    Beef Shawarma Wrap
    Caroline E.

The employees were so friendly! We got the euro plate and beef shawarma wrap to split, we could have just got one or the other because it was so much food but really good! The euro meat, rice, hummus, and Greek salad were delicious! My husband liked the beef shawarma wrap more than I did but all in all we would definitely be back!

The Charcoal Chicken with 3 sides

I just tried this new neighborhood restaurant last week when I wanted a Gyro. It was great and reviewed but I noticed the Charcoal Grilled Chicken on the menu and knew I would be back. It did not disappoint. Charcoal Grilled marinated Whole chicken with your choice of rice or fries, hummus, garlic dip and salad. I went with the Hummus, the fries and the rice. I know, choose a starch and move on with your life but my wife wanted the fries and I really wanted to try the rice so 2 starches. Both great. The fries were fantastic as last week and still a ton of them for a side but the rice was really good also. It was very soft and fluffy with a nice flavor. I even liked them left over and cold the next morning. Come on, you know you do that too. The chicken had a delicious charcoal outside to it while still being tender and juicy. The garlic sauce is a bit strong for my taste but if you love garlic fries, you will love that combo. Again, the hummus was great with the accompanying pita bread for dipping. Definitely a complete meal for a small to medium family. All for just under $30. I will be a repeat customer for this one.

Chicken Shawarma wrap and garlic cilantro "fries"

Finally tried this place! Not sure why I waited so long since its so close to home. I have been seeing it featured more recently on IG by content creators and everyone says its amazing! My son and I ordered the same thing. Chicken shawarma wrap. Made it a combo which comes with a drink and fries, which we asked for the garlic/cilantro fries. The wrap comes with lettuce, pickles and garlic sauce. The wrap alone is $9.95. Making it a combo adds $5.95. Making the fries garlic/cilantro fries adds $1.50. More than I want to spend for one fast casual meal but for the service, quality and taste of the food it was worth it. This food was as delicious as everyone is saying! The garlic sauce packs a punch but in the best way possible. The pickles add a nice crunch and flavor component that I would miss if it wasn't in the wrap. The "fries" were so good and garlicy. They weren't technically french fries, more like diced potatoes but still good. I was expecting french fries however. I looked here prior to our visit and saw multiple pictures of regular fries so honestly that was what I expected. Not sure if these new "fries" are the norm or just a substitute for the time being. My kids also got a slice of Dubai chocolate cake and enjoyed it. I had a bite and did think is quite delicious. The guy at the counter taking orders was very helpful and explained the menu when we first arrived. He told us our food would take about 10 minutes or so and he was correct. He was kind enough to bring our food to us as well. We will most definitely be back! The place is going in the regular rotation for my family.

    Beef Kafta Wrap

My boys were really in the mood for some Mediterranean food so they pick this place for lunch today. This spot is fairly new. Located in a big shopping plaza, just off Power and Ray Road. Clean and inviting inside. It's a pay at the counter and your meal is bought out after it's prepared. One of my boys and I did the shawarma combination plate. It comes with either fries or rice, a salad , hummus and your choice of meat. I went with the chicken & beef, while my son did just the beef. My other son got their beef wrap. This includes onion, tomato, pickle, parsley & tahini sauce. All meals were accompanied by some fresh warm pita slices and three different types of dips including a delicious Garlic Sauce (Toum). They also make fresh pastries and desserts like homemade baklava and at least 3 different types of Dubi delights such as a Kunafa brownie bar, fruit cups and a nestled chocolate cup which we had to get! The portions are HUGE for the price. Unfortunately, the chicken was extremely dry yet it was better flavored than the beef. The hummus was heavenly and could have just had that with pita bread. The fries, were fries. The rice was bland and the cucumber salad was fine. The best meal was probably the wrap as far as taste. The absolute best part of the experience was that nest! I'd come back just for that! Looks to be a family run business and the staff was very friendly.

I've eaten here 3 times and wanted to get a review in. The chicken and beef shawarma plates are the way to go. The meat is delicious! Healthy portions to include the hummus that comes with the plate. I am looking forward to trying other dishes here. Every time I come here the food is ready for me ( I get it to go) and the staff is beyond friendly and makes sure I have everything I need before I leave. Great service, the place is super clean--- Shawarmaati is a place to try out asap. Thanks !!!!

Amazing falafel! Big portions for a great price! Hummus and pita bread were perfect! Will be coming here again.

Combo platter - lamb kabob, chicken kabob and Kafta kabob with hummus and a salad
    Heidi B.

Decided to give this place a try. Very clean inside. Easy to order online and picked up after approximately 20-25 minutes. We order chicken shawarma with fries, kibbeh, combination plate with lamb kabob, chicken kabob and kafta kabob as well as a kafta wrap. The kibbeh were fresh and absolutely amazing, best I have tasted honestly. Hummus (came with the combo platter) also very smooth and tasted delicious. Chicken shwarma tasted great. Lamb kabob was good, preferred the chicken kabob and the kafta kabob. Fries were good. We will be going back again especially for the kibbeh and the hummus.

    Chicken was cooked perfectly

Came here with my cousin last week, saw them on my Instagram feed and didn't realize they were there so I had to try them out. I got the shwarmaati platter, I was really impressed that the chicken breast was not overcooked, it was tender and moist. Did wish that I had a little bit more lamb and the other meat was yummy. My cousin's gyro was pretty good as well but I did find it to be a tad bit salty, and I am definitely heavier on the salt kind of person. We also asked if the fries were seasoned and the gentleman said they were, but they weren't but they are still crispy and yummy. The salad that came with mine was also really delicious. I did find the hummus to be a little lackluster though. Either way I will be back, to try new items.

Great little Mediterranean restaurant which opened August 2024. Located just in front of Majestic Cinemas. Staff was so helpful and friendly upon arrival until we left. The menu was what you expect from the name. Prices are a little higher but you can tell they are using fresh ingredients and made from scratch. The food tasted authentic. The meat was seasoned well. I thought the falafel was a bit too dry. I would have liked some hummus with it. Overall, a positive experience and would likely return.

We actually planned to eat next door, but they had closed and changed into a different restaurant, so we walked over last minute since we were short on time and honestly, it was a win! It's kind of a restaurant/fast-casual hybrid. You order at the window and they bring the food out to you, but the service felt way more personal than you would expect from that style. The service was spectacular friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The food...insane! Everything tasted incredibly authentic, and you could smell the charcoal grill as soon as you walked in. That smoky flavor really came through in every bite. Our taste buds were dancing the whole meal. The Dubai chocolate desserts? Total surprise hit. My husband said it was the best thing he's ever tasted. I also loved that they served everything on real glass plates. Such a small touch, but it made the whole experience feel more homemade and intentional instead of rushed. Huge portions, amazing flavor, great service. The food was definitely the highlight of our night. We will be back!

    Birds Nest

I've never had Mediterranean food before and thought I'd try this restaurant out. They welcome you as you walk in and order at the counter. You can watch them make your food as you wait. The Caesar salad is very flavorful, enough dressing and large enough for 2! The pita crisps were an added topping I'm glad I chose. The garlic cilantro fries, flavorful and large enough for several people! The bird nest YUM!! I've seen others sell them but always pricey! This one was priced perfectly. Make sure to get the watermelon strawberry lemonade!! I will be more adventurous next time and try other menu items. Clean open restaurant with a lot of seating.

Wow! What a pleasant surprise. Randomly drove by and stopped in to eat since we were on this side of town and I am so glad we did! Very clean fast casual dining with attentive staff. We got cilantro garlic fries, the beef shawarma plate, and baklava. Good thing we shared because there was no shortage of food. The mountain of fries were fresh hot and full of garlic. The beef plate was piled with rice, salad, and hummus. Everything was yummy, but I wish there was more meat and not so dry. The best part was the baklava: So flaky and sweet and perfect. I would definitely stop by again when I'm in the area Environment: 4/5 Food: 4/5 Price: 4.5/5 Service: 5/5

Absolutely delicious and such a gem of a family-owned restaurant! I had the chicken kabob and it was so flavorful and perfectly grilled -- juicy, tender, and seasoned just right. My son tried the gyro (or "yero" ) and loved every bite. We also just discovered the Dubai strawberry chocolate cup for dessert -- oh my goodness, it's heaven in a cup! The food tastes fresh, homemade, and made with love. You can feel the pride this family puts into everything they serve. The portions are generous, the service is warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere makes you feel right at home. If you're in the area and want amazing food with genuine hospitality, this spot is a must-try!

I'm going to get straight to the point: This is the best Lebanese (or even Near/Middle Eastern)…read morefood I've had for probably fifteen years...and I eat this cuisine at every opportunity! Visiting, from California, some dear friends in Mesa, we ventured through the triple-digit heat for about 20 minutes to get there. Even they as locals had never heard of the place, hidden amidst miles of chain stores and strip malls. But it wasn't long before we were all singing its praises and vowing to return. Across the board, every dish was peak: ultra-creamy and subtly garlicky hummus; silken, appropriately smoky baba ghannouj; perfectly crisp, tender, not-doughy-inside falafel; and herby tabbouli, light (but not vanishingly so) on the bulgur in the Levantine style. These basics always make or break such a restaurant, and they were all outstanding. Add to this seldom-seen delights like foul medamas (fava-bean soup), four variants of ghallabah (grilled meats or seafood), chack-chouka/shakshuka (eggs poached in tomatoes and onions), and two types of pita baked on premises and served from the oven--all in generous portions and at reasonable prices--and it's worth the drive wherever you are in Phoenix and environs. I would eat here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner if I lived here. I will absolutely return on my next visit.

The waitress never gave us or offered us any refills on drinks. She was gone most of the night. There's an upcharge for fresh bread and so I said yeah, we'll do it. She said she'd bring out the pee-packaged pita bread and the fresh bread that we paid extra for. Then she never brought out the pee-packaged stuff like she said she was going to. The bread was ok, but they only gave us 3 pieces of pita bread which were about the size of a sand dollar. This was not enough bread for 2 people with 3 dips. Also, the fries were the kind of fries you get when it looks like they haven't cleaned the grease in a while. The babaganoush was really good. But everything else was pretty mediocre. I've been here 3 or 4 times and everytime I feel as though the service is bad and the food is overpriced. It's really sad, but I want to like this place, but I can't. Also, they have a rewards program but my waitress didn't try to get me to sign up. I asked when I saw it. It's a pet peeve of mine. But- I guess she doesn't really care or offer it because she probably doesn't think people will come back. My friend who joined me tonight is Muslim and she needed a place to pray, but this place didn't have one. I was surprised to learn that tonight as well. Spend your money elsewhere.

I usually order later in the evening, so I haven't been able to successfully call and ask, but this flavor is so good that I always wish there was extra for dipping or extra coating. These wings deserve to be swimming in sauce Other than that? Easily my favorite wing flavor here and a reorder every time. If you love coconut curry or just want something different from traditional wing flavors, GET THESE.

I was looking for some quick Indian food and saw this place on Yelp. It was empty when I arrived,…read morebut it was a bit early for lunch on a Saturday. While I was there, it started to fill up and there were quite a few food delivery service drivers picking up orders. That's a good sign. I imagine this food is well suited for takeout. The place is on the small side but clean and well-lit. I ordered a bowl with rice and naan at the counter and pulled a rose lassi from the case. I had paneer with spinach masala and a side of Shack Naan (topped with garlic, cilantro and cheese!!!). My food arrived quickly and was hot (temperature). No complaints. The paneer was firm and the masala had a good texture and depth of flavor. The house spice level wasn't really spicy at all for this dish, but I wanted a baseline. Some Indian places start on the high end and only get painful from there. That's not the case here; I'll definitely go Hot next time. My food disappeared nearly as fast as it showed up... I will be back, even if just for some Shack Naan to snack on.
