Food was delicious, portions large, and prices very reasonable! We ordered the brisket grilled cheese, hot honey pizza, and maple bourbon butter cake for pick up. The standout was the bourbon cake - you must get it. You can taste the bourbon in the sauce but it's balanced and not overpowering. The brisket grilled cheese was delicious with garlic fries. A little greasy but we crisped it in the oven and problem solved! Hot honey pizza was also good, a little on the sweet side but remedied with extra red pepper flakes. It's a personal sized pizza but enough for 2 meals if you have a light appetite. Will be back for sure! read more

Nice beer / cider tap selection. Good food. Friendly service. Nice location but on the small side. Searing is arranged well though for size, and lots of outside seating. Only thing I didn't like was that the music was Much Too Loud. It was a Saturday afternoon, not evening party vibe. Music was up so loud, you couldn't hear the person across the table without shouting, and everyone else was shouting at the other tables, so you had to shout louder. It was people watching the World Cup and families there are that time. Turn the music down. read more

The guacamole is so full of cumin that you can't taste anything else. I got the guacamole burger. Would never order that again. The guacamole was completely oxidized and brown. The fries were cold. The bartender was super sweet about it and got me a fresh batch of fries. The beer selections is great though. The ranch tastes like store bought ranch. I'll probably give this place one more chance and get pizza instead. The beer selection is the draw. This could be a great place but management needs to get this stuff in line. I'd be embarrassed. It's not like they are serving super intricate stuff. Get it right read more

Came for a few drinks and stumbled upon their reverse happy hour! Would recommend their Green Tea shots if you are in for a good time Our server was friendly and there was plenty of parking out front. Would have ordered food if we weren't bar hopping. The Brass Tap - Beer Bar Near Me - Gilbert, Arizona

We discovered The Brass Tap while looking for a place with diverse food & drink options between my place in Gilbert and my parents' place in East Mesa. It's located within the Cooley Station shopping center off Recker and Williams Field. There were 6 of us on a Sunday night and we still able to be seated right away as they put two 4-top tables together (due to mobility issues for some party members we couldn't use the high-top tables). The restaurant is smaller inside than expected...they have a long bar with an estimated 12-16 seats and then mostly 6-person tables filling the rest of the floor. Even with the tighter seating quarters, the noise level was fine as we were easily able to hear each other talk. Their food menu has the staples you'd expect from a pub- wings, salads, burgers, pizzas, sandwiches and a few other entrees. We all ordered different items and most everyone enjoyed their meal. My youngest got the Asian BBQ chicken sandwich and it was so wet he struggled to eat it. My Caeser salad was average...could have used more parmesan and had black pepper available. They have a large beer selection with at least 60 beers on tap, and many more beers available in bottles. I tried a local hefeweizen from the tap and it hit the spot. They have plenty of TVs for watching sports...the NCAA games were on and it was enjoyable watching the actions while dining. Their prices were equitable to other similar establishments and we liked the location as it's pretty low-key. Overall, this is a good place for food, drinks and fun. read more

I love this place. It has become one of our regular spots for our weekly happy hour. They have a peperoni pizza on HH for $8. It's to die for. Small crispy peperoni cups not full of grease that needs to be dabbed off. The mushrooms they put on their pizza are amazing too. Last night I got a Angry Orchard and Fireball shot for $10. It was a great pairing with the apple and cinnamon. My husband loves the smoked old fashioned. We were there on Wednesday and the crowd was small. As we sat and enjoyed ourselves the entire place filled up, even on the patio. There was only one server for the entire place - EMMY - she rocked it! Checked on us multiple times while serving the whole restaurant. Everything was great because of her. The bartender looked like he was working hard as well. Glad to see this place doing great! read more

We stopped in on a Saturday night and it was busy. It is in a neighborhood atmosphere that feels both relaxed and upscale. Located in Verde at Cooley Station. This is the second location in the Valley, but currently the only one open. Brass Tap has a lot of options on tap (over 60 beers on TAP, over 60 in bottles). Large bar area with many seats. Ty was a bartender & server. He was great. Had their hot honey pizza. It's really good, great in price and for the size two could share. My husband and I split the All American Pub Burger. It was cooked to a good medium as we requested. It was decent in flavor and again price was reasonable. We will definitely be back to explore more of their menu in the future. *Note- They do have a dog friendly patio. Game Night is in action every Monday evening. read more

Wanted to try something new and saw some good reviews from The Brass Tap so figured we would give it a shot. Walking in the place was pretty busy but the patio was empty. It was quite warm outside so we were hoping the misters were working. They were but it was still kind of warm. After sitting out there for just over 15 minutes we were not so much as greeted by anybody. Tired of waiting we went inside and grabbed a seat. This ignorant guy that works there with an accent and white hair walks up with a big smile stating, "awe, was it too hot out there for you?" And started laughing. I simply stated, "no, we just got tired of waiting for service". Instantly his face grew serious and stated with attitude, "oh she was just going to come out there". I can't say I believed him. The waitress that did help us seemed to be zipping around the room helping more than was probably her responsibility but she kept checking on us. All the while that "other" guy stood by the food window smiling at everybody not bothering to lift a finger to help out the crowded room and overworked wait staff. The food was good. Not the best but certainly not the worst. It was a good experience but I can't really say I see myself going back. In closing I think that "guy" needs to be schooled in how to treat the customers that pay his wage. read more

One of my favorite happy hours in the east valley. A highlight is their indoor/outdoor feel, especially on those perfect Arizona days. Tons of TVs to catch your favorite game, no matter the time of day! The food is great, everything from the nachos to the cheeseburger. I have been here a handful of times and have never had bad service! read more

These guys hosted a last minute watch party for a group of us from out work to watch a prior student play. They were wonderful! They have a great patio to watch the game and eat at. There's a nice area for kids to go run around with a ball or frisbee while you watch the game. The food was good and I would absolutely go back. Even though my team lost. read more

Amazing spot for a friends' hangout. We sat outside on a beautiful day, the service was quick, and the food was delicious. Our waitress Gabby was incredibly friendly and down-to-earth, we loved her so much we had to include her in our group photo. I also love that the restaurant has a bulletin board near the bathroom to support small businesses and local events. I was lucky enough to get approval to put up flyers for my ResuMate dating app. We'll definitely be back! read more

What a GREAT place! Great food, the Steak Caesar was very good and the Hefeweizen the closest to Germany that we have had in the U.S. And the Onion Rings were also the very best we've had. Vibe is just the right amount of casual. Thank you! read more

We stopped into The Brass Tap one evening after attending a high school football game, as they were one of the only restaurants/bars in that area that were open late. Our server was sweet and attentive, and the vibe was pretty chill. I ordered a sangria, and unfortunately, it was horrible. I was able to get it replaced with an espresso martini that was much better. My hubby was impressed with their whiskey selection considering they mostly specialize in beer. They have a chalkboard wall that lists all the different drink specials and beers they are currently featuring. Their food, in my opinion, is just typical bar food. Nothing really stood out to me. Overall, it was a good experience. read more

Absolutely horrible experience. They wouldn't let me add a spicy margarita to my flight, even for an up charge, but had no problem, bringing me a side of sliced jalapeños. My tacos had several chunks of parchment paper in them from the impossible meat. And the bottle of hot sauce they brought me had an expiration date of almost 4 years prior and had mold in the bottle. When I brought it to the waitress's attention, she swapped it out and brought me another bottle that also had mold in it. My entire meal was comped. read more

The food was awful. I will not order anything from there again. I ordered the fish and chips. I received small portions of fish nuggets.

The Brass Tap is great! It's quickly become one or our go-to local spots in Gilbert. Whether we're stopping in for drinks, dinner, or to catch a game, always hits the spot! The location is awesome. Right in Cooley Station, plus a park right in front of it, makes it really easy to bring kids and sit out on the patio. Overall, it's on the smaller side inside. Plenty of bar seating but the high tops go quick. Their patio wraps around and has a good amount of seating though. It can be tough to find seating depending when you're coming, that'd be my only knock. They have a good size menu with a solid variety of options. Definitely recommend their pizzas and wings. Recently tried their Hot Honey Pepperoni pizza and it was delicious! Their wings are cooked perfectly as well. This is a perfect spot to grab a drink. Huge drink menu and over 40 beers on tap. Tons of local options too! The bartenders are excellent and super helpful. Tons of TVs inside and out to watch your team, too. We always look forward to coming back to the Brass Tap. Definitely give it a shot if you're in the area. read more

The Brass Tap - Hot Honey Pepperoni Pizza and 15 Chicken Wings - Beer Bar Near Me - Gilbert, Arizona

I really enjoyed the food at the brass tap! We got the boom boom shrimp for an appetizer and it was amazing. The wings were our favorite in the Gilbert area! The Korean BBQ Sandwich was the only thing I wouldn't get again. In the picture on the menu the chicken is tossed in sauce but when I got it, there was hardly any sauce at all. I asked for extra sauce and they charged me which stunk but still overall and great experience! read more

Our kids love the burgers here so we de died on 4/8 to give it another shot and I'm convinced this place has officially gone downhill . I server , who I may say for being the only one for both inside and out was decent on time but the attitude of this girl which we've dealt with before was horrendous . Read a review from someone else and had the same experience she would not allow you to change anything she has the IT IS WHAT IT IS attitude , we asked for tots instead of fries (which we've away done) and it was a NO!! Burgers come as is just take off what you don't want. We gave it one last shot and never again ... not to mention the crappy and uneducated lion on the rewards program ‍ read more

Very knowledgeable bartender and they have a number of different flights (not just beer).

The food is fire. Parking can be tough at night. Beer selection is vast. If you seek a low key meal (that's not all fuss) this is the place.

We recently tried the brass tap and came back a second time the following week. Their wings are amazing and we loved the boom boom shrimp so much last time, that I got that as my meal this time. The pot stickers and pizza was great, I can't complain with the food here it's great! read more

The Brass Tap - Flights - Beer Bar Near Me - Gilbert, Arizona

The Brass Tap is our neighborhood pub where we usually come to catch a game and grab a drink. The restaurant features numerous TVs both indoors and on the patio, creating a comfortable and laid-back atmosphere. The service is fast and friendly. I have sampled a handful of dishes here, from pretzel bites and brussels sprouts to cod tacos and fried shrimp. The food is decent. Although I have yet to try their pizza, I have read great reviews about it. As for drinks, I usually opt for their spicy margaritas, which are well-balanced with a satisfying kick. The prices are reasonable, and the pub is conveniently located in Verde with ample parking. Will be back soon! read more

We've been here twice in the last week. Our first visit we had great service and the drinks were good. The food was ok, we kind of had higher expectations. Our second visit there was only one server on a Friday afternoon so service was very slow. I asked several times for waters but they never came. Eventually more staff came in but it was still slow. Food was ok, still not super impressed. I did really like my buenaveza - so good! read more

The Brass Tap is a great place to get a drink and some food, especially if it is open to the outdoors when the weather is nice. You can't go wrong the food it so delicious. there are so many choices. we love the service and they have a unlimited selection of beer. On the corner of Williams Field and Recker in Gilbert. Great atmosphere with a good beer list. Food was good and the server was great. Thank you Abby.

Went in for a quick beer but definitely left with a bigger experience. Be prepared to get and see the largest chicken sandwich ever.. crispy, juicy, hot and delicious. Super nice ambiance and helpful staff. Tacos and burgers are delish. Great location with plenty of parking

Food is ok. Boneless wings over breaded and likely out of a bag. Service is underwhelming to say the least. Unfriendly waitstaff and totally inattentive. Had to go to the bar at one point to get our own beers because we literally got the food and waitress never came back. Sports tv management also lacking as most TVs showing the same game. Maybe no manager on duty? Disappointing because it is a cool place but not worth the hassle with poor service. read more

First time in the Brass Tap. Trying to visit new places in this area near ASU Polytechnic. Seated quickly and service was very good. Ambiance was modern and like a Sports Bar. Thursday happy hour was going strong. Ordered the bbq bacon burger and fries. Food was good, noise levels is high. Probably a great hangout for a craft beer, appetizers and, bar food. I don't think I fit the target demographic. Came in to grab an early dinner and converse, but that is ok, turned out to be a pleasant evening. read more

We went for happy hour! The burgers and drinks were awesome. We tried the Mac n cheese bites and pretzel with queso the queso is amazing. The service was a little slow (took 35 minutes to get food after each order) but it was busy and the beer and cocktails were fast! The outdoor misters made it actually really nice outside. There's high and low seating inside and out. Really good deals for happy hour! And lots of TVs to watch your games. read more

Came here with my friend after the rock climbing gym. Lots of patio space or you can sit inside (it was seat yourself). Overall, good spot for a quickie bite and brew. The beer selection was decent but I would have liked a description on the QR code menu, so I knew what was hoppy, fruity, etc.. Luckily, our server was knowledgable and was able to recommend a good IPA for what I was looking for. Food menu was pretty basic for a spots bar type vibe. I got chicken tenders and my friend got the steak tacos. Food was hot and not stale, so complaints there. I will say it seemed kind of like Gilbert pricing, so just expect that but a sports bar vibe. read more

The food, drinks, service and prices are all excellent. It's an excellent place. The only thing I would change is the seating. I think it would be beneficial to have some lower top seating or booths as there were only two standard in the corner near the bathrooms. We wanted to take our elderly friend, but getting up on a high top is impossible for him. I think not having more tables is eliminating some elderly customers who would normally be there to spend money. read more
