The place is on the small side but clean and well-lit. I ordered a bowl with rice and naan at the counter and pulled a rose lassi from the case. I had paneer with spinach masala and a side of Shack Naan (topped with garlic, cilantro and cheese!!!). My food arrived quickly and was hot (temperature). No complaints. The paneer was firm and the masala had a good texture and depth of flavor. The house spice level wasn't really spicy at all for this dish, but I wanted a baseline. Some Indian places start on the high end and only get painful from there. That's not the case here; I'll definitely go Hot next time. My food disappeared nearly as fast as it showed up... In the area with my husband while the kids played pickleball nearby, we happened upon Tikka Shack on a recent Monday evening... As others have shared, the space is inviting, colorful and clean. There's plenty of seating indoors and out. It's a fast casual concept, so we went up to the counter and grabbed a menu to peruse before ordering. We went with a chicken tikka masala bowl and a chicken biryani bowl as well as some naan to share. This was plenty for the two of us. The original curry was smooth, rich, a little smoky. The southern curry was spicier, tangier, like it came to crash the party and ended up being the life of it. Together? Dynamic duo status. Batman and Batman. Get the Vegetable cutlets. Three handmade, seasoned, golden, crispy potato patties made with paneer, green peas, carrots, and cilantro; served with tamarind and mint chutney for $6.75. Perfect crunch. 10/10 would betray a salad for them. Then came the Tikka pizza ($9.85), and listen, if India and Italy had a baby raised on spice and good vibes, this would be it. While not the most cheesy or saucy, it was good. I can admit that I won't be reordering this though. I feel like there's some other places around town that makes a better Tikka pizza. I will recommend that you dip this pizza in your curry for some more flavor and sauce. Verdict: Come hungry. Come brave. And definitely come on a Tuesday. read more

I had two tacos and both came like they were bombed with cabbage nukes. Why am I eating purple cabbage on Indian food anyway? The taco base is meant to be naan but it's a lot more like a thick overcooked bland and tough pita. The flavor is fine- it's not gross. But it doesn't hit like real Indian food. Coming from the Bay Area with years of Indian food experience across Northern California and the East Valley, I can genuinely appreciate what they're doing here -- and they're doing a lot right. It definitely was a bit Spicer than I thought but was great with shrimp and the rice. The portion was a bit smaller than I thought, but it still filling and delicious. I did get a Samosa which was perfectly crispy on the outside and the delicious veggies on the inside. We ordered the chicken 65, 2 piece samosas, garlic naan, and butter masala with chicken. My husband ordered his curry hot and mine was "house" spicy but there wasn't a noticeable difference between the spice level. The flavors of the chicken 65 and butter masala were not quite as similar as other Indian restaurants but were still tasty. They are pretty quick on bringing out your food. Place is clean with some seatings inside and outside. I've tried a couple of things on their menu but my go too is always the chicken kebab plate and chicken Marsala! Portions are good but I do wish they can add just a bit more chicken in the chicken Marsala. They give you so much rice I never finish all the rice and always have plenty to take home. But didn't see garlic still , so he comes over to the table and has me lift up the bottom one and flipped it over and tah day, there was garlic.
