is a pleasant place to eat with your furry friends. Thankfully, they thought of everything, from chicken for our pets, to ample shade on the patio. We both had a good time there and we will come back at some point. Overall, it was relaxing and there was very little noise, which kept his dogs calm. I recommend this restaurant if you're interested in bringing your furry friends along and the food will not disappoint!

Lettuce and avocado were not of very good quality. Bacon tasted more like a grill than bacon. The chicken and dressing were ok. I had the sirloin sliders with fries. For me, it was a big hike up to the north side- but totally worth the haul! I grew up in the Midwest, occasionally going to one or two German restaurant/ clubs, so this was not an unfamiliar atmosphere to me. It is definitely a "seasoned" vibe, having immediately taken over the space by a former western bar/beer hall that had been in existence for 50+ years. Their menu says "German and Hungarian" but all I read was German. They have a solid European beer selection, including taps and bottles and some cocktails with a German twist. The one that threw me for a loop (in the best way) was Kriek! So ofc I got a pint. We shared a (fairly large) pretzel to start, which comes with beer cheese. Tasty, but I was genuinely shocked there was no mustard. I ordered the jagerschnitzel (pork) and just overall the meal was as expected as if I was in the Midwest - amazing, delicious, insert chef's kiss. I wish I could have joined the clean plate club. The cucumber salad was flavorful and not too sour/pickley. My friend and I both noted how umami the savory sauce was- not too bacon, not too mushroom. The potatoes were not too salty or under-seasoned. Literally willing to drive up again if/when someone tells me to go. It wasn't horribly busy so it didn't take forever to order and get everything we needed. Our server was super nice and patient. She even gave a bar suggestion that ended up being a nice cherry for the top of the evening.

The inside has many seats with comfy couches as well. The beer is top notch for multiple palate attractions. Food options are all around, while you're able to indulge in some food trucks, bring in your own, or free popcorn in the corner that has so many spices to choose from to top add. My fave is the Ole Bay. Cans to go are available as well. To top off this amazing experience, the service is suuuuper friendly! Always looking to come back even if I live right down the road!!

The L-shaped bar seats 15 people and there are six high tops that seat six people, three picnic tables outside for eight people each, and a long couch inside for four people to chill. My beertender was very friendly and accomodating. He gave my dog Hansel a bowl of water and a biscuit. This is a very dogfriendly taproom. Both beers I had were very tasty. My first pint was a Hefeweizen. It had a slight waxy mouthfeel. My second pint was an oatmeal stout. At 7.3% ABV it was a tad strong, but it went down very smoothly. I snacked on some free popcorn but it was seasoned with a strong spice. Thankfully I could help myself to the water fountain. I enjoyed the ambiance and will be back.
