First things first, let's get something out of the way: PLANTS, PlAnTs, pLaNtS, PLANTS!!! My sister told me about the plants, so naturally, I had to check them out. And let me tell you, I fell in LOVE. It's almost like stepping into my own living room. If you appreciate a good collection of greenery, do yourself a favor and take a look. I just loved it! Now, we're a family that genuinely appreciates the craft beer industry. And when I say appreciates, I mean we do a LOT of appreciating. There's nothing more disappointing than walking into a venue only to be served basic dirty water labeled as beer. Ugh. That's usually a one-and-done experience for us. Thankfully, this place delivered! The beer selection was fantastic (a little pricey, but the variety and quality were absolutely on point). But here's the real golden ticket to earning our unconditional support: THE FOOD!!! Oh, dear lord. The food was a one-way ticket to heaven, and every single person at our table fell for it. We're talking even the pickiest toddler at the table was practically drooling over the nuggies and fries! I literally stole fries from the kids. I even stole a few nuggies. Am I proud of myself? Not particularly. Was I satisfied? Absolutely! We ordered the wings, which happened to be a special, along with nuggies and fries for the kiddos. Now, let me tell you something about fries. As an Irish-Scottish lady (LOL), I take my potatoes seriously. A truly exceptional French fry is an achievement that very few places manage to pull off, and I'm not even sure I have the vocabulary to properly describe these little tasty beauties. They're homemade, almost wedge-like, but thinner, incredibly crispy, and somehow still have that satisfying heft that your typical French fry just doesn't deliver. Whatever you want to call them, they were spectacular!!! I was literally stealing them from little kids! And I wasn't the only one. Our party of eight completely demolished every last fry in sight. Not a single one survived. We also loved the atmosphere and all the games available. There's something refreshing about being able to settle in, enjoy some craft beer and great food, and casually play a round of cards without feeling rushed. It made for such a fun, relaxed family outing. I'm already looking forward to coming back, and honestly, I don't think it'll take much convincing to get the whole crew on board again. Great locals bar. I like trying new beers, so we noticed this place next to Caldwell BBQ and decided to stop in. They had a nice selection of traditional and craft beers on tap, or you can pick something from the cooler and pay $3 to open it there. Location was roomy, lots of seating, good noise level, several TVs showing a selection of interests, a food truck outside, and a game room in back. Plus a well stocked bottle fridge for takeouts or drink ins. It had a Locals Bar feel instead of the typical trendy pub. We enjoyed a couple of well priced pints and took home 6 choices from the cooler that sounded interesting and were priced decent. read more

My husband and I have been coming here for a few months now. Found them by happenstance but so glad we did! They have an amazing selection of wine and draft beers and cider, plus a cooler full of other great options to drink on site or to go. There are a few wine and beer selections we haven't been able to find anywhere else. And the food is freaking delicious! All the sauces including ketchup are made from scratch, I am thinking we come here for the food as much as the alcohol at this point. Plenty of seats, all the sports games including college ball, great service with awesome recommendations. They also have games all over including two billiards tables. We had no idea the night we came in, it was their "Grand Opening"! This place was packed, but we were fortunate enough to find a place to sit at the bar. A great spot which seems to have a unique atmosphere along with being a dang good drinking destination that blends craft beer with elements of the frozen frontier. Decor is inspired by a beautiful sea creature throughout; featuring the unique "unicorn of the sea" the Narwhal ALL around the space. Entertainment wise, it offers an old-school wrestling scene at times centered in the parking lot and nostalgic pop culture along with music and games. The night we were there they had a local tattoo artist, musician, raffle, pool and prizes! There are at least 30 beers on tap and over 100 canned options in their in stores refrigerated selection. You can shop it, pop it there (at a price) to indulge or take it unopened to go! They give off the feel of a laid-back atmosphere with a nice mellow vibe. Sports projected on many tv's to watch your favorite team(s) just making it easy for those seeking a chill experience without the big noisy crowds. The venue currently doesn't serve food. However, the night of these festivities they did have some meals being prepared outdoors to purchase. Guests are welcomed to bring their own food (even something from the popular BBQ spot within walking distance). A wide variety of beverages, from wines to non-alcoholic options to choose from ALL while taking in the mythical Arctic theme, aquatic ambiance, distinct concept that's been crafted by its passionate owners. We were excited to check out this place for the first time! The owners are very welcoming and friendly when we walked in. There is a ton of seating with the bar, high tops and tables. The decor is simple, but impactful. There are no food options today, but plans for the future. People were bringing in food from local restaurants. read more

Went in for a beer with a few friends after work last night. Saw the food truck and of course had to order some chicken tenders and fries. AMAZING All made from scratch, 2 friends are both chefs and all 3 of us were blown away by how good the homemade fries and tenders were. Told my wife about and going back in a few days for more! read more

My friend told me about this place that had recently opened and how a really special couple had always dreamed of owning a taproom so I definitely wanted to go with her to check it out. I was surprised at how large it was! It was not overly decorated, but everything was very comfortable and updated. There are a few TVs, but it wasn't that sports bar vibe where you feel inundated with TVs in every square inch of the room. There's a pool table and a shelf filled with games, which is a fun touch for when you want to hang out and just have a beverage or two. My friend and I both sampled the fundamentalist white blend and immediately knew that's the one we wanted. The servers were all attentive and we even got to chat briefly with one of the owners. It's very friendly and welcoming, and people were coming and going and some even hanging out for a while. A surprise was that we were offered a little bowl of pretzels and snack mix while we were enjoying our beverage and I thought that was a nice touch. There are future plans for adding food and event nights, but for right now, it's a great place to come and unwind and enjoy a beer or glass of wine. The Narwhal has become our local hangout. Its a relaxing atmosphere with TVs, and lots of events like trivia, bingo, etc. The beer selection is solid with something like 33 taps, and huge selection of bottles and cans, and many wine selections. You do have to go to the bar to order but the service is really good. They started a food truck several months back and the food is consistently good. From burgers, to chicken tenders, to chicken parmesan. The food menu does rotates but one thing that stays consistent and is amazing is the tomahawk steak! Simply delicious. read more

When it comes to tap rooms in the East Valley we are spoiled for choice. For me, The Narwhal rises to the top. There's a nice vibe to this place that I felt as soon as I walked in the front door the first time. There's a great selection of beers (on tap and to go) as well as wines for those who prefer that. Although they have no kitchen you are welcome to bring in food from the outside or, even better, you'll often find a pop-up food vendor available right outside the door. The narwhal presents trivia (by Buzzy Bees) on Wednesdays and that's what brought me in the first time. This is now one of my favorite tap rooms. I encourage you to give them a try! read more

This place is a GEM in the East Valley. This is a fun themed family friendly bar. The owners let us host our sons 21st birthday here and is definitely didnt dissapoint. The atmosphere is laid back, fun and relaxed. They offer a huge variety of beverages from wine, to non alcoholic choices so there is literally something for everyon. They have fun games & a pool table with plenty of open seating! All and all it's a great local spot with absolutely amazing service! We will be back for sure! read more
