Service was wonderful. Ambiance is fairly authentic. The food - not good. The Belfast Burger was good. But the corned beef and cabbage was very strangely and unpleasantly bad. The meat was tough, not cooked long enough, hard to cut and chew. They put a braised beef au jus gravy on it that was sour and absolutely did not suit. A foreign flavor. One bite and you say, "What's this? It's not corned beef!" No corned/pickling flavor whatsoever. That the gravy may have been rancid is one issue, the fat had that taste, but it was bitter, and simply did not belong on corned beef and cabbage. I'm thinking they might be trying for a Guinness beef broth sauce? But it was not good, way too acidic and off, no Guinness taste, which would add sweetness, just grease. Corned beef requires no gravy, just some corned beef pot liquid, or mustard and real Irish butter will do. The mashed potatoes and cabbage were devoid of butter. Just awash in the unpalatable braised beef grease, simply the wrong taste. I took it home and washed it off and reheated it in a pan of water on the stove to which I added pickling spice, fresh garlic and salt. It did not help. Their 'corned beef' is a brisket that's lost its way. So if you plan to order this dish, insist on 'no gravy', else you'll be sending it back. read more

This is definitely one of the best Irish restaurants I've been to in Arizona, if not... It is the best. The food was very good, I really wasn't expecting it to be that great. You definitely have that Irish pub vibe inside, and the staff is very nice. I can't even say I have a favorite dish because they were all very solid in their own way. But the fish and chips definitely stood out a little bit more than the rest. Even their shrimp was excellent, obviously the shepherd pie is always the go to. I definitely needed to try the cabbage and corn beef. But I didn't get a chance to yet. I ordered too much food as it is. read more

I only had their lemon cherry twist minus the grenadine and a side of the brussel sprouts, so I can't really truly rate their food items, but the brussel sprouts were solid! The lemon cherry twist was ok if you're into bubbly drinks, but let's just say I wasn't impressed with it. I was there for their Wednesday night music bingo, and the vibe was very lively. The DJ was highly energetic and did a great job spinning all the songs for bingo! There are 4 rounds of bingo and you get to win a little bit of money for each round if you get BINGO! I rated high because the flavor was good and the band made the experience fun and enjoyable. I contemplated a lower rating because the Shepard's pie was salty for my taste and the corn beef and bread pudding were cold. I don't like my food cold so I took a lot home to reheat. I was disappointed with the Sheppard's pie because everyone recommended it and it was so salty. The pear cider I highly recommend. Great dining experience with the band and games on the TVs. We've been coming here for 22 years service is still great under new management. Incredible ambiance. However I must say that some of the menu items have changed for the worse. Over the years, I've visited this location a handful of times both for St Paddy's Day and for a pint/grub. There has never been a bad experience and always love the selection of items for drinks, food, and even dessert! Love the ability to swap out for an Impossible Patty on their burger menus and I longingly await the addition of a vegetarian cottage pie one day as that would be splendid and make this the perfect pub. Hint hint nudge nudge. My most recent visits for both the watch party of the Euro Finals and the Copa America Finals. This location is spacious with lots of televisions and screens to watch. My friend and I enjoyed so much that we plan to start coming for more matches as this is her home pub. I live farther out, but the drive is worth it! We've been coming to Fibber Magees for years. We love the food especially the Fish Fry, Braised Beef and Fish Tacos. The bread pudding is to die for! Fibber has been our go-to especially for Fish Fridays. We've introduced many friends to the place and they loved it too. However, lately the music was very loud - rap music. Fibber Magees is a really solid local Chandler hang out. The atmosphere is truly Irish pub vibe-- cozy, warm, welcoming. I especially love the little library look in the back. The service is usually pretty good; no real complaints here! The food is also pretty good! The Caesar Salad is surprisingly awesome-- seems like they make the dressing fresh (tastes like real anchovy in there!) and the chicken is well-seasoned and delicious. The wings were quite good; I prefer the BBQ to their buffalo sauce. They have a killer happy hour 7 days a week and live music some nights which is sweet. Lots of draft beers and also tons of these beer "duos" like Guiness + cider-- that's pretty unique. Overall I quite like this place and think it deserves a better rating than it currently has! It was fantastic. We went to support our friend that also own Aloha frozen yogurt. We went for lunch with a friend. The staff was nice and everything came out promptly and accurate. We ordered the Monday burger special and the Irish Fry up and they were perfect. The burger was crisp and the fries were great flavor without being to salty. We really used to LOVE this place but then it went under new management. We still like the place because the food is the same and the food is very very good. Anything on the menu is solid and the beer selection is great. However, this bar took a hit in terms of service. After the change in management, it takes us 20 minutes to get a beer, no one really checks on us, and it's just a little frustrating. The service is really lacking and the amount of time we wait to get helped tempts us to just leave (we would never, but it's that frustrating). We used to be regulars here, but it might be a minute before we start coming back here. They might just need to work out the kinks under the management, we hope! read more

There is always a fun atmosphere here with Irish tunes playing in the background and a great local crowd that comes regularly. The fish tasted frozen the chips were not fresh and cold. The prices have gone up $20 for fish and chips you want fresh fish and hand cut chips. I will go back for drinks but not the food. This is great. We've been wanting to try it. Not your expected hole in the wall. This feels European. Wood everything. Book shelves. A round section of bar, capped as a whiskey barrel. Cute! Happy hour is from 3-7. $3 off apps and $1 off beer and some wines. The Chardonnay is Stone. My first try. But I really liked it. They have 3 choices of poutine. 1 with beef, 1 with lamb and 1 with pork. My hubs would probably prefer the lamb. But he was sharing with me, so beef it is. This is comfort food on steroids. It is also considered an appetizer. Even thought it was enough food for the both us to call dinner. So it was $3 off. Score. I would have liked more cheese curds per ratio and less salt. But again.
